There is no act more wretched than stealing.
She said, ‘I’m so afraid.’ And I said, ‘why?,’ and she said, ‘Because I’m so profoundly happy. Happiness like this is frightening.’ I asked her why and she said, ‘They only let you be this happy if they’re preparing to take something from you.
Happy banned book week!! I’m used to hearing so much about “classic” books that had been banned at one time or another, so I was curious and looked up some modern ones that were on the list and I was?? So upset?? A lot of the books that were on there were ones that have influenced me most in life and that I still hold dear to me heart, and the ones on this picture are only some of them! I find it crazy that censorship like this is still going on when books like this allow us to broaden our view of the world and to empathize with others, so go and read some banned books cause they are damn good 📚
