the buttons and little cords on the pendant (

Growing up I read the Sailor Moon manga and watched the anime, and forever fell in love with the story and characters.  I’d been hunting for a pendant that immediately makes me think of Sailor Moon, and upon finding this glorious pendant I built the design around it.  Bold colors, silver, shiny, sparkly, and something that will bring attention to the wearer.  I believe this choker does just that.  It’s wide enough to qualify as a neck cuff, the colors are strong, well balanced, and draw the eye not only to the pendant but the overall design, and the silver gives it a celestial feeling as though the choker contains stars.

This choker has some weight to it.  If it’s too larger for the wearer it’ll lean a bit forward.  I recommend using a safety pin to shorten it a little.  If it’s too small use safety pins to add length.  The clasp is a toggle style; I used a button and created a loop at the end.  This will make it easy to put it and remove, but also makes it secure.

If you’re allergic to metal I recommend you not wear this.

The beads are acrylic, glass, and seed beads.  The cords are made of cotton, not hemp.  the pendant is faceted glass with silver-colored backing and a metal hook/ring holding it to the choker.

Length of the choker: 16.5 inches / 42 cm
Width: 1.5 inches / 4 cm
Width plus the pendant: 3 inches / 7.5 cm

I will be insuring this when shipping it, hence the slightly higher shipping costs.

im supposed to be working on my project bUT

my next ap art piece is on scratchboard, and since i was unfamiliar with using actual scratchboard tools, i decided to practice on the little scrap that came with the toolset. i had to coat it with ink myself so that was cool i guess

The winter moon holds many secrets, but when it rises among barren trees it’s reveals slowly the winter landscape. Ice and frost sparkle not as frost but as crystal, as beautiful as they are cold. The shadows are sharp, contrasting against the white snow. The blinding white of day is tempered by the nights gentle touch…until you step out into the winter night.

This beautiful choker is made using cotton cord (not hemp), transparent iridescent seed beads, cracked silver lined glass beads, a metal pendant (nickel-free pewter), and a metal button toggle. The choker has some weight to it due to all the beads, but not significant. If it’s too large for you it may lean a little forward, but you can shorten the length with a safety pin. The closure is pictured here; it’s a button through a loop, making it easy to take on and off but also secure.

If you’re allergic to metal I strongly recommend you not wear this due to the metal touching your skin.

Length: 14 inches / 35.5 cm
Width: 1 inch / 2.5 cm
Width with the pendant: 1.75 inches / 4.5 cm
