tending to the spirit

Spirit Houses

I haven’t seen any posts about it, so here goes.

We as people tend to dramatise spirits. (Especially Americans let’s not even lie, there’s a huge culture around occultism and ouija and all that shit that’s been blown out of proportions.)

“They’re all evil! They must be gone, exorcised, banished!”

The truth is, a lot spirits don’t even know or care that you’re there, they have a right to be there and were probably there before you. Possessions are really, really rare. Legit ones that is.

However, minor hauntings, such as things being knocked over, spirits nicking things and putting them elsewhere, banging on walls and such aren’t really a threat, and more of an annoyance. So there’s no need to call the exorcist and put fear and negative energy into it (because the spirit feeds off your fear and only grows stronger.)

Trust me, if the haunting was really serious, it would be much more than banging or losing things.

So! How to deal with a minor haunting without getting your exorcist mallet out? The answer is simple: Build a spirit house.

Offer the noisy or cheeky spirit a home. A space of their own that they keeps them occupied and content.

There are tons of methods to build spirit houses, may it be in skulls/bones from other animals, large jars, little doll houses, an intricate structure of thread stretched over a frame, a woven cage of wicker, anything! It depends on what you can provide and also what the spirit may want/need.

The interior decor varies just as much. From a little zen garden to a shiny little room fill with mirrors, and pretty things, it depends again on what you feel is necessary. The idea is to provide the spirit with something that’ll keep it occupied through it’s beauty, intricacy or shiny qualities. Keep them amused. So make an intricate little doll house, or a miniature garden, or a mirror room, it’s up to you!

Once that’s said and done, invite the spirit into it’s home and welcome them there. From there, the annoyance should stop and the spirit may even become willing to aid you in your magical workings!

Next time, consider that before being scared out of your wit and feeding bad energy into it. Sometimes, call it takes is a little compromise!

Oh, and PRETTY PLEASE send me pictures of your spirit homes! I’d love to see them.

Context: Our rogue’s player, who tends to be a bit of a lurker and soft spoken recently got a job in retail.

Rogue (OOC): Wait, so the gnome ignored me and went and grabbed the potion before I checked for traps?
DM: I guess?
Rogue (OOC): Alright, my character punches him as hard as she can in the jaw.

Rogue: LISTEN UP, FUCKERS. I am sick of your bullshit. I have been busting my ass trying to prevent everyone from being killed by traps. I nearly got fireballed, filled with shrapnel, and I did get turned into a toad. So here’s the deal. You are all going to stand back and listen when I say I’m checking for traps. If you want to kill yourself with a trap, do it on your own time and don’t put the ENTIRE PARTY IN DANGER. Otherwise. You’re a liability. Don’t be a liability. Trust me on that one.

The entire room sort of stares in shocked silence at her yelling.

Ranger (OOC, a long-time retail
worker): See?! Retail makes you give no fucks and take no bullshit. I told you so.

Opening the Veil

During one of my witchy hangouts, a friend taught me how to open a door to the spirit world. “Opening the Veil” is what they called it. Surprisingly, it wasn’t really that difficult for me–it involved creating a bridge to the spirit realm with my own energy and then opening a door to that bridge I created. Since then, I’ve been able to do it again in my room (with a proper circle, of course).

The first time was pretty cool, because you could definitely feel the shift in energy in the room and the presence of said spirits got much stronger.

I’m going to keep practicing it, because I think I have a knack for (possibly) veil manipulation (I am working with spirits, after all). I just gotta be careful and safe, because I don’t want some shit to come after me.

Spirits have been following me around all day. I don’t mind, except the feeling of being watched gets a little annoying after a while. I keep glancing behind my back (even while I’m typing this) because either my companions or some spirits that might have actually come through the door I opened (whoops) are watching me while I write this.

On the note of companions, it’s gotten much easier to communicate with them since then. My brain isn’t going all foggy when I try to understand them, and I can actually have some pretty solid conversations now (though there will always be that nagging in the back of my mind wondering–am I just making all this up?)

I’ll definitely be writing more about them, and about my weird spiritual experiences while I was in New Jersey (let me just say this–where I stayed had a loooot of history (and a lot of spirits)).

one of my favorite running gags in leverage is Sophie’s Terrible Acting and on rewatching the stork job, it’s really funny. because it’s the first time it’s come up since the nigerian job, and the ot3 are watching from the background as nate tries to talk to sophie about it and they all pace/bow their heads/hold hands in a questioning pose when nate completely folds

which is especially funny because they’ve been working together for at least six jobs by this point, trusting sophie to be their grifter because they’ve seen how good she is, but in that moment they’re all flashing back to COME YOU SPIRITS THAT TEND ON MORTAL THOUGHTS, UNSEX ME HERE!

Feyre and Rhys Children Part 2

So I made a post about Feyre and Rhys having a set of boy twins. This is about them and their daughter.

  • Her name is Reseda, she was born 200 years after the war and about 100 years after her brothers
  • She looks like Feyre, brown hair, paler skin than her brothers and father but she also has Rhys’s eyes. Purple.
  • She has Rhys’s spirit too, arrogant, devoted and stubborn. It tends to piss off her family. But also Feyre’s sense of justice, resilience and determination.
  • Reseda is Illyrian and at first Feyre is scared because her little girl is Illyrian and she will have to go to the camps and even though Rhys fixed things they are still bad and she is her daughter, an heir to the Night Court
    • But then is calmed down by Rhys who promises her that nothing will happen to Reseda, “his little bat” and that the Court of Dreams would decimate anyone who tried
  • Reseda grows up happy in Velaris. She is headstrong and curious and loves to prove people wrong
    • She loves to read and fly and paint and fight
  • Her brothers actually are the ones to teach her how to fly
    • She was 5 and one night Faron and Florin came into her room and told her “Your going to fly tonight and we’re going to teach you"
    • She was ecstatic because before that whenever the family had to go somewhere they would either Winnow or someone would carry her of flying was necessary
    • And so her brothers took her to a field and they held her hands and taught her to fly
    • It took only 3 days
    • Reseda, Faron and Florin never told Feyre and Rhys because it is their secret but Reseda doesn’t yet know how to close off her mind so of course they know - but don’t say anything
  • When Reseda is old enough she goes to an Illyrian camp after a lot of debate
  • She wants to go and told her parents that if they don’t allow her, she’d go by herself
  • So of course they allow her and her brothers stay with her, along with Feyre.
  • Reseda became the fiercest warrior there. She is stronger and faster and smarter than everyone.
  • Her powers manifest by accident. She can do anything her father can but  can also manipulate air
  • When she is in the camp she meets her mate. Not on purpose of course.
  • He is new and untested. But he is also strong. Like REALLY STRONG (like he needs just as many syphons as Azriel and Cassian). And so to see if he is stronger than her, he is thrown into the ring and fight.
  • It doesn’t snap into place automatically. In fact it takes the whole 30 minuets of them fighting. Ultimately it ends with him biting her but getting REALLY distracted cause HER BLOOD HER SCENT OH MY GOD and her punching him in the face which results in him getting knocked out
  • Let’s just say when her brothers find out that their baby sister has found her mate they are very …
    • Not only does her mate have to get something out of the Weavers cabin, but he has to fight her brothers AND survive a week in the cabin with the Court of Dreams
  • When Rhys finally decides to step down (cause I refuse to let him die) she becomes High Lady
    • Her brothers in fact refuse point blank to become the High Lords
  • When she becomes High Lady the Court of Nightmares is so fucking pissed about this.
    • Especially Mor’s parents.
  • But she doesn’t care. Not at all.
  • Reseda is the High Lady of the Night Court, more powerful than either of her brothers and any of the other high lords of Prythian
  • She is a kick ass High Fae who has her family by her side and the rest of the courts in fear (not literally, but they do fear her)

Your literary solutions for another planetary revolution

Whip out the candles and deck the halls, Sag, because it’s your month to celebrate! Sure, it’s always been kind of a bummer that your birthday month falls in the middle of the biggest holiday season, but the party only stops if YOU let it. You’re in control here, and this month, you’re going to get an extra dose of that independent spirit that you’re so known for. And what a time to shine - as wave after wave of holiday party invitations roll in, you’re going to be rubbing shoulders with all sorts of people, including some potential project co-collaborators! It’s a good thing you’ve found the energy and drive to look the seasonal blues in the face and say, “Thanks, but no thanks,” because your creative juices are flowing and your birthday month falling on the last month of the year tends to bring out your “never say never” spirit. This is the perfect time to dive into (or begin a long-overdue reread!) of your lucky book, which is all about the various places that life can take you when you have a dream, and which people in your life will accompany or abandon you in the pursuit. Who do you want to surround yourself with as you get ready to embark on a new creative adventure? How do you see your relationships adapting to where you envision yourself being in five years, or ten years? If that question is too heavy for this month of socializing, partying, and vision board-ing, be sure to pick up your lucky book for that dose of inspiration and warning you need.

Lucky Book: The Interestings by Meg Wolitzer

You do not suffer fools this month, Cap, and it’s the best kind of intimidating. Maybe it’s all of those post-turkey naps, maybe your brilliance just needed a chance to shine extra bright, but either way: you’re firing on all pistons and keeping everyone around you on their toes. You’re blessed with an abundance of great ideas, and you’re having no trouble communicating them. Quite the contrary: it seems that there is a direct line of clarity from your brain to your lips, so relating how you’re feeling and what you’re thinking is much easier and more effective than usual. You have something in common with the main character of your lucky book, Javier Mallarino, who is nationally known for sharing his opinions and feelings in a way that everyone can understand, but not necessarily agree with. Just like him, it’s up to you to figure out how and when to wield this gift so that you do not make enemies of people who don’t appreciate being told your truth. How can you remain authentic to yourself without sacrificing key relationships and alienating unsuspecting strangers? What is more important to you, speaking your mind, or keeping those bridges unburnt?

Lucky Book: Reputations by Juan Gabriel Vásquez

It’s never too late, dear Aquarius! That is your personal mantra for the month of December, as you make one final, desperate attempt of 2016 to accomplish all that you set out to do this year. Sound overwhelming? It is, of course, but you’re more than up to the task. You only have a year’s worth of built up momentum, so you shouldn’t be surprised by the burst of energy that’s in store (if it hasn’t already kicked in yet)! Considering the myriad distractions of this holiday season, it’s quite an impressive feat, crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s of your personal to-do list for the year - but on the other hand, you’re well aware that for you, it’s now or never. You don’t want to drag the baggage from this year into the next, and for that reasoning alone, you’re truly going to enjoy your lucky book. The narrator is a woman who was raised by her mother to sit back and wait for a young rich man to sweep her off of her feet and cater to her every need…until reality abruptly sets her straight in adulthood. Once she realizes that her daughter is going to need the learn the lessons that she never did, she owns up to her ignorance and resolves to begin anew, doing the hard work that is necessary to be the kind of person she most wants to be: a successful, empowering role model for her child. Perfect morale-boosting reading during those few and far between downtimes this month!

Lucky Book: Please Excuse My Daughter by Julie Klam

All work and no play makes you a very unhappy Pisces, isn’t that right? As the stars would have it, the world is your oyster this month - or, more accurately, your playground! Life tends to get pretty hectic this time of year, but that’s fine, because you’re having a ball! Between parties and brunches, interviews and meetings, you’re in your element as a networker and socialite, and it’s completely invigorating. There’s no better time to dive into your lucky book for this month, an illustrated history of popular entertainment that makes the case for play. Seriously. Believe it or not, that’s what’s behind the allure of so many products and innovative practices we enjoy today: someone, at some point in history, derived the idea for it from an fun activity or concept. So you can say goodbye to any lingering feelings of guilt for enjoying yourself rather than keeping your nose to the dull grindstone day in and day out. Amusement and laughter are essential to the spirit of creativity that keeps modern society afloat, after all.

LUCKY BOOK: Wonderland by Steven Johnson

Well, hello there, Aries! Feeling feisty today? Mm-hmm, we can tell. This month you’re all about the real talk, and we can’t really blame you - the past few months have had you a bit more subdued and insular than usual. December tends to bring with a feeling of finality, of a grand finish, and in order to feel prepared for the ending of this year and beginning of the next, there are some things you would really like to get off your chest. We support you unburdening yourself for the sake of your mental and emotional well-being, but Aries, please - not at the expense of those around you. There is a fine line between telling it like it is and just being mean. To give yourself some much-needed levity to balance the storm of emotions that you’d like to proclaim to the world, find a quiet corner to commune with your lucky book. It’s a collection of short stories that quickly and incisively cuts to the beautiful, often nonsensical truths of everyday life. While not 100% true to reality, they are 100% true to emotion, and that is exactly the kind of honesty you need right now.

LUCKY BOOK: The Bus Driver Who Wanted to be God and Other Stories by Etgar Keret

Taurus, it’s cold outside… All the more reason to stay in and cuddled up with that special someone! This month, you can’t be bothered with all of the hustle and bustle that the holiday season inevitably brings. Spending an hour in line only to be told the cashier is no longer accepting credit cards (and not an ATM in sight), succumbing to the pressure to stroll through a holiday market and ending the evening cold and broke, buying an ugly sweater for a party that you’ll never wear again - why suffer through any of this, when you have the indoors, and streaming services, and a cutie to enjoy both with? Relationships are your specialty this month, so go ahead and lean into the lovin’! Of course, if you’re not feeling the romance, maybe your creative or business collaborations could use a bit more TLC. Either way, no matter where your affections lie, you’ll want to soak in the deliciously dysfunctional tale of Mathilde and Lotto: half epic romance, half cautionary tale. A perfect one to binge on when you’re avoiding the outdoors.

LUCKY BOOK: Fates and Furies by Lauren Groff

Oh, Gemini, you saucy minx. With 2016 nearly gone, why not turn on your seductive powers and see who you can lure in? You’re grown bored with playing it safe and responsible - time to rip up the playbook and have some fun before the ultimate Sunday night blues of a brand new year begin to creep in. This is a great time to start casting out feelers for who you’d like to join your inner circle, so by all means, cast away! Just be cautious when it’s time for the reeling in - living life with reckless abandon comes at a price, and you can’t get off to a fresh start in the new year with new friends or partners that don’t feel entirely safe or supportive. So often the wires between love and relationships and friendship can get blurred, crossed, and impossibly knotted - better to exercise a bit of caution now (just a bit!) to avoid a mess later. If you don’t believe me, turn to your lucky book of the month, a short story collection that explores the earnest messiness of life and the hilarious, heartbreaking, harrowing ways we choose to deal with it. Adventurous and cautious (but curious) Gems alike, you don’t want to miss this one.

LUCKY BOOK: Barbara the Slut and Other People by Lauren Holmes

Cancer, believe it or not,  you’re really giving Gemini a run for its money with this dual personality stint this month! Is it that end-of-year pressure that has you feeling erratic and ready to risk it all? Or are you simply following every impulse, no matter how soft or loud? One day, you’re feeling generous and at ease, totally in tune with the rhythms of the universe and humming alongside precocious woodland creatures. The next, the storm clouds develop and you somehow find yourself hate-stalking your exes on social media. What gives? While this sort of emotional leap-frog can be disconcerting, rest assured that it won’t last for too long. And remember that there is no “bad” emotion - everything you feel is valid, and worthy of examination. Just be mindful of how you act out those emotions. Do your best to keep yourself balanced - too much false positivity or rampant negativity can leave you feel distinctly unsettled and unlike yourself. And who are you, really? The narrator of your lucky book this month will give you an absolutely spellbinding peek at how we think about ourselves and other people - how can we be sure that the ‘truth’ is not simply our perspective? Who is to say what truth is? Every relationship we have with someone is a transaction - not only in emotions, but in our shared experiences and how we remember them. No matter what mood you find yourself in from day to day, this is a book you’ll want to have close by for instant grounding.

LUCKY BOOK: All Men Are Liars by Alberto Manguel

Aw, Leo, aren’t you just a doll? With your fresh rosy cheeks and eyes all aglow. No wonder you’re having to balance so many date night requests - you’re irresistible! Enjoy this magical time of flight and fancy, Leo. A, you deserve it, and B, isn’t time you let yourself unwind and have a little fun? That may mean venturing outside of your usual prescribed boundaries for potential partners…but go on, live a little! Try to follow where your impulses take you, rather than sticking to the status quo you’ve become so comfortable with. With all of that romantic energy buzzing around inside of you, why not take a risk and see what happens? Your lucky book this month revolves around a number of different relationships, and the ways that courage, persistence, and pure want can influence our actions. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but when you decide to try something new, the results are never boring (although, at times, they may cost you). Enjoy yourself this month, Leo - it’s way overdue!

LUCKY BOOK: Modern Lovers by Emma Straub

Well, the weather outside may be frightful, but you know what’s just delightful? Your couch. Your snuggie. That brand new carton of eggnog. Oh, and the fire, of course. As far are you’re considered, ‘tis the season to kick up your feet and enjoy the creature comforts of home, and anyone who thinks otherwise is free to get loud and rowdy elsewhere. October and November were particularly trying, for a multitude of reasons, so this month you’re ready for a slower pace, some quiet reflection, and about one hundred sprawling naps. Five holiday party invitations per day aren’t fazing you this time - you’re hitting decline, decline, decline without a care in the world. And if you get the urge to see some familiar faces, invite the gang over for an intimate gathering in your space, and enjoy the lack of spilled drinks and conversations that need to be shouted to be heard. And in the quieter times, when your guests have dispersed and the only sound you hear is the cold wind howling in the trees, find a warm spot to curl up with your lucky book, a brilliant and breathtaking reimagining of Snow White that will turn your recollection of the titular cartoon film on its head. Sometimes the best way to re-center and reflect on the state of the world and ourselves is to escape into a fantasy world that echoes our own in ways we don’t expect – and believe me, this book is more than up to the task.

LUCKY BOOK: Boy, Snow, Bird by Helen Oyeyemi

Libra, Libra, Libra. Repeat after me: WOOSAH. WOOOOOSAH. Try not to let the frenetic pace of the holiday season mess with your head. I know everything feels a bit crazy right now - you’re balancing work, family plans, holiday travel, gift lists and time is just flying by. How did December get here so quickly? How is this already the end of 2016? What have you even done this year? (Woosah.) See how easy is it to spiral? But guess what: letting your anxiety take the wheel, however sensible it may seem in the moment, is rarely a good idea. Indulging in that kind of stress will only leave your brain feeling like scrambled eggs, and you’ll feel so much better, on a daily basis, if you manage to hold it together, figure out a system to keep all of those balls in the air, and stave off the inevitable burnout. And if you’re desperate for a pick-me-up amid the exhausting madness, your lucky book is here to save the day: a fascinating, high-energy, totally bad-ass story about two women in late eighteenth-century England who join what is essentially a fight club. That got your attention, didn’t it? Every time you’re tempted to dwell on the million and one things you have to do, focus instead on the task that’s right in front you, and then the one after that, one foot after another. When you’re no stranger to truly harsh circumstances, as these two women are, that’s the only way to survive.

LUCKY BOOK: The Fair Fight by Anna Freeman

Scorpio, has anyone told you lately that you’re positively glowing? Not surprising, as this is your month to finally shed that outer layer of anxiety and embrace the fun that life has to offer. Remember that? Fun? Listen, we know you’re devoted to your job, and it’s very admirable. You’ve been working hard, trying to hit your year-end goals, and crushing it. Seriously! So isn’t it time to relax, just a bit? Stop turning down your coworkers’ invitations to hang out and go enjoy that happy hour deal! Or the Love Actually trivia night that you know for a fact a handful of your friends would win in a landslide - why not make a night of it? In a world that feels increasingly manic and disjointed, and during a season that tends to bring you very low if you’re not already feeling pretty high, be sure that you’re doing what you can to take care of you. Life is meant to be lived, so why not live it the best way you can? Your lucky book for this month will be a timely and poignant reminder of exactly what it is that you’re living for, and why it’s so important to do what you can, while you can. Keep that glow, Scorpio, and don’t feel guilty about allowing yourself to enjoy the ride once in a while. You’re only going to get one.

LUCKY BOOK: On Living by Kerry Egan

Every animate and inanimate thing is inhabited by a spirit. Human beings are spirits who have managed to implant themselves selves in bodies of flesh and blood, and it is the confining vessel of the human body that causes an indwelling spirit to take on the characteristics of personality that we recognize as human nature. Beasts, birds, fish, insects, trees, flowers, and bacteria are inhabited by their own controlling spirits. The limitations of the body tend to define the evolution of the spirit. The spirit in a tree is usually less complex and less interactive than the spirit in a horse because the senses and nervous system of a horse are more sophisticated than those of a tree. Even stones, fountains, rivers, hills, fields, and mountains have their own indwelling spirits, although the natural spirits of inanimate things do not interact with human beings. They appear to us to be asleep. A higher spirit with whom we can communicate sometimes will enter and dwell inside an inanimate object such as a stone, but they do so by possessing the object and displacing its simple natural spirit.

Plant Spirit Upg:

Things I was learned (in my own experience; may not apply to others’ practice) about plant spirits:

In a neighborhood with plants/trees/flora there tends to be one plant alpha/leader/guardian per block/street. Often they are a larger and more energetically prominent plant. They protect/manage the plants in their area

Most plant spirits are really nice?? If you’re kind of course. Great energy

If you want to start communication with them, just say hi or just talk to them regularly (typically they won’t respond the first few times) and then work your way up to mutual conversation. They might even give their names if they trust you.

Tree spirits tend to show humanoid forms (at least, from what I’ve encountered) and most other plants typically don’t have a solid spiritual form and have more of an energetic presence.

  • what i say: i'm fine
  • what i mean: Come, you spirits
That tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here,
And fill me from the crown to the toe top-full
Of direst cruelty. Make thick my blood.
Stop up the access and passage to remorse,
That no compunctious visitings of nature
Shake my fell purpose, nor keep peace between
The effect and it! Come to my woman’s breasts,
And take my milk for gall, you murd'ring minist,,
Gotham Preference - How You Spend Christmas Together

Author’s Note: I know it’s like November but I really love Christmas and tend to get into the holiday spirit way too early haha! Also, these are all Christmas (as said in the title) since that’s what I celebrate and have first hand knowledge of celebrating, but I do have some one shots and preferences planned for other holidays (some of them not for Gotham).

Since I really don’t want to be caught having a billion AUs running around in my head—as I’m wont to do—I figured I may as well just write these down in bullet form (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*: ・゚✧

So, imagine Noctis can see the dead; he’s kinda always been able to do so—maybe it’s a family thing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯—and he kinda made it his “job” to help spirits move on to the afterlife. It’s an easy enough job—a lingering spirit has some regret or desire they need fulfilled before they can move on, and Noctis just needs to perform it for you. Usually, it’s just “tell (so-and-so) I love them and I’m sorry”, or whatever. Point is, the spirit tends to know what they need done in order to move on.

Then, he meets Prompto—a ghost who can’t recall anything other than his name. So, they have to first learn what they can about him and they go on this adventure to find out who he is and subsequently what is needed in order to help him make peace.

That’s wayyyyy easier said than done however, as there are absolutely no records of a Prompto Argentum anywhere—no Prompto ANYTHING in fact. They don’t even know when he died—for all they know, he could’ve been wondering around as a spirit for centuries!

Anyways; so they go on their vast adventure, maybe helping a few souls along the way, and Noctis ends up falling in love, and is struggling—because he WANTS to help Prompto move on, but he wants to stay by his side too, and he can’t do both.

Some additional notes:

• Prompto gets small flashbacks every now and again when they relive something similar, which are the only hints they find to who he is. As such, Noct and Prompto try to do EVERYTHING, in case it might trigger something, and Noct has found he was never really LIVING before Prompto came into his life

• Prompto’s life sucked. I was thinking his dad was some well known doctor who had found the cure to some horrific diseases. Turns out, he discovered them all so quickly cause he would test them on his son once he was reasonably certain they wouldn’t kill him. This is why there was no record of Prompto—a) his last name was Besithia, not Argentum, and b) Prompto Besithia was registered as stillborn

• Gladio was a soldier who died and just wanted to make sure his sister was safe, so at some point the three of them work towards helping Iris who had gone missing after Gladio was declared MIA (turns out she too became a soldier, hoping to find out as much as she could on him)

• The more they find out about Prompto, the more Noct falls in love, because the boy went through hell and back and still cares deeply for others and wants to help as many as he can

• Luna is a friend of Noct’s and a total sweetheart who talks directly to Prompto, using Noct the same way one might use a translator. Prompto is so touched he may or may not fall slightly in love. Noct is only slightly jealous, because Luna’s just that amazing, and he may have had a crush on her at some point too

• Noct hated being able to see the dead—it isolated him from others, but Prompto shows him a way to embrace it, and his ability to help lost souls

• Ignis was a detective, who was investigating Verstael Besithia for rumours of unethical procedures. There was no evidence to support it, so he was taken off the case, but he was certain something was going on so he quit his job and became a PI. Noct discreetly sends him any info he can find, and Ignis has absolutely no idea where he’s getting all this info

• Turns out, what Prompto needed to move on was someone to love him unconditionally, so he does so as soon as Noctis confesses. They haven’t yet gleamed enough evidence to incriminate Verstael when that happens. He also never learned if Prompto loved him back.

• Broken-hearted, Noct joins Ignis full time in taking Verstael down. Once they do, Prompto’s story is brought to light, and he becomes an icon that Noct adds to by giving anecdotes of the wonderful boy he was (◡‿◡✿)

• Maybe a pseudo-happy ending where Prompto and Noct are reunited in the afterlife ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno; I don’t normally do happy endings :P

…I’m probably never going to write this, but if anyone wants to talk to me about it, do so (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*: ・゚✧

Just a little PSA to followers and such; I tend to update/add/change the Verses page a lot. So, please take a look at that whenever you think I may have something new on there or wish to see what verses I actually have for Link. I kinda of have a lot, and even if it’s not yet listed or doesn’t have actual info for it yet, I will most likely still roleplay it. There is just a lot I can easily fit Link into and have ideas for.

The Nine Divines

Excerpt from The Ten Commandments of the Nine Divines found in TES: Oblivion.

“Yet Akatosh, in His wisdom, knowing how impatient is man, and how loathe he is to travel upon the hard roads of truth, has allowed these ten simple commands to be made manifest with powerful clarity and concise definition.

1. Stendarr says: Be kind and generous to the people of Tamriel. Protect the weak, heal the sick, and give to the needy.

2. Arkay says: Honor the earth, its creatures, and the spirits, living and dead. Guard and tend the bounties of the mortal world, and do not profane the spirits of the dead.

3. Mara says: Live soberly and peacefully. Honor your parents, and preserve the peace and security of home and family.

4. Zenithar says: Work hard, and you will be rewarded. Spend wisely, and you will be comfortable. Never steal, or you will be punished.

5. Talos says: Be strong for war. Be bold against enemies and evil, and defend the people of Tamriel.

6. Kynareth says: Use Nature’s gifts wisely. Respect her power, and fear her fury.

7. Dibella says: Open your heart to the noble secrets of art and love. Treasure the gifts of friendship. Seek joy and inspiration in the mysteries of love.

8. Julianos says: Know the truth. Observe the law. When in doubt, seek wisdom from the wise.

9. Akatosh says: Serve and obey your Emperor. Study the Covenants. Worship the Nine, do your duty, and heed the commands of the saints and priests.

10. The Nine say: Above all else, be good to one another.”

Here’s the main character of the webcomic I’m working on slowly . Her name is Aednat (pronounced ey-nit).

She has an adventurous spirit but tends to rush into things without thinking too much. She tends to think that her way is the best way so if someone’s opinion clashes with her’s, she can get very defencive and loud, but she is a true fighter!
