the angels network

So much love ~

I started this network a year ago with absolutely no expectation that it would be this successful. The girls in the network became family in such a short amount of time and we’re all so close that I can honestly say that I have no idea where i’d be without them.

I never thought I’d connect on a personal level with people I’ve never met! We all look out for each other, tell secrets, and even share things not many know about us in real life.

Being in this network makes me feel safe. Knowing I can call these girls my friends/sisters gives me so much joy even when we’re states apart, or half a world apart.

We range in race, age, destination, religion… but that doesn’t matter to us. This network isnt just about gaining and connecting with followers. Its also about growing and helping each other grow.

I honestly would not be surprised if my girls show up at my wedding one day or even get to be bridesmaids. They’re that amazing. We always have each others back, always there to comfort each other, give advice, make each other laugh (literally tears of laughter), and we bond/fan girl over soooo many things. (bachelor being one of them omg)

25k+ followers ago, before we launched, before I recruited, I didnt know many people on here to start a network nor even know how to run one in the first place but these girls made is easy and fun. I love you girls!

And for any prospected applicants, I highly recommend you apply! We’re so eager to get to know you!

THIS. IS. NOT. NORMAL! White House blocks news outlets from media briefing
The White House has blocked several high-profile media outlets from its press briefing. The Trump administration on Friday blocked legacy outlets including CNN, BBC, The New York Times, LA Times, the New York Daily News, the Daily Mail, and others from the White House press briefing. Officials also approved outlets who typically provide favourable coverage of the new administration. Several media outlets including the Associated Press and TIME Magazine declined to attend the briefing to boycott the President's decision.

Justin Carissimo at The Independent:

The White House has blocked several major news outlets from covering its press briefing.

White House Press Secretary Spicer on Friday hand selected news outlets to participate in an off-camera “gaggle” with reporters inside his West Wing office instead of the James S Brady Press Briefing Room.

The news outlets blocked from the press briefing include organisations who President Trump has criticised by name. CNN, BBC, The New York Times, LA Times, New York Daily News, Daily Mail, were among the news outlets barred from the gathering.

Instead, the press secretary hand-picked news outlets including Breitbart News, One America News Network, The Washington Times, all news organisations with far-right leanings. Others major outlets approved for t group included ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox News, Reuters and Bloomberg.

“Nothing like this has ever happened at the White House in our long history of covering multiple administrations of different parties,” Dean Baquet, executive editor of The New York Times said in a statement. “We strongly protest the exclusion of The New York Times and the other news organizations. Free media access to a transparent government is obviously of crucial national interest.”

Several media outlets including the Associated Press and TIME Magazine declined to attend the briefing to boycott the President’s decision.

The White House Correspondents’ Association also criticised the decision.

“The WHCA board is protesting strongly against how today’s gaggle is being handled by the White House,” Jeff Mason, the association’s president, said in a statement.

“We encourage the organizations that were allowed in to share the material with others in the press corps who were not. The board will be discussing this further with White House staff.”

And it’s also anti-American, to boot.

The refreshing wind blew past Jungkook’s cheeks as he shoved his hands further into the jean pockets. A cheesy grin was plastered on his face as his steps made their way up to his girlfriend’s doorstep, where a mat lay comfortably with the word ‘Welcome’ written across in bold letters. It wasn’t long before his knock on the door was met with hurrying footsteps on wooden floorboards and a beaming smile across her lips. She squinted one eye closed, the other peeking through the peephole in the door, eyes meeting Jungkook’s face pressed up against the door, pulling faces through the hole. She hid a snicker under the palm of her hand as Jungkook heard her laughter, throwing a peace sign her way.

“Princess, let down your hair,” he rehearsed, throwing dramatic gestures into the air, getting more into character with each laugh heard from her.

“Only the finest dancer in all the land can open this door,” she giggled, clasping her hands together as she watched him take on the challenge. She observed as he bowed to the door, one hand out to hold hers.

“My lady, will you take this dance?” He grinned, fringe falling with his bow as he peeked his eyes up to the peephole. The door swung open as she took his hand in hers, pulling him towards her, his arms wrapped around her waist, the two of them in a loving embrace. She grinned into his shoulder as he pulled her closer, feeling his heart beating out of his chest. “Ready?” She nodded into his chest, soon looking up to Jungkook’s deep brown gaze. He brushed a strand of hair back behind her ear, “You look beautiful today, Lillien.”
