the infamous joe

  • What she says: I'm fine
  • What she means: In 2008, Taylor Swift dated Joe Jonas, lead singer of the Jonas Brothers. Their relationship was Taylor's first highly publicized relationship and attracted some of Taylor's biggest media attention at the time. Taylor thought she and Joe were genuinely in love and possibly meant to be, but Joe abruptly dumped her over the phone in under 25 seconds. Taylor then went on to make the infamous Joe Jonas doll video, wrecked Joe on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and publicly admitted that the breakup song "Forever & Always" was about Joe. It was later revealed that Joe had left Taylor for another woman. In turn, Joe wrote the song "Much Better" about Taylor, saying his new girlfriend was much better than Taylor and calling Taylor's fans crazy. On Taylor's next album,Speak Now, Taylor wrote the song "Last Kiss" about Joe, revealed with it's secret message "Forever and Always." She also wrote "Better Than Revenge" about the woman Joe left her for. During one night of the Speak Now Tour, Joe Jonas came, and Taylor and he looked into each other's eyes as Taylor sang Last Kiss, a song of missing him and wishing he would come back to her. On her next album, RED, Taylor wrote the song "Holy Ground" about that specific incident, saying she appreciated their original relationship and glad she had him in her life and would always remember their good times. Taylor then released her 5th album, 1989, and posted public photos of her and Joe hanging out, Taylor now dating someone else and Joe dating one of Taylor's friends. Taylor also admitted that writing "Better Than Revenge" was an immature mistake, saying she knew Joe left her because he wanted to, not because he was "stolen" and they just weren't meant to be. Taylor and Joe were also spotted at Coachella talking and hugging and at one of Taylor's 4th of July parties. It is now the year 2017, and Taylor is dating someone else named Joe, and she and Joe Jonas are good friends, and Taylor's prophecy that she would only watch his life in pictures never came true. All was well.

“So, how’s Frank?” Jamie asked, kicking a random stone off to the side and into the grass.

The park they were walking through was busy with kids out of school running around and playing in the hills. The clouds had lifted and the lake they were walking around glistened under the attention.

So… this chapter is incredibly long because there was so much that I wanted to fit in. The actual Hall of Fame and Wrestlemania parts are short because I needed to focus on what happens at the beginning of the chapter. Don’t worry. The Mania after party and aftermath is in the next chapter. It’s also photo heavy.

Summary - The one where Joe finally (maybe) gets the girl.

Joe’s POV

I always had my eye on (Y/N). The boys and I were such regulars at this club that I saw her every time I went. She was my go-to bartender and I didn’t know if it was because she mixed good drinks or if she was just so damn sexy that she had me hypnotized. I knew I wanted to take her home with me, but I never knew how to get her on the other side of that counter.

I took home a different girl every night, never remembering their names or how they got in my bed. They were always gone in the morning, usually leaving behind a note with their number and an xo - call me. I never did.

One week I had a fair few more sips to drink than normal. I was feeling confident. So I walked up to the counter, giving (Y/N) a cheeky smile. “What can I get for you now Joe?” she asked with a smile. We were on a first name basis, so I was feeling good.

“You can get your butt on this side of the counter is what you can do!” I said, slamming my hand on the table matter-of-factly.

“What?” she laughed.

“You heard me!” I said. “Come dance with me!”

“I’m working,” she said, wiping down a spilled drink from the counter.

“Oh bullshit!” I said. “Just call it a night. Come on, how many times does a strapping man like me ask you to dance?”

And so, she did.

We made our way to the dance floor, dancing with our bodies pressed together. I had my hand on her lower back, holding her body close to mine. I had completely lost track of time or where the boys went, but I didn’t care.

The night went on and (Y/N) ended up at my house. Almost no words were spoken between us. The entire Uber ride there was filled with us kissing in the backseat, my hand traveling farther and farther up her leg. When we got to my flat, I lead her into the bedroom.

As soon as I shut the door, I pulled my shirt over my head. (Y/N) was already on the bed, so I walked over to her and flipped her around so she was laying on her stomach. I unzipped her dress, tugging it off her body, then kissed from her shoulder down to her bra clasp and unhooked it. I quickly kicked off my jeans and boxers, hating the way they made me feel so restricted. I rolled a condom onto myself, then gripped her ass in my hands. I heard her let out a tiny moan. “What was that?” I asked, a smirk dancing on my lips.

“Joe,” she groaned. “Do something. You’re killing me.”

With no hesitation, I pulled her underwear down her legs and pulled her body up so that she was on her hands and knees. Then I gripped her hips and slammed into her. Her head fell forward and she let out a moan. I pulled her lightly by her hair, bringing her neck closer to me so I could kiss it. I knew I was leaving marks but the moans coming from her mouth just kept me going.

I didn’t know how close she was getting, so I brought my hand around to her front, rubbing her clit roughly. She gasped and moaned out my name, tossing her head back. “Just like that,” she groaned. “Oh god, Joe I’m so close.”

“Come on,” I said, nipping at the skin below her ear. “Let go.”

I only had to thrust a few more times before we both finished. She fell onto the bed once I pulled out of her. I took a moment to catch my breath then threw the condom in the trash beside my bed. I hardly had a moment to relax on the bed before (Y/N) got up and grabbed her underwear and bra that had been thrown across the room. “You’re going?” I said, propping myself up by my elbows.

“Yeah,” she said with a sigh.

“I mean, it’s pretty late, and, and you’re probably tired,” I said, scratching the back of my neck. “I know your plans for the rest of tonight probably don’t include me but, I mean, if you want to stay… you’re already here.”

In the midst of all my stammering, (Y/N) walked over to my balcony, staring through the glass door. “This view is incredible,” she said, her arms folded across her chest. “Kind of makes you feel like you’re sheltered from the world. I bet that’s nice sometimes.”

“Yeah,” I said, trying to follow her train of thought while slipping on my boxers and walking over to her.

“The stars are bright tonight,” she added before I could say anything else. “You can see them all.”

“Well there are billions,” I teased lightly. “Can’t quite see them all.”

“And they’re so far away,” she whispered, her eyes still fixed on the night sky. I stared at her curiously until she shook her head, as if to snap herself out of a trance. “Sorry. I should go.”

“You don’t have to go,” I said.

“What if people see me in the morning?”

“No one will care,” I promised. “Don’t worry about it. Let’s just think about right now. We’ve got tonight, don’t worry about tomorrow.” She looked me square in the eyes for almost the first time that night. Her eyes were (Y/E/C), something I never noticed in the dark club. They were beautiful. “Why don’t you stay?” I said quietly.

I didn’t know what it was that had me begging her to stay. I usually didn’t give a damn about the girls who walked in and out of my door. What made (Y/N) so different? I didn’t know. All I knew was that I would hate myself if I let her walk out without a fight. “Why?” she said. I quirked an eyebrow at her.

“What do you mean?”

“Why do you want me to stay?” she said. Before I could say anything, she said, “I hear what they say about you at the club. Almost every girl there talks about you. You watch them leave and never call them again. Why do you want me to stay?”

I took a step back from her. “I don’t know,” I said. “Every time I go there I see you and, well, at first I thought I just wanted the shag, but now I’m not so sure. Maybe there’s more to it. Maybe, maybe deep in my soul I’ve been lonely but I just gave up hope of finding anybody. So I would take home every girl and then not give a damn the next day because i gave up. You, well, you’re making me not want to give up.” (Y/N) didn’t say anything so I awkwardly turned around and ran my fingers through my hair. “Well, there it is,” I said once I turned to face her again. “You broke the infamous Joe Sugg. Now I’ve told you everything, and here we are. So, what do you say?”

Maybe I was imagining it, but there was a faint blush on (Y/N)’s cheeks. She picked up the t shirt I had thrown on the ground and pulled it over her head. “Turn out the light,” she said, nodding to the lamp I left on in the corner. I did so and, with the moonlight shining on her face, I saw her smile. “Come on, take my hand,” she said, holding out her arm to me. Once again, I listened and took hold of her hand, letting her walk with me over to the bed.

We both laid down, (Y/N)’s head on my chest and my arms wrapped around her. “We’ve got tonight,” she said quietly, nuzzling her face in my chest. “Who needs tomorrow?”

Joe Sugg imagine || Best Friend Part: 2 ||

could you do a part 2 to best friends?

Part I:

- - -

Finally you arrived back to your house, after a long car ride home where your parents yelled at you about acting stupid, creating a bad name for yourself, causing someone harm and getting in trouble at school.

Mostly your mom seemed to be more upset about the fact you were missing three days of school and your dad, well – he seemed unhappy that you didn’t at least wait until you were off school property before you got into a fight.

You could tell they weren’t pleased with your behaviour but at the same time, expected eventually something like this would happen, your favourite moment in the car was when your mom asked why you did it and you explained you were sticking up for Joe.

Your mom looked at you in the backseat and asked; ‘That’s all fine and dandy but Joe could surely handle his own battles.’ to which you responded; 'Yeah, he can – but he can’t hit a girl … But I can.’ and your dad laughed.

“Go upstairs and work on the assignments your teachers gave you to do, this is not a three day vacation young lady, you will not leave the house and you will keep your head in your books.” Mom said after you finished supper.

“Yes mom.” You understood. You picked up your bag and went to walk upstairs, your dad stopped you in the hallway between the kitchen and stairs. “Sorry, I got in trouble at school, dad.” You admitted honestly and he ruffled your hair a little, “it wasn’t smart, but I don’t blame you kid.” He left it at that going to help your mom with the dishes…

Upstairs in your room you worked on a few assignments but got tired, the clock was reading a little after eleven now, you would have finished these assignments ages ago but you get getting distracted by various objects in your room.

You were tapping your pencil on your text book when you started heading small 'tinks’ against the glass of the window, you grinned. “Joe.” You whispered excitedly, getting up, you slide your window open carefully. Looking out into the darkness you could see Joe’s blond hair under the back step light, he was looking up at you. He waved, “they’re asleep.” You assured now.

Joe gave a thumbs up, he climbed up on the railing around the back deck and placed his foot on the corners round edge, pulling himself up with ease, he grabbed onto the gutter for a moment and pulled himself onto the roof barely making a sound.

You watched him walk along the roof, getting close your window which had a small ledge you reached out for his hand, he grabbed it and you helped pull him inside..

The two of you had mastered sneaking in and out of your each others houses – just incase, it was rarely required.

“Hey.” He said his voice was a whisper, “Hi.” You said brightly, you both lent in and shared a short kiss, “your lips are so close.” You noted and he laughed, “well it is almost winter, (Y/N).” He pointed out and you gave him the middle finger.

“Hey, hey – don’t be mad about the seasons changing.” He laughed, he took his shoes off so they didn’t make any noise on the roof, he sat on your bed. “How much trouble are you in?” He wondered putting his arm along your pillows.

You got onto bed beside him and laid on your side, snuggling into his side, “to be honest, not much – some, but not much. Moms more mad I’m missing school and going to have a blemish on my record.” You pointed out and he laughed.

“My moms really upset you got into trouble over me.” Joe ran his fingers through your hair. “Awh, Mama Sugg.” You said softly enjoying the feeling of Joes fingers in your hair. “Dad laughed thought – said he always knew you were a fiery one.”

“Daddy Sugg knows whats going on.” You giggled lowly.

“I am sorry you got into trouble on my account though.” He poked the tip of your nose. “Don’t worry about it, honestly … Linda was always heading the right direction for a good punch, she just gave me the ammo today.”

“I have such a violent girlfriend.” Joe laughed and you looked up at him, “girlfriend?” You asked with a smile tugging at the corner of your lips.

“I mean… If you wanna be my girlfriend?” Joe asked now, suddenly looking nervous and you let the smile take over. “I dunno with those small penis rumours I’ve been hearing.” You pulled a thinking face.

“Oh my god, shut up.” Joe laughed and you couldn’t help but laugh with him. “Of course I wanna be the girlfriend of the infamous Joe Sugg.” You nodded.

“And I wanna be the boyfriend of the infamous (Y/full name).” He kissed you. You kissed him back and you kissed for a while before you cuddled closer into him and yawned.

The pair of you ended up falling asleep before Joe could sneak back out…

From your doorframe at two o'clock in the morning stood your mom and dad, looking at the two of you cuddled together, your arm across Joe’s chest and his arms wrapped around you protectively, his head rested on top of yours.

“We might as well accept this honey, those two are never going to be apart.” Your dad said to your mom and she nodded. “I’ll call Graham back and let him know Joe is here.” She turned off your bedroom light and closed the door…

Crazy Airports

Y/N let out another sound of frustration as her luggage flipped over, losing its balance for the third time in two minutes.

She already hated having to be surrounded by thousands of strangers in the airport, but her luggage constantly falling over when it was so busy was not making her trip easy. All she wanted to do was get out of this place!

The young woman turned around to face her luggage, her Y/H/C hair swaying behind her. She was oblivious to the stares that she drew as she fought to right her luggage once again.

Y/N once again started her journey out of the dreaded airport, silently praying that her luggage would cooperate just a little longer.

‘That’s not to much to be asking, is it?’ She asked herself, closing her eyes for just a moment.

Which turned out to be a bad idea for the young woman, for she did not see the person coming towards her. And since he was focused on his phone, he didn’t notice her.

They noticed each other 10 seconds later when they walked into each other.

Y/N sat on the floor of the airport, the strangers parting around her without a second glance.

“Oww…” She mumbled to herself.

“Oh shit!! I’m sorry, I wasn’t looking where I was going…are you okay?”

Y/N looked up straight into the most beautiful blue eyes she had ever seen. The face that these eyes rested on was gorgeous, with an amazing jaw line. His light brown hair was styled into a quiff, and clearly he had run his hand through it once or twice, but it only made it look better.

It took Y/N a moment to realize that the man was holding his hand out, waiting for her to grab it and pull her up. The mans face began to change, worry creeping into his eyes because of her silence and staring.

“Yeah, I think I’ll survive…but don’t be sorry, I wasn’t watching where I was going either.” Y/N told the blue eyed man as she grabbed his outstretched hand.

There was no doubt that there was a spark when their hands touched, which just made Y/N blush.

“I should be saying sorry because you were the one the ended up on the floor though.” He bent over to grab her luggage and put it back upright.

“I’m Joe by the way.” His smile took her breath away, and she noticed that his eyes lit up when he smiled.

She was in love.

“Y/N, and don’t worry, the bruises will fade.” She gave him a smile to show that she was only kidding with him. The laugh that came out of his mouth made her breath catch in her throat.

“That’s always good to know, I don’t really want to deal with a hospital right now.” His smile stayed on his face. Y/N never felt like this around anyone, not even her past boyfriends.

“Flight 210, Heathrow to New York, is now boarding at Gate D.” A voice came over the intercom, making Joe look past Y/N’s shoulder.

“Crap…I have to go…” His smile leaving his face the first time since they collided.

“No, I understand..I should get going too…” Y/N’s voice died at the end of her sentence. She didn’t want to loose contact with this guy, but felt too awkward to ask for his number.

“Sorry again about running into you…have a good day Y/N.” Her name leaving his lips made her smile one last time as he walked away, actually as he walked backwards away from her.

After he got lost in the crowd of impatient airport guests, she turned back in her original direction. Grabbing her luggage, she headed for the door, regretting loosing a guy she knew would have been perfect.

-   -   -

“Here is your cappuccino sir, have a nice day.” Y/N smiled kindly at her customer, who simply grabbed the hot coffee and turned, not once looking up from his smart phone.

“Or not…” Mumbled the young woman, as she turned back to the espresso machine, not missing the small laugh from her coworker.

Y/N turned around to face her coworker, and best friend, to make a comment.

“Keep laughing Y/B/F/N, and I’ll pour foam over your head.” Y/B/F/N gently grabbed her ponytail, her eyes narrowing into a glare. Before she could say something in return, a customer appeared at the counter and she returned to work.

Y/N smiled and returned to her previous task of cleaning, letting a smile creep onto her face. Despite it having been almost a month since the run in with the perfect guy, she could not get Joe out of her head. But she soon let a sigh out, reminding herself that she would not see him again.

Mindlessly, she made the drink order that Y/B/F/N had placed beside her.

“Hazelnut latte.” Y/N called out, looking for a reaction from someone. A man, about 21 years old stepped forward. His eyes quickly dipping down to read her name tag, Y/N had learned the different looks for when guys dipped their eyes down, and brought them back up to meet her eyes. They widened a bit suddenly, and his mouth dropped open.

“It’s you.” Was all he said, barely above a whisper. Y/N raised an eyebrow, and glanced over at Y/B/F/N. Her best friend simply shrugged her shoulders and turned back to the man standing there.

“Uhm, sir…your coffee is ready.” Y/N tried again, looking into the man’s eyes.

“Thanks…Y/N.” The way he said her name was weird, like he knew her but didn’t. Y/N just nodded and turned around before it got more awkward.
She knew it was bad customer service, and her boss would tear her a new one if he saw what she just did, but she couldn’t help it. The man was just staring at her for no reason. And didn’t even explain himself!

When she turned back around, the man was gone. She saw him walking down the sidewalk, phone to his ear. His face showed excitement, and he turned back once more to look through the window, and looked directly at her. His smile only growing wider.

Y/N shook her head and turned her attention to the baked goods on the counter.

There was always at least one weird customer a day, and that was him.

-   -   -

“See you later Paul!” Y/N called out, pulling her coat onto her shoulders. The man behind the counter, Paul, waved as Y/B/F/N and Y/N walked out of the coffee shop. Both were finished for the day, and were both excited to go home for the evening.

“Y/N..” Y/B/F/N stopped walking, almost as soon as they left the doorway. “Isn’t that the weird guy from last week?” Her voice was low as she looked across the street.

Y/N looked where her friend was looking and saw the weird guy that Y/B/F/N was talking about. He was leaning against the wall, looking at his phone.

“Come on, let’s go before he looks up and sees us.” Y/N grabbed Y/B/F/N’s hand and started pulling her along the sidewalk.

They had almost reached the corner before they heard a voice call out.

Never one to be rude, Y/N turned around to face the source of the voice. It was no surprise when it turned out to be the man from last week. He half-jogged up to them, a big smile on his face.

“Look sir, I don’t know who you are. And the fact that you were waiting for me is kind of weird.” Y/N took a step back, wanting to keep some distance between her and the stranger.

“Oh..” His smile fell off his face as he realized what she said. “I am so sorry, I should introduce myself. My name is Caspar. And there is a reason I was waiting for you today…and why I was being so weird last week. Which I apologize for.” Y/N noticed a different accent as he rambled on, somewhere she couldn’t quite place, she also noticed how Y/B/F/N took a half step closer to him, and how she couldn’t stop staring at the man in front of them.

“I’m Y/B/F/N. It’s a pleasure to meet you. And obviously you already know Y/N. But may I ask why?” Y/N silently thanked her best friend for coming to the rescue, because for some reason she was just not able to think of anything to say to this stranger.

“My mate hasn’t stopped talking about her for the past month. But we were out of the country for a while, and even then he didn’t know where to start looking.” Caspar’s smile returned to his face.

“Your mate?” Y/N asked, tentatively. She racked her brain for anyone she may have met or gone out with in the past month, but Joe was the only guy who came to her mind. But she didn’t think it was him.

“Yeah…hey, there he is now!” Caspar walked forward, moving around the two friends.

Both turned to see who Caspar went to greet, and instead saw two other males. A tall skinny redhead with a kind smile on his face and another shorter guy with a familiar face.

“Joe?” Y/N blurted out. Standing before her was the man she had in her mind for the past month, the one who gave her a spark that she could still feel in her hand, the one who made her catch her breath as he walked towards her.

“Y/N?! Caspar wasn’t kidding…it is you…”  He was now standing in front of her. Not walking backwards, into a crowd of people, off to catch a flight. Not running into her because he wasn’t paying attention. But in front of her, just down the street from her work.

“So you’re the infamous Joe.” Y/B/F/N said, stepping closer to Joe and eyeing him. “Y/N described you to me, and your encounter.”

Y/N looked down at the pavement, blushing at her friends words. She didn’t want this perfect man to hear that she’d been describing him in perfect detail to her best friend.

She looked up again at his laugh, unable to help herself. His laugh just did something to her, and she couldn’t help but yearn to know him as a person.

“It’s okay,” Joe said, looking into Y/N’s eyes. “Ask any of my mates, and they’ll tell you how much I’ve talked about you for the past month. Why do you think Caspar recognized you?” Y/N smiled at Joe’s words, feeling beyond happy that he didn’t forget her.

“I’m glad he found me…even if it was kind of weird.” She replied.

“Me too. Uhm, do you maybe want to go grab a coffee?” He asked, watching as she cringed at the word coffee. “Or…maybe something else?”

“Something else is good…I just spent the past eight hours making coffee for other people.” Y/N explained to him, laughing lightly.

“That explains the face…and the smell of coffee I’m getting.” He reached for her hand, and held it in between the two. “But I would really like to take you somewhere, and get to know you. Instead of just running into you.”

“Yeah, I would like that too.“ She responded, lacing her fingers through his, not missing the spark that she had never forgotten through the past month.

Who knew crazy-busy airports were such good matchmakers?
