The Signs As Aliens

Aries: Strong, fierce aliens with skin in various shades of red. They live on a desert planet in large adobe castles with their extended family clan. Known to be very protective, these aliens often battle other clans who threaten the safety of their families and are skilled warriors. However, they are very generous and family oriented during times of peace

Taurus: Small, entrancing aliens with flowing green hair and camouflaged bodies to blend into their thickly forested planet. Animal life is abundant and diverse, with many strange species that these aliens have tamed and live alongside as equals. These aliens are gifted with the ability to communicate with all types of life on their planet, flora and fauna

Gemini: Clever, winged aliens with small bodies that adapt easily to the many climates of their planet. Instead of four seasons, these aliens are accustomed to twelve and live in treetops or on mountainsides. Visitors find this species of alien to be tricky but kind-spirited, often telling riddles and playing pranks on any other species of extraterrestrials passing through their planet

Cancer: Kind, quiet aliens who live in large communities scattered across their planet, which is covered in pink vines and blue clouds that rain a sweet smelling substance similar to water but does not make the surface of the planet wet almost constantly. Small and delicate in stature, these aliens are tougher than they look and often go on dangerous missions throughout the galaxy to deliver care packages to planets in need

Leo: Regal aliens with banded gold and pale pink skin and wide, bright green eyes. They live on a warm, sunny planet covered in white sand, palm trees, and cool, crystal-clear streams. Proud and sophisticated, these aliens live in jewel-studded palaces and welcome visitors to their planet. But be warned - enemies of these aliens face certain death at the jaws of vicious, huge feline creatures that roam the planet and only obey the command of native aliens

Virgo: These aliens have deep purplish skin and dark, shimmering hair. They live on a planet with a mild climate and a permanent state of nighttime, which has led them to become gifted astronomers. Not only do they map stars and constellations visible from their home planet, these aliens also send search parties to other planets to investigate and map every area they can possibly explore. They are also known for their great architectural feats. Quiet and private, these aliens only communicate telepathically

Libra: Elegant aliens with lavender skin and silver hair laced with pearls. Though small, their planet is covered in blue grass and beautiful, roofless marble structures so the sky, which remains clear and starry even in the daytime, is always visible. Known for making a pink beverage similar to wine, these aliens are accepting of most extraterrestrial visitors and very sociable

Scorpio: Reptilian aliens with iridescent red, dark blue, or black scales. They live mostly underwater on a planet that is entirely ocean except for chains of lava rock islands created by active volcanoes. Known to be very mysterious, these aliens rarely make contact with extraterrestrials from other planets and seem to communicate in a way that is impossible for any other alien species to decode

Sagittarius: Daring and adventurous, these aliens come in all shapes, colors, and sizes and rarely stay on one planet for long and instead prefer to venture in groups from one planet to another. They are usually welcomed by other alien species, but sometimes find that trouble has a way of following them wherever they go and end up banished. Because of their fearless nature, banishment does not stop these aliens from returning to some planets which gives them a reputation as outlaws

Capricorn: Tall, steely gray aliens with stunning dark eyes. They live on a completely frozen planet that is always covered in snow, but beneath the snowy surface they built a warm network of bright tunnels and grand rooms with high, decorated ceilings. Although private by nature, these aliens have close relationships with family and friends within their underground community. With their sharp intellect, they have formed one of the most technologically advanced alien societies in the universe

Aquarius: Pale blue or green aliens who wander tirelessly across their planet covered in tall orange grass and stormy lakes filled with strange aquatic creatures. Generally loners, they are never spotted in groups larger than three or four but are very devoted to their companions if they have any. These aliens are skilled magicians and most species of extraterrestrials are wary of venturing to their planet because of their strange powers

Pisces: Silver and sky blue aliens with sleek, shimmering bodies. They live on a planet that is entirely covered with a steaming liquid similar to water, but the steam condenses into a layer of purplish, cloud-like fluff that only this species of alien can live on. They speak in a musical tongue and are known to be extraordinary fortune tellers and clairvoyants

blueoceancall  asked:

If you're still taking requests, lance falling through a frozen over lake and become stuck while his fellow paladins try desperately to break the ice?

The fall had been hard, Shiro doubted that if the planets surface hadn’t been covered in a thick blanket of snow he would of been killed.
He sat up wincing with every movement from his aching muscles.
The sky above was still filled with the raging storm that had caused them to crash in the first place.
Shiro and Lance had been sent on a recon mission on a frozen planet surrounded by storms.
Allura had suggested that with the black lions size and connection to the air the two should be able to reach the surface and try to find any signs of life.
However while flying down Black had been struck by lightning causing her to eject the two Paladins to save them from electrocution.
Shiro had managed to slow his fall with his thruster pack, but through all the tumbling he had lost sight of Black.
And more importantly Lance.
“Lance do you copy?” Shiro asked into his com only getting static for a reply.
“Great.” He sighed as he stood up with a groan and began to walk up the snowy ridge, hoping that the higher ground would provide him a better view.
The hike was long and difficult thanks to how powdery the snow was beneath his feet. However despite the challenge, Shiro reached the top after only half and hour.
The view was simply stunning. Like a scene from a Christmas card.
The land was nothing but untouched pure white snow, the trees glistening with frost.
There was a large frozen lake stretching out beneath him reflecting the dark grey storm clouds above like a giant mirror.
There was a dark lump ruining the perfect scene. Shiro squinted trying to figure out exactly what it was.
Then he saw the mound move and Shiro’s eyes widened at the sight of the familiar dark blue against white armour.
“Lance!”
He yelled skidding down the ridge to get to the edge of the lake.
There was already a trail suggesting Lance had fortunately hit the show and only fell down onto the lake after he landed.
Shiro chose not to think about what could of happened if the boy had hit the hard ice.
“Lance!” Shiro yelled again as he stood at the edge.
He was just out of reach lying face down.
Slowly Lance began to look up. His arm was hanging limply by his side and Shiro knew just from looking at it that his shoulder was dislocated.
“H-hey Shiro.” He tried to smile but it was clear to Shiro that he was in pain.
“Hand on buddy I’m coming for you.”
Shiro stepped onto the ice only for cracks to appear beneath his feet. He was too heavy.
“Lance look at me.” Shiro commanded and the boy obliged.
“I need you to come a little closer, if I go out there the ice could break.”
Lance nodded and tried to stand up. Shiro watched the ice nervously as Lance slowly, agonisingly slowly made his way over.
Just a little closer.
When Lance was less then a fingers length away the ice suddenly gave in.
All Shiro could do was watch as Lance’s expression morphed into that of horrified surprise as he plummeted into the dark icy water.
“LANCE!” Shiro screamed scanning where he had fallen for any signs of the blue paladin.
He spotted the blue armour a little away from the hole.
Ignoring the danger Shiro ran to him powering up his prosthetic and plunging it into the ice.
It took far too long to get the blue paladin out of the water and back on solid land.
By some miracle Black was lying on her side just a little away providing some shelter from the bitter wind.
“Lance buddy?” Shiro asked after stripping Lance down and bundling him up in the Altean heated blankets Allura had provided them with.
Lance seemed dead to the world. His eyes closed and his skin a sickly grey colour.
However what really worried Shiro was that he just wasn’t shivering.
Shiro bit his lip thinking back to his days of survival training at the Garrison.
If he wanted to avoid hypothermia Lance needed to be warmed up, they best way to do that was with body heat.
Shiro quickly pulled off his armour and joined Lance under the blanket pulling him into his arms.
He gasped at the sheer cold that was radiating off him. It made Shiro’s skin ache, he didn’t want to imagine how Lance must feel.
Biting his lip Shiro began to try and rub heat back into Lance’s frozen limbs.
Black had informed him that the others were on their way in the castle ship after Black had sent out a distress signal when her paladin had returned with her sisters cub so still and cold.
All Shiro could do was wait and hope.
Eventually Lance began to shiver and not long after he opened his eyes whispering a weak “Shiro?”
Shiro released a breath he hadn’t even realised he had been holding.
“Yeah I’m hear kiddo, don’t worry the others are on their way.
“M'cold” he whimpered cuddling into Shiro.
“I know, nearly gave me a heart attack when you fell through the ice, I didn’t think I was going to be able to find you.”
“Glad you did, don’t like the cold.”
Shiro chuckled wrapping the blankets around the blue paladin.
“Home was always warm, hated winter at the Garrison since I’d never had anything like it before.”
Shiro nodded glad Lance was a bit more talkative.
“Well you’ll be warm again soon, I promise.”
“Not going to be warm like home though. Not warm like my mamas hugs.” Lance mumbled.
Shiro could only hold him a little tighter not sure what to say to make him feel better.
An hour later they were picked up by the others with Lance placed into a pod after putting his arm back into its socket.
They got lucky that Lance managed to avoid hypothermia. But they were close.
Too close.
When he came out of the pod Lance was laid up in bed for a few days with a cold, Shiro never left his side until he was back to his normal jokester self.
However even when he was better Shiro just couldn’t get rid of the images of pulling Lance’s limp body from the lake from his mind.

Part 1, 2, 3, 4

I don’t know about everyone else, but I think these need way more publicity. THEY ARE SO COOL. They were made by Kasami-Sensei, and are called “The Walking Disney”

I saw this wonderful post, and I thought I’d make an Italian version! I included all the videos I could find that had both the Italian lyrics and their English translation; there’s a noticeable gap between older movies and newer ones (apparently songs from the sixties to the nineties get less attention), but I plan on translating some of the missing ones whenever I have the time :)

Biancaneve e i Sette Nani [Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs] (1937)

Pinocchio (1940)

Cenerentola [Cinderella] (1950)

Alice Nel Paese delle Meraviglie [Alice in Wonderland] (1951)

La Sirenetta [The Little Mermaid] (1989)

La Bella e La Bestia [Beauty and The Beast] (1991)

Aladdin (1992)

Il Re Leone [Lion King] (1994)

Pocahontas (1995)

Il Gobbo di Notre-Dame [The Hunchback of Notre-Dame] (1996)

Hercules (1997)

Mulan (1998)

Tarzan (1999)

Il Pianeta del Tesoro [Treasure Planet] (2002)

Rapunzel - L’Intreccio della Torre [Tangled] (2010)

Frozen - Il Regno di Ghiaccio (2013)

It’s been three years since “Rise of the Guardians”, six years since “The Princess and the Frog”, five years since “Toy Story 3”, thirteen years since both “Treasure Planet” and “Lilo & Stitch”, seventeen years since “Mulan”, and eighteen years since “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”. Yet nobody says to stop talking about them; only that people need to shut up about “Frozen” because it’s been TWO years. Incidentally, by that same logic everyone has one more year to sing the praises of “Big Hero 6”.

You Are My Light - Star Wars

“Will you do a part two to control your feelings?”

“Could you do a “Control your feelings” part 2? It was so good!!!”

THIS IS A SEQUEL TO CONTROL YOUR FEELINGS WHICH YOU CAN READ HERE

Obi-Wan stared through the glass at the two babies as they slept. Luke and Leia. He folded his arms and sighed, his mind overrun with a storm of emotion. He shut his eyes and attempted to calm the storm, to focus his mind. He stood in his silent meditation when a voice broke the silence.

“Sleep you need, Obi-Wan.” A small green figure said, hobbling into the hallway. Obi-Wan opened his eyes, but did not turn. It had already been decided to split the babies up. Obi-Wan himself would take Luke to his family on Tatooine when the babies were medically able to travel. Until then…he didn’t know what to do. He had lost everything. The Jedi were all but gone. Anakin was gone. He struggled to shake both the images of the dead Jedi in the temple and the fight on Mustafar from his mind.

“I don’t believe I will find relief in sleep.”

Yoda walked closer.
