We have kitchen witches but why does no one say anything about bathroom witches?

- blending oils to make magical baths
- home made enchanted bubble bath and bath bombs
- drawing sigils on soap and washing them away/on to your body
- drawing sigils in the condensation on the mirror
- casting glamour spells in the mirror
- reciting spells whist combing your hair
- washing the negativity away in the shower
- lighting spell candles while you’re in the bath
- invoking the elements- bath/shower for water, candle for fire, open window and/or wind chimes for air, bath salts for earth
- putting some sea salt in your bath to protect and draw out negativity
- using home, herbal remedies on your hair and skin
- enchanting a home made skin scrub to ritually cleanse and purify
- writing someone’s name who’s wronged you on a piece of toilet paper… 😏

“Now I’m pacing back and forth,
Wishing you were at my door.”

Cleaning, Witchy Style

Floor Washes are traditionally used in Hoodoo practices for cleansing, blessing, and enchanting a home, And include a number of herbs for specific desires. Today, I’ll show you my recipe for cleansing, protecting and purifying my home. This is an excellent way to use the herbs you already have, and prolong their use. It’s also a great alternative to using herb smoke if you are unable to do so.

To make this particular floor wash you will need:

  • 1 clean glass Mason Jar (Plastic Containers are fine, Just make sure its air tight!)
  • Enough White Vinegar to fill your jar half way

And a pinch of the following herbs (You don’t need all all of them)

  • Chamomile Flowers
  • Hibiscus Flowers {For Color (personal Preference)}
  • Angelica Root
  • Jasmine Flowers
  • Cinnamon Chips
  • Lavender Buds
  • Spearmint Leaves
  • Rue
  • Lemon Grass
  • Sage
  • Juniper

(You can use any herbs that you do have, The most important thing is your intention)

Now add your herbs to the Vinegar, And before you seal the jar, Take a minute to think of your intention. Feel it, and Push it into your jar for that added “OOMPH”. Next, Seal it up and and shake vigorously. You really want your herbs to move around and release their energy. Let your mixture sit for a minimum of 4 weeks. You want this to be strong. Shake daily, While pushing your energy and intent into the bottle. Strain, and Done.

- When Moping -

Personally I recommend using about ¼ of a cup of your mixture per gallon of moping Water, But that part is up to you.

You can also add a small amount of your mixture to a spritzer bottle with Water, and use it as a purifying mist.

Happy Cleaning Witches!

(Disclaimer: Keep in mind that certain herbs can stain so always be careful and test a small discreet spot before mopping)
