Technically it was yesterday but I only read the email this morning.
So happy belated birthday to my web-baby.
Thanks so much to everyone that takes time out of their day to read my posts. Hopefully you’ve had a few laughs! I look forward to sharing more of my parenting adventures/anecdotes/random thoughts and bad poetry with you.
My friend really loves Smarties so I figured I’d give them one last chance.
This time I bought a 4 pack. Guess what happened?
Box #1 4 blue ones
Box #2 4 blue ones
Box #3 5 blue ones
Box #4 6 blue ones
Seems like something is up. So I wrote back to Nestle Canada. 1 week went by and no response. So I called them up.
I have never in my life , dealt with a company that has such horrible customer service. The CSR was rude and apathetic. When I explained my situation she cut me off. “Its all automatic, we can’t control it. There is no guarantee that you get any of the advertised colours”. I explained that I had written a letter and all she cared about was the reference number. Then she told me there was nothing she could do. Normally they respond to emails within 24 hours, unless it’s with a supervisor.
Then she informed me that since I called and got my answer I wouldn’t get a written response. She offered to have a supervisor call me back. The supervisor called back, She apologized for the fact that nobody appologized. She then reiterated the fact that nothing can be done. She will send it off to quality control so they can look into the matter.
OK it`s official no more Smarties for me. Nestle Canada does not care about it`s customers. Screw them! They are not going to get any more money from me. M&M’s will now be the candy of choice.
I’d like to think that this is what their customer service department looks like :)
