picking up some small pebbles, he dropped them into the pitcher one by one.
with each pebble the water rose a little higher until- at last!
it was near enough so he could drink.

For my color illustration class we had to illustrate a sentence to make a story. It’s hard to explain but each panel had to emphasize one part of the sentence through value or saturation or detail or whatever.

So I decided to do mine based off the Aesop’s Fable of “The Crow and the Pitcher,” and my sentence is “The crow filled the pitcher with rocks to get the water.”
