Holy shcist guys, we hit 5,000 followers and this blog today and honestly that’s so amazing. I’ve had this blog running for just over 6 months and can’t believe we hit 5k. I cannot thank you guys enough for taking the time to follow, like, comment, and reblog on my posts. Tell me what you want me to do to show you guys my gratitude. Anyways, again, guys, thank you I love you all so much and am thankful for your continuous support, and I am looking forward to the day when we hit 10k on this blog, because I can tell you now, there will be a big celebration.
“Vice President-elect Pence, we welcome you and we truly thank you for joining us here at Hamilton: An American Musical, we really do. We, sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights, sir. But we truly hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us – all of us. Again, we truly thank you for sharing this show: this wonderful American story told by a diverse group of men, women of different colors, creeds, and orientations.”
“All these guys were talking bad about Luke Cage. But they didn’t stop for one minute to look at the good he had done. Cleaning up Crispus Attucks by himself? Looking out for people? Most of these guys wear spandex. Who would’ve thought a black man in a hoodie would be a hero.”
Thank you @kdinjenzen for creating this amazing day of body positive goodness! I have been shamed for my body before, I work out every day, I have acne and a belly but I am learning to love myself! I have been told “you can’t wear those heels, you’ll snap them.” And, “you can’t wear that dress, your stomach won’t fit!” But here I am in stilettos and cute dresses! Fight me kiddos, I’m getting better! (I forgot to say that I have my Letter jacket as well! I know I can be awesome! So fuck those who say I can’t!)
thank u, carrie fisher, for saving the galaxy when i was younger, and showing me that a girl can do anything she sets her mind to. and thank u again, for showing me when i was older that mental illness is nothing to be ashamed about, and allowing me to see that i can still be successful despite what society thinks of my mental health. i hope that one day i can be half the person u were…u have impacted my life so much and u will be missed by so many. we love you.
Skam has exceeded all of my expectations. That scene was possibly one of the purest forms of acting I have ever seen. It was real in a way I have never seen on a tv show before. The way they just breathed each other in. You could see the relief they felt being back together. They just melted into each other. Isak and Even have saved each other, and it is damn beautiful. I have never seen love portrayed in such a honest and realistic manner, and I don’t think I will ever again. Thank you Skam, for showing the world one of the most heartbreakingly beautiful love stories of this generation. It’s been a great ride.
