Each day, I draw at least two A4 pages of comics. It’s a real pain in the ass to scan these at home, so today on my lunch break I grabbed one at random and scanned it on a photocopier. The quality’s not great, but then it’s a sketchbook comic, and I was only going to do simple flatting colors on it, anyway.

I’m running the Chicago marathon on Sunday, but this comic should not be taken to read that running is some be-all and end-all cure for the suffering quagmire of the self. That’s lazy exercise rah-rah thinking. I just felt like drawing Garfield running back in the middle of September.

Sorry if some of the lettering is hard to read – these are sketchbooks and the main thing is that I know what they say.
