the bright difference on the scenes are such a mess jeez

It’s Okay, I Hate Me Too. (Langst)

I posted this on AO3, but I decided to post it on here too because I love it so much ahah (also this is OOC)~

Being overlooked wasn’t a foreign feeling for Lance.

Back at the Garrison, he often heard a plethora of insults directed towards him, said by students and instructors alike. A lot of them from Iverson, the dude who oversaw the cadets. Man, he hated Iverson.

He happened to be strolling past a group of his peers. They were looking at him from the wall they were propped up against.

“Did you hear about that one guy Lance? He just failed his simulation test for the fifth time in a row.”

“Yeah, I did. The dude’s pathetic. How’d he even get accepted into the Garrison in the first place?”

“He only got into the fighter pilot class because Keith dropped out. I’m shocked Lance wasn’t the one to get dropped.”

“He can’t even handle the shit in the cargo pilot class. He’s pathetic.”

Lance just smiled. It’s okay, I hate me too.

“We’re going to have to visit the Worbla planet for some supply negotiations,”  Allura says, after shortly gathering all the paladins plus Coran for a meeting. “The Worblon are fairly nice aliens, so the negotiations should go fairly quickly. So be on your best behavior,” Her light tone disappears as her eyes land on Lance. The mood suddenly becomes more hostile. “Especially you, Lance. You stay in the back. I don’t want you messing this up.”

Lance lets out a nervous, breathy laugh. “Got it, princess.” Allura narrows her eyes even more. Great, she doesn’t trust me. I should’ve seen that coming, though.

The castle-ship lands on the planet. The Worblon gather around the paladins in awe, talking amongst themselves.

“Can you believe it?! It’s the paladins of Voltron!”

“Strong and mighty, strong and mighty.”

Allura gains a confident stature when the leader of the Worblon comes forward. They both go somewhere else to talk. Shiro and Keith have a private conversation. Pidge and Hunk had a ‘who can fit their fist into their mouth’ competition. Lance stood by himself until several aliens approached him.

“Excuse me,” The Worblon said, looking up at Lance. “Aren’t you the blue paladin of Voltron?”

Lance gave a soft smile. “Yeah, I am. I pilot one of the legs.” And I’m also the most overlooked member of Voltron…

“You’re not as uptight as the other members,” Another smiled. “I like that. You’re very lighthearted. I don’t think you get stressed in battle. The others are so serious, so scary. You’re, ah, cool.” Lance’s eyes lit up and he gave a genuine grin. This was the first compliment he’s ever received.

“Thank you.”

LANCE!” A voice screeched from behind him. He turned around and saw the fuming face of Allura stomping towards him. Her fists were balled up, and she had gritted teeth. The Worblon he talked to slowly backed away. Lance gulped. What did I do now?

“I specifically told you to stay in the back! What are you even doing?!” She yelled, and the other paladins looked at Lance. They all had the expression of “Jeez Lance, you already messed up?”.
“You’re messing things up again, aren’t you?!”

She turned towards the Worblon. “I apologize for whatever he did. He doesn’t seem to have any seriousness in his body.” The Worblon looked at her, confused.

“He didn’t do anything wrong. In fact, we were just complimenting him. You should be more like him, he’s very lighthearted compared to the serious faces of you guys.”

Allura just gave a forced smile and commanded all of the paladins to go back onto the castle-ship.

“Did you trick the Worblon or something?” Allura asked him later, during a meeting. “We all know the real you. You’re not the one to be complimented on.” Ouch.

“Yeah,” Pidge piped up. “You don’t take anything seriously. You don’t do well in battle either. What’s there to compliment?” The others laughed. Lance just bit his lip and exited the room. It’s okay, I hate me too.

Well, at least the Worblon were nice enough to compliment him.

Lance and the other paladins were currently in a battle with the Galra. Ships surrounded them.

“Pidge, use your invisibility cloak to get us close to the main ship. Keith and I will cover while you and Hunk shut down their ion cannons. Hopefully Pidge will get the information they need,” Shiro speaks from the com, but pauses. “Oh, and Lance, just don’t do anything stupid. We don’t need you goofing off and jeopardizing the mission.”

Lance sighed. “Got it.”

They all split up, each lion tackling their own problem. Lance just wandered around, carefully aiming the giant energy rifle on his lion to blast random Galra ships in his line of vision. He wanted to be careful, because if he fucked something up, then Shiro was going to scold and berate him while the other paladins looked at him with no pity.

Suddenly, the ion cannon blasted Blue, and she went spiraling off into space. Lance got dislodged from his seat and was hitting nearly every wall inside of Blue.

A weird-looking sheet of metal got lodged into Lance’s side. He screamed in pain, and he widened his eyes at the sight of the blood. Another piece of metal punctured Lance’s right eye. He saw a flash of blindingly bright light, and then darkness. He screamed his heart out, and then blacked.

When he woke up, he discovered that the inside of Blue looked like a crime scene. Blood was everywhere. He looked down at his armor to find out that it was damaged severely.

“You okay, Blue?” He rasped, and Blue responded with a purr. She was alright. “Good. ‘Cause I’m going to need you to fly us back to the castle-ship. She started moving.

He reached for his helmet and put it on, hoping to communicate with his teammates to signal that he strayed. Instead, he heard more slander.

“Lance screwed up again. “ Pidge.

“We clearly gave him instructions, how hard is it to follow them?” Keith.

“They were simple orders. I’m honestly kind of shocked.” Hunk.

“Don’t be. When he gets back, I’ll make sure to reprimand him for the trouble he’s caused.” Allura.

“I second that. He needs to learn to take things seriously. We’re saving the universe, this isn’t a board game.” Shiro.

Lance threw his helmet to the other side of the area. He felt tears coming out of his eyes, and he released a shaky breath. He tried his best to huddle into a ball. It’s okay, I hate me too.

Lance put Blue into her hangar and slowly limped into the halls of the castle. He was forced to perform an impromptu stitching on his side with a random first-aid kit he found because the wound was starting to become worse. His eye, however, was a different story. It was still bleeding, and the area around it was slightly swollen.

He heard the voices of his teammates coming from the meeting hall. Holding his side, he limped over to the door. He stopped when he heard the topic the teammates were talking about.

“Honestly, Lance is quite pathetic. He can’t hold off very well on his own, judging by his performance in this battle.”

“He didn’t get his beauty sleep,” A chorus of laughs echoed. “You know how terrible he gets without his beauty sleep. Or manicure, whatever.”

“He acts so much like a kid. How did his parents even deal with him? He’s in his late teens. I’m sure his family was glad when they heard the news of him moving out.”

“He’s a walking, talking disaster.”

Lance slowly opened the door and limped into the room. His teammates, Allura, and Coran gasped at the sight they saw. That was the first time he saw the look of sympathy directed towards him on their faces. He coughed, and blood splattered onto the floor. He gave a weak smile.

“It’s okay, I hate me too.”

Can we get a makeout scene with Rick where they get caught by Morty & it turns into this hilarious thing? With a flustered reader, cocky Rick, & embarrassed Morty? lol

I read this ask and immediately knew exactly what I was going to write! I love these types of scenarios! they’re always pretty great!

It was a pretty regular day, Rick was tinkering around in his garage and of course, you were hanging out with him as always. Even if he didn’t say too much you just loved being close to him. You often watched as he tinkered around and you’d chuckle softly to yourself when you’d hear him start cursing if a certain thing didn’t go his way the first time.

Today was no different. You propped yourself up against the laundry machine as you sipped on a glass of iced tea, you watched in amusement as Rick would go around the small area, rummaging through some of his old boxes on the shelves to find whatever it was he was looking for but stopped mid-stride and looked at you.

“You look bored.” He cocked an eyebrow at you.

You hadn’t realized that you had drifted off into your own little world, staring at the cement floor that you were standing on. You snapped out of your daze when you heard Rick’s voice and looked at him with a small smile.

“I am a little bit..” you mumbled lowly.

“Then why don’t you go back to your place? You know I’m not, I’m not h-holding you, prisoner, here.” Rick crossed his arms over his chest.

“I know’s just..I want to spend time with you.. You’re always so busy.” You averted your gaze as a small blush crept up your face. It was still hard to show as some would say ‘cheesy’ affections towards Rick in fear of what he would say.

“Is that right?” You heard him say. You still made no attempt to look over at him.

You heard some shuffling and soon after you felt Rick’s hand on your face. You jumped a little from surprise and looked up at him as he ran his thumb across your cheek. “Well, I better entertain you then..” Your heart rate picked up at those words and you were finding it difficult to form words of your own. Although, not much could be said because he leaned in and kissed your lips softly.

You had to admit you were taken back by the sudden action, it wasn’t like Rick to initiate kissing. you weren’t about to ask him why though because you didn’t want it to stop. You let out a very small yelp when you felt him grip your legs just under your butt and lift you so you were now sitting on top of the laundry machine. Your arms slung over his shoulders before you tilted your head, trying to deepen the kiss.

You let out a small soft groan when you felt Rick slip his tongue into your mouth pushing it against your own. You felt his hands on your hips and he was pushing you back a little more onto the laundry machine. your leg instantly spread apart so that Rick would be more comfortable.

This was risky, very risky. Usually, when this sort of thing happened it happened in the comfort of your own home. Out of sight and there for out of mind of others but it happened so suddenly you really didn’t want it to stop at all. Your brain was slowly forgetting where exactly you were right now.

Rick moved to kiss down to your neck and that’s when you heard it. The loud horrified shriek coming from the other side of the garage. your body froze as you stared wide eyed. Rick forgot to close the garage door and there, standing in the opening was none other than Rick’s grandson Morty. you tried to shrink yourself behind Rick’s form to hide from the younger boy, your face flared up into a bright shade of pink.

“It’s called knocking.” Rick looked over his shoulder, rolling his eyes before a very playful smirk adorned his features.

“K-K-Knocking!? K-Knocking!!? Are you freaking kidding me Rick!! The-The-The garage door is wide open for, for everyone to see you both!! Is, Is that our neighbor!? Jeez, Rick, this is messed up!!” Morty yelled horrified.

“W-Wait… We can explain..” You stuttered out as you pushed Rick off of you so that you could get off of the laundry machine.

“E-Explain what!? H-How-How-How Rick had his tongue jammed down y-y-your throat!?” Morty grimaced at the thought and shut his eyes.

“N-Nevermind! I don’t want to picture it! Gross!” Morty blindly started to bump into things as he tried to make his way to the back to get through the door.

“Better hurry up Morty- I wasn’t finished with her.” Rick grinned wickedly and you gave him a small smack to his shoulder.

“D-Don’t tell me, Rick! Jeez! Ugh.. I need bleach for my eyes!!” Morty finally felt his way to the door and twisted the knob open. “Y-You’re lucky I d-don’t tell mom!”

you covered your face with your hands in complete embarrassment. You wouldn’t be visiting the Smith/Sanchez house for quite awhile now.

At the Same Level.

a/n okay, so this is actually requested by @fannyfransiscaaa. I don’t know if she’d like this as much as i do, but let’s just hope this is also her cup of tea x

Saturday, 9pm.

Nothing much different than any other weekends. The apartment is quiet. You, reading a book you haven’t got the chance to finish it since last month and Youngjae, your flat-mate, busy clicking mouse and torturing the keypad with eyes locked on bright computer screen.

You and him are not fond of going out on weekends, because both of you share the same thought; why would one go out on weekend when they were out everyday on weekdays? Were those 5 days not enough?

“Youngjae!” You shouted from your room. You always let your door open. Except when you are showering or sleeping, of course.

“Hm?” He hummed, without taking his eyes off the screen.

“I am hungry.” He kept quiet, waiting for your next chain of words. “Want to order some chicken?”

“No, shit!”

A Head, A Heart, & A Movie {Biadore} Chapter 1 -C*NT

A/N: I want to apologize to all of the mobile readers because this is a 7.5k monstrosity. But on the other hand, I know you guys love the long chapters so I hope you all like this! Sorry it’s been so long since I updated last, I’ve had a battle with writers block and it was winning for quite some time. For those who are just tuning in, this is the sequel story to A Head, A Heart, & A Crown, so it’s set in the same universe. Of course, this AU is about Bianca and Adore begining to film Hurricane Bianca 2, but there is going to be a more established side of Witney for this one(is it really one of my fics if there isnt a side of Witney?) as well. TW for alcohol, a panic attack and weed. And as always, a tad bit of angst. Enjoy!! 💕 PS: If I ever write a short A/N, something is seriously wrong lol.

Nalu Week 2014 Prompt 1: Gift

“The Best Birthday Gift”

To say that Natsu was bad at buying gifts was like saying the ocean had a lot of water. On their first anniversary, Lucy received what Natsu called “the gift of love”. Quickly realizing that the boy had forgotten their special day, she obviously flipped and ended up receiving a very sincere apology and a bouquet of carnations as well. On Valentine’s Day he did remember, but it was clear that this wasn’t until the last minute. Lucy got a simple card from the grocers and was taken out to eat at a lovely restaurant. Unfortunately the couple had to wait hours for their food because Natsu had forgotten to make a reservation. If Natsu went on a mission without Lucy for whatever reason, he always promised to bring back a souvenir for her. These souvenirs however, ranged from rocks to bugs, and even the occasional rusty pipe; each coming with a story of something cool he’d seen or something expensive he’d broken. With seeing the light in his eyes as he told his tales, Lucy was then inclined to keep these items-at least until Natsu had left. Yes, Lucy knew that Natsu was terrible at getting gifts, but she really didn’t mind. It was always interesting to see just what would be tied with a ribbon and tossed at her on special occasions, and she was quickly able to adjust her standards to those of her bizarre boyfriend.

One occasion though, was different from the rest. This occasion was Lucy’s birthday.

A stream of light passed through the curtains and hit Lucy’s delicate sleeping face, waking her up. She sat up in her bed with her eyes still closed and stretched out her arms. Suddenly a warm scent of various foods wafted by her nose and fully woke her. She opened he eyes and smiled, taking in a deep breath of the sweet aroma.

“Mmm.. Now what could that be?” The blonde questioned aloud.

As if to answer her question, Natsu entered through her bedroom door with a tray in his hands.

“Morning, Lucy!"

"Natsu?!” Lucy said in shock.

Natsu snickered as he placed the tray on Lucy’s lap.

“Surprise!” He said before giving Lucy a light kiss on the forehead.

Lucy looked down at the tray to see a plate filled with eggs, bacon, toast and fresh berries.

“Whoa! Natsu, how did you do this?"

"I got here early this morning and went through the window as usual. You’re a really heavy sleeper, Luce.”

“No, Idiot! I meant how did you make all this? I didn’t know you could cook. You always make me cook for you.”

“We’ll yeah, weirdo. I lived on my own for a long time so I had to learn the basics. I just like your food better! Now eat before it gets cold."

Lucy took a bite of the eggs and smiled.

"These are pretty good. Thank you, Natsu! But can I ask why you did this for me?”

Natsu smirked “Wow, you really are a weird one, Lucy. It’s your birthday isn’t it?”

Lucy’s eyes widened. She looked to her bedside calendar and realized that it was indeed July 1st-her birthday.

“It’s my birthday? How did I forget?! But, you remembered!” Lucy said ecstatically.

Natsu laughed. “Jeez, Luce. How did you forget your own birthday? Well whatever. Just eat up so we can head to the guild I can give you your gift.”

“I need to wait until we get to the guild?”

“Yup! That’s just how special it is!” He said, flashing his signature grin.

Lucy smiled back as she took the last bite of her breakfast.

“We’ll if that’s the case, I’ll go get dressed so we can go.”

Lucy got out of her bed and took a step to her bathroom but then stopped.

“Oh, I think I left my laundry on the kitchen table. I’ll just go ge-”

Natsu grabbed onto her wrist and stopped her before she could get any further.

“What’s wrong?” Lucy asked, spinning around to face him.

Natsu laughed nervously and rubbed the back of his neck.

“Well, I may have made a bit of mess while I was making your breakfast.”

Lucy growled and narrowed her eyes at the boy in front of her.

“My kitchen better be spotless by the time I finish getting ready or you’re finished, understood?” She said threateningly.

Natsu could only nod in agreement as he slowly released Lucy’s hand and backed out of the room.

After the mess was cleaned and Lucy was dressed, the two left Lucy’s home and started their trek to the guild.

“Hey, where is Happy?” Lucy asked.

“He didn’t want to wake up early so he stayed home. He’ll meet us at the guild though.”

Lucy nodded in acknowledgement and continued on.

Soon they came across a bridge and Natsu’s eyes lit up.

“Hey, let’s go sit over there for a minute."

"Sure but wh- Natsu!"

Lucy screamed as she was dragged by the fire mage all the way to the middle of the bridge. Said mage sat Lucy on a bench and plopped himself down next to her.

"It’s really pretty over here, but why are we here?” Lucy questioned, looking around at the beautiful lake surrounding the bridge.

“Well, I thought it would be a good place to give you this.”

Natsu reached into his pocket and took out a small white box, about the size of a brick. The box was adorned with a bright red ribbon, as all of his presents were.

He dropped the box in Lucy’s lap and smiled at her with anticipation.

Lucy smiled back and began to unravel the not-so-neat ribbon.  She prepared herself for the worst as she lifted the lid from the box and looked down. To her surprise, she saw not a random trinket or strange artifact, but a small brown leather pouch.

Her mouth opened wide as she picked up the pouch and looked it over.

“Is this for my keys?” She asked happily

“Yup. You said the one you have is starting to rip, and we don’t want you losing any of your spirits. It even has the slip at the back so you can put it on your belt. I hope you like it.”

Lucy looked down again at the small pouch designed with black stars and smiled even brighter. For once, one of Natsu’s gifts was thoughtful, practical and downright cute.

“I love it. Thank you, Natsu.” She said before kissing him on the cheek.

“No problem, Luce. Why don’t you make sure all your keys fit?”

“Sure.” Lucy answered. She opened up her new pouch to put her keys in, but upon opening it she realized it wasn’t empty. She curiously reached in and pulled out a small black box.

“Natsu, what’s this?” She asked

“Open it and see.” Natsu answered.

When Lucy opened the box, she froze. Her eyes widened and she gasped at the sight. Inside was a sparkling diamond ring on a silver band.

“Natsu, is this…?”

Natsu laughed at the blonde’s priceless expression and got up from the bench. He got down on his knee in front of Lucy and took her hand.

“Lucy, everything changed when I met you. Everything that I’ve been through with you by my side has made me a better, stronger person. You’re my best friend and I’m sure that I love you more than I’ve ever loved anyone in my life, well, besides Igneel or Happy, but that’s different love. Actually, I think you’re the only one I loved this way before.” Natsu rambled whilst trying to hold back from blushing.

He laughed awkwardly and cleared his throat before continuing. “Anyways, I wanna keep going on adventures and making memories with you for the rest of my life. But first I wanna make you my mate. Will you marry me, Lucy?”

Lucy couldn’t stop the heavy flow of joyous tears that came pouring from her eyes.

“Y-yes! Yes, Natsu!”

Lucy grabbed the boy by his scarf and pulled him into a kiss, dropping the ring box in her lap. When the two separated, they couldn’t help but smile and giggle a bit while looking into each other’s eyes. Natsu picked up the ring box from her lap and took out the ring. He took Lucy’s left hand and slipped the ring on her finger, all the while smiling like a love-struck idiot.

“Wanna head down to the guild now?”

Lucy nodded ecstatically. The happy couple got up and made their way to Fairy Tail hand in hand.

“She said yes!” Natsu yelled as he burst through the guild doors, a blushing Lucy right by his side.

Rambunctious cheers erupted throughout the guild in their honor.

“Oi Flame brain, did you make sure you did everything correctly?” Gray hollered from his table

“Obviously, ice prick. I got down on one knee and everything. I’m not stupid!”

“Says the guy who was practically begging everyone to teach you what to do!” Gray said smugly.

“You wanna go, stripper?!”

“You’re on, candlestick!”

Lucy could only roll her eyes as she left the scene of the newly formed brawl to go sit with Levy.

“Happy Birthday, Lu-chan!” Levy said, giving her friend a tight hug.

“Thanks, Levy-chan.” Lucy answered hugging the girl back.

“So, I guess you love your gift, huh?” Levy joked.

“Yeah, I love it more than anything.”

“Well, it is a beautiful ring!”

Lucy smiled and shook her head.

“No, that’s not really what I meant.”

Her smile brightened as she looked at her new fiancé from across the guild.

“For someone who’s so bad at gifts, he’s the best gift I’ve ever gotten.”
