do you like sports? american football in particular? a good concept is sheith football au where shiro is the star quarterback and keith is the wide receiver and there's a lot of sexual tension, but they're just bros amirite

i’ve been waiting for this au my entire life tbh

consider: shiro will only sign with a team if they agree to take keith and vice versa. someone sacks shiro and keith rips off his helmet and tries to start shit even though it was totally legal. someone spears keith and shiro cradles keith in his arms even though keith is completely fine and the whole team is like… come on guys. and then shiro runs in a touch down and his entire celly is him and keith intensely hugging in front of god and man and 76,000 fans.

Prompt: The new High Warlock of Brooklyn Lorenzo shows up at a Downworlder cabinet meeting. It's almost a tie between which of the rest of the leaders present hates him the most. (basically a fic about Alec, Luke and Raphael being protective pretty pls)

Hi!
I really enjoyed writing this, so I hope you’ll like it :) I made it a little bit angsty because I was in the mood for a bit of angst :P

Read on AO3

Something ugly twists in Alec’s chest as he walks in the living room, straightening the sleeves of his jacket, and he catches Magnus’ silhouette out of the corner of his eye; he’s on the balcony, looking out, his posture rigid even though his arms are elegantly crossed on the balustrade.

I pull Assass down on to the couch. Assass rests perfectly in the crook of my arm, as though she was meant to be there. I stroke Assass hair gently out of her eyes, imploring genuinely, 'tell me about your day, my dearest Assass.'

AssAss drew in a breath and sigh, nuzzling in. “Well, nobody will pay any attention to AssAss as of lately. It’s very depressing.” They looked down at their lap. “And then, so,even random person came in, pulled AssAss onto the couch and wrapped their arms around AssAss. There are several questions about this person running through AssAss’ head.”

Who was this person? How did they get into AssAss’ house? Did they realize that their narrator was misgendering AssAss? Several questions arose.

I think the most beautiful thing about Diana is that she doesn’t fight the patriarchy.  She just flat out doesn’t acknowledge that it exist.  A room where women aren’t allowed?  Gender rules about sleeping with someone? Bruce grabbing her arm in a power play?  Diana’s all just, you’re doing what now? She’s a Princess and a Goddess, so way more powerful than you on any kind of scale.  She’s just gonna lol in your face any time the patriarchy comes up because she’s the most powerful person in the room at any given time, so she doesn’t have time for men to mess around pretending they have a say in anything she does.

How do you throw throwing knives properly?

well, first off you need a good throwing knife. knives are like people: most of them are good for one thing but not for others, like steve with throwing shields and steve with applying basic common sense. or like thor with electrocuting things and eating spicy foods. or clint with shooting arrows and basically any other facet of human life.

anyway, a good throwing knife will be quite sharp on the point but blunted along the sides–sticks in the target but doesn’t cut your hands. the point and blade should be pretty thick, and the fewer perforations in the blade the better. throwing knives have to withstand a hard impact without breaking, so you want a decent quality knife, and the heavier it is (within limits) the less force you’ll need on your throw.

you’ll want a good target to learn with, something big and soft enough that you’ll hit it and that your knife will embed so you know where you hit, but not so soft the knives fall out. deadpool may volunteer for this job. do not take him up on it. the commentary is not worth it.

grip the tip of the knife vertically between the pad of your thumb and the side of your index fingers. hold it firmly enough that it won’t slide in your grip but not too hard.

stand with the foot on the side of your throwing hand pointed at your target, spine straight. start close to the target (another reason not to use deadpool–blood splatters farther than you think) and work your way back as you figure things out. the biggest part is learning to throw with enough force and rotation so the pointy end sticks in your target. it’ll take time, and there’s really no shortcut for just putting in the practice hours.

if this does not work out for you, i recommend grenades for all your low-accuracy distance combat needs.

Hello friend! Although I've been practicing in digital art for almost 3 years, I'm never completely satisfied by the result of my works. I usually never like the coloring. And from what I've seen you have the most unique and beautiful coloring style. So, I wanted to ask you, how did you find it? How did you expirement and settled in this style? Thank you for your time!

!!!! Thank you so much! ;v;

We’ll start with ygo !!  because everything else before that is Dark Past and absolutely terrifying Never Again

early 2015, I used to try doing semirealistic art because artists like jiyu-kaze, artgerm, and sakimichan
the last piece took probably 2 weeks???? it was painful lmao

I used to do the thing where you painted everything in grayscale first and then used a bunch of layer modes to layer colors on top, inspired by this, and it carried over to my tg art. it would take maybe long time to finish anything because I didn’t really know how to use it correctly.

Then my style started off being inspired by sui-zakki  (the author of tg), especially these pieces xx, x

I switched to using base colors after a while and tried to paint the way ishida did. I really liked the way that his art wasn’t exactly smooth?? or that you could still see the edges of each color next to each other… the colors looked really sharp and abstract. You could say this is the start of the style I have right now <:
Along with base colors, I used a lot of lumi & shade layers to add highlights and shadows. My backgrounds were usually a lot softer and sort of random at the time (I think you can see my style improvement best through the way I drew/colored my backgrounds ‘v’ )

Around 2016ish, the colors I used were lighter because I used less lumi & shade and used more on overlay and multiply layers (this is what I do now) or by coloring with only changes in opacity (this was mostly influenced by ammeja). There’s the prominent geometric edges or whatever in my colors because I started using a more square-ish brush for everything and I really liked how it looked when the colors weren’t seamlessly blended together. (the victor in the center was my first yoi fan art, he looks so different now asjdfjgjgjgjf :’> )

I color in a more blocky/geometric style, and instead of painting my pieces and smoothing them out like the ones above, I just stuck with sketches/lineart (this old tg piece is the one that got me to stick to lineart).
My coloring was mainly influenced by barachan, lanxin, and seventypercentethanol, and their pieces like xx, x
yahoberries (I love her art so much you don’t understand) influenced my blue/white outlines as well as the stray blob of colors that I sometimes don’t erase around my art
I really like crystal/gem-looking colors, and having geometric shapes as highlights or shades looked pretty cool too, so that’s how my style happened <3

Hey, art or something!

My wrist feels beter for the most part. It still hurts when I draw for too long, but at least I can actually draw now. All that’s left is to reteach myself how to draw lol

My headcanon is that Fi’s body is composed of a mixture of very rare material from Hyrule and the Fairy Realm and some of the materials used for her don’t exist anymore. Fi infuses the cape she wears (and any other clothing with long sleeves) with magic so she can move them to some degree, but nothing very fine tuned. The prosthetic arms are made from a mixture of materials close to Fi’s actual body composition so she can use them as actual arms.

Fi’s prosthetic arms probably aren’t really going to show up in any of my comics or other art. Not on this blog. They will, however, show up on a specific blog not meant for children. Cough.
