they all live in Florence and to escape the Black Death they hide in Michele and Sara’s villa
they’re all gay
since it’s like 1350 and there’s no internet they decide to pass the time telling each other stories
everyone tells one story per day
everyone is “king” or “queen” for a day
that means that whoever is king or queen (or whatever the gender-neutral term is to substitute those is) gets to decide the theme of the stories that should be told that day
Yuuri’s theme is Eros
he tells the story of how a beautiful seductress abandoned the man she danced with all night
Victor lowkey cries because that’s what Yuuri did, except he doesn’t remember it because he was drunk on Tuscan wine
Yuri’s theme is Agape
Chris fails miserable to deliver a story about Agape because lbr he fills it up with sex
on the other hand he totally nails the Eros theme
Otabek wins the Agape day with the story of how a boy fell in love unconditionally with a beautiful, younger boy with the eyes of a soldier, and after being separated from him for three years he meets him again and tells him how he never forgot about him and asks him to be his friend because all he needs is to be close to him, until hopefully one day the boy will love him back the same way he loves him
Victor’s theme is Love&Life
he delivers a heartbreaking story of how the best dancer in the world kept dancing and dancing just to please his audience but has lost the ability to enjoy things for himself and felt no passion anymore, until a beautiful seductress made him feel something for one night and then abandoned him
he looks at Yuuri while telling this story and it’s awkward
eventually Chris continues this story for them, telling how the beautiful seductress didn’t abandon the dancer on purpose, but because she was put under a spell by an Evil Witch that made her forget everything
Someone please take this off my hands because I can’t anymore lol I just wanted to put it out there, if you have more HCs I’d love to read them <3
@farkledagain sent me this post b/c it reminded her of H+A and I was like ‘yesssssss. but oh no now i wanna draw something like this 4 theeem’ and then she told me to do it so I did it b/c I’m WEAK.
I have no idea what happened in the show that photoset is of, I’ve seen a couple episodes of it in the past but never got around to watching more. As for what’s happening here, I’m thinking Helga beat the crap out of some dude the other day who was making a mutual friend of her and Arnold’s miserable. Or was just being awful to them or something. It was probably someone most of the school thought highly of, so even though Helga did it for the right reasons she’s still seen in a bad light by most pple, b/c her reputation isn’t the greatest to begin with either and ppl are pretty scared of her normally. Arnold knows better tho, and he knows why she did it, and although he isn’t big on settling things with violence, he knows this was probably the only way that person would stop and tbh he was pretty close to decking them himself soon, Helga just beat him to the punch (da dum tsh). So ya, Helga’s got to deal with pple talking shit about her and she doesn’t really care b/c at the end of the day she has pple like her friends and Arnold who know better and that’s all that matters. The talk still puts her on edge tho b/c pple are feeling sorry for the asshole, but Arnold’s touch and words of affirmation melts the tension away and gets rid of the urge to punch more pple in the face.
Teen Wolf Preference – How You Find Out They Like You
You’d find out that Derek likes you
almost by accident.
You’d known Derek for a while and
everyone knew that he had a soft spot for you – although, no one would have
guessed that he had a crush on you. He usually he kept to himself, especially
when it came to emotions, and when you found out about the supernatural world
he’d so far been extremely patient with your questions.
“So you can shift when it’s not a
full moon – does that really make you a werewolf?”, “how come only your face
really changes?”, “how do you stop yourself from wolfing out when you get
angry? You’re always angry”.
If someone like Stiles asked Derek
these questions he’d tell them to shut up. But you were different. You were his
“We have anchors – something that
stops us from losing control. It can be people like Scott used to use Allison
or it can be something else. My anger used to anchor me.”
You arched an eyebrow, “what
anchors you now?”
“What?” Derek hadn’t expected you
to pick up on his terminology.
“You said ‘used’ to anchor you.
What anchors you now?”
He avoided looking at you, worried
that he’d cave in as soon as he saw your pleading eyes. So, Derek turned away
and pretended to be interested in documentation on the table.
He knew you and knew that saying this would only interest you more. He
wished he could just lie to you, it was so easy to like to other people.
“Oh, come on!” you moved closer to
him, “is it really embarrassing?”
“Yes,” Derek said gruffly, bravely
looking at you, “it’s you.”
You grinned, “that is embarrassing!” realisation seemed to
dawn on you, “wait, me? But if Allison was Scott’s anchor…”
And for the first time, you saw
You’d find out that Isaac likes you
in a strange but not so surprising Isaac kind of way.
The pack, Scott specifically, were
aware of Isaac’s nightmares and night terrors. Scott had grown accustomed to
hearing Isaac’s yelling in his sleep every now and then and usually his
nightmares revolved around the same thing. If it got really bad, Isaac would
ring you after waking up because you assured him you’d be there for him no
matter what the hour was. You were his best friend and everyone but you knew
that Isaac thought of you more than that.
One night, his nightmare shifted to
a whole new story.
Isaac woke up in a heavy sweat,
letting out a few deep breaths as he tried to take in his surroundings and
remind himself that the nightmare wasn’t real.
But it felt so real.
So he quickly grabbed a clean shirt
and left the house, not even bothering to check the time as he sprinted through
the streets of Beacon Hills. He tried to calm himself but there was a small
voice in the back of his head that kept saying ‘but what if it was real?’
You almost threw a book at him when
you were awoken suddenly to Isaac climbing through your window.
“Isaac – it’s 3am!”
He gave you a breathless smile, his
eyes flickering to the book in your hand, “your plan to stop an intruder is to
throw a book at them?”
You frowned groggily at him as you
turned your lamp on, praying that your family wouldn’t wake up to the sound of
“Are you gonna tell me why you’re
here or are you just going to make fun of my plan of attack if an intruder
Isaac hesitated. He was relieved to
see that his nightmare wasn’t true and you were okay after all – he just didn’t
know how to explain that to you without feeling embarrassed.
“I had a nightmare.” He admitted,
moving closer to your bed. Like a natural instinct, you moved over so he could
get in bed beside you.
“You usually call me. What
“Uh,” Isaac fiddled with your
bedsheet, “you were in it. I mean, sometimes you’re in my dreams like… in the
background… but this time you were really in it. My dad – it’s stupid. I just
wanted to make sure you were okay.”
You rested your head on his
shoulder, “that’s different. You didn’t do your breathing exerci –,”
“I like you, alright? I had to be
sure. You never know what happens in Beacon Hills. Shit’s insane around here.”
Isaac tried to joke but realised what he said. Even in your tired state, what
he said processed quickly in your mind.
“You… like me?” you thought for a
moment, “actually, that makes a lot of sense.”
Mason would constantly tease Liam
about it and whenever you were around he’d make subtle hints and you’d
accidentally pick up on it
Mason was relentless when it came
to Liam’s crush on you and that was how you found out Liam liked you.
“Here comes your girlfriend now.”
Mason said in a sing-song voice when he saw you walking down the school
corridor to him and Liam at the lockers. Liam glowered at him, this being an
almost warning expression that if he said anything to you that Mason would face
Mason nodded but whenever you were
around, he’d just tease Liam when you weren’t looking.
“Please tell me you guys will stay
after school. I really need your help on an assignment and I think it’s going
to be the death of me.” You said when you reached Liam’s locker, Mason stepping
so he was behind you and couldn’t see the faces and gestures he was pulling.
“I don’t know if I can stay but
Liam definitely can,” Mason mused and you looked at Liam with a delighted
expression. You couldn’t figure out why Liam had a frown on his face, unaware
of Mason’s smirking face and mouthing ‘get some’ to his friend.
“Yeah I’ll probably stay. Are you
coming to the lacrosse game tomorrow night?” Liam asked and you nodded your
head. Mason was now doing a small dance behind you.
“Yeah, of course. I never miss a
lacro –,” you turned around quickly, “Mason, what the hell are you doing?”
He stopped mid-dance, freezing when
he saw your annoyed expression. Mason smiled sheepishly.
“I have a nervous tic?”
“You’re a terrible liar,” you said,
“c’mon guys! What’s happening? You’re always doing this now! Don’t think I don’t
see you, you idiot.”
Just as you playfully punched Mason
in the arm, you realised why he’d been doing what he was doing. Your friends do
a similar thing when Liam’s around.
“Oh… Liam!” you turned and pointed a finger to Liam who was blushing
You’d find out Scott likes you
through an obvious source – Stiles.
By now, Scott should know not to
trust Stiles with anything (especially with a crush secret) but he had to tell
someone. Stiles was his go to person for everything.
“You’re not helping, (Y/N).” Stiles
said loudly as he and Scott looked through boxes of archives at the police
station, all three of you knowing full well that you shouldn’t be there. Whilst
Stiles and Scott were looking through folders and papers, you were sitting on a
wheely chair and filling out quizzes in a magazine.
“I think I’m helping a lot. For
instance, I just read your horoscope, Stiles. This month you need to focus more
on your happiness rather than getting caught up in work and putting your needs
aside. You’re welcome,” you stuck your tongue out at him briefly, “oh, also, if
you really want to dig up dirt on Theo why don’t we just visit his parents?
They’d probably know about his sister’s death more than anyone. Before you ask,
I do have his address and since Scott’s disapproved he can go over this stuff
on chimeras which I photocopied out of one of Deaton’s books. I’ve highlighted
the important bits.”
“You couldn’t have told us this
“Nope, it’s been fun watching you
two snoop around.” You showed Stiles the sheets you’d printed out for him.
“God, (Y/N). If Scott didn’t like
you, I’d kiss you right now.” Stiles grinned as he took the sheets from you,
already leaving the archive room as you and Scott sat still with wide eyed
Your best friend, Lydia, had been
trying to convince Stiles to tell you that he likes you for a long while but
you’d find out that he likes you by accident.
You were in the car with Lydia on
Friday afternoon, the loud music softening when a phone call came through the
“I finally figured out how to
connect my phone to the car,” Lydia grinned as she answered the call, “hi
Before you could greet Stiles too,
he’d launched himself into a full ramble – something that happened often with
“I’ve finally decided to ask (Y/N)
out on a date.”
“Stiles.” Lydia hissed, glancing to
see your reaction. All you could was stare out the window with a confused
“Lydia, I’m serious. I know I’ve
said it heaps of times but I actually mean it this time. I’m gonna ask her out
and tell her I like her,” he thought for a moment, ignoring when Lydia said his
name again in a warning tone, “I just don’t know where to take her. Any
“I really want to go to that new
restaurant in town.” You said and heard Stiles making a choking noise on the
other end of the line while Lydia let out a loud laugh.
“I tried to tell you, Stiles!” she
laughed as he quickly mumbled that he had to go and hung up the phone.
You and Theo are always flirting
and you kind of know he likes you and he gets hurt and admits it to you and
you’re like “I already knew that”
You always had a hunch that Theo liked
you but had your theory confirmed when one of Theo’s late night outing went
Theo relentlessly flirted with you
and you often responded just as eagerly. You were tending to his wounds,
applying disinfectant and telling him to stop being such a wuss when he hissed
“You’re an idiot, you know that?”
you muttered as you applied a bandage on his arm, trying to remain serious and
ignore the fact that his arm was so nice and muscly.
“You dig it,” he gave a half smile,
“can’t believe I’m saying this but I was really worried for a second there. I
thought it’d kind of suck if I died and didn’t tell you that I liked you.”
Your snorted, “you weren’t going to
die, they’re just minor cuts.”
“You’re not going to react to my proclamation
You leaned up, kissing his cheek, “no
because I already knew.”
So I don’t think this is considered angst, but it’s closer to that than to fluff.
Warnings: mentions death, loosing family, car accidents and marriage
Requested: no, but they are open!
Jesse had been kidnapped by Zoom, you and Harrison were on another Earth, and everyone was looking at the both of you like you killed their dog.
“Very strange to be holding your autobiography. Especially when you didn’t write it. And it’s not about you,” Harrison said reading through a book about the Harrison Wells from this Earth.
You stood off to the side, letting everyone talk. Everything was really confusing, and you had no idea who everyone was talking about. As usual Harrison was being somewhat insensitive about the death of the others friends and families.
“Everyone looses someone Snow. The real test is what you do when they’re gone,” Harrison spoke as a man rounded the corner and pointed a gun at Harrison’s head. He pushed you behind him in an effort to protect you from harm.
The man fired the bullets, but they never reached Harrison.
“Does that happen a lot around here?” You asked.
“Is that-oh my- (Y/N),” the man rushed to you and hugged you. You looked at everyone around the room oddly. Surely you’ve never met this man in your life.
“Joe, that’s (Y/N) Wells, from Earth 2. And that’s Harrison Wells from Earth 2,” Barry spoke sadly as Joe stopped hugging you.
“Sorry, you look like our friend,” The girl, Caitlyn, told you.
“What happened to her?” You asked.
“The Reverse Flash killed her. She was my best friend, no offence Barry, and the man she trusted the most in the world, loved the most in the world, killed her in a matter of seconds,” Cisco explained.
“I am so sorry for your loss, for all of your losses. It isn’t the easiest thing to loose someone so suddenly. I know the feeling, I almost lost Harry here in a car accident a while back. It was the scariest week of my life, just sitting there in the ER not knowing if he was going to wake up.”
“It’s not your fault, you didn’t know that we would have known your counterpart.”
And hopefully it was alright, because you and Harrison would need all the help you could get to get your daughter back.

Misunderstood (a request short story inspired by the Manga “Kimi ni Todoke”)
Pairing: Jung Kook x Y/N
Synopsis: being an outcast because people think you look like the girl from The ring, isn’t easy but the minute you meet Jung Kook everything changes.
The minute that people started to compare you to the girl from the movie the rings, your social life was over. You became an outcast and everyone avoided you, just because they were afraid or apologetic. They acted like you could actually see and talk to ghosts, which was ridiculous, to be honest.
You were walking alone to school when you saw a guy looking completely lost, he had a document in his hands and was trying to figure out where to go, he had the same school uniform as you, so he must be new.
“Excuse me? Are you looking for west high?” The guy turned around and your heart stopped for a second because he was the most handsome guy you had ever seen. “It’s that way.” You quickly finished your sentence and you were surprised to see him come closer. You tried to hide behind your hair but couldn’t help but look at him. “Thank you.” He sounded really nice and you just had to look up, you nodded and wanted to walk away, when suddenly flower blossoms started to fall and he actually picked one out of your hair, which gave you a good view of his handsome face.
“It has a strange shape, take a look.” he gently put it in your hands and you were surprised that it was shaped into a heart, you were studying it and couldn’t help but smile a little. The guy was looking intensely at you and even smiled, which had never happened to you before, there were no guys around here who even took a glance at you and stayed by your side, so this was something new. He actually looked genuinely friendly and a bit curious.
“Jung Kook-ah!” His eyes roamed to where the voice came from and behind me were his friends and he quickly bowed and ran off, leaving you standing there in the morning sun, completely shocked about what had happened and your heart fluttered a bit. “So his name is Jung Kook.” You muttered to yourself and nodded in joy, maybe this could be a start to something new.
You quickly found out that Jung Kook, was really popular and good in everything he did, He loved to dance and boy could he sing! You were totally in love with him but he didn’t know this as he didn’t even look at you after that first day at least that was what you thought, little did you know that he was quite curious about you, especially after hearing those rumors. One day you had to collect homework but of course like always nobody dared to come near you and as everyone put the homework at the table at your left he suddenly offered his homework to you, he was even saying your name. This startled you and you actually grabbed his homework together with the rest and ran out.
Everything changed from that day on, you even gained new friends, you started to feel more comfortable in your own skin You even got asked out by them and it was like all the clouds were disappearing, you were slowly lowering your wall and actually let people in. The girls even taught you how to play soccer, which was not easy as you couldn’t even kick a ball at first but slowly you learned. “Y/N, wait up for a second.” you stopped and waited until Jung Kook caught up with you, he looked really handsome today, he had a new hairstyle, it was a shame you didn’t see him that often as he was on the road with his band, which was really awesome because they made good music but the times he did spend on school he always made sure to spend time with you.
“Is something wrong?”
“Ani, I just wanted to ask you if you would like to come to one of our shows, together with the others of course.” his eyes were twinkling as he waited for your answer. “Really? But what if your band members don’t like me?” You were already worried that they also would see you as that girl from the ring. Jung Kook knew that they bullied you with this and his smile disappeared slightly, this always happened when you talked about that and not because he felt pity for you but because it made him angry.
“Don’t worry about that because there is nothing wrong with you, you’re just shy and there is nothing wrong with that.” You nodded but you didn’t really listen, it was like my brain didn’t want to hear stuff like that.
“So, will you come?” You nodded and smiled at him, which earned you his bunny smile. Whenever you saw interviews with him, he always seemed so quiet but in real life, he was actually the opposite of what you saw on tv, it was fascinating. “I will send you the details later okay?”
“Okay, do you have to go already?”
“Ye, I have a tight schedule but don’t worry we will get something eat soon.” he ruffled your hair like he often did. He did this when he thought you looked cute, which was weird because you didn’t think you’re cute at all but you also didn’t mind him touching you, actually every time he touched you, your heart skipped a beat but you already saw how people were looking at you two and it wasn’t good, there were rumors everywhere and every time something happened to him or his band members, you got the blame for giving him bad luck, so you did try to keep some distance but he always found you.
You talked to the girls about that show Jung Kook had invited us to and they suddenly smiled at me, they were looking mischievous, which you couldn’t really place so you let it go. Not long after you got a text from Jung Kook telling you when the show was and that he would bring the backstage tickets himself. “Ya Y/N, you should stay away from Jung Kook!” You were shocked to hear a girl yell at you and when you looked up from your phone, you locked eyes with the most popular girl in school, everyone knew she had been spending a lot of time with Jung Kook and people even said they were dating and now she had her eyes on you because of the amount of time Jung Kook spent with you. “Okay.” you quickly agreed because even though you wanted to defend yourself, you lacked courage. You let your hair fall down around your face, so it was hidden, this made the girl chuckle. “Good, just focus on your ghosts and play with them.” she was being extremely cruel today, maybe she would leave you alone if you would give that ticket to her. “Don’t even think about that!” one of your friends told you right away, she was getting good at reading your thoughts, she said it was because you were an open book. “JK gave them to you!” This really wasn’t the time to talk about that.
“What did Jung Kook do?” when you didn’t answer her she grabbed you by the collar, she completely forgot about her fear for you and that’s when it all clicked, she was probably one of the people who made the rumor, now that you thought about it, she was indeed at the playground the day everyone started to compare you that that wretched girl from the ring but was it really worth getting all angry at her, yes did she ruin my high school life and did she made me into this shy, socially awkward person but on the other side, it did give me these friends. “It’s none of your business.” she was shocked in hearing you talk back to her and it actually felt good and to think that you finally had friends who would back you up if needed, this made you feel a bit better.
“You better tell me.”
“And if she doesn’t?” you all turned around and were shocked to see Jung Kook standing there observing us, the way he looked at her, made you feel good for some reason because it made it perfectly clear that he didn’t like her one bit. “Y/N, are you okay?” you nodded and even stuck up your thumb, which you had never done before and that made him chuckle. “Just so you know, I invited her and her friends to a show.” he quickly came closer and put his arm around my shoulders, you could hear people whispering when he did that and you were already trying to pull away but he held you firmly in place.
“Don’t you think you guys have taken it far enough? You should stop making stuff up. How in the world does she see ghosts and did she kill someone? I didn’t think so, she just has long hair and when she bows down it gets in front of her face, the only reason why she looks scary according to you is when she tries not to cry.” he was actually scolding everyone and it had never been this quiet before, no one was whispering right now but you felt their eyes on you, which made you feel anxious because before they acted like you weren’t even there and they only made fun of you once in awhile but now that this had happened, your life was about to change but was it going to a be a good or bad change.
“Let’s go!” he pulled you with him and didn’t stop until you were at the dance studio, there was no one right now because the school was over for today. “Why do you always let them talk badly about you?” he was angry, which made you feel flustered again, you hated nothing than people who raised their voice at you, for whatever reason.
“It’s a habit I guess and I think it’s easier to let them talk.” you shrugged as he suddenly pulled you in his arms, this shocked you but you still stayed still. “Have you been living like this for a long time?” you nodded against his shoulder and you felt him sigh deeply before he buried his head into your hair. “Don’t worry about those rumors anymore okay?” he asked you sounding worried, you couldn’t ignore the warmth that spread through your body when he said this. He was like your personal sun and there was no way you would ever let go of him as a friend even though you secretly wanted more but he probably didn’t feel the same. He must’ve seen you as a little sister instead of a woman and you couldn’t blame him, you looked younger because you sheltered yourself for this kind of things, so maybe you were slightly naive but that was only because you didn’t have any experience with guys.
“I have to go now but call me when they try to make fun of you again!” he ruffled my hair again before running out. This was an annoying but cute little habit between you and as you put your hair back up you decided it was time to let that wall down, the minute you did that people were actually starting to talk to you, which was refreshing.
The day of the show had finally arrived and to your biggest surprise, there was actually a car waiting for you and your friends. For the occasion, you had put on black skinny jeans and a light pink sweater, your hair was pulled into a high bun and you were wearing puma shoes, which you got for your birthday, which was on new year’s eve. You didn’t know who had sent them to you as there was no note with it but you absolutely loved them and they were really comfortable. The minute you stopped at the stadium, you couldn’t help but feel proud of Jung Kook because you really had to see all those people waiting to get inside. They were singing happy birthday to one of the members and that’s when I knew that I loved these fans already. You were being steered into a different direction as the fans and the second you reached the door, it flew open to reveal none other than Jung Kook himself.
He looked impressed when he saw you and you couldn’t help but see him swallow a few times before opening his mouth. “You look amazing.” he smiled at you and let you guys pass, you didn’t get far though as he grabbed your hand. You felt the tiny shock but didn’t say anything about it as you all walked towards a certain direction. Before he opened the door, he actually yelled if everyone was decent, which made me giggle. I felt their eyes on me the minute that it happened “Did you just giggle?” Jung Kook asked in complete shock.
“Ya haven’t you heard someone giggle before?” you were embarrassed to admit that this was the first time you had ever giggled in front of others but they apparently had noticed. He pulled you in his arms and cuddled you before opening the door. “Guys these are my friends.” he introduced you to the guys but stopped for a second before telling them who you were.
“This is Y/N.” the guys chuckled as they bowed in front of me, you did the same and that’s how the remaining day went, we talked and hung out with the guys and watched them do soundcheck. We even ate with each other, you could really tell this was one big family and the old man jokes were flying around. You knew that Jung Kook was watching your every move and normally this would bother you but when he did it, you didn’t seem to care. “Thirty minutes before it’s showtime.” one of the managers mentioned and you quickly went to take your seat so that you could enjoy the show and that was exactly what you did. They were amazing and you eventually danced and sang along to all the songs. The way they were with their fans was amazing and the way the fans sang along was really emotional. You couldn’t feel more proud and you couldn;t wait to congratulate them on a successful show. When the show was about to end, one of the security guys came to get you and he told you to get into one of the rooms, this was not the dressing room but it was funny because this room had a comfy couch and there was food but you didn’t touch it just out of fear it wasn’t yours.
After a while, the door finally opened and Jung Kook entered, you could tell that he had come straight from the stage and that he didn’t have the time to get changed yet. He looked really good even with him sweating like crazy, what surprised me was that he didn’t smell bad. “Did you enjoy the show?”
“I did, you guys are awesome, congratulations on your first show.” you stuck up you thumb, which was really lame but you were already doing it so there was no way back without it being awkward. “Did anyone at school give you any problems?” you shook your head because after his tirade no one had said a thing, okay some people were still avoiding me but that was about it, which was nice as you could enjoy school after so many years. “Thank you for that by the way.”
“It was all I could do. I only returned because I was worried about you.” he came closer but as you didn’t feel uncomfortable with him you just stayed there and let him pull you into his arms even though he was sweaty. “You are sweaty.” you tried to tease him but he immediately let go of you. “Right, I’m sorry!”
“Ani, it’s fine, I really didn’t mind.”
“Ye, I don’t mind your hugs.”
“You don’t?” he was observing you as you shook your head. “I really don’t mind.” he came closer again but didn’t touch you at first. He just studied your face to see if there was any resistance but to be honest you really did like him but were afraid to tell him first. He saw it in your face as a smile appeared on his face and without any hesitation he put his hand gently on your face and traced the shape of your lips, which made your heart beat faster, he put his other hand on your waist and gently pulled you closer and when he finally had you were he wanted, he bowed slightly and kissed you.
Falling Into The Wrong Crowd-Part Three (Jax Teller x Reader)
Summary: (Y/N) cannot get the image of the mysterious biker out of her head, she is so sure that is is him, they are back. The girls aren’t sure whether to believe her still, though something is telling the Sons that danger is coming. They can’t help but get involved with their friends only causing more trouble.
Meanings: (Y/N)= Your name
Warnings: Violence, swearing, alcohol, drugs, abuse (it’s Sons Of Anarchy, what do you expect?)
As I stormed out of the TM I couldn’t stop crying. Why wouldn’t they believe me? I wouldn’t make any of this up, why would I? I’m not the sort of person to make a sick joke. It didn’t make any sense. I know that we were supposed to be forgetting what happened but why would they just shove aside what happened to me? Questions ran through my head until a voice called out to me. Looking up, Jax was on his bike pulling up next to me.
“What do you want Jax?” I snapped.
“Look, I won’t ask any questions if you don’t want to talk but let me take you home. You seemed scared back there, I’m sure you don’t want to be alone.” he had pity on his face.
“Maybe it would be better if I was alone.” I lied.
“Just get on.”
He was right, I definitely didn’t want to be alone, especially if my assumption was true. For the second time that day I got behind Jax before he took me home. Once again I felt relaxed as we sped through the streets, closing my eyes and resting my cheek on his back. The ride was over too quickly though, I had to come back and face everything. He insisted that he should come inside, just until I had calmed down or someone came back.
I offered him a drink but he declined. Taking out a bottle of wine, I poured a lot into a glass before it almost overflowed. I could feel his eyes on me but I didn’t care. I needed this right now. Jax and I were sat on the sofa closely in silence until he spoke.
“What was that all about back there?” he asked in a hushed tone, looking into my eyes.
“It’s all in the past according to the girls.” I mumbled, taking a huge gulp of wine.
“You said that you were going to wind up dead, it has to be serious.”
“Oh it is. But it doesn’t matter because they don’t believe me.”
“Well I do.”
“You don’t even understand what’s happening.”
“No but it’s evident that it’s scaring you.”
Again, more tears began to fall. Goddamn emotions.
“It’s just…I don’t see how they can forget it all so quickly or at least pretend that it never happened. Maybe I remember it clearer, I was more involved.”
“Involved in what?” Jax was desperate to know answers but he wasn’t getting angry with me.
“I don’t even know you. I met you two days ago.”
“Sometimes it’s better to talk to a stranger than a friend.” he took the glass out of my hand and placed it on the coffee table in front of us.
I sighed, debating whether to tell him. However if I didn’t talk about it soon I thought I would explode.
“Before we moved here, we had trouble with another MC in our town. The girls were in business with them, selling drugs and whatnot, they got caught twice and went to prison because of it. The first time they kept quiet about providing it for the MC but the second time around they ratted them out to get a shorter sentence. The club had given an annonymus tip that the girls were the only ones involved, meaning that they would be the only ones to go down. This obviously made them really angry.
"However, I was dating one of their members at the time. Keira from Cara Cara used to live there, she had an abusive boyfriend and I tried to save her; however I ended up getting beaten too until the girls and a member of the MC saved me. He later asked me out. It wasn’t too serious, though I thought I was maybe going to become his old lady or something. He was so good to me, he cared for me when the girls got locked up until the second time. They threatened me and I had no where to hide. I was the one they took their anger out on. I thought I was going to die because they beat me almost every day. The girls had no idea about it so obviously continued to rat them out. I endured it for as long as I could.”
I paused for a minute, trying to not break down in front of Jax. He probably thought I was a psycho bitch after that scream fest at the club. He didn’t rush me which I was thankful for. Jax stayed quiet, waiting for me to continue.
“They had me locked up in my own home. People started to wonder where I was, what had happened to me. One night I managed to escape. I couldn’t believe that I was getting out of there. However they soon found out that I had left and came after me on their bikes, shooting at the girl running through the streets. I was hit in the arm but continued to run. The police showed up because of the amount of calls about a shootout happening in the neighborhood. They took me to the hospital and that’s where I was reunited with the girls. I didn’t answer any questions when the police visited and as soon as I was better we fleed the town.”
I grabbed the glass and took another massive gulp of wine. It was almost gone. Jax was speechless. He was trying to say something but he wasn’t sure what. I just started to cry, I couldn’t hold it back. The girls thought the best way to forget it all was to never talk about it. That wasn’t right. It needed to be talked about.
“That’s…I don’t know what to say.” He breahed out.
“We jumped around a lot, trying to throw them off in case they were following, mostly staying in motels. It’s been about two months.”
“What!? I thought you were talking about years ago? Maybe a couple more months at least.”
“Nope. That’s why I’m panicking so much. We didn’t lose them, they found us.”
“Look, maybe it isn’t them-”
I leapt out of my seat and stormed to the kitchen. Placing the glass next to the sink, I just took the bottle instead. Before I could get one sip, Jax snatched it out of my hands. We glared at each other.
“This isn’t the way to deal with this. Tonight you and the girls are going to come to the party and apologise to one another. From there we’ll work out what’s happening around here.” he ordered never blinking.
I shyly nodded.
“Good. Go have a bath or something, calm yourself down. I’ll be out here if you need me.”
I did as he suggested. As I watched the water fill up the bathtub, I couldn’t help but wonder what would happen if the MC was here. Were they here for us or something else? Slipping into the steaming water I tried to push the thoughts and worries aside. My hand absentmindedly ran over the wound on my upper arm, the scar on my skin reminding me that I was lucky to be alive. I had never been so scared of a noise before in my life. Even when I heard gunshots on TV shows I flinched. It could have been the last thing I heard before I died. No one wants that.
It was silent throughout the house. I wasn’t sure what Jax was doing. Oh god he was probably wanting to get out of here so badly. We were just another problem for the club. They didn’t have to get involved though I had a feeling that they couldn’t escape now. What if both MCs were rivals already, or worse friends!?
After the bath, I started to reapply my makeup which was a mess due to my breakdown. It was still so quiet in the house and I had to call out to Jax to make sure he was still there. After getting ready again, I brushed my hair out and chose an outfit for the party. I’d been to an MC party before, I knew what I should wear. I also knew that there would be many women there with much less clothing than me.
A knock on the bedroom door startled me.“(Y/N), can I come in?”
I continued to put on some jewelry as he walked in. I watched him through my mirror, sitting on the edge of the bed his eyes met mine.
“How are you feeling?” he asked.
I sighed.“Not much better if I’m being honest.”
“You know that it’s for the best, making up with the others I mean.”
“Yeah. It’s just going to be hard because they didn’t believe me.”
We made our way to the club house again. I began to feel nervous, what was going to happen with the girls? Were we just going to keep arguing about this or could we actually resolve it? As we arrived something seemed wrong. There was no loud music, no chatter from the crowds and no people for that matter. Jax and I got off his bike, his face showing confusion, as did mine.
“Jax, what’s happening?” I asked him.
“I don’t know, stay close to me.” he took out a gun from the waist line of his trousers before grabbing my hand.
We took cautious steps towards the club house. I had been to this sort of party before, there had to be something going on here. Jax kept me behind his back, looking out for any danger. However we were caught off guard, both of us being knocked off of our feet. We were lying on the floor and before Jax could shoot the attackers the gun was forced out of his hands.
“Miss us baby girl?” a slimy voice free my attention away from the ground and up at the men.

Summary: Marinette is trying to move on from her hopeless crush on Adrien, and she’s finding that she’s opened her heart to a certain kitty in her life. The problem is she can’t get up the courage to tell him. A concerned cat-boy goes to check up on his friend, and discoveries are made.
(Angst warning. To be honest, who does that surprise)
You could just about make out the shape of his fists clenched tightly in his jean pockets, if you strained your eyes hard enough. You could just about make out the hunched curve of his shoulders as he kicked idly at the floor, like he could all too clearly envision Connor doing. “Evening. The sun’s shining today, isn’t it? I swear that never happens around here. It’s England, it’s not supposed to be sunny. Ha, and they say global warming isn’t real.” He rolled his eyes and dragged a hand through his hair. “It’s quiet now, at the ARC, I mean. There’s nobody to buy chocolate for; there’s nobody to yell at Connor when he puts his sticky fingers all over the ADD. Matt says Emily still cries herself to sleep at night; she blames herself.” He took a deep breath. “Even Lester misses you, though he refuses to admit it. It’s lonely here with…without you. Though, I suppose it’s lonelier for you, right? I mean, I’ve got the guys at the ARC, but you…you don’t have anybody, you’re just sleeping. Sometimes, I wonder if you’ve got it easier. You’re oblivious to the world here Jessica, nothing and nobody can ever or will ever touch you. I’ll admit, I’m jealous, but my God, do I miss you.”
He took his hands out of his pockets and played with them idly for a few seconds, as if trying to both calm him down and decide what to say next. “I miss waking up every morning, with your head buried in the side of my neck. I miss making coffee while you sleepily hum Christmas Carols in the background, even when it’s June. I miss being able to sneak up behind you while you’re working on the ADD and spin your chair around. I can’t do any of that anymore Jess, and I don’t know how much longer I can take this baby.” He rubbed his hands over his face, taking a deep breath. “And I know. I know it’s not fair, and I know it’s not anybody’s fault, but that doesn’t stop me from blaming them. From blaming Emily; from blaming Connor. Connor, of all people to blame for this. It’s stupid, isn’t it? I want someone to tell me it’s stupid. Please….Please tell me it’s stupid?”
He sat down on the ground heavily, feeling how cold it was even through his clothes, and curled into a ball, trying to calm himself down. He buried his head in his knees and covered the back of his neck with his hands, as if trying to hide himself from view. God forbid somebody walk in on him like this.
And oh look, just as he’d feared. A person. Suddenly he was on his feet, his head buried in somebody’s shoulder, clinging to whoever it was as though they were his lifeline. “Shhh, it’s alright. It’s okay,” the voice told him quietly, and it took Becker a few seconds to match it to that of his bosses. “No it’s not! I wish everyone would stop saying that!” “Alright,” Matt tried again. “It’s not okay, and it’s probably never going to be okay again. It’s not fair, and it completely sucks, but sometimes you’ve gotta play the hand you’re given, alright Becker? But you’re better than this; stronger than this. You’ll get through it just fine. And so will I. Because, we’re partners. We go through everything together, good and bad. So maybe it won’t all be okay. But that’s okay.” Becker nodded, and Matt pulled away. “I’ll be outside, alright?” Becker nodded again, and Matt left.
Becker walked quickly across the room and bent down, kissing Jess on the forehead so swiftly you might have missed it if you hadn’t been paying attention. He laced his hand into hers and squeezed it tightly, sighing. “Sleep tight Jessie, I love you.”
She forgot about the body-pillow after a few weeks. It had been a gift from Juvia (albeit an unnecessary one), and Lucy had been rather flustered when the blue-haired woman had practically shoved it into her face, babbling something about knowing how much Lucy missed Natsu and that she had made the blonde something to make things better.
That “something to make it better” turned out to be body-pillow. A body-pillow that looks an awful lot like her currently left-without-saying-goodbye partner.
She didn’t have the heart not to take it from Juvia. She was just tying to help and be supportive–Lord knows that Lucy needed all the help she could get those first few weeks. It was hard, waking up and knowing that Natsu wasn’t going to be there, and Happy wasn’t going to be there, and–oh! The Guild isn’t there either, because–not only is it blown up because Elfman was being controlled by a Demon that wanted to kill all of them, but Master Makarov decided that Fairy Tail’s time had ended. And it was like everything was being ripped away from her in less than a day.
She was an absolute mess. She didn’t leave her apartment for the first two days after she found out the Guild was gone, not seeing the point of leaving if there was nowhere to go. By the time she did leave again, half of the guild was gone, spread across Fiore. Only the Tenrou Team and a few others like Macao, Romeo, Alzack, and Bisca were left.
Everyone else was just… gone.
And so, she was left standing in front of the ruins of the Fairy Tail Guildhall, the once proud building nothing more than rubble and memories that seemed almost bitter. The Guild had been through so much–so much, but it had always been able to put itself back together. It tore at her heart to know that even Fairy Tail can only take so much.
And so she left, because there was no where to go except for home, but even that didn’t seem like home anymore. Everyone who was supposed to be there was gone.
The worst part happened a week later. She had woken in the middle of the night, hearing something moving in her apartment. And she thought maybe–just maybe–they were back. The idea was unlikely, they said a year, but before she could think otherwise, she flung herself out of bed, scrambling into the kitchen.
Something inside of her broke when she realized it was Gajeel.
So she flew into a rage, throwing everything she could find at the Iron Dragon Slayer, cursing him. But she wasn’t mad at Gajeel, no, she was mad at her good-for-nothing partner, because why did he have to leave her behind? Why did he take Happy with him, but not her?
Why didn’t he say goodbye?
It would have been hard for him, she knows. It would have been hard for him to say goodbye to her face–it would have hurt.
But would it have hurt more than whatever she was feeling now? Would it have hurt more than feeling abandoned, or the raw feeling in her chest?
And she wants to be angry with him, because he deserves it. He deserves it for just leaving her like he did and not saying goodbye.
More than that, she just wants him to come home.
She doesn’t remember when Gajeel left, just that he did, and the next day Juvia showed up outside of her apartment with a pillow shaped like her best friend and Lucy didn’t have the heart to turn her away. So she took the pillow, tossed it on her bed, and forgot about if after a few weeks.
Lucy didn’t know that she would one day come to curse herself for forgetting about it. It didn’t seem important at the time.
Nevertheless, somehow it brought Lucy and Juvia closer together. In fact, the other girl became a stable part of Lucy’s life after that, even moving into Lucy’s apartment nearly a month later.
Lucy said that it was because the rent would be cheaper.
Juvia knew that the blonde just didn’t want to be alone.
And now, almost a year after Natsu left, Lucy finds herself at home alone. Juvia was gone, out shopping or something like that. Lucy doesn’t mind, everything has gotten better in the last year. She feels better.
Being alone doesn’t scare her as much anymore.
Sitting on her bed and flipping through a book, Lucy smiles as she hears the front door unlock, followed by the creaking of the door as it’s opened gently.
“Hey, Juvia, you’re back early,” she comments offhandedly, glancing up at her roommate, grinning. She didn’t expect the other girl to be back so early, but maybe it’s just one of those days. Lucy certainly doesn’t mind the company either way.
Only, it isn’t Juvia standing there.
Lucy jumps to her feet, book falling to the floor with a “thud.” She doesn’t even care though.
He doesn’t say anything, just crosses the room in three strides. Lucy stares at him open-mouthed, unsure of what to do, not knowing where to touch him. Happy floats behind him, grinning at her, but he doesn’t move.
“Natsu,” she whispers, eyes flicking across his face. He looks just the same as the last time she saw him, only taller and more outwardly rugged than she remembers. His clothes are a mess, torn and dirty, and he has more scars than she remembers, but it’s him. It’s Natsu.
She raises her arms, fingertips hovering inches from his skin. She hesitates, and he still doesn’t say anything, just stares right back at her and she can only wonder if he’s noticing that she’s changed too.
Finally–finally, her fingers brush against his jawline, skimming over stubble she didn’t notice until just now, but he’s solid and real and that’s all that matters.
“You’re back,” she says, eyes never leaving his, hands fully running along his jaw and his arms and pretty much every inch of bare skin she can reach.
A grin splits his face as soon as she says it, and then she’s lifted off the ground and into his arms, her own flying around his neck. His hands are all over her back and then Happy launches himself at them, short arms trying and failing to wrap around her torso, but she simply doesn’t care. She’s just glad they’re home.
Lucy breathes in deeply, pulling herself as close to him as possible. That’s when she notices that Natsu is speaking for the first time. And then all she can hear is, “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. Please don’t hate me, I’m sorry. God, Lucy, I’m so sorry, just don’t hate me.” His fingers dig into her skin roughly and she pulls back enough to look at him.
She sees panic and fear in his eyes, and she briefly wonders what hers look like to him.
“I don’t hate you,” she whispers, hands cupping his face, fingertips trailing across his skin. “I could never hate you, Natsu,” she tells him honestly. And it’s true. She doesn’t hate him. She’s mad at him, hurt that he would leave her, but she doesn’t hate him.
His eyes search hers, and she hopes he finds what he’s looking for.
Her breath catches in her throat as he leans into her, nose bumping hers. She freezes, and he leans even closer, lips just brushing hers before his gaze slips to the side and he pulls back, setting her back on her feet.
Her heart seizes in her chest. Did she do something wrong? Oh god, what if she–
“Lucy?” She can’t bring herself to look higher than his throat. “What… is… that?”
Happy bursts into laughter, and she spins on her heels, releasing Natsu.
“She likes you,” Happy purrs, still snickering.
Oh, please no.
But it is. It’s that damn pillow Juvia gave her. A quiet, mortified squeak leaves her throat, and she quickly buries her head in her hands, barely managing to stutter something about Juvia, before shaking her head and falling silent.
This is not how she pictured reuniting with Natsu. Not at all. She’s happy he’s back, really she is, but why couldn’t she have gotten rid of that damn pillow before now? Why did he have to see it?
Natsu’s laughter fills her ears, and she blushes even more, if possible. “Lucy,” he says, still laughing. She shakes her head, eyes closing. “Lucy, look at me.” She peeks at him from the corner of her eye, then slips her hands from her face.
He laughs again, slipping his arms around her once again. The fingers of his right hand run along her spine, and a shiver wracks her body. His other hand slides up her neck, thumb brushing against her cheek.
“I missed you,” he tells her, nose bumping hers again.
She smiles, fingers curling into his shirt. “I missed you too.”
His mouth crashes against hers and her arms fly around him and she never thought that this would happen, but here they are. Here Natsu is, mouth slanting against hers hungrily, hands everywhere, body pressed against hers. And Here she is, kissing him back as hard as she can, hands on his face and in his hair, pulling him impossibly closer.
It’s like she’s on fire. Her lungs are burning, but that might be from the kissing. She doesn’t even care.
She just keeps kissing him.
It’s dark by the time Juvia gets home, she was gone longer than she expected and she really hopes Lucy isn’t too worried about her. She winces. Juvia knows how worried Lucy gets when people don’t come back. She doesn’t want to upset the blonde, especially not this close to when Natsu–
She doesn’t want to think about it.
Juvia reaches for the door, surprised to find it already unlocked, but shrugs it off. She probably forgot to lock it before she left, that’s all.
She pushes the door open quickly, frowning at how dark it is. It seems Lucy decided to go to bed early tonight. She shrugs again. It’s none of her business anyway.
She passes Lucy on the way to her bed, surprised to see Lucy cuddled up to the pillow she gave her.
Juvia freezes, eyes wide. She turns to Lucy slowly.
Pillows don’t breathe, they also don’t wrap there arms around other people.
She blinks at the couple stupidly for several seconds. Their limbs are tangled together something awful, and she wonders how they even ended up like that in the first place. Lucy’s head is tucked into Natsu’s shoulder and his is practically buried in her hair.
