the hardy boys nancy drew mysteries

Come to think of it... a lot of great stories from our childhoods would make excellent tv shows!

A To Z Mysteries…

The Bailey School Kids

(This is a bit old buuut) Nancy Drew or The Hardy Boys

On the same “mystery” line maybe like idk more Scooby Doo??? Or this mystery series I adored called the Three Detectives (I think that’s what it was called)

LIVE ACTION MAGIC SCHOOL BUS (okay maybe not live action but updated animation would be nice)

The Secrets of Droon

ANIMAL ARK. Mmkay I’m getting a bit carried away but seriously I’d be so delighted if Animal Ark was brought back.

Uhhhh idk what else???

I love

The fact that The Blue and Gold only has two staff aka Betty and Jughead.

Blue for Jughead & Gold for Betty.

Just like their personalities!

Blue for brooding and emo and Gold for bright and bubbly.

They even stand perfectly aligned under the sign in this scene! ;)

And how Jughead easily demanded Doiley to come to the “Blue and Gold offices” like they’ve been running the publication for long.

And all the time they’re spending in that dusty gloomy office.

And the fact that everything looks ancient but they’re just continue using it.

They should call it the Blue & Gold Investigations hehe… where they solve the mysteries in Riverdale! Like Angel Investigations! xD

They are indeed the new Harper Lee and Truman Capote.

Or Lois Lane and Clark Kent.

Or Nancy Drew and one half of the Hardy Boys.

Frank (Ian Alexander) and Josie (Rowan Blanchard) are the only new kids in their freshman class, and quickly become best friends, bonding over their shared fascination with everything mystery related - Frank has done extensive research about famous unsolved cases for his tumblr blog, and Josie is an aspiring crime novelist, with a large collection of Agatha Christie books. With the help of their english teacher, Mr. Aoki (George Takei), they form a mystery club, but only one other student joins - a junior, Nancy (Amandla Stenberg). At first, the only mysteries they have to solve are things from Encyclopedia Brown novels. But when one of their classmates goes missing, and the club finds themselves caught up in it, they find that real mysteries are much more complicated than they could have imagined.

STILL wondering why no one called the hardys after nancy was arrested in ash. bess, george, and ned were just like: oh, our sleuth friend was arrested for a crime she didn’t commit. how about we (three people w really no mystery solving experience) try to solve the case without bringing in any outside help. it’s not like we know any other young detectives who would drop everything they’re doing and immediately fly to river heights if nancy needed them 🙄

When the teenage brothers Frank and Joe Hardy are accused of the murder of their father – a detective in the small resort town of Bayport – they must team up with the femme fatale nancy drew to prove their innocence (and find the real guilty party in the process) in a twisting, hard-boiled tale, complete
with double-crosses, deceit and dames. Inspired by new crime classics like Ed Brubaker’s Fatale and Darwyn Cooke’s Parker series, writer Anthony del Col (Assassin’s Creed, Kill Shakespeare) and artist Werther Dell’Edera (Batman: Detective Comics, House of Mystery) bring the iconic teen detectives into the modern age, and redefine noir for a new generation of readers!

I love the Nancy Drews games, don’t get me wrong, but wouldn’t it be awesome if herinteractive made a  Hardy Boys game? It would be so cool, the hardy boys had a lot of their own cool mysteries. In the game, maybe some parts you play as Frank and then other parts you play as Joe. Clue Crew, what do you think of this? Would you play a Hardy Boys game? I’m interested to hear your thoughts.

Nancy Drew

Nancy Drew calmly strolls up to the counter, orders a stiff drink, and relaxes in the corner while poring over what appears to be an ancient book. Twenty minutes later, the Hardy Boys run breathlessly into the shop, rejoicing at their physical fortitude and apparent genius at having solved yet another alliterative mystery: the Location of the Lost Latte Lagoon. The barista points over to Nancy Drew, who tips her glass to the two sweaty gentlemen and nonchalantly goes back to her book.
