I always want to see more acrobatic stuff with Raz. :)
It took awhile but here! Seriously, I love that there’s a plausible reason for Raz being so good at the platformer puzzles in Psychonauts. I wonder if he visits his family at the circus sometimes to perform super fancy stunts with some psychic abilities added in for extra showy-ness :’D My sister is also struggling through the Meat Circus level currently, and I couldn’t help drawing something for it Ovo;;; wish her luck
Also, kind of unrelated, I bet the Aquatos have circus animals. Like elephants. Or a tiger Raz has become really close with because one day he found out he could talk to her :’)
can you tell me about the bts ships? not just otp's, brotps too!
YESSsssSSS I CAN TALK ABOUT BTS SHIPS ALL DAY FAM
but ill only talk about the ones im familiar with:
1. YOONMIN (yoongi/jimin):
ok holy shit where the FUCK do i start with yoonmin. they’ve been my bts otp since day 1 so i have a LOT TO FUCKING SAY LOL
first off, refer to this post as to why i started shipping them, they have a LOT of cute fucking moments predebut and its been a painfully beautiful journey ever since 2013
before we jump in we need to talk about how YOONGI WROTE A SONG FOR JIMIN BECAUSE HE ADMIRES HOW HARDWORKING JIMIN IS. IF THAT AINT REAL THEN GET TF OUT OF MY FACE LMAo like where dat song @ tho yoongs
ok i need to chill, but theres more:
like jimin being yoongi’s #1 cheerleader at ISAC lmao look at him cheer his name in front of all the fans and other idols with ZERO shame, and then there’s yoongi pretending like he doesnt hear him #typical
^ TYPICAL YOONGI. this ship is very love-hate. mostly false pretense of hate on yoongi’s end and WAAAY TOO MUCH SHAMELESS LOVIN on jimin’s end BUT we all know yoongi’s putting up a front. like there’s actually so many subtle moments where he reveals how much he cares for jimin and they kill me every time, like this one:
but then right back to pretending like he dont give a fuck lmfao:
ALSO THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST LEGENDARY YOONMIN MOMENTS, THE “YOU KNOW. I KNOW.” MOMENT (explanation here) :
this whole v app broadcast was a yoonmin fest and it was a blessing. jimin got him a sweater for yoongis birthday and they basically confessed on live broadcast that they’re soulmates. ugh im so sensitive about this moment
yoonmin are polar opposites and that heart-pulling cold/warm dynamic they have is super shippable, thus the reason why they’re one of the most popular ships in this fandom
yoongi puts on a cold exterior and doesn’t really show his emotions. jimin on the other hand is super openly loving towards others, especially yoongi, and its really fucking cute how yoongi reciprocates sometimes
Aries: their hilarious commentary of the paintings is literally making everyone die of laughter and raising a few eyebrows.
Taurus: is here at the art gallery because a friend dragged them here. They either like the art or they hate it, there is no in between.
Gemini: is the one who knew about the artist and followed them on insta when they only had 1000 followers, *feels like a proud parent that the artist became big and is now in this famous gallery*
Cancer: turns the gallery into a their personal photoshoot space, takes so many pictures because they are excited. no one minds though, everyone thinks they are cute.
Leo: *is the only one who actually would pay 100k for a painting* “THIS IS PERFECTION, I WANT IT”
Virgo: the one who is dragging their friends to the gallery
Libra: gets inspired by the art they saw and channels the inspiration into creating a masterpiece, whether it be art, music, writing or cultivating new ideas.
Scorpio: goes home and researches the artist if they like them and within 10 hours they are an official expert on the artist and are planning their next trip to another exhibit by the aforesaid artist.
Sagittarius: “this is so different” (inner sagittarius- I don’t really get it but its cool still like I like that I dont get it you know, the painting intrigues me..anyway i’m posting to insta to show off my artsy side)
Capricorn: “oh my…” (inner capricorn- so the dude literally painted a red circle and its $100,000…… LMFAOO this is a joke right????)
Aquarius: watches the online video tour of the gallery because they can’t be bothered to wait for 2 hours in line to get in.
Pisces: Has visited the art gallery 3 times because they loved it and also the cafe in the gallery has amazing hot chocolate but thats not the point :p. The first time they went alone, the second with their friends and the third time they went was on a date. Is still fascinated each time.

P*ul straight up wants to do blackface to mock Dominique after all y’all cockroaches were saying “race isn’t a part of the game!!!1!!111!” lmao maybe next time people say they’re peepin shit maybe you should shut the fuck up, sit the fuck down, and listen.
[SUBSEQUENT EDITS FOR CONTEXT]
1. the video my post was based on can be found here (1). Two other videos can be found here (2) & here (3). P*ul’s initial intentions were to dress like a snake in an attempt to taunt Dominque at the veto ceremony and live show. However, especially with the recipient being a black woman, the decision to use a black face mask (like a cleansing face mask) is essentially blackface and that it how it would be perceived, and deciding to go through with it is, at best, willfully ignorant.
3. Make sure you watch the videos yourself to make your own judgement. I’ve watched and read others’ posts and I’ve made mine. Some people really think he’s “just trying to dress like a snake” and that the black face mask is just a part of the costume, without any other relation to race. However, I’d like to point out that Dominique will have no heads-up that he wants to do this. Think of how she would perceive it. Think of how unaware the houseguests would have to be to not see the implications. And also the face mask isn’t necessary for the snake costume. I also added in a reblog but my word choice of “mock” meant as in mocking her claim that he’s a snake, that it’s belittling to try to taunt her by doing this, etc., and that to me is mocking, but I realize if that’s the first thing you read about this circumstance it may be read differently. As always, inform yourself. This was a post about my frustration with the matter, not meant to be an news article.
4.This is what P*ul ended up wearing. (A lot of people think production probably warned him about how his original look could be bad.) This doesn’t change what P*ul said and did leading up to it and everyone’s complacency with it.
you, a p*nsmione fic writer:
"the first time hermione worked with pansy she found her insufferable uwu"
me, an intellectual:
pansy called her a mudblood which is a literal racial slur, if you read the metaphor correctly. thats not 'insufferable', thats oppressive. on top of which you're writing a black hermione, and in fact pansy canonically made antiblack comments for example when she said angelina's braid looked like worms, something that happens in real life every day to black women by racist white women. thats not 'insufferable' thats racist. please don't ship racists with people of color i cannot believe i have to tell you this. what the fuck the fuck
Tbh I’m surprised that people (probably a lot of ga.jevy fans or levy/lily brotp fans) wonder why Pantherlily is carrying Freed and not Levy in the chapter because to me it was immediately obvious that ‘yea Freed’s the heaviest and tallest of them all so Lily is carrying him yea’.
What I did wonder about instantly was why it’s necessary to carry Freed at all because well y'know… he has his own wings. But I’m guessing it’s to safe every single bit of magic power or something bc while Mashima does forget or just doesn’t use a lot of the characters’ abilities (which is a shame) he never forgot about Freed’s wings before.
What is the correct use of "-ie" and "hyung"? I often hear what sounds like "hyungie" but that's not a real word? Like I get ex: jin-ie hyung but why have I also heard the boys say jin hyung-ie? Count me as your first explanation of the day :p SORRY
이 - which is the “ie” you often see after people’s name and is often associated with affectionate and intimate way of addressing - has so many meanings in korean, “teeth”, “this”, “two” etc. not just a suffix for names. so when you hear someone say 이, don’t automatically connect it with the often associated meaning. it’s a legit korean word and doesn’t only have that exclusive meaning.
when addressing a person whose given name ends with a consonant, koreans often add 이 to their given name to make it more colloquial. adding 이 is more like a habit and can be omitted without affecting anything at all. it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s an affectionate way of addressing, but using 이 indicates that they’re close and comfortable with each other to a certain level. 이 can be added after the person’s given name regardless of the age difference, but like i mentioned above it’s mostly used when they have a certain closeness. however, when using 이 to refer to a person of older age, the honorifics still need to be added as usual. for example, jimin can call jungkook “jungkookie” but for jin, he has to use “jinie-hyung”, not “jinie”. same for other honorifics like -noona or -eonni. for given names that end with a vowel, like “yoongi”, 이 can’t be added at all, never. honorifics like -hyung are directly added after those kinds of names.
the “hyungie” that people often mistake as an affectionate way of addressing, is not the same 이 (ie) i mentioned in the second passage. it’s 이/가, a korean grammar that is used to indicate the subject of a sentence, the same as 은/는. 이 is for words ending with consonants (like “hyung”), 가 for words ending with vowels. that “jin hyungie” thing is 진형이, 이 here serves to indicate that 진형 is the subject of the sentence and 진형이 will be followed by the rest of the sentence. when someone said 진형이 and stopped there, they did not mean to say “jin hyungie”, they just didn’t finish their sentence. if they meant to say “jin hyungie” it would be 진형이가 (jin-hyung-ie-ga) or 진형이는 (jin-hyung-ie-neun). stop using “hyungie”, it’s not a real thing. stop misusing korean when you don’t know it. especially roleplayers, i get secondhand embarrassment every time i see roleplayers using “hyungie”.
by the way, do not double the last consonant when adding “ie” to their names. it’s not english, it’s korean. “jiminie”, “jungkookie”, “kookie”, “jinie”, NOT “jiminnie”, “jungkookkie” (or “jeonggukkie”), “kookkie”, “jinnie”. stop calling my baby “soup machine”.
(originally intended to be specific to my hawke but ur welcome to reblog & tag ur own hawke/add ur own headcanons the more the merrier)
bethany is the first person hawke tells, when it’s just the two of them, and she helps him cut his hair. it’s an utter disaster and when she sees, leandra immediately flies into action to save the terrible haircut while malcolm watches and laughs.
hawke waits a while to tell the rest of his family because he’s so nervous. he knows his parents love him but what if they only love him as a girl? bethany holds his hand under the table while he tells them, and hugs him right after. it’s still scary, but she helps.
malcolm understands at once, but leandra has never come across this before. it takes her a long time to stop ‘mourning her daughter’ and realise she is hurting her son.
when carver discovers he isn’t the only hawke son, he locks himself in his room. he emerges rather sheepishly several hours later and offers some of his clothes to hawke for him to try out.
he asks people to call him ‘hawke’ because he knows he wants to change his name before he knows what he wants to change it to. ‘hawke’ is an easy middle ground, and it sticks.
there’s a gaggle of kids who give hawke a hard time when he goes into town, laughing at his short hair and his boy’s clothes. hawke grits his teeth and ignores them, but he comes home crying more than once. carver disappears one day and returns with a split lip and a grin. the kids don’t bother hawke again.
malcolm stumbles over pronouns at first, and hawke is too nervous to correct him. but bethany is always there to step in and gently remind their father for him, and soon malcolm is always getting it right.
leandra doesn’t remember so well, and finally hawke ends up crying when she forgets and misgenders him yet again. malcolm finds his son out in the barn and sits with him, tells hawke how brave he is, how proud they are of him, how much they both love him. when they come back inside, leandra cries her way through an apology and promises to do better.
the family has to move once because a man deliberately misgenders hawke and bethany sets his trousers on fire. their parents are angry at her for putting herself in danger, but her brothers stand up for her. leandra can’t help thinking this is the closest she’s ever seen the siblings.
the first time hawke hears leandra refer to him as ‘my son’ to someone, he can’t stop smiling all day.
helping hawke choose a new name becomes something of a family ritual while preparing for dinner, batting names around the room. bethany picks names from romance novels, carver suggests the names of his heroes, and malcolm invents outrageously long and ridiculous names that invariably involve terrible puns.
leandra is upset at the thought of hawke changing his name - they named him after malcolm’s mother - but eventually even she joins in, drawing on family naming traditions in her suggestions.
sometimes hawke worries whether it was worth putting his family through all this trouble, changing his relationship with them for ever. but then bethany calls him her brother, or leandra calls him her son, or someone refers to ‘the hawke boys’, and it just feels so right and he feels warm inside, all over again.
ok i just realized i never posted about this but in february i met allison bechdel!!! the fun home tour came to a theater near my school and through a student program there i was able to meet her and get cheap tickets. she was really nice and very appreciative of everyone there. lots of people told her their own stories of accepting themselves and it was really sweet :,)
hey i was thinking about trying out thighhighs and i was wonderin how you know what size to get, and i thought i could prob ask you cuz youre the one who got me thinkin about them in the first place
u gotta consider how long ur legs are and also how wide they are. usually if you’re really tall and/or fat youll probably need some XL ones, cuz most thigh highs are made for like.. very thin people on the short-ish side & average shoe size (if thats u, ur good 4 p much anythin) but also consider ur height & weight distribution (some tall ppl have long torsos and average size legs, some ppl store tons of weight in their legs & some fat ppl might hav rly small legs)
since i dont like & can’t fit most standard thigh highs (im 5′9 and like 145lbs, my legs r rly long and a lil bit thick) i buy from sockdreams; they have a wide variety of socks for a huge range of sizes. u can narrow ur search to XL or ones for big feet, but if your legs r very very wide or a combination of long AND wide, i’d def recommend the extraordinarily longer thigh highs(also gr8 if ur only medium-tall/thick but u want the feeling of huge comfy oversized socks that we’re deprived of cuz its so hard to find regular fitting socks in the first place. im bitter)
