They said the reason Putin so heavily influenced the 2016 election was because he had a vendetta against Hillary due to her time as Secretary of State. Putin found Hillary to be ruthless, effective, intelligent, and far more aggressive than Obama. Putin was scared of Hillary. Too bad so many Americans find these qualities in women to be a turn-off [even far-left liberals]. There’s a reason they said Hillary ran the White House in the ‘90s. And we had a friggin’ surplus back then!! God damn America.
Sooo, I don’t really understand why is this not the top trending topic on Tumblr and I most certainly don’t understand why Trump’s ridiculous typo on Twitter got more attention than this, however today Donald J. Trump, the elected president of the almighty, blessed land of USA, the leader of the “free world” decided that the nation of 321,4 million people will withdraw from Paris agreement which deals with the greenhouse gas emissions on the global scale, putting USA in the same category together with Nicaragua and Syria, you know, that country with GDP per capita of 3300$ and the country deceased by civil war and emigration that it will take them 40-50 years to recover.
That being said, Donald J. R. Trump decided that the country of 321,4 million in general relatively wealthy people will no longer need to care about the environment and the greenhouse effect, thus putting the gain of the country’s business in front of the safety of the all people of the world, including his fellow citizens. However, he does not seem to understand that: “In order to fullfil my solemn duty to protect America and its citizens, the United States of America will withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord… We are getting out.”
How on Earth does he think that the higher income of one country values more than the health of his nation, health of the rest 7 billion people of the world and the well being of the global environment, flora and fauna, we might never know. However, today will be remembered as another disastrous decision made by the citizens of the United States of America.
If the cheeto troll becomes president I will cry. This isn’t a ironic or funny or relatable post, I’m being serious.
I don’t think you quite understand just HOW bad things will be if he becomes president. If you don’t want to vote do it anyways, it’s not just about you, people’s lives are at stake. It’s not just about people’s rights, people are gonna get hurt if he becomes president. If you are able to vote you NEED to, you need to make sure the next Hitler doesn’t become president.
For the love of everything that is good, don’t vote Trump, don’t vote third party, don’t not vote, VOTE HILLARY. She is our only hope, I don’t care if you don’t like her, I don’t care if you don’t want to vote for “the lesser of two evils” it’s not about you it’s about the effects of the result and if Hillary doesn’t win the effects will be devastating for every member of a minority, every member of the LGBT+ community, every woman, and so many others.
I am literally begging you, if you think you don’t need to vote you are so WRONG. Please, please, please, vote Hillary. I don’t want to live in a country ruled by someone like Trump, DON’T LET HIM WIN. VOTE HILLARY.
I’m just 17, my future is up to you. The future of kids like me is up to you, don’t fuck it up for us.
Michelle Obama’s final speech as first lady Friday was, on the surface, an innocuous event — it honored the national school counselor of the year.
But wrapped in a speech ostensibly about the importance of supporting kids’ dreams, Obama seemed to be making an emotional, implicit criticism of President-elect Donald Trump’s vision for America.
“This country belongs to you — to all of you, from every background and walk of life,” Obama said in a speech addressed to the young people of America. She singled out immigrants, the children of immigrants, children from poor families, and children of every faith, saying, “Our glorious diversity, our diversities of faiths and colors and creeds, that is not a threat to who we are,” she said. “It makes us who we are.”
Just as she did on the campaign trail, Obama — who became one of Hillary Clinton’s most effective surrogates — never mentioned Trump’s name. Her speech was ostensibly about the importance of education and the caring work school counselors do.
But, like her speech at the Democratic National Convention, which claimed the mantle of “family values” for Democrats, her final message from the White House conspicuously stressed the virtues of diversity in what seemed to be an implicit contrast to much of Trump’s rhetoric:
“Do not let anyone make you feel like you don’t matter, or you don’t have a place in our American story,” Obama said. “Because you do, and you have a right to be exactly who you are.”
“But I also want to be very clear: This right isn’t just handed to you. This right has to be earned every single day. You cannot take your freedoms for granted. Just like generations who have come before you, you have to do your part to preserve and protect those freedoms — and that starts right now, when you’re young.”
She ended her speech, tearfully, with a plea not to be afraid — a word she had used earlier in reference to the stress of college applications but which, at the end of the address, may have been speaking to much larger anxieties.
“I want our young people to know that they matter, that they belong,” Obama said. “So don’t be afraid. You hear me? Young people, don’t be afraid. Be focused. Be determined. Be hopeful. Be empowered. Empower yourselves with a good education. Then get out there and use that education to build a country worthy of your boundless promise. Lead by example with hope, never fear. And know that I will be with you, rooting for you and working to support you for the rest of my life.”
“Lose honorably” is a phrase I keep seeing thrown around by Trump supporters, as if the reason so many people are upset is because they were merely Hillary fans, and not because the outcome of this election has them literally fearing for their safety.
If you’re still not sure on whether you should support her, a vote for Hillary is a vote against Trump. There are no other options, a protest vote is a vote worth 0 each side, while a vote for Hillary is effectively a -1 for Trump. We’ve already seen a lack of young voters lead to Brexit, don’t let it lead to Trump too!
A couple that could take on the world – together. That’s why they are the only couple that almost reached the top TWICE. A couple that when combined, outmatches everyone in the game. They were going for ROUND 2. And this time, with the true mastermind at the top.
But when you play the game for too long, the number of enemies continues to climb.
Putin having it out for Hillary from her time as Secretary of State, believing she would be more ruthless than Obama. A woman who knew how to play chess better than he did. Something he knew first-hand and up close while Hillary was SoS. Putin saw her effectiveness. Hillary scared him. So he undermined our democracy and swung it for Trump.
Hillary also had to overcome years of slander, sexism, Bernie-mania, Comey, the Republicans, Fox News/talk radio, and finally, Donald Trump.
Amazingly, she still won the popular vote by MILLIONS and all three debates. A truly remarkable woman. Bill has known it for years.
Having the Clintons back in the White House truly terrified the GOP. And this picture shows us exactly why. They are made of steel and can get through anything – together.
People that argue “vote third part for your conscience” actually tell us a lot about their morals, because Johnson and Stein are both just as horrible people, it’s just that they don’t have the political or business power that Hillary and Donald have had for decades. Johnsons ideas would literally neuter the working class economically, possibly permanently. Jill is a raging bigot, she just hates people that rads and greens are okay with hating, like trans people or the mentally ill.
You’re not morally superior. In fact, you’re worse. Not only are you being a douche, but thanks to the spoiler effect, you might just fuck us all over with making Trump win.
“Well they should have picked better candidate. It’s not my fault if trump wins!!!!!!1!2!111”
Shut up. Shut. The fuck. Up.
That is some of the most entitled, irresponsible bullshit I’ve ever heard. You’re the damn voter! Your an autonomous person ffs! You know the spoiler effect is a thing that happens, you know trump might actually win, and yet you choose to put us all at risk. Fuck. You.
