the children were the best actors in this movie

I’m watching The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, Witch, & The Wardrobe and I can’t stop thinking how amazing the children are. Georgie who plays Lucy, is absolutely amazing and had genuine facial cues and reactions that I think rivaled some of the best actors three of four times her age. Edmund, played by Skander Keynes is also a stand out for me. I think the two older children are also very good, William Moseley and Anna Popplewell fit the role perfectly. All of these young actors carried the whole movie and were in 95% of the scenes in the movie. It’s impressive.

This video is basically the movie’s summary but it has these moments:

V. Manucharov: “The character I play and I are very alike, because both of us were underloved in childhood. My parents were constantly working, it was hard time in the country, and there was no time to spend with a child”.

K. Fleysher: “Vyacheslav Manucharov is the best actor! He always surprised me. He looked at me like I was a disgrace when I was dirty from blowing up fireworks, and after shooting the scene he was playing games on my tablet with pleasure”.
