Been playing Strangetown recently. For some reason I can’t exactly explain, Tank Grunt really grew on me this time around. On ageing up and leaving home, he came to the realisation that the last thing he actually wanted to do was to follow in his father’s footsteps and join the army.
No, Tank’s true talent lay in gardening, and he now devotes his life to making sure his vast array of tomato plants are the happiest damn tomato plants in the world, that his lemon trees got nothing to be bitter about. He’d live in a giant greenhouse if he could, but sadly that didn’t seem all too practical when he actually tried; freezing in the winter, hot as hell in the summer and more than a bit embarassing when it came to bathroom matters.
Hello people my name is Gemma and as you can see I’m too busy to even untangle by earbuds. I’m a vintage fashion lover, amateur vegan chef, art chaser, model and most of all a mum. My favourite place on this planet is the little love nest I built with my denim king. It’s where we read books, try out new vegan recipes and keep our little lime, Effy, who is definitely the queen of the castle. If you spot a tall couple walking around the park with the most beautiful little girl, all wearing matching outfits and a bunch of pets by their side, that’s most definitely us. If you want to hear funny stories or share some recipes hit me up on google hangouts. @ pouting.faun
I’ve had a pixie cut most of my adult life. It was easy and I didn’t have to think about it. On a lark, I decided to grow my hair out. It’s currently the longest it’s been since, like, middle school? I don’t know. It’s been ages.
Anyway! Now that I have hair, I’m trying to figure out what to do with it. It’s not easy.
Today, I bought this hair thing at the Maryland Renaissance Festival.
I just figured out that I could, like, twist my hair up and stab the stick through it and the hair doodad. It stayed up. It looked cute. The sound that came out of my mouth was a nigh inhuman squeak of excitement.
It just made me so happy that I could finally add a cute hairstyle to my repertoire that was easy and not a ponytail variation. It’s the little things sometimes. I just wanted to share that with you.
