Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Blaumeise’ is a vigorous deciduous shrub with dark green leaves which exhibit autumn colours, and have flattened flower heads with up to 15 large, lilac-blue florets in mid and late summer. Here the shrub was the star of the Japanese inspired garden at the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show.

Dianthus ‘Mojito’ (garden pink) produces masses of large white, scented single flowers, with serrated edges and unusual lime green eyes, throughout summer. The plants need to grow in full sun, with a well-drained soil, they reach about 30cm high. The display of plants at the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show also include some Dianthus cup-cakes!
