Pumping iron while ill, and other health and fitness matters.
So, I’ve been seeing a personal trainer since October. Now that I’ve been back at a sedentary job for several years and my health has stabilized pretty well (random shingles outbreaks notwithstanding…) I’ve been mourning the loss of the physical strength and agility I had when working on farms. I realize I’ll never be 25 again (oh, how I’ve been missing my glory days at Heifer Project…) but it’s time to do what I can to get at least some of it back.
Ah, the good old days. Never gonna get that killer tan back as long as I’m in western WA, though….
