that man is a wizard

Imma colour this in later! I made this last night, had friends over and I haven’t slept in two days. ;v; My eyeballs hurt.

I literally can’t keep up with all these theories, gosh darn it!! October will be my death, like– there’s only so much time to drawwwww. Wish I didn’t have to sleep, man. I could make so much more cool shit. ;v;

Anyway, hope you enjoy this doodle! It’s been a while since I doodled some non comic related stuff! :0

  • Arthur Weasley: So you mean to tell me that muggles have found a way to look at other planets light years a way with a camera?
  • Harry Potter: Yeah.
  • Arthur: And they are trying to figure out practical ways to live on other inhabitable planets?
  • Harry: Basically.
  • Arthur: So why haven't they finished exploring the ocean?
  • Harry: ...
  • Harry: Uh, I guess... fish are scarier than the unknown.
  • Arthur: Fascinating!
Marauders at Disney
  • James and Sirius, upon entering the park, make a beeline to secure fast passes for their favorite rides (the ones like Matterhorn, Indiana Jones, Space Mountain, etc.)
  • At this point, Remus is really regretting not investing in a pair of those child-leashes that a good third of the parents at the theme park are sporting.
  • Peter tries running after Sirius and James, but gives up (not being fast enough) and hangs back alongside Remus, getting distracted by the array of gift/candy shops lining Main Street USA
  • Remus has to get a picture of Sleeping Beauty’s castle upon entering. He just has to.
  • James and Sirius are really smug when they get to cut in front of everyone with their fast passes. Remus just gives apologetic looks, and Peter has to shovel down the pretzel he bought before they get on the ride.
  • Ok, so considering the average temperature for Scotland during the summer time is around fifty seven degrees, and for southern California (L.A.) it’s around eighty one- they’re dying.
  • James and Sirius are wearing the bare minimum, and Remus has to rent a locker to stuff his sweater into
  • Sirius is rocking a man bun
  • James buys a Wizard Mickey hat and absolutely refuses to take it off
  • Peter may or may not be on his fifth churro by the time lunch rolls around
  • Remus really enjoys the small corners and alleys of the park where the crowd thins
  • Peter gets a coonskin hat from frontierland
  • Lots of shameless flirting with princesses coming from Sirius that result in autographs with the occasional phone number attached.
  • James seeing the Ariel and automatically missing Lily
  • Peter getting sick on the teacups ride after James decides to spin theirs as fast as he fucking can.
  • Lots of “JAMES NO!”
  • Sirius and James, after hearing about the two hundred feral cats that prowl the park at night, decide to go on a hunt for them
  • They legit smuggle cat nip inside the park and search the bushes for cats
  • Remus is so done with everyone’s shit
  • He just wants to have a normal visit at Disneyland is that so hard to ask?
  • Peter really wants to watch the parades, but Remus sees this as an opportune time to beat the crowds (now gathered along the street) to the rides
  • Remus is honestly ride or die. He doesn’t fuck with these slow ass tourists who have no idea where they’re going. He knows where to go and everyone is getting in his way.
  • Sirius getting picked on by characters (i.e. Chip ‘n Dale tugging on his man bun and snickering at it)
  • James in a flexing contest with Gaston
  • Remus only taking pictures the Mickey and Friends characters
  • And he’s all embarrassed to walk up to them at first
  • James taking the mic from the tour guide on Jungle Cruise because he thinks his jokes are lame, so he starts dishing out puns like its nothing and does a mic drop
  • Peter screaming a little too shrilly when the Yeti pops out on the Matterhorn
  • Sirius and James trying to find the entrance to the secret basketball court on the matterhorn
  • Also using alohomora to get into restricted areas of the park
  • Sirius singing Small World on repeat
  • James trying to harmonize
  • Remus really likes walking through Sleeping Beauty’s Castle (James and Sirius are hardly impressed)
  • But his favorite ride is the Disneyland Rail Road
  • Peter’s favorite ride is Star Tours and he convinces the others to ride it at least four times throughout the day.
  • James’ favorite ride is Indiana Jones. When he sees the snake statues in the ride, he mutters “Snivellus?”
  • Sirius prefers Pirates of the Caribbean
  • Remus getting really insecure because he notices little kids looking at the scars on his face with mild confusion- some are even scared
  • But then Peter Pan comes over and he does his thing. He tells Remus (making a big show of it so that others can hear) that he must’ve put up a good fight against the “pirate” that did that, and comments on how brave he is
  • Remus is just smiling the entire time and plays along with Peter Pan, and the kids gathered around are awestruck
  • Sirius and James posing for the camera on Splash Mountain
  • Having to restrain Sirius and James from jumping into the Rivers of America to get to the island

Continuing my Adventure Zone art shenanigans, because you all had such a lovely response to my Taako design!  I know I said I was going to draw Angus next, but when I sat down to sketch last night I had a song in my heart.  And that song was the Fantasy Costco theme, so ya’ll are getting Garfield instead. Haha! I am absolutely one of the people who can’t help but see Garfield as a cat, but as much as the “necromancer lasagna cat” makes me laugh, I wanted to actually design a specific character for him.  Because I am terribly fascinated by Garfield’s character and ngl every time he comes around I laugh so much.  Good good weird creepy cat wizard man.

Anders Losing His Magic

Fanfic expectation: Fenris appoints himself as Anders’s bodyguard since the poor delicate mageflower has lost his only way of defending himself. There are tears. Emotional bonding occurs.

What would actually happen: Aveline drags Anders semi-willingly to sword lessons every other day. He falls on his ass constantly. Fenris sometimes sits on the sidelines with popcorn and laughs himself hoarse.

Day One Hundred and Twelve

-I handed an adorable girl, scarcely one year old, a sticker. She was so overwhelmed by this gesture that she attempted to pay back my kindness in the only equivalent way she could imagine: she attempted to hand me the sticker back.

-A manager stopped by my lane on his way out of the store to discuss a podcast that we were both listening to. The sweet elderly woman I was ringing up asked if we were discussing a television show, and wanted all of the details. I then had to explain to this kind women, well into her seventies, how a radio drama about a brave man, a spiritually-flexible dwarf, and a Tex-Mex wizard made for good entertainment.

-A young girl demanded that her family walk through the grocery section so that she could feed her starving doll. I was grateful to see them oblige and take care of their daughter to the same extent that their daughter took care of her young ward.

-A church group left dozens of Easter eggs around the store, stuffed into merchandise and behind displays, each holding an advertisement for their upcoming service. Their use of our store for their own promotion without our consent was one thing, their leaving their litter throughout our store for us to clean up was another, but the final straw to me is that they did not even leave us chocolate for our troubles. It’s what Jesus would have wanted.

-As with most bad nights in softlines, I have made for myself a friend. A stray smiley stress toy and a stray single Spider-Man glove have combined to make a snuggly blue burrito of a friend. I have christened my son Leonardo and he has salvaged my night.
