the christmas tree i'm not sure but it was so pretty

lorelailuke  asked:

rucas for the ship thing :)

AHHH nice thank you hilde i was hoping someone would ask rucas, i can always count on you

  • who hogs the duvet: riley fjdkaf riley is such a snuggle bug, that she always always wraps herself up in the blankets, and lucas would be annoyed, but riley always cuddles herself up next to him when she’s all wrapped up in the blankets, and she’s just so darn cute about it, he can’t be mad. so he just wraps his arms around her and uses her body heat to keep him warm.
  • who texts/rings to check how their day is going: both of them, but riley does it far more often. i’m diving a little more into hc territory and @friarlucas‘s fic, but this happens especially during junior-senior year of high school when things aren’t Great with lucas, so riley is always just texting him, asking him how he is and giving him little encouragements to get through the day.
  • who’s the most creative when it comes to gifts: riley! lucas and riley are both hella pro gift givers, and always give each other very sentimental things that usually make the other one cry, but riley’s are always out of left field and lucas never, never sees them coming so when she gives them to him he’s like “????? i love you ????? how did you do this?????”
  • who gets up first in the morning: riley, lucas doesn’t get up that much after her, but riley usually is awake with the sun and she usually spends those early morning minutes before lucas is awake just Admiring him while he sleeps, because he looks so at peace. most of the time she’ll end up like stroking his face while he’s asleep which eventually ends up waking him up.
  • who suggests new things in bed: fdjkaf probably riley. it’s always kind of sheepish too, like she’s always a little embarrassed about it, but her and maya are always reading cosmo and what not when they’re together and riley will see stuff and be like “huh….that’s……something” and it will take her like a week to finally bring it up to lucas but he’s always super cool about trying it, luckily at this point if they try something and it doesn’t work, they’ll just end up collapsed on each other in laughter. sometimes lucas almost never suggests things because he always gets worried about riley’s comfort, so he’s always afraid to make her uncomfortable.
  • who cries at movies: riley cries at pretty much every movie her and lucas have ever seen, like she cried during some stupid comedy movie that they saw together and lucas was like “riley are you ok what happened” but that’s just bc riley is one of those sympathetic cries so if someone even lOOKS upset in a movie, she’s already in tears. however, whenever lucas and riley watch a movie where an animal gets hurts, lucas will  have to subtly wipe the tears from his eyes. they also both cry at disney movies, always.
  • who gives unprompted massages: this is the same as i said in my zucas one, but lucas. with his fidgety hands, he’s always looking for something to do with them, and they almost always are doing Something relating to riley, whether that be braiding her hair or unbuttoning and buttoning up a shirt that she’s wearing, but one day while they’re studying, she casually mentions that she slept on her neck wrong and keeps moving it, so he just starts giving her a message, and it’s a win win situation, it gives lucas something to do with his hands and he gives really good messages to they always make riley feel better.
  • who fusses over the other when they’re sick: they are both extremely, extremely guilty of this. both of them get fussy and jump into nurse mode when the other one in sick, the biggest difference is that when riley is sick, she lives for lucas taking care of her and he’s so good at it, always making her soup and bringing her medicine and making sure she always has a cold washcloth on her forehead and she loves it and it always makes her feel better to have him take care of her, whereas lucas gets VERY stubborn when he’s sick and for the first day he refuses to let riley take of care of him because “he’s fine!!” but then when he gets too weak to protest, riley is finally able to treat him with the same care that he treats her with when she’s sick.
  • who gets jealous easiest: while riley has been prone to get jealous, lucas gets jealous a little more easily, mainly because he’s So scared of losing riley that it comes out more than he wishes it would. also lucas’ jealousy is usually completely impulsive and he’ll feel it even though he knows he has no reason to. this is something that really only happens in the earlier stages of their relationship, by the time they’ve been together for a while, they get much more confident in their relationship.
  • who has the most embarrassing taste in music: lucas ajfkdaf lucas doesn’t think that he has embarrassing taste in music, but sometimes one of his songs will come on shuffle when they’re studying together and lucas will start humming or singing to himself and it’s some country song or weird 80s song that riley has never heard and she’ll just look at him across the room, and when he sees her looking at him, he’ll just start singing louder and getting more into it before riley just bursts into laughter and lucas is giving her a full on performance while trying to keep his own laughter in check because they’re NERDS
  • who collects something unusual: while neither one of them have necessary unusual collections, they both keep pretty much EVERYTHING from their relationship. like riley has a box under her bed that has notes that lucas has written her, the riley sign he made during rah rah, movie ticket stubs, funny little drawings that maya has drawn of her and lucas, or that lucas has made for her, his valentine’s day cards, etc and lucas has a drawer in his desk that’s the “riley drawer” where the orange leaf sits, along with the little name tag she made him in sneak attack and just everything she’s ever given him or things that remind him of her. they both just have everything from their relationship, they’re hella sentimental.
  • who takes the longest to get ready: riley, while lucas is extremely fussy with his own appearance, riley takes showers every morning and always takes a while to pick out her outfit, she doesn’t take all too long, but she takes a little bit longer than lucas, especially because she’s usually still getting herself ready when she fixes lucas’ hair and shirt the way she knows he likes them and then once riley has fixed his shirt and hair, lucas doesn’t touch it so then he just has a wait a couple more minutes for riley to finish up getting herself ready. he doesn’t mind though, because he loves watching her get ready in the morning.
  • who is the most tidy and organised: neither one of them are “unorganized” per se, but lucas is definitely the more organized one of the two of them. he gets very weird about things being too out of order and it almost surprises riley how Clean his room is when she sees it for the first time. riley doesn’t let her room or locker get too messy, but if something is out of place, she doesn’t bother fixing it right away, unlike lucas, who kind of always needs things to be in their rightful place.
  • who gets most excited about the holidays: riley! lucas doesn’t dislike christmas, but it was never a favorite holiday of his (especially with his weird kind of disconnected family), whereas riley has always loved it. she loves decorating their apartment and usually sets aside the first saturday in december for her and lucas to decorate together, they both make sure they take the day off, get a tree, make cookies so on and so fourth. lucas grows to love christmas as him and riley continue their relationship, but his excitement level never really competes with riley’s.
  • who is the big spoon/little spoon: i’ve answered this before, but oH MAN lucas is almost always the big spoon, he’s very Protective of riley and while he’s well aware that she can take care of herself and doesn’t need his protection, he worries about her sometimes so when he’s the big spoon and he can just hold her in his arms, he feels at Peace because he knows that she’s safe. however, when things get Hard for lucas later in high school, sometimes riley is the big spoon and lucas likes it because riley feels like home and it makes him feel so much better.
  • who gets most competitive when playing games and/or sports: riley! riley is very competitive sometimes (she gets that from her mother), and while she never gets particular competitive when she’s playing a game with lucas, she gets competitive on behalf of lucas, more than once she’s been talked to by the baseball coach for getting too aggressive from the sidelines of his baseball games and yelling at the refs. this only becomes worse when they have children and their children are involved in activities.
  • who starts the most arguments: riley, however, it’s never because she actually wants to argue with him about something. they hardly ever argue to begin with, but sometimes if riley really needs him to Hear something, she’ll get really frustrated and just kind of immediately jump to the argumentative place. she hates arguing with him and fighting about things, but sometimes it’s the only thing that seems to work.  let it be known though, this only happens like FOUR times their entire lives bc they both hate fighting and are v v good at communication, so they can usually talk through their issues.
  • who suggests that they buy a pet: ok so here’s the thing, lucas is a vet so he LOVES animals and he’s down with getting a pet, but he wants him and riley to do it together, and they both are just always busy so they don’t get a chance to go to the shelter together, however, one day while lucas is at the clinic or in his internship, riley happens to stop by the shelter, not because she’s going to ADOPT but just to look, but then she meets the absolute cutest little dog in the entire world and he’s a puppy and needs a home and she just can’t say no, she she adopts him right there on impulse, names him pluto and then surprises lucas when he gets home later that day. luckily, pluto and lucas immediately bond and he’s only a lil angry at riley for like .5 seconds for not telling him before pluto has him wrapped around his little paw.
  • what couple traditions they have: riley and lucas LOVE to take naps together?? this is something that starts about sophomore year of high school and just continues throughout their relationship, they’ll come back to her house after school, he’ll give her his sweatshirt and they’ll just nap together. they also love to go to the movies together on their date nights, and lucas will get popcorn and chocolate and riley will get jellybeans and they’ll split their treats up and just stare at each other while the movie plays in the background (neither one of them ever remember what the movie was about), also STUDYING together, they love doing that.
  • what tv shows they watch together: riley is the only, i repeat only person who is allowed to watch cuddle bunnies with lucas, it’s one of their favorite things to do if they’ve both had kinda hard days but aren’t able to fall asleep and take a nap, they’ll just cuddle on her bed and watch cuddle bunnies together. real talk, they love to watch just like goofy kids shows together, because it makes them both happy. and while riley is always trying to get lucas to watch the knicks with her, he usually tries to avoid it because knicks fan riley kinda scares him a lil bit.
  • what other couple they hang out with: rucas and smarkle double date like all the time, especially when zay and maya are both single, bc they’re the couples of the group. they never do anything crazy but they always have a good time, later in life, they hang out with joshaya all the time too, especially when there’s a big matthews family gathering, like joshaya and rucas will just stand in the corner and judge the rest of riley and josh’s family.
  • how they spend time together as a couple: riley and lucas do basically everything together, like they’ll study together, watch movies, bake together, eat together, take naps, talk ALWAYS, they don’t actually Go out that much but any moment that they get to spend together they love.
  • who made the first move: i mean technically lucas did?? he was the one that asked riley out in first date, so he kinda jump started the whole romantic aspect of their relationship, but she kissed him first, so they both kinda made the first move.
  • who brings flowers home: lucas!!!! he’s such a sap!!!!! he always brings riley flowers!!! like there’s this one flower shop down the street from them that has the prettiest purple roses and once a week lucas always brings her flowers, not for any reason in particular but when she asks, he’s like “oh you just look so pretty today” or “i brought one of your cookies to work and it made me really happy so i brought you these” like he’s such a sap he just wants to buy riley flowers every day of his life!!!
  • who is the best cook: lucas and riley both like to cook, but lucas is way better at it than riley is. baking is much more riley’s speed. so usually lucas will cook dinner and riley will bake something for desert and then they’ll do the dishes together.
Draco Malfoy x Muggle Girl
  • Draco x Muggle Girl
  • Draco Malfoy walked the streets of London. He was far away from the Malfoy Mansion and his family.
  • The boy had a lot on his mind, he was torn between what is right and wrong. Draco was sure he is a bad person, doing terrible things and that he is just like his father. He didn't realize he couldn't be someone else even if he wanted to. Lucius and Narcissa tried their best to raise him in a proud pureblood wizard, worth of his family name.
  • But Draco Malfoy wasn't a bad guy. No one who doubts in his actions and questions if he did a right thing or not could ever be a terrible person.
  • The truth was, Draco wasn't the saint, not even close, tho he tried his best to be better in the past few weeks.
  • Why? Maybe because he felt this guilt inside him.
  • One can only imagine what Draco went through his years. He couldn't betray his family name, his father and aunt Bellatrix were both Death Eaters and Draco knew long ago, he will be asked to join them once. Not like he had a choice, if he turned them down, he'd not only risk his own life, but his parents too.
  • And now Draco was wondering, he knew the day of him becoming a Death Eater was coming close.
  • He made a few steps down an empty street. The houses were nothing like those of the wizards, muggle's have quite of a strange taste, he thought.
  • It was a beautiful and peaceful day in July, the weather was perfect and it seemed like everything in the world is going just fine. But it didn't.
  • Draco took a deep breath as he sat on the bench in the park. He was looking at his feet, while his hands rested on his knees.
  • Silence was broken by a laughter which made Draco look up from the ground.
  • His eyes searched across the trees until they landed on a girl, not far away from him. The girl was smiling, her eyes were full of happiness, something what Draco's missed for a long time.
  • Everything on the muggle girl spoke she wasn't a witch. She wore short jeans and white Chuck Taylor's and Draco couldn't help but admit the red shirt she was wearing really complimented her long (y/h/c) hair.
  • The girl laughed again, as a dog brought her a tennis ball. She picked it up and threw it in Draco's direction.
  • And then it hit Draco's head. It didn't hurt pretty much, but still Draco rubbed the side of his head while he stood up.
  • The girl's eyes widened.
  • "Oh my gosh, I am so sorry!" She shouted as she rushed to Draco.
  • "Are you okay? I really didn't mean to throw it at you." She spoke softly.
  • As she was closer, Draco noticed her beautiful (y/e/c) eyes and a few freckles spread across her nose and cheeks.
  • She was pretty, he thought.
  • "Um, it's okay." Draco blurred out. He picked up a green ball, turning it around and watching it closely.
  • He saw that for the first time in life, until then he only knew for the Quidditch balls.
  • He went to pass her the ball, but before he could do that the dog jumped on him.
  • "Marley! Stop it, leave him alone." The girl shouted as Marley winged his tail, looking at Draco.
  • Draco smiled and patted his soft fur.
  • "I'm (y/n)." The girl spoke suddenly and Draco looked up from Marley.
  • "..I'm Draco." He smiled.
  • "That's your name?" She questioned and then Draco reminded his name wasn't used in the muggle world.
  • "Yeah, um it's kind of a nickname.."
  • "" The girl said and smiled again.
  • From her eyes to her mouth there was this positivity she had, the kind Draco has never seen before. Like she was smiling all the time and couldn't stop.
  • "Is this your dog?" Draco asked.
  • "Yes, I found him two years ago on Christmas. Someone must have had abandoned him and then I took him home. We're inseparable ever since." (y/n) said.
  • Draco smiled. "Do you live near here?"
  • (Y/n) nodded. "Just around the corner. But I never seen you around here."
  • "Yeah, well I'm from Wiltshire." Draco replied.
  • You nodded. You looked up at him, in his eyes. He was different from you and all others you have met. He smelt of peppermint and warm ocean breeze. Draco, even his name was strange, beautiful, but strange just as him.
  • "Are you visiting someone here, or..."
  • "No, no I just wanted to get away from.."
  • Silence. Draco was out of words, should he tell a total stranger about his family? What he feels? Would she judge him? Think he's a coward and arrogant?
  • As his gaze fell, your lips curled in a slight smile. He wasn't shy, you thought, he was more of a thinker and a loner. The one who keeps their mind for themself and reveals nothing to the world. You suddenly realized he was hurt. In his eyes you could see the sadness and despair.
  • "I understand," you spoke, "I to get away from time to time too."
  • Draco looked up at you and smiled.
  • "Care to join me and Marley on a walk?"
  • Draco nodded "I'd be glad to." He replied and you two continued on walking.
  • Draco told you about his strict parents, about his doubts and fears. You realized all people he told you about had strange names and it felt like Draco lived in another world. Yet, you understood him. You could feel what he felt. Fear or letting other people down, fear of disapproval and not becoming what you want to be. The person who you really are.
  • "Sometimes," Draco said "the greatest fear of mine, is being myself."
  • His eyes were staring up in the sky, like they were looking for something.
  • He then sighed and gave you a broken smile.
  • "You shouldn't be afraid of who you are and what you fear, Draco. Even if you did bad things, that doesn't make you a bad person."
  • The two of you continued on walking, talking about your families, friends and the world around you. Draco was very sweet and nice person and even if he told you he wasn't you truly believed he was.
  • It was getting darker, you and Draco forgot about the time and stars already appeared in the sky.
  • "I'm really glad I met you." Draco said.
  • Marley sat at his legs, looking up and begging for his attention. "Both of you." Draco added and patted your dog.
  • "The pleasure is ours Mr. Malfoy." You said and he chuckled.
  • "I hope I see you around (y/n)."
  • You nodded slightly. You too, hoped on seeing him again. But there was this feeling that you won't.
  • Again Draco's gaze fell, but this time he wasn't silent.
  • "You are the only one that thinks there is something good in me. I appreciate that, (y/n), really. You are the kindest person I have ever met."
  • That gave you chills. It wasn't the typical compliment one gives you when you first meet him. You smiled at him before you spoke "I'm sure I'm not the only one, Draco. And you really are a good person. I feel...I feel like I've known you for years. And I believe there is more good than evil in you."
  • The street lights went on and there was only you, Draco and Marley. It was like a dream, standing there, looking up at Draco who looked like he was made in heaven.
  • You couldn't believe how someone like him felt so bad about himself. Why couldn't he see what you saw.
  • "There should be more people like you. At least there where I come from. But today, here with you, I felt so much better. Like I'm in another world." Draco spoke.
  • His eyes were telling he was being completely honest to you and you were honored.
  • You took his cold hands in your warm ones and your heart was no longer the center of your body, but in that moment every conscious part of you was in the hand that Draco held.
  • "We cast a shadow on something wherever we stand, and it is no good moving from place to place to save things; because the shadow always follows. Choose a place where you won't do harm - yes, choose a place where you won't do very much harm, and stand in it for all you are worth, facing the sunshine." You said, before you let go of his hands, knowing well you will never see him again, even tho every single inch of you hoped that you will.

I'm really sorry if tho has been asked before, but I couldn't find it. Do the characters have favorite holidays? Thanks for making the most amazing podcast ever!!!

I honestly can’t remember if it has or not! Either way here ya go:

Dr. Bright - New Year’s Eve. Joan is a resolution-making kind of gal.

Sam - Holidays in general are not great for Sam. In the present, she just chooses to treat them like any other day (Christmas and Thanksgiving are the worst). However, she did once happen upon a Holi festival sometime mid-millennia (she’s not sure the exact century) and it’s something she’s always dreamed about attending for real in the present.

Caleb - He loves Christmas, especially in recent years. All the joy and presents and general excitement are pretty great to feel.

Adam - As previously mentioned, Adam is very into Halloween.

Chloe - Chloe also loves Halloween - her and her mom have a lot of traditions on All Hallows’ Eve an All Saints’ Day. But Chloe is also a big fan of birthdays - she’s all about finding (or making) the perfect gift for someone and making sure they have the most special day possible.

Damien - St. Patrick’s Day and New Year’s Eve. People are so easy to manipulate when drunk.

Mark - Mark loves any holiday where he either gets to dress up and/or do crazy decorations. Which, if you’re Mark, is every holiday. He once dressed up as a tree for Arbor Day. He looked like an idiot.

Frank - Frank doesn’t observe holidays so much any more (and people having excuses to set off fireworks is not ideal), but he used to get really into Thanksgiving. When he was younger, he loved cooking with his grandmother and while he was on tour, it was always a fun challenge to try and make a Thanksgiving dinner with military rations.

Agent Green - Fourth of July. He loves rolling out his extra big American flag for the occasion.

So I have thoughts about Hermione.

On black Hermione.

It’s kind of an excellent thing to think about. The Wizarding World, to me, seems to be kind of ahead of the times in skin-color based racism, though they replace it easily enough with blood based racism. The Muggle world, however, sucks.

Imagine little Hermione, coming from a world where her parents, despite being successful and productive members of society, get looks in the street. Where her father, when he doesn’t bother to change out of his sweatpants when he takes her to the grocery store gets looks from indignant mothers, gets followed and watched by workers, has people clutching their wallets with white fingers as he walks by.

Imagine little Hermione, asking her parents why, because let’s be real, she’s the most curious seven-year-old who has ever walked this Earth and her parents just look at each other. They try to explain. “They feel like we’re different from them. Some people don’t understand people who are different, many don’t even try to. Sometimes people are cruel because you look different from them, and it’s not right, but the only thing that we can do is try to change that.”

Imagine little Hermione reading and studying to try to make herself better, to try to prove to the bigots in the world that she is as good as they are. Because little girls still look at black dolls and white dolls and say that the white one is smarter, that the white one is prettier.

Imagine little Hermione with her dark bushy hair and overbite feeling like she can never be pretty, despite what her parents tell her, so she works to be smart.

Imagine Hermione, at eleven, entering Diagon Alley with her parents and Professor McGonagall, and she thinks that maybe she could finally escape to a different world, one that accepts her.

Imagine Hermione getting onto the Hogwarts Express, waving an only slightly tearful goodbye to her parents as they train pulls away, but with a heart full of hope. Nobody looks at her like she’s different. Nobody looks at her like she’s lesser. And she sits with a shy, clumsy boy named Neville and he stutters an introduction before realizing that his toad has disappeared. And she helps him to look and she feels the hope blossoming in her chest because maybe here, in this new world she can have friends.

Imagine Hermione and how happy she is to make friends, even if it took a dangerous situation for it to happen. And she is fiercely protective of them, fiercely loyal to them.

Imagine Hermione the first time that she hears the word Mudblood whispered in the girls’ toilet on the first floor while she sat in a stall, keeping still and silent. She doesn’t know what it means exactly, but she understands enough.

Imagine Hermione realizing that racism isn’t only skin deep, that it isn’t only Muggles that spit it out like venom, that it isn’t only Muggles that have to figure out some way to overcome it, to find their antidote.

Imagine Hermione, an adult now, fighting her war not only in the Wizarding World, but in the Muggle one, picketing and marching and protesting. She gets thrown in jail once or twice, for disturbing the peace. And she could apparate away before they could get her in the mass, of course, but that isn’t how she fights. She stays until the end. Because she moved from one world into a magical one only to find that magic doesn’t fix people.

On Jewish Hermione.

She’s always been the before pictures when it comes to makeovers. From frizzy, curly hair to straight and smooth. From too pale skin with that olive undertone to a sun-kissed spray tan. Brown eyes are not the eyes of princesses. Hooked noses do not appear on model’s faces.

She was always a reader, though, and the first in her Hebrew School class to understand all of the symbols that the rest of her schoolmates found foreign.

When she left for Hogwarts, her parents worried. Would she be okay so far from home? How would she keep Kosher? What about the Shabbat? What about her Bat Mitzvah?

Hermione, however, was not concerned. At Hogwarts she was different, and that was okay. There were times when she felt lost, but never from her culture, from her faith. She fasted for Yom Kippur and feasted on honey  and apples on Rosh Hashanah. On the first night of Hanukkah, before the Christmas holidays started, latkes appeared on her plate and she lit the menorah alone in her room.

Once she learned where the kitchens were, she went there sometimes, especially during Passover. Even the house-elves were a bit distressed by their limits then, so she made matzah brei herself. She and Anthony Goldstein exchanged recipes.

While the other students sang Christmas Carols and hunted for Easter Eggs, she said her prayers and practiced her Hebrew and learned her Torah portion almost entirely without help. And when she returned home for the summer after her third year she easily completed her mitzvah because she wanted to help people. (And organizing that clothing drive helped her immensely to start SPEW the next year.)

Hermione never lost her faith, but she learned that it was not the only thing that made her special. She had magic and bravery and she could almost ride a broomstick sometimes if she really wanted to and she was the youngest Department Head ever at the Ministry until Harry took her title, even though she was first.

And when she married Ron she made sure that he smashed a glass goblet (and her family, small though it was, yelled a “Mazel tov!” that shamed even the Weasleys in volume). And when they danced the hora, Hermione laughed at Ron’s very vocal distress as well as his white-knuckled grip (despite hers being quite similar).

Rose and Hugo did not go to Hebrew school, though they did attend the Seder and learn the prayers and play dreidel over the Christmas holidays, taking as much joy in lighting the Menorah as they did in putting lights on the Christmas tree.

And when they first moved out, Hermione made sure that each of them had a Mezuzah for their front door.

At the wedding of a college friend I sadly haven’t seen much since graduation since we live on opposite coasts, and I’m pretty sure she’s an INFJ (I’d previously guessed INTJ) and her now husband is probably an ESTJ (maybe ENTJ but he seems very Si to me) and they seem deliriously happy and perfect for each other
So uh remember that compatibility isn’t a typology thing and also I’m at a magical Christmas tree farm outside Seattle and everyone should serve gourmet mac and cheese and craft beer at their weddings

For Naughty xmas: I'm sure you've seen the BTS blood sweat and tears mv, and possibly the trailer so I'm sure you know that Jungkook has me REAL fucked up right now because he wants to look into the camera while licking his fingers like that. And ever since I haven't been able to get out of my hand what it'd be like to see that face after he ate me out and was talking about how good I taste....Jesus

I know, right? Someone should spank those pretty little butt cheeks for making us feel stuff! But I’m very sorry to say that the five Christmas themes for drabbles were already selected in @kpopthirstaddicted 😕but maybe I can help you a bit… 😌

EDIT: Decided to put this in the Masterpost because it was getting notes, lol.

The fire made the logs crack loudly in the fireplace. The Christmas tree was lit in your brand new apartment, but there were no presents under it. It was hard to move there and still there were a lot of things missing, like a couch. But you couldn’t not put a tree even if the place you were now sharing with your boyfriend was practically empty. At the moment, the living room was the warmest place, the heating system had broken down yesterday, December 23rd, and you couldn’t find anyone to fix it. The fire, the eggnog and the duvet made you warm on the improvised bed on the floor, but not as much as your boyfriend beside you. Jungkook stared at you with hooded eyes as his index and middle fingers pumped in and out of you, his thumb circling hard at your clit. Your chest rose as his motions intensified and you couldn’t help but feeling the knot in your core tighten. His other hand supported his sculpted face. You moaned his name, and he only smirked. You closed your eyes but he told you to keep looking at him. You slowly reopened them and through your lashes you saw him swallow at the sight. He was affected by your face, your expression contorted by desire with the pleasure only he could give you. Motivated by your figure, Jungkook curled his fingers, reaching your g-spot perfectly, calling your orgasm with the tip of his fingers as he pressed at it over and over again. You came, clenching your ringed muscles on his fingers and you didn’t avert your eyes from his not even for one second. As the waves of pleasure slowly retracted, his fingers easing your way out of them as he slowed down, you couldn’t help but smile. You panted as you thought that this Christmas Eve was perfect, even though it was just the two of you in a different city. Even if your meal had been simple, because in the rush of the moving you couldn’t spend much time in the kitchen. You had apologized to him over and over again earlier for not having prepared something more elaborated, but he assured you that it was fine. Jungkook removed his fingers from you, and sucked at them, slowly. His gaze never flinching away from you and a chill went down your spine. You were hypnotized by his motions and he let his digits go with a pop. He offered you the fingers and you took them in your mouth, tasting yourself as he grinned wickedly and said: “You taste so fucking good, Baby…” and he rearranged himself until his face was between your legs, his mouth ghosting above your slit. His eyes were burning harder than the fire facing behind him inside the fireplace. “I don’t care what we have for dinner on Christmas Eve, or any day, as long as I can eat you out every single day of the year…” You had to suppress a scream when he sucked hard at your already sensitive clit and ate your pussy like a starved man. You could only repeat his name. “Jungkook” coming out of your mouth under your breath was for him more beautiful than any Christmas Carol. 🎄

I’m going home tomorrow but I’ll only be able to come back normally by Thursday, so ask away that I’ll answer on mobile! Love, CL 💋

Of Angels and Christmas Lights

Cas can barely finish reading the last sentence before Maya turns the page, eager to find out how the story will end. She doesn’t let him continue, though. She leans forward to point to the winged and haloed figure hovering in the corner on the page.

“Do all angels have white dresses, papa?” she asks, turning her head to him.

“Uh—” Cas bites his lower lip, struggling to come up with a proper answer under her expectant stare. “No,” he decides, finally. “No, not all of them. Only those that like white dresses.”

Maya raises her hands. “But they aaaaaalways do!” she says, frustrated.

Cas narrows eyes at her, trying to figure out what the “always” refers to. As she shifts on top of his knees, he shuts the book around his index finger to– Oh, of course.

“Do you mean angels in your books?”

“Yes! And in television!” she explains. “And—and on a Christmas tree!”

“Christmas tree?” Cas repeats. “On television?”

“In Veronica’s house,” she corrects. “It’s so big—” she throws her hands up above her head, nearly punching Cas’s nose in the process—”up to the ceiling! And there’s a star on the top—a gold star and angels in white dresses and little lights. It’s sooo pretty!”

“I’m sure it is,” Cas says, using the occasion to change the topic. Explaining angels, and other creatures that to children and most people are fairy tales, without outright lying, is a balancing act that Cas is not very skilled at. “What color are the lights?”

“All colors,” Maya says, jumping off her papa’s knees. “Blue and red and yellow and they twinkle like this—” she opens and closes her palms and eyelids for the most accurate portrayal of twinkling Christmas lights—”and then faster!”

She involves her skipping feet and her head bobbing up and down in her presentation. Losing her balance, she sways to the side. Cas’s arms shoot forward and lock around her to ensure she doesn’t fall. As if encouraged, Maya starts jumping around, swinging to the sides, until Cas scoops her off her feet. He pulls her in, buries her face in her neck and leaves tickling kisses, drawing a salve of squeaky laughter from her mouth.

It takes her a moment to calm down and sit straight in Cas’s lap, but when she does, she doesn’t call for the book Cas abandoned beside him on the couch. Instead, she turns to him, head cocked to the side.

“Can we have a Christmas tree too?” she pleads with a sweet grin.

Cas sucks in a breath, but before he can say anything, the front door swings open and rattles shut.

“Dean!” Cas raises his voice, only slightly. He doesn’t have a heart to scold Dean for slamming the door when it’s the door that saved him from making up another awkward answer.

“Sorry!” comes a rasp from the entrance and Dean storms into the living room, snow falling off his shoulders and to the carpet.

His movements are sharp, steps rushed but firm on the floor. He’s anxious or angry, either way, it’s more than enough to alert Cas; his body tenses, hold tightens around Maya’s small form.

“What’s going on?”

Dean stops in his tracks, turns to them, hands thrown to the sides.

“Oh, I’m gonna tell you what’s going on,” he starts, tipping his chin.

All of the tension escapes Cas at once. Dean’s angry, yes, pissed, even. But Cas knows this tone too well and he knows what’s coming next.

Dec. 12th-  Choosing/decorating a Christmas tree

Snowflakes swirl around them as Jack follows Bitty through the maze of trees.

Jack stays a few steps behind because after three hours and four different tree lots he knows how Bitty operates.

He’ll stop in front of a tree, look it up and down, shake his head, and keep walking.

Jack slammed right into the back of him the first few times and had to catch Bitty by the waist to keep him and the two coffee cups he’s holding from toppling over.

Only one of the coffees belongs to him. Peppermint mocha. Sweet and sugary. Like Christmas in a cup, or so Bitty claims.

Happy New Year’s Eve, everyone! 2016 hasn’t been the best in many, many ways, including my writing. It’s been an extremely stressful year between school, college apps, and more, uh, global issues, and as a result I’ve spent less time on tumblr, less time talking to you guys, and definitely less time writing. Regardless, I managed to get 73,980 words written, which, while not nearly as many as last time, is still pretty good for this Hell Year. So here’s a huge thank you to everyone who’s continued to support me and read my writing. I love and appreciate you and your kind words so, so much, and here’s a roundup of the fics I managed to get out this year:

A Different Kind of Alpha
Derek regains his footing and stands over the man, who can’t be more than twenty. He has brown hair and what might be moles, but it’s hard to tell past the layer of blood and grime he’s covered in. At the very least, Derek’s sure they’ve never met before.

The man looks up at him with wide eyes, his entire body trembling.

“I’m Derek Hale,” Derek begins again, letting his eyes bleed red to make his point. “Alpha of the-”

The man cuts him off once more, this time by passing out. From the looks of him, it’s a wonder it didn’t happen sooner.

In which Stiles is kidnapped by the alpha pack and manages to escape after two months of torture, only to end up on the territory of yet another alpha. Luckily for him, it turns out to be one Derek Hale, who definitely got more than he bargained for when he went to investigate a strange noise.

To Make It Right

In a society where the werewolves have been enslaved by the humans, Derek has had enough owners to know who the real monsters are. He’s also had enough to know not to trust a word out of Stiles’ mouth, no matter how nice an act he puts on.The only thing that’s kept Derek going for all these years is guilt. Now, though, he has a mission that might just allow him to set some of this right.

If only he can get away from Stiles.

In which Derek’s been abused all his life, Stiles just wants to show him he’s not like his past owners, and they’ve both got a plan. The only question is, whose is more flawed?

Pack Human Things and Star Wars Slings
In a fit of desperation, though it’s more likely to result in Stiles’ hand being bitten off than anything else, he flings out an arm to shove the hulking hellhound away. Well, at least he tries to. What actually happens is that his forearm barely makes it six inches off the ground before weakly flopping back down, sending pain shooting up his arm.

Fuck, what did this thing do to his shoulder?

Stiles cries out incoherently, trying to get someone’s attention. No one else shows up, though, and a moment later the creature looms even closer, and looks him right in the eyes. Oh, good. At least this whole thing is satisfying for someone. Right as Stiles is about to tear his gaze away and try to come to terms with his own mortality in a matter of seconds, the monster’s eyes flash blue. Stiles doesn’t think he’s ever been so relieved in his life.

“Not a monster,” he slurs, mostly to himself. “J’st Derek. Thank fuck.”

‘Stiles dislocates his shoulder in battle and Derek has to reset it’ au

Think of Me Fondly

Perhaps the worst part of this whole situation, worse than the torture and the pain and the desperation, is that Stiles is here to watch it all.

Well, not Stiles. Not really.

Derek realized long ago that the man before him is only a hallucination, a horrible trick conjured up by his lonely, strained, pitiful mind. He supposes some small part of himself finds the idea of Stiles being here comforting. For the rest of him? It’s torture. Well, torture on torture. It’s almost too much, the way Not-Stiles looks at him with those big, brown eyes, like he’s sad and angry and hopeless all at once.

Derek knows the feeling.

In which Derek is kidnapped, and after a head injury, begins to hallucinate Stiles. It doesn’t take long for the hallucinations to go from a nuisance to Derek’s safe space, nor does it take long after Derek’s rescue for him to spill a secret to the real Stiles.

It’s a Wonderful Life

“Yeah,” he says, rolling his eyes. “You’re right, Stiles. Maybe it’d just be better if I was never born at all.”

“Hmm,” Stiles says. “Huh.” He starts talking to the ceiling again, and Derek’s seriously beginning to wonder if this guy escaped from Eichen. “You think that would work? Hmm. Yeah, I getcha. Alright.” He looks back at Derek. “You’ve got your wish.”

“You’ve never been born.“

“You’re crazy,” Derek huffs. “Absolutely out of your mind.”

“The jury’s still out on that one,” Stiles says, shrugging. “But I suggest you take a quick look in the mirror.”

Derek’s reluctant to look away from a potential hunter, but what he sees when he glances over is enough to make him full-on turn his back to the man. He staggers forward and grabs at the sink, using it to hold himself up.

His eyes are glowing gold.

Not red. Not even blue.

It’s a Wonderful Life AU in which Derek wishes he were never born, Stiles is angel who sets out to show him just how terrible that would be, and things turn out far better than anyone could’ve expected.

All I Want for Christmas (Is You)

This is a few days late, but you know what they say; better late than never! I hope you like this, and happy holidays!!

P.S; My headcanon is that Aaron is 6"1 ft tall (185.4 cm) and Call is 5"7 ft (170.18 cm), and they’re both seventeen in this fic.

 22nd of December

The room looked like something straight out of a salesperson nightmare. There were boxes strewn across the floor, decorations discarded all over the place, and no less than three trays of cookies placed on various pieces of furniture. Call blinked twice then fixed his eyes on the Christmas tree propped against the wall, and the young Mage currently eyeing it with disdain.

“Tamara,” Call started carefully, finally stepping into their common room while eyeing the mess on the floor. “What is all this? What’s going on?”

“It’s Christmas,” Tamara said without turning, as if that answered any of his questions and explained the clutter on the floor.

“You don’t even celebrate Christmas,” Call stated, a grimace coloring his voice as he navigated the death trap that was currently their common room floor. “And this doesn’t look anything like Christmas. It looks like the fastest way to break someone’s neck.”

“It would look like Christmas if you’d come over here and help me put up the tree,” Tamara shot back, finally turning around to give him a stern glare. A few years back the effect of her glares would have been scary, but now that they were seventeen and she had a couple of inches on him in height -something he’d never stop being bitter about- the effect was outright terrifying.

“Christmas isn’t for another three days,” Call tried out the last argument in fashionable stubbornness, hoping that he could put this off as long as possible. He had been training with Aaron for the past few hours, and his body ached from the combination of cold, long hours, and using magic.

“And this is the first Christmas where we’re all at the Magisterium to celebrate together,” Tamara shrugged, muttering something under her breath so that the boxes flew up and rearranged themselves around the tree. “Besides,” She hesitated for a second then continued, “I’m pretty sure this will be Aaron’s first proper Christmas ever.”

Call’s stomach clenched as he took that in. Aaron tended to spend his summers with either Tamara or Call, but his Winter Holidays were often spent at the Magisterium or whatever foster home he returned to that year. Call suddenly felt guilt and sadness eating away at him. The mere thought of Aaron alone for the holidays made his heart clench, and despite not wanting to dwell on the why, he still wanted to do something for his bestfriend.

“What do you want me to do?” Call asked, his tiredness now forgotten.

Pompeii 16

Sakura awoke to the sound of shattering glass.

She bounded out of bed, messy haired and bleary eyed. She had no idea where the sound had come from. She could, however, hear the faint sounds of voices. With trepidation, Sakura pushed open her bedroom door.

Sakura was greeted with the unmuffled sound of an argument. She followed the noise, scowling as she caught sight of her sliding glass door. It was completely shattered, glass littering the floor.

She slipped into a pair of sneakers, doing her best to tiptoe around the debris as she made her way to the balcony.

So I'm pretty sure my mom is haunting us with Christmas apple ornaments.

So let me give some back story. My mom passed away in Feb from cancer but prior to that every Christmas she insisted on putting up these ugly christmas apple ornaments on our tree. These things go back as far as I can remember and they are ugly, old and cracked but she loved them. Every year it was a fight on whether they were going up or not and every year she won the fight and up went the damn apples.

So today my youngest sister and I went to our storage unit (because we have like 15 boxes of Christmas crap) to pull some stuff out for this year. As we’re going through the boxes we see those damn apples. So standing there talking we decide to just throw them out because none of us like them. We call my middle sister to check with her and she agrees that we don’t need them and then we call my cousin who is wicked close to us to see if she wants them or any other stuff. While on the phone with our cousin we tell her we’re throwing out the apples and not putting them up this year. Not even a minute later all the lights in our storage unit go out. My sister starts screaming and running for the exit as I stand still in hopes of not dying. A moment later the lights begin to flicker back on and I start laughing. My sister comes running back hysterical yelling “We’re putting up the apples, screw this we’re putting up the damn apples!” I fell over laughing.

OP of the Christmas post here, and I'm down for them being together or apart, but Len is definitely still Captain Cold. Possibly he doesn't pull heists over Christmas, because he's too busy planning everything out to the second. Possibly Lisa and Mick pull more jobs to get away from Len's Christmas-mania.

This……totally got out of hand okay but here me out friend because I can dig this.

Len is super into Christmas. Lisa is positive only kids get this excited and even then, not to this extent.

And yeah, Lisa and Mick totally find it annoying but they can’t help but join in.

But this is how it goes down.

November 1st, Len rents a truck. He likes to buy his Christmas stuff early so he makes sure to get a truck big enough so that he doesn’t have to make double/triple trips.

I want the Rogues to be all buddy-buddy so they’re all pretty much spending Christmas together in one of the larger safe houses. Makes them all help out in some way.

Somewhere around the end of November and the beginning of December is when shit starts getting real.

Len goes to the grocery stores with Mick. They’re the ones who’ll be cooking mainly because they don’t trust anyone else to do it.

Barry totally runs into them a few times (being on grocery duty himself), and is totally suspicious. But also confused as to why Mick and Len are damn near buying out the entire grocery store. It starts getting weird when Len doesn’t utter a single pun the entire time. Barely even acknowledges the speedster’s existence. Too focused on throwing things in the cart and rushing for the last bag of Jet-Puffed marshmallows before the poor old lady next to him. He’s in the freakin zone.

Barry decides they can’t really be planning anything nefarious with marshmallows, so he lets it go. Getting a friendly nod from Heatwave on his way out. Friendly. From Heatwave. Barry gets outta there before the planet explodes or something equally terrifying.

You said you don’t care if Len is still a criminal or not so I’m gonna say he is, but it’s still somewhere after Family of Rogues. Cold is out of prison, maybe he’s help Barry out with a few metas. They’ve built up this relationship where there’s obviously a mutual respect there. They don’t try to hurt/kill each other. Mostly just Len stealing this and Barry stopping him. Almost fun for them, especially since innocent bystanders aren’t getting hurt. So they aren’t exactly friends, but they’re something.

But back to the Rogues. Len assigns Lisa, Shawna, and Hartley to decoration duty. He refuses to be the least festive house on block okay he’s not losing to Mrs. Wilson again. There’s lights outside. A fake waving Santa. Blow up Frosty. He even tells Mark to make it snow over the safe house whenever she walks her dog so he can rub it in her face. He’s super competitive and it really comes out during the holidays. Just wait til the get to the games.

Eventually the Rogues sneak out and plan random heists. It’s only the 10th of December and Len is killing them with all the Christmas stuff. Hell, they even start reading to kids in hospitals, volunteering at shelters, finding any activity they can just so they have an excuse not to step back into that safehouse.

Which totally upsets Len, but he wouldn’t dare tell anyone or let it show. Lisa used to love Christmas just as much as him. He finally has a family –because yeah he doesn’t say it often but that’s basically what they are – to share it with, and they don’t even want to take part in it.

He starts toning it down. Instead of hunting down gifts, searching for the perfect tree, or looking for which safehouse he stored their grandfather’s Christmas ornaments in, he ends up curled up on the sofa watching the same Christmas movies over and over. There isn’t much of a selection when the channel is on abc family and the remote is at the other end of the couch.

He sees maybe one or two Rogues every once and a while but it’s obvious they’re avoiding him.

He even decides to go visit his grandfathers grave. Which he and Lisa usually do together, but he hadn’t been able to find her anywhere.

He probably finishes talking to his grandfather, when he looks up and sees none other than Barry Allen. He’s on the other side of the cemetery towards the bigger tombstones.

He’s got his back to Len but Barry can tell the kid is upset. Shoulders hunched over, arms crossed. Len should probably walk away and give him privacy but his feet seem to have a different opinion, since he makes his way over to Barry anyway.

It’s obvious Barry knows he’s there by the way his shoulders go stiff. Len doesn’t say anything. Just puts his left hand on Barry’s should and uses his other to rub Barry’s back in a (hopefully) soothing manner.

Eventually, Len convinces Barry to let him buy the kid a coffee.

Imagine them sitting in a coffee shop decorated in Christmas lights and tinsel and soft Christmas music playing from the speakers. They pick a quiet table in the back and end up sitting there for hours. Going on about Christmas, their families, pleasant memories, mostly. Barry is surprised to hear that Len is spending his Christmas with the Rogues. He hadn’t realized they were so close.

And Len doesn’t mean to, really. He’s been keeping it bottled up and he isn’t a big fan of spilling his guts but…its Barry. Who looks so sincere and genuinely confused as to why Len is here with him and not back at his safehouse, spending time with his “Merry Band of Misfits” (as Barry so helpful referred to them as earlier). So Len tells him. About how amazing their grandfather was and how he made sure every Christmas they had was special. Each one better than the last. Plenty of food, games, and gifts. Len was old enough to realize how much their grandfather sacrificed to give them all that, and so he’s always been grateful. Made sure he did the same with Lisa. Made sure her Christmas’ and birthdays were amazing, even after their grandfather passed.

So he went all out this year. Trying to make it as extreme and outrageous as it was when they were kids. How he even tried including the rest of the Rogues, but no one seemed to want to join in. That maybe, they should just buy a turkey, exchange gifts, and call it a night like Mark suggested.

(Barry looked scandalized at the prospect of anyone willing spending Christmas that way.)

And Barry’s face can’t decide between a huge grin or a slightly pitying look. Len obviously loved his grandpa and inherited his love for Christmas and all things festive. It was a shame none of the other Rogues wanted to share that too.

Which is when Barry decides that it is his sole purpose in life to get Len back into the Christmas spirit.

They go gift shopping for the Rogues and team Flash. Start finishing up Len’s grocery list. Len helps Barry pick out a Christmas sweater. They sing along to the ridiculous Christmas songs playing on the radio in Len’s truck. Finally pick a Christmas tree (Barry insists on the one with fake snow and Len can’t say ‘no’). Laugh and joke and have way more fun than a hero and his nemesis should probably have.

When they reach the safehouse (which is only one of many, so Len has no problem with Barry knowing where it is), no one is there. Not surprising at this point, seeing as the Rogues are probably still avoiding him.

Barry takes his mind off of that by turning on the music and helping set up the tree they just picked out.

Just imagine them getting the tree set up and talking and laughing while hanging up ornaments. Barry totally spiked the eggnog so Len’s a bit tipsy but his smile is getting brighter and his laughs louder, so Barry doesn’t feel too bad about it. They end up sprawled across the couch, singing along to “All I Want For Christmas Is You” (for the fourth time since they arrived), when the front door opens and the Rogues pile in with at least six bags each.

“Lenny? You home?”

In which Barry freaks out for a good two seconds before realizing that Lisa and the rest of the Rogues don’t know his identity.

“Well, who’s this?” Lisa smirks, handing over her bags to Shawna who drags them up the stairs.

Len just rolls his eyes and ignores her question, offering to walk Barry out.

They’re outside on the porch and it’s extremely awkward because neither of them really know what to say. But before Barry can make up some lame excuse to leave, Len takes two steps closer. Invading his personal space. Barry doesn’t step back, just stares as Len brings both his hands up to cup Barry’s face. He takes his time studying Barry’s face. Signs that he doesn’t want this. The opportunity to step away. But it’s a hundred and twenty seven seconds and there’s no movement. Just Barry bringing his own arms up to wrap around Len’s waist and pull him closer.

Len moves one of his hands so that his thumb can brush against Barry’s lips. Across the bottom one and watching intently as Barry’s tongue darts out to trace over the same path. It’s cold enough that they can see their breaths mingle together as their lips inch closer and closer.

Len takes the same hand and runs it through Barry’s hair. Tilting his head back until Barry’s lips are right up against his. At this point, Len’s lost track of time. He knows they’ve only been at this for a few minutes, but it feels like hours. Days. Like he’s being doing this forever and would have no qualms about continuing it for several lifetimes.

Barry gets impatient because he raises his arms to wrap around Len’s neck and pull him closer and he’s so, so close but then-

“Are you guys going to kiss or what? We don’t have all night. Lisa wants to start the games and this is probably the second hottest thing I’ve ever seen. So get a move on.”

“What the hell, Shawna?” Hartley hisses, pulling her back and standing in the doorway. “Don’t mind her, just pretend we aren’t here.”

Len has to resist the urge to throttle the two. Barry’s face is beet red as he waves a lame goodnight at Len and hurries his way home.

Of course, any anger he had previously completely disappears when he steps into the house. There are games spread across the coffee table. A couple wrapped presents under the tree. Whatever Mick is cooking in the kitchen has filled the entire house and Lisa is smiling up at him in a way that’s all too familiar. It’s like a flashback to memories he thought he’d never have again after their grandfather passed. The smell of a home cooked meal. His sister begging him to play one more round of whatever game she was intent on winning. The same 5 songs on repeat, but different artists every time. It was all too familiar.

Then he looked around. Noticed the rest of the Rogues. The rest of his… family. Smiling and joking and…

Len refused to tear up. Damn Barry for letting him drink.

It’s only a week until Christmas, but no one seems to care. They’re playing the most intense game of drunk charades ever and no one can stop laughing long enough to even finish the game. They take turns choosing movies (which they end up talking through anyway). When no one is paying attention, Hartley sneaks a peak at one of his gifts under the tree, which only earns him a slap across the head from Shawna. Mick’s had more drinks than anyone so he ends up being the first one to pass out. Next is Hartley. Then Shawna, who’s carried up to bed by Mark.

The only ones left are Len and Lisa who sit quietly next to the tree, hot cocoa in hand, talking about their grandfather. About their favorite memories with him and laughing about all the silly traditions he made them participate in as kids.

Eventually, Lisa opens up about the last month. About how much it hurt trying to do everything their grandfather loved without him. But then she saw Len’s face and how upset he was when Lisa wasn’t as into it as he was.

But she couldn’t let him do this alone. They have their own family now, as ragtag as it is, but she loves it. And can’t imagine sharing their grandfather’s special brand of “Christmas Crazy” with anyone else.

They don’t cry. They don’t hug it out. But they definitely come to an understanding and intend on making this Christmas as amazing as it was when they were kids.

Over the next week, Len and Mick start cooking. Preparing most of the meals so that all they have to do is throw it in the oven. They don’t trust anyone else in the kitchen, so everyone is pretty much banned from that area.

Lisa and Shawna are locked upstairs, wrapping all the gifts. Hartley’s good at wrapping too, but they don’t trust him after the other night. So he and Mark are pretty much wandering aimlessly without anything to do. They probably end up going out, seeing what’s going on around town.

This goes on for a couple of days. Eventually, it’s the 23rd and they’ve done pretty much everything. Everything is prepared to be thrown in the oven. The gifts are wrapped and piled under the tree. Mark and Hartley have seen everything there is to see.

Lisa suggests ice skating. Which…isn’t really a suggestion. It’s pretty much mandatory.

While everyone gets ready, Lisa insists Len invite that kid who was there the other day. Obviously, Len cares about him enough to bring him back to their safe house and decorate a Christmas tree with him. Len calls Barry (who’s number he saved in his phone the other day), who immediately agrees to ice skating. Between the West family and Iris and Eddie being all lovey dovey, Barry thinks he’s gonna lose it any moment. He agrees to meet them there.

We need more Barry having fun with the Rogues. Spending time with them and finding out that they’re actually pretty decent people. Mark isn’t his biggest fan, but he gets over it quickly. They’re all pretty good skaters except Hartley. Who doesn’t mind getting made fun of when the cute instructor comes over to help him.

Barry and Lisa end up racing which Len secretly finds hilarious because Barry might be the fastest man alive, but Lisa is probably the best ice skater in Central City. They’re pretty much neck and neck (seeing as Barry is unable to noticeably use his speed) every race but it’s all in good fun.

Eventually Len and Barry end up skating off by themselves after the flood of people start to disappear.

Len ends up thanking him for the other day. Taking time out his probably hectic schedule to help Len out. Even bringing up his conversation with Lisa that same night and man he has got to stop spilling his guts to this kid.

But Barry is obviously happy to hear it. Smiling at Len, he grips the wall next to them. Pushing off of it to skate closer to Len. This time, they don’t waste any time. The kiss is everything Len imagined it’d be. Neither of them can stop smiling into the kiss, even after they hear a camera go off and a flash from their peripheral vision.

“Awwww.” Lisa coos, skating away quickly before Len could even think about catching her.

(Barry and Len totally end up making out in the bathroom while everyone else is still out on the ice.)

Finally, it’s Christmas Eve morning. Approximately 5:09 AM and Len is currently trying to wake up the sleeping rock that is Mick Rory. It’s like no matter how much noise he makes, it doesn’t affect the bigger man at all. He just rolls over and keeps snoring.

After a few more attempts (that may or may not have contained ice), Mick is finally up and ready to go.

By 2, everything is done. The mac and cheese is coming out of the oven, the turkey is taken out of the fryer, all the vegetables have been seasoned, casseroles and dips are set up along the island on the other side of the kitchen, potato salad has been in the refrigerator all morning, rolls are in the oven, drinks have been set out, and the sides have been set out along the table. Everything is just about perfect when the rest of the Rogues pile in in their nicest clothes. Which, shouldn’t be such a big deal. But they never get to dress up so why not?

Hartley looks amazing, of course. One of his best suits tailored to fit him perfectly. Shawna and Lisa both went with red dresses. Different, but similar in the way that they both hugged the women’s bodies perfectly. Mark went with simple slacks and a button down. He’s here to eat okay? Mick is pretty much the same, not wanting to risk anything getting messed up by the food.

Len? We all know Len looks the best. That he went all out with his navy blue three piece suit, even if the only people who were gonna see it were the Rogues. He’s a show off, so what?

Before Len lets them touch anything, he demands they take a group picture. As corny as it seems, Lisa and Len always did this with grandpa Snart. Might as well continue the tradition.

Now. What ends up happening is this.

They fill their plates up. With literally everything they can. Mick and Len’s cooking is amazing and eventually the Rogues are slouching in their seats, unable to move. Hartley is the first to unbutton his suit, sprawl across the couch, and slower enter a food coma. Everyone else seems to think that’s a wonderful idea because they follow his lead and pass out of the couch. Len doesn’t bother putting anything away because he knows they’ll be up in a couple of hours for round two. Then three. So he gets started on dessert. (He totally doesn’t take pictures of them sprawled across the couch nope they have no proof).

He takes off his suit jacket and rolls up his shirt sleeves when there’s a knock at the door. Obviously no one else is going to get it so he straightens his vest and makes sure he looks good before opening the door.

Of course, it’s Barry. In the /ugliest/ Christmas sweater Len has ever set eyes on in all his 40+ years of life.

Len can’t even ask him what he’s doing here because he’s so distracted by the ugliness. It takes him a minute to realize that this isn’t the sweater he helped pick out. It’s a different one. A worse one. It has one of those “press me!” buttons that Len is not at all tempted to press, least the horrendous thing lights up. Or worse, sings a song.

Barry notices what he’s staring at and laughs before saying “Ugly sweater contest. As you can see, I won first place.”

He smiles proudly.

Len has no idea why he’s proud.

“Uh…anyway. Merry Christmas Eve! I was gonna wait until tomorrow but I have a feeling I won’t be able to sneak off that easy. So uhh…here.”

Barry shoves a nicely wrapped gift in his hand and scratches his neck awkwardly when Len just stares down at it.

“Don’t open it now, though. I want you to open it up with Lisa tomorrow. I guess it’s kinda for the both of you. Well… all of you really but… anyway you’re not saying anything so I’m just going to walk away before I change my mind and-”

And of course that’s when Len snaps out of it because Barry really got him a gift? He doesn’t really have anything to give him in return so he does the only thing he can.

“You want to come in? There’s plenty of food.”

Apparently the Wests haven’t finished cooking yet and Barry’s been starved. There’s only so much food he can steal without revealing his secret or getting his hand slapped by Joe’s mother. Again.

So they end up sitting down at the long table, plates full (Barry’s piled much higher than Len’s), and talking about their day. Plans for tomorrow.

And it’s all just too easy. Talking to Barry. Opening up. Inviting him into (one of) his home and feeding him and laughing and talking and…Len just doesn’t get it.

They aren’t exactly friends. Though, isn’t that what you call this? Hanging out? Talking? Feeling so comfortable around a person, that he feels no need to hide or cover things up? Then again, he doesn’t exactly kiss his friends. Or make out with them in bathrooms. So maybe “friends” isn’t the word he’s looking for. But they’re definitely something, judging by the look Barry is sending him from across the table.

So Len decides to stop questioning it. He doesn’t question it when Barry kisses his goodbye. Doesn’t question why he gives Barry left overs to go. Or why he texts him the rest of the evening. Or calls him Christmas morning.

He doesn’t question it when the Rogues have opened all their gifts and Len purposely saves Barry’s for last.

He lets Lisa open it. It’s a simple photo album. Sticky note attached that says something about “To new memories”. He doesn’t understand why she gasps and then tears up when she opens up the first page until he comes up behind her.

It’s an old photograph. Actually, there are several old photographs. The first Christmas they celebrated with their grandfather and every picture they’ve taken with him until his death. The edges are a bit rough, but you can still clearly see their faces. Their genuine smiles, which were pretty rare during those times. Len thought he’d lost those photos, but how?

In that moment, Len is pretty sure he can fall completely in love with this kid. Just…utterly and foolishly in love and it might be complicated and they might argue and Len might even fuck this up but damn if it’s not worth it. This kid could possibly be the best thing to ever happen to him and the thing that made him finally realize it was this damn photo album.

The Rogues practically push him out the door, demanding he go talk to the kid.

Happy Holidays!

For the wonderful @havillird,

Merry Christmas!! I hope you had a great day!!

From your @pjosecretsanta, Jenna ❅

  • When it came to Christmas, Annabeth was more or less like The Grinch
  • For Annabeth, holidays like Christmas usually meant family dinners from hell
  • Annabeth could still recall the times she had gone to Boston with her father for family dinners
  • There was usually arguing, a fair bit of yelling, and probably more alcohol than was wise
  • She had her cousin to keep her company, but she suspected he didn’t even know what was happening most of the time
  • Then there were the times they stayed in Virginia with her step-mother and younger brothers
  • Once or twice a Christmas party was thrown and work colleagues and friends were invited
  • Annabeth was mostly ignored during those
  • Her step-mother made her wear awful Christmas dresses and uncomfortable shoes
  • Plus, making Annabeth sit through dinner while bored out of her mind was a challenge for any ADHD 7-year-old, demigod or not
  • And since Annabeth was The Grinch, Percy was Cindy Lou-Who
  • Nothing was better than Christmas time for Percy
  • For one, he got to see his mom after long months away at boarding school
  • Two, well. Nothing was better than Sally Jackson’s Christmas baking
  • They would spend hours making Christmas treats, and even though blue was not a Christmas colour, they made blue snowmen cookies
  • They decorated as much as they could get away with without pissing Gabe off
  • They didn’t have room for a real tree in their small apartment, and nowhere to store a fake one, so Percy had his own mini Christmas tree that was only about a foot tall and didn’t shed all over the place
  • It even had mini decorations (Percy usually lost a few every year)
  • and after Gabe was gone, Percy and Sally had the first Christmas where they could really go all out
  • Lights everywhere, fake snow, a real Christmas tree
  • Percy feels truly content for the first time in months
  • and although opposites might attract, it doesn’t mean they don’t clash either
  • The first time Annabeth and Percy talk about Christmas is the year they find (and lose) Nico and Bianca
  • Annabeth mentions her dad want her to come back to California for the holiday and Percy notices the look on her face
  • “You don’t want to go?” “Not really.”
  • “Why? Because… of what happened”
  • “Sort of. I just don’t like Christmas. At camp, it’s bearable, but with my dad and step-mom? No thanks.”
  • Annabeth rolls her eyes at Percy, pretty sure he stopped listening at “don’t like Christmas”
  • “You don’t like Christmas?” the disbelief in his voice makes Annabeth snort
  • “No. You wouldn’t like it either if you were made to dress up and be quiet surrounded by adults who ignore you.”
  • Just the thought made Percy twitch and he sympathized with her.
  • And Percy doesn’t really think about it before he blurts out “You could spend Christmas with me.”
  • One blonde eyebrow raises as she stares at him and Percy awkwardly rubs the back of his neck
  • “I mean, with my mom and me. You know, dinner, presents, hot chocolate and cheesy Christmas movies.”
  • It’s not like his mom would mind. She loved Annabeth. And the more the merrier.
  • Annabeth tilts her head and considers it. What would she prefer? Dinner with her family who only sort of liked her, or dinner with her best friend and his mom, who treated her better than her own family did?
  • No competition.
  • “All right.”
  • Percy looks surprised, and Annabeth smiles.
  • “I’d like that. Thank you, Percy.”
  • “Sure. Uh, no problem.”
  • The only problem now was to find Annabeth a decent Christmas gift.
  • So Annabeth sends word to her dad and Percy goes last minute Christmas shopping
  • And then Christmas comes all too soon
  • Annabeth is standing awkwardly in front of the Jackson’s door, wondering if she should have brought something besides the few measly gifts she managed to get (A scarf for Sally and a gift card to some skater shop Percy mentioned before)
  • But she shakes her self and knocks and within seconds Percy is opening the door and smiling at her
  • Annabeth calms down and steps inside. “Merry Christmas.”
  • “Merry Christmas,” he parrots back and offers to take her coat
  • Annabeth almost laughs, surprised at the chivalry but manages to smother it and wordlessly hand him her coat.
  • Sally pops out of the kitchen and tell her to make herself at home
  • Annabeth glances around
  • She can smell the pine tree from where she’s standing, along with all of the wonderful things Sally is cooking
  • There are decorations everywhere
  • Fake snow, tons of lights, snowmen, an electronic iceskating rink with mini figures spinning around and changing colours every second
  • There’s cookies on the coffee table, shortbread, gingerbread, chocolates
  • She joins Percy on the couch and they argue on what Christmas movie to watch
  • It’s a Wonderful Life vs. Christmas With the Kranks
  • Surprisingly, Annabeth concedes and Percy crows in triumph
  • “Consider it your Christmas gift, Seaweed Brain.”
  • Percy just laughs and turns the volume on the TV up
  • And for once, she really does feel at home on Christmas.

This was going to be longer omg but I hope you like them!! (Possible Pt. 2? Maybe? We shall see!)

Not so secret Santa: a Lucaya fanfic
  • Every year there was this secret santa game that all the classmates liked to participate. They would randomly select a name from a bowl full of name tags and give the name owner little presents until christmas when the Secret Santa would be revealed.
  • Everybody was excited, except Maya. Every year was stressful around secret Santa time. Having very little to no mony to spend on gifts was sometimes hard, she had to become resourseful. Recyclin, going to triftshops, flee markets, and sometimes making the gifts herself. And the kids didn't wanted those gifts... They wanted expensive candybars, of new toys, cute fashion accesories. One time in second grade, she made a picture frame with some recycled materials, and it ended in the garbage because the girl who was meant for didn't liked it. And it just broke Maya's heart, she came home crying and Katie gave her Money to buy a bracelet and a candy bar for the Secret Santa.
  • So this year, even when Maya had more money to spend on little gifts, it was still a very hard time for her, while everyone was happy and excited, she was anxious.
  • Riley: today is Secret Santa day!
  • Farkle: Yes! I hope I get awesome gifts...
  • Lucas: You guys play this game every year?
  • Maya: Yea... It sucks... I'm going to art room. Forgot something there yesterday. See you later in class...
  • Lucas: is Maya ok? She seemed a little sad...
  • Riley: Maya doesn't like Secret Santa
  • Lucas: How come?
  • Farkle: No one wants her to be their secret Santa.
  • Riley: Farkle!
  • Farkle: what? Its true!
  • Lucas: why is that? Don't they like Maya?
  • Riley: Maya is not the problem.
  • Farkle: Its her gifts. They are mostly hand made from recycled objects.
  • Lucas: But that's awesome. Like little works of art.
  • Farkle: Yeah... I guess not everybody is into it...
  • Riley: I liked my gifts from last years...
  • Farkle: o yeah? And how come you are not wearing your noodle bracelet right now?
  • Riley: murmurs...I don't have it anymore...
  • Farkle: what?
  • Riley: I said I don't have it anymore!
  • Farkle: what did you do to it Riley?
  • Riley: I lost it?
  • Farkle: lier!
  • Riley: Fine... Is in my room. Somewhere. and I don't wear it because I don't want to break it.
  • Farkle: is made of noodles Riley, not glass.
  • Riley: people already think I'm weird. I can't wear noodles, they'll make fun of me... Lets see if you wear yours this year!
  • Farkle: I don't have one!
  • Riley: not yet... But since last time she was my secret santa, now is your turn.
  • Farkle: No way!
  • Riley: farkle!
  • Farkle: Sorry Riles, No can do. Got to run, library book to return, see you later!
  • Riley: Farkle! You can't do this to me two years in a row! We had a deal! Damn....
  • Lucas: ok, what just happened?
  • Riley: Farkle bailed on me...
  • Lucas: what deal?
  • Riley: one year is my secret santa, next was suposed to be his. And is his turn. Last year was mine. That was the deal.
  • Lucas: don't worry Riles, I'll take Farkle's place.
  • Riley: Really?
  • Lucas: Gladly.
  • Riley: You are so nice. Thank you! You always coming to rescue me.
  • Lucas: yeah...
  • Riley: lets head to class to make the special Secret Santa arrangements with dad. He knows about the deal.
  • At class, Mr Mattews puts all their names except for Mayas and Lucas in the bowl, and calls each student forward to take a little piece of paper in the front desk. On purpose he calls Maya and places two pieces of paper both with lucas name on it and Maya grabs one.
  • Maya: (unfolds paper) great...
  • Mr Mattews calls Lucas and he takes the last remaining paper, and nods at Mr Mattews knowing that he'll be Mayas Secret Santa.
  • After class...
  • Farkle: so what did you get?
  • Riley: I can't tell you! Is ruins the purpose of the game. Is called "secret" santa for a reason...
  • Farkle: c'mon... Not even a clue?
  • Riley: No!
  • Lucas: I got a very nice name...
  • Maya: I got the worst...
  • Farkle: It can't be that bad.
  • Maya: it is.
  • (Riley and Lucas look at eachother with worry)
  • Riley: why is it so terrible?
  • Maya: because is gonna be hard to please this one... Is gonna take a lot of work.
  • Lucas: how come?
  • Maya: It just is. Stop asking things. I better go... I need time to think.
  • Riley: let her be. She's worried because she wants you to like her presents. Now she'll isolate herself to think about and make the gifts.
  • Lucas: I can hardly wait.
  • Next week they were suposed to start with the gifts...
  • Maya was nowhere to be seen.
  • Farkle: good morning Riley. Guess what was in my locker?
  • Riley: a secret santa gift?
  • Farkle: yes! How did you know?
  • Riley: Look! (Opens locker door)
  • Farkle: Nice teddy bear!
  • Riley: I know right? Is the cuttest little teddy beat with the cuttest little sweater. I'm so happy. What did you get?
  • Farkle: just a card...
  • Riley: sure is just a card?
  • Farkle: for now... Yes. But is musical. And says that more is to come! So I'm happy.
  • Lucas: hey guys.
  • Riley: hi lucas. Look! A teddy!
  • Farkle: card! You?
  • Lucas: i don't know. Haven't found anything.
  • They get to class and in his desk is a red box with a green bow.
  • He smiles and puts it in his bag.
  • Farkle: aren't you gonna open it?
  • Lucas: not yet.
  • Farkle: would you let me see?
  • Lucas: later dude.
  • (Maya walks in)
  • Riley: what did you get?
  • Maya: nothing yet. I guess my secret santa forgot about it.
  • Farkle: or maybe later you'll find it.
  • Lucas drops his books on purpose and as he gets down to get them up he puts a little envelope in Maya's bag when she's not looking.
  • After class everybody heads home. Lucas can't wait anymore to open the little box. He carefully removes the green ribbon and opens the red box to find a very artsy horse sculpture made of clay. Is a white horse. And Lucas liked it so much he put it in his bedside table.
  • When Maya got home, she opened her bag to find her keys and felt the heavy envelope with her hand, took it out and opened it. It was a beautiful bracelet for charms with a single snow flake charm. She liked it. A lot. She had a feeling this secret santa was gonna be different. But for now she needed to finish her next secret santa proyect.
  • Would Ranger Rick like the horse sculpture? She'll know tomorrow for sure.
  • Next day:
  • Riley: so, what was it?
  • Lucas: a beautyful sculpture.
  • Farkle: can I see it?
  • Lucas: is in my room, but sure, someday.
  • Maya was smiling when she heard he liked it.
  • Riley: so Maya. What did you get?
  • Maya just held her wrist for her to see.
  • Riley: ahww that's so pretty!
  • Farkle: so mine was the worst!
  • Riley: relax farkle, is just the first...
  • Lucas: yeah buddy, you might get a charm bracelet next time!
  • Farkle: ha ha
  • Next week: was second gift time.
  • Riley: guess what I got?
  • Farkle: Another teddy?
  • Riley: No! But is just as cute!
  • Farkle: what is it?
  • Riley: A puppy calendar! Look, it has the cutest puppy pictures you can imagine, there's even one with a bunny!
  • Farkle: yeah really cute. Look what I got!
  • Riley: that isn't so bad...
  • Farkle had a pen and a little notepad with little pine trees.
  • Farkle: yeah, is true. At least is something I can use.
  • Riley: That is true. Hey Maya what about you?
  • Maya: notting yet, I mean wasn't in my locker.
  • Farkle: Lucas?
  • Lucas: my locker was empty too. Lets go to class.
  • And there was again. A little red box with green bow on his desk. Only this time there was one silver box with a pink bow on Maya's desk too.
  • Lucas: see, I did got something.
  • Maya: Me too.
  • Farkle: what is it?
  • Lucas: can't tell yet. I'll open it later.
  • Maya: I got more charms, a candy cane, a ginger bread man and a christmas tree. And a real candy cane. Yummy.
  • Lucas smiled to himself.
  • At home he opened his box. There was a coin, a very special coin that he knew so well. The one with the cowboy ridding a bull. The same one his grandfather promissed to give him so many years ago but didn't. But how did she get it?
  • Next week, third secret santa day.
  • Riley found the cutest little candy abd ginger bread house.
  • Riley: can you believe it? Su cute and delicious!
  • Farkle: yea yea...
  • Riley: didn't liked yours?
  • Farkle: look... A calculator. I mean, is useful but not thoughful...
  • Riley: yea, I guess you could say that.
  • Maya: lets get inside class (smiling)
  • Farkle: Maya eager to get to class... That's a new one...
  • Lucas: I wanna go in too, there must be my gift waiting for me.
  • And it was.
  • The usual red box. But now it was bigger and read Fragile! Do not shake.
  • Maya: look more charms... No, just one a snow man and a gift card with 25 dls, this is so cool.
  • Farkle: home?
  • Lucas: yeah. Not until home.
  • And when he arrived home he opened his gift. His favorite. Cherry pie. Only when he tasted it he knew, it wasn't just a cherry pie, was his grandma's recipe. He smiled so much it made his face hurt that afternoon. And he ate it all. Didn't share one bit. And he loved it.
  • Next week. It was cheistmas eve. The last gift, when it all came down to telling who was their secret santa.
  • Riley: Omg Look at this!
  • Farkle: what?
  • Riley: just when I tough it couldn't get better. A snow globe with me inside in a cheerleading outfit. And it says "I'll always believe in you" omg! Farkle?
  • Farkle: (smiles) yeah... Tough you would like it.
  • Riley: I live it... Omg please don't open yours!
  • Farkle: why not? (Opens locker)
  • A really unexpected thing happened, some colored watter got splashed on his face and he got a recorded message saying: "you bailed on me! ME! And you thought that was ok, well time to think again pal. Happy Christmas not! Enjoy making calculations and taking notes on how to be a better friend! "
  • Farkle: Riley!
  • Riley: Sorry! I was mad at you. I tried to warn you!
  • Farkle: your gift sucks big time. I bet Maya's was better.
  • Riley: Serves you right for bailing on me.
  • Maya opened hers to find a single heart charm and a letter that said "thank you for all those amazing gifts. They made me feel like home and it was special. I know this was hard for you but jeep doing what you love. And you are an amazing artist Maya, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. -yours Ranger Rick"
  • When Lucas got home he opened his box. And it was empty, no present. Just a note in the bottom, with an adress. And so, he took his phone and jacket and the little piece of paper and went there. Nothing could prepare him for it, it was a mural in the side of a drugstore. The picture was amazing with so much detail. It was Lucas' favorite horse from Texas. And himself ridding it in a very beautiful prairie. He took pictures of the mural with his phone and stayed all afternoon admiring the artwork, must have taken her so much time. Days maybe.
  • When he turned she was there.
  • Maya: taking pictures of my art?
  • Lucas: don't you mean mine?
  • Maya: touche
  • Lucas: nice gift. I just wish I could take it home.
  • Maya: I have the sketch at home if you want it.
  • Lucas: I do, thank you. Most have taken you days...
  • Maya: it did... But for you, it was worth it.
  • Lucas: you are really somehting you know...
  • Maya: yeah... I've heard...
  • Lucas: so, you talked to grandma?
  • Maya: yeah
  • Lucas: I knew that was her pie!
  • Maya: Heeey, I made it! And it took me like 5 pies to get it right.
  • Lucas: it was perfect. Thank you.
  • Maya: anytime huckleberry.
  • Lucas: so, 5 pies?
  • Maya: yeah?
  • Lucas: have any left?
  • Maya: sure, lets go home.
  • Lucas: lead the way mah-am
  • Maya: you are such a huckleberry.

When you open your mouth and a Scottish accent comes out, people are surprised. You speak English really well, they say, and you nod politely as if your first words hadn’t been some form of ‘mum’ like 99% of the Hogwarts population. It gets better after a while—eleven year olds don’t really care where you’re from, as long as you’re nice and share your Honeydukes packages—so when the Beauxbatons delegation arrives your fifth year and that strange new potato dish appears on the table, you and Marietta Edgecombe, who’s also from Scotland, laugh and tell everyone that stovies are nothing new, really.

Still, that night when Roger Davies coaxes you to sneak up to the Astronomy Tower with him, he calls you exotic. You call him silly. Your grandparents are Chinese, but you have lived in Scotland all your life. Yet you follow him to the Astronomy Tower anyway, and let his ice blue eyes slide over your body because, for once, having porcelain skin and jet black hair makes you beautiful instead of just abnormal. For a while, at least, you are exotic.

Those Beauxbaton girls are exotic too, though, especially the girl with flowing blonde hair Davies fawns over all the way to the Yule Ball. You take that news unexpectedly well. Deep inside, you always knew you couldn’t compete with a Beauxbaton girl. They are French, and that’s the kind of exotic Hogwarts boys really want.

Except the Hufflepuff one, the one with grey eyes you had a crush on back in third year. Cedric Diggory, from Ottery St. Catchpole. He finds you by the lake, takes you aside under a beech tree as your friends giggle in the background, and shyly asks if you will go the Yule Ball with him. He shouldn’t be this shy. He needn’t be shy at all, because ‘yes’ tumbles out of your mouth with no reservation. He is so very handsome.

And good. And sweet. So deliciously, blithely sweet. He kisses you unexpectedly your first date at Madame Puddifoot’s Teashop, and then again in the alleyway behind Zonko’s. When you come up for breath and take a peak at this boy who makes your nerves tingle, his eyes remain closed as his lips reach for another taste.

Can we have a hc where the rfa + v + Saeran go on snow dates with mc? Btw, I love you guys so much, I really enjoy and look forward to everything you guys post ٩(˃̶͈̀௰˂̶͈́)و

Oh my god I am such a slut for snow dates seriously. Like I love winter and I find it so fuckin ROMANTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUCK!!!!! sorry. But thank you for your kind words!!! I hope you enjoy this, honey~

~Admin MP

  • He’s not very good with the cold sometimes aw
  • Even though he has his hat and gloves on he gets really cold easily
  • So MC always brings extra stuff for him such as hand warmers, ear muffs, fake fur lined gloves, etc
  • Also, they’ll get a huge scarf for the both of them to share like the disgustingly cute couple they are!!
  • The reason they were going out was to go get some coffee at a nearby cafe before Yoosung had class, and MC had offered to just walk with him and make it a mini date
  • It was snowing!!
  • Of course, Yoosung started to shiver, but MC pulled the hand warmers out of their pocket and slid them into Yoosung’s, hugging his arm to help him stay warm
  • They walk together like that, snuggled together, enjoying each other’s company and warmth
  • It also helps with the scarf because now that they’re super close it won’t have to stretch!
  • The snow piles up on their heads and they just laugh because they’ll be inside soon, though Yoosung shakes his head like a dog, snickering, and gets snow all over MC
  • MC retaliates by grabbing some of the snow off of Yoosung’s shoulder and putting it down the back of his coat, cackling at Yoosung’s horrified shriek
  • By the time they get to the cafe, they’re both cold and shivering, but it’s worth it
  • They put two chairs way too close to each other at a table, cuddling together and watching the snow fall out the window of the shop

  • This boy does nothing half assed
  • So when it comes to snow dates for MC, it’s intense as hell
  • We’re talking sledding, snowman making, snow angel making up, snow ball fights, the whole shebang
  • But let’s focus on the sledding, shall we?
  • It would be Seven’s favorite part of the day, to be honest
  • MC’s too
  • They would drive thirty minutes just to find the perfect hill
  • A big ass hill with the steepest slope in the world
  • Walking up it almost makes the both of them have heart palpitations
  • Except they only brought one sled, a long skinny one
  • That means MC sits in front of Seven as he attempts to push them down the hill
  • When that doesn’t work, he gets out, sets the sled at the very edge of the hill, and walks away
  • “Seven, what are you doINGGGGGGGGGGGG” MC shrieks as Seven FLINGS himself into the sled, propelling them both down the hill at the speed of light
  • Of course, they both end up flying off the sled and tumbling down, Seven landing on top of MC and crushing them
  • But they lay at the bottom of the hill, laughing their asses off
  • Then they get back up, sprinting up the hill, soaking wet and red cheeked
  • The whole time they’re giggling

  • The two of them end up walking around town, looking at all the Christmas decorations
  • Before they left, Jaehee made them some coffee and put them in travel cups, making sure they both put gloves on so their hands don’t get burnt by the coffee and don’t get cold
  • As they walk, they link their arms and MC rests their head on Jaehee’s shoulder, pointing out all the pretty Christmas decorations
  • They end up going through some residential areas, looking at all the Christmas lights and laughing at some of the more ridiculous decorations (Jaehee groans at the snowmen pretending to throw up pumpkin guts)
  • As they walk, it starts snowing and snowflakes get stuck in their hair and eyelashes
  • MC stops to look at Jaehee, admiring the way Jaehee’s caramel eyes twinkle in the light from the streetlights and the snowflakes that cling to Jaehee’s eyelashes
  • Unashamed, MC pulls Jaehee closer, kissing her soundly on the lips, their cold cheeks pressing together and becoming warmer at the contact
  • When they pull away, Jaehee’s cheeks are pink, but she yanks MC back to her, their lips meeting again
  • (Basically they make out in the middle of a turnabout in a cul-de-sac)

  • I headcanon heavily that Zen doesn’t know how to ice skate
  • But when MC suggests they go, he hides his apprehension and says yes
  • After all, how hard can it be to ice skate?
  • He figures out later that it’s very, very hard
  • Even though he hasn’t been in years, that doesn’t mean that he’s somehow acquired the skills
  • And as soon as his feet went onto the ice, he started to stumble and barely managed to catch himself on the wall
  • MC glided gracefully out onto the ice, a smile on their face as they caught sight of Zen
  • “Hey, Zenny! Are you ready to skate around?”
  • “oh, you go ahead! I’m still getting my ice legs!” Zen joked, though a beat of sweat formed on his forehead
  • After MC went around the circle a few times, they realized that Zen wasn’t moving, and they went over to see him trying very hard to inch across the ice
  • With a giggle, they offered him their hand and they held tightly to it, helping him skate across the ice, slow and steady
  • Around 20 minutes later, Zen had seemed to get the hang of it and they continued to skate around, enjoying their hands clasped together and the chill of the air

  • As soon as MC found out that Jumin had never gone shopping for a real Christmas tree, they demanded that he go with them to buy one
  • (He can’t say no to MC, especially when they’re giving him that puppy dog look)
  • So, somehow, Jumin finds himself bundled up with MC tugging him along to find a tree to chop down
  • “Jumin, have you used an axe before?”
  • Jumin stares at the axe, confused
  • “It’s… sharp. It will cut a tree.”
  • “o k”
  • MC has the axe.
  • It’s getting later because MC says dusk is the best time
  • Thankfully, the area is lit up by lights, though, so it’s not too dark
  • The two walk along, MC holding Jumin’s hand, axe dangling from their other hand, cover safely covering the axe blade
  • MC likes to sing in the cold, watching the clouds of air puff out in front of him and enjoying the chilly air in their lungs
  • Jumin constantly keeps stopping to hug MC because “they seem cold and need to be warmed up”
  • Finally, they pick a good ass tree (of course Jumin insists on the 7 foot tree) and MC chops it down, Jumin watching with impressed eyes
  • They take it home and Jumin has a bunch of ornaments that he special ordered
  • His favorite ornament is a framed picture of him, Elizabeth 3rd, and MC

  • MC says that they have a surprise for V for their date that night
  • The only thing that they tell him about it is “make sure you bundle up!!”
  • So, of course, he puts on a big fluffy coat and a pair of earmuffs
  • MC gets him a pair of warm gloves
  • It turns out that MC booked them a ride on one of those carriage rides around the city
  • While they drive around, MC tells V everything they see, describing the decorations in detail, marveling over the Christmas lights, laughing quietly at a small child with ice cream who’s shivering
  • In return, V tells MC everything he feels and smells, noticing where they are because of the scent of waffle cones
  • As they drive, MC has the driver stop as they pass a band that’s playing slow, romantic music
  • The two of them get out of the carriage and listen to the music, arms around each other, swaying slowly
  • MC’s head is resting on V’s chest, reveling in the warmth of his body
  • Humming quietly to the music, V rests his cheek on top of MC’s head, pressing a kiss against their hair

  • Saeran really loves the sky
  • Not just clouds–though that is one of his favorites– but sunrises and sunsets too
  • In fact, MC was the one who introduced him to sunsets and he quickly fell in love with the different colors that streaked the skies, telling a unique story every night
  • When it got colder, Saeran was disappointed that they couldn’t go out to watch the sunset as often, but MC planned a very cute date with him
  • They got together some hot chocolate in a very large thermos, bringing two extra cups
  • Then they grabbed a shitload of puffy blankets and everything, piling them outside at the their favorite spot to watch the sunset
  • Next, they made sure Saeran dressed warmly (something he was not very good at doing) and took him out to the spot
  • The two of them cuddled underneath the blankets, watching the sunset and sipping hot chocolate, foregoing the cups to just share the thermos in between them
  • Even though it was cold, they stayed until the stars came out, watching them together
  • There was a shooting star and MC shouted, pointing it out
  • THen they made Saeran wish on it
  • He didn’t tell MC, but he wished that he could stay with them forever.
Supercorp Holiday Prompt #7

7. It’s a masquerade Christmas ball and wtf is that

Kara is fumbling with her bag, trying to find her keys while balancing her donut in the other hand. It has been a long day and at this point, all she wants to do is collapse onto her very comfy couch. She’s in the midst of pulling down her glasses so she can x-ray vision into the bag when she hears the click of stiletto heels on the floor of the hallway. She knows instantly who is approaching her, but she has no idea why.

“Lena! What a surprise!” She shoves her glasses back up her nose, one hand still searching in her bag as she tries to seem less flustered than she is.
