the cycle is complete

Following his first-inning single, a triple in the third, and a fifth frame two-bagger, George Brett hits a leadoff homer in the seventh to complete the cycle in the Royals’ 6-1 victory over Toronto at the Sky Dome. The Kansas City third baseman, who will retire with a lifetime .305 batting average, also accomplished the rare feat against Baltimore in 1979.

OKAYOKAYOKAY B U T Aliens that only have mates to reproduce. Once every couple of moons they find their partner, do the do, then find a completely different one the next cycle. Imagine these aliens being confused about the human concept of marriage - “you stay with them for life?“ - and not understanding that while yes, Intaquk, you are very attractive I am married so no I will not be your mate this season. Imagine Valentines Day rolling around and one of a crews humans is feeling sad and the aliens are like “yo r u okay should we feed u or something is this natrual” and the human “just kinda bummed i dont have a valentines” and after a bit of research of the holiday one of the aliens gets down on one knee and offers the human a small rock like “I heard these..proposals are common in human culture?” AND THE HUMAN JUST STARTS SMILING AND TAKES THE PEBBLE LIKE ‘thank you fruiyo’ AND THE OTHER HUMANS AROUND START GUSHING OVER HOW ADORABLE THE SCENE WAS. THE ALIENS PICK UP ON HOW THESE PROPOSALS MAKE THE HUMANS ELATED, THEREFORE SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE ARE PROPOSED TO WITHIN THE MONTH A N D

Grounding Masterpost 🌱

GROUNDING— To ground is an exercise that is used to clear and release excess energy, as well as to renew the energies within oneself and clear out the old. Traditionally done by envisioning roots stretching out from oneself into the ground, like a tree, and connecting through them to the earth. However, it can be done with simple visualization, and does not need to include nature, as long as the cycling of energy is completed.

grounding can be a long focused ritual, it can be a simple few movements. there are a variety of ways to ground besides these guided methods listed, it can be done in almost any way that cycles new energy in and old energy out.

Solar System: Things to Know This Week

Our solar system is a jewel box filled with a glittering variety of beautiful worlds–and not all of them are planets. This week, we present our solar system’s most marvelous moons.

1. Weird Weather: Titan

Saturn’s hazy moon Titan is larger than Mercury, but its size is not the only way it’s like a planet. Titan has a thick atmosphere, complete with its own “water cycle” – except that it’s way too cold on Titan for liquid water. Instead, rains of liquid hydrocarbons like ethane and methane fall onto icy mountains, run into rivers, and gather into great seas. Our Cassini spacecraft mapped the methane seas with radar, and its cameras even caught a glimpse of sunlight reflecting off the seas’ surface. 2. Icy Giant: Ganymede

Jupiter’s moon Ganymede is the largest in the solar system. It’s bigger than Mercury and Pluto, and three-quarters the size of Mars. It’s also the only moon known to have its own magnetic field. Details: solarsystem.nasa.gov/planets/ganymede/indepth

3. Retrograde Rebel: Triton

Triton is Neptune’s largest moon, and the only one in the solar system to orbit in the opposite direction of its planet’s rotation, a retrograde orbit. It may have been captured from the Kuiper Belt, where Pluto orbits. Despite the frigid temperatures there, Triton has cryovolcanic activity – frozen nitrogen sometimes sublimates directly to gas and erupts from geysers on the surface. More on Triton: solarsystem.nasa.gov/planets/triton/indepth

4. Cold Faithful: Enceladus

The most famous geysers in our solar system (outside of those on Earth) belong to Saturn’s moon Enceladus. It’s a small, icy body, but Cassini revealed this world to be one of the solar system’s most scientifically interesting destinations. Geyser-like jets spew water vapor and ice particles from an underground ocean beneath the icy crust of Enceladus. With its global ocean, unique chemistry and internal heat, Enceladus has become a promising lead in our search for worlds where life could exist. Get the details: saturn.jpl.nasa.gov/science/enceladus/

5. Volcano World: Io

Jupiter’s moon Io is subjected to tremendous gravitational forces that cause its surface to bulge up and down by as much as 330 feet (100 m). The result? Io is the most volcanically active body in the Solar System, with hundreds of volcanoes, some erupting lava fountains dozens of miles high. More on Io’s volcanoes: solarsystem.nasa.gov/planets/io/indepth

6. Yin and Yang Moon: Iapetus

When Giovanni Cassini discovered Iapetus in 1671, he observed that one side of this moon of Saturn was bright and the other dark. He noted that he could only see Iapetus on the west side of Saturn, and correctly concluded that Iapetus had one side much darker than the other side. Why? Three centuries later, the Cassini spacecraft solved the puzzle. Dark, reddish dust in Iapetus’s orbital path is swept up and lands on the leading face of the moon. The dark areas absorb energy and become warmer, while uncontaminated areas remain cooler. Learn more: saturn.jpl.nasa.gov/news/2892/cassini-10-years-at-saturn-top-10-discoveries/#nine

7. A Double World: Charon and Pluto

At half the size of Pluto, Charon is the largest of Pluto’s moons and the largest known satellite relative to its parent body. The moon is so big compared to Pluto that Pluto and Charon are sometimes referred to as a double planet system. Charon’s orbit around Pluto takes 6.4 Earth days, and one Pluto rotation (a Pluto day) takes 6.4 Earth days. So from Pluto’s point of view Charon neither rises nor sets, but hovers over the same spot on Pluto’s surface, and the same side of Charon always faces Pluto. 8. “Death Star” Moon: Mimas

Saturn’s moon Mimas has one feature that draws more attention than any other: the crater Herschel, which formed in an impact that nearly shattered the little world. Herschel gives Mimas a distinctive look that prompts an oft-repeated joke. But, yes, it’s a moon. More: olarsystem.nasa.gov/planets/mimas

9. Don’t Be Afraid, It’s Just Phobos

In mythology, Mars is a the god of war, so it’s fitting that its two small moons are called Phobos, “fear,” and Deimos, “terror.” Our Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter caught this look at Phobos, which is roughly 17 miles (27 km) wide. In recent years, NASA scientists have come to think that Phobos will be torn apart by its host planet’s gravity. Details: www.nasa.gov/feature/goddard/phobos-is-falling-apart

10. The Moon We Know Best

Although decades have passed since astronauts last set foot on its surface, Earth’s moon is far from abandoned. Several robotic missions have continued the exploration. For example, this stunning view of the moon’s famous Tycho crater was captured by our Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, which continues to map the surface in fine detail today. This was the bargain he had made. And in return, he could feel Cabeswater in him. Cabeswater couldn’t offer him eyes or hands. But it was something else.

Something he wanted to name life or soul or knowledge.
It was an old sort of power.

🔮Tarotscopes🔮 June 2017

Aries

Aries have been participating in some self-deprecating thoughts lately, but being at war with yourself will only make your journey more difficult. Instead of allowing yourself to adopt this ‘woe is me’ attitude, choose to see the small gifts in your life as a wonderful stroke of good luck. Sometimes things don’t happen for a reason, but that does not mean it’s necessary to bully yourself in the process.

 Taurus

You need to trust in the process and trust in yourself. Your own self-doubt is what is currently holding you back. Let go of the feeling of being ‘stuck’ or not knowing where you are going to go from here and trust that you are exactly where you are supposed to be at this very moment. You are where you are for a reason.

Gemini

You are currently experiencing a change of perspective when it comes to where you want to direct your life and how you are going to live it from this day forward. This birthday in particular marks the time that you have chosen to do something different with your life, because what you have going at the moment is no longer cutting it for you. In order to change that, have the courage to follow your dreams and passions at this time, as they will direct you towards a more fulfilling future.

Cancer

Cancerians can expect a win this month! The Universe is currently conspiring and working in your favour. Stay humble, keep your head down, and continue to do what it is that you are meant to do at the moment. As long as you stick to your responsibilities, the Universe will come in and clear out any outside obstacles. The giving nature of Cancerian has been noticed and you will soon be rewarded.

Leo

Last month, you’ve probably experienced some conflict with those around you. This month you will be getting a handle on those emotions that have resulted from that aggravation and will realise that you are better off holding those people at arms length. Their energy no longer serves you and in order to save yourself it is best to keep them at a safe distance.

Virgo

Virgos have been contemplating new work and monetary possibilities. If you’ve been asking yourself if you should start that new venture, it is time to start it! If you’ve been applying for a new job, you will get it!

Libra

Phew! Talk about an emotional time for Libra! Currently, you are your own worst enemy and you’re killing yourself with all of your negative talk and thoughts concerning yourself. Nothing productive is going to get done this month if you decide to continue down this road. Trust in your intuition and allow that to lead you out of this emotionally dark time. You are choosing to see the glass as half empty instead of half full.

Scorpio

You are having a hard time trying to decide where you are going at the moment. You don’t know which way is up and which way is down or if you should go left or if you should right. The problem with being in this headspace is that we don’t allow ourselves to see any opportunities that may be presented to us. Adapt a more positive approach and watch the Universe sprinkle some magic into your life.

Sagittarius

You’re going to be challenged this month, whether it is a co-worker trying to make you look bad in front of your boss, or someone that is feeling particularly brave and demonstrates this by being slick with their mouth leaving you feeling like, “Oh! They tried it!” Maintain your integrity by standing firm in your truth. You are better than that negativity.

Capricorn

Burdening yourself with too many commitments and responsibilities is not the right way to chase after your goals. In fact, it is the least effective way to get where it is you want to be. Take the time this month to reprioritise and decide what is really necessary to get you to the end.

Aquarius

Aquarians can expect a harmonious time this month. You’ve got all of the right energies working in your favour at the moment, so if there is anything you desperately want to do or accomplish, now is the time to get on it! You’ve got all of the tools you need to kick some ass, so trust your gut instinct and have the courage to succeed.

Pisces

You are now turning the page on the last chapter of your life and moving forward. You’ve had times that were good and this makes you question if you are actually ready for new experiences; however, the cycle has completed and it is now time to move on. How are you going to write this next chapter of your life?

Pthumeru Ihyll was the title of both the Phumerian monarch and its capital.
This reveals that while early Pthumerians were mere humble guardians
of the slumbering Great Ones, their descendants felt entitled to name themselves a leader.

The old labyrinth was carved out by the Pthumerians, superhuman beings that are said to have unlocked the wisdom of the eldritch Truth.

The Pthumerian monarch was traditionally a woman who assumed a name with classical roots.

“Make It So” - A Full Moon Tarot Spread

I explicitly made this a larger spread - ten cards to show completion. The Full Moon is about manifestation; it’s about releasing that which no longer serves you so you can turn around, use your magic, and create your own reality from the lessons you’ve learned - completing the cycle that began with intentions set during the new moon.

Here are the card positions:

1. Where you stand physically
2. Where you stand emotionally
3. Where you stand spiritually
4. What to release
5. How to really let it go
6. What to manifest physically
7. What to manifest emotionally
8. What to manifest spiritually
9. How you will grow
10. The magic you put out there

Please enjoy this spread, and please do not forget to credit me if you use it (and don’t steal, of course). Now, onward!
