the invasion of time

L’s manners are garbage so here’s a list

  • he talks with his mouth full
  • he plays with his food
  • he stares – for long periods, occasionally.
  • is inconsiderate of others feelings a good solid 90% of the time
  • asks invasive questions
  • has no respect for personal space
  • climbs everywhere, steps on furniture
  • eats with his fingers ( mostly )
  • interrupts people while they’re talking sometimes
  • he’s just a brat lbr
  • + many more

admittedly he can be polite and courteous ( key word: can ). having said that his overall demeanor is unsettling, and will probably make you uncomfortable with his eating habits, posture, and lack of respect for his environment.

he speaks clearly, and makes sure his point is sent across. to fully express his ideas he makes sure he’s easy to understand, and says everything that he deems necessary. rarely does he stop mid-sentence stutter, or overall lack any sense in his words. L is quick-witted and fast in his responses – but there are times where he’ll shortly pause to fully grasp the situation in his head, and is able to come up with several scenarios and reply accordingly. he does hum, mostly before starting a sentence, and it’s usually followed up by an opinion from personal perspective, like stating something of his uncertainty.

even while eating he’ll still speak his mind.

on a different matter, there are times where he thinks aloud to himself ( typically in mumbles ) and dozes off into unfinished sentences. this isn’t something heard often, unless he’s in a situation where he has to think critically, or if he’s interested in a situation ( mainly due to bewilderment and fascination ). overall, his words are formal and straight to the point.

after months of military arrest, sassy femshep has no fucks left to give when those dang reapers show up

I will most likely never finish this so take it takeittakeittakeit

Has this been done yet, or?

“[We] could bring you down with just six words. Six.”

I feel like this scene kinda shows the Doctors general attitude towards the timelords. They are always just watching, not interfering, but he can’t do that, because he cares. And  they even had frickin training in detachment but he still chooses to care. Nowadays he might doesn’t want to care anymore,(although he still does) because he cared to much and got his hearts broken so many times, but initially he chose to care.

The most effective propaganda is found not in the Sun or on Fox News - but beneath a liberal halo. When the New York Times published claims that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, its fake evidence was believed, because it wasn’t Fox News; it was the New York Times. The same is true of the Washington Post and the Guardian, both of which have played a critical role in conditioning their readers to accept a new and dangerous cold war. All three liberal newspapers have misrepresented events in Ukraine as a malign act by Russia - when, in fact, the fascist led coup in Ukraine was the work of the United States, aided by Germany and NATO.
