From Maeno’s Tenbushuu CD, one of the last tracks. Jikokuten talks about how the listener might not know it, but he’s been watching over her for her whole life—the day she was born, the first time she smiled, the first time she stood up… I was crying buckets. ヾ(:3ﾉｼヾ)ﾉｼ
This CD is about “a night when you want to reset”. The heroine “says” that she wants to go back to her high school days and give her old self advice, or somehow just return to that time using a time machine so she can start her life over again. She feels regret towards her past and wishes she could reset things so that her life might be more the way she wants it to be.
Jikokuten tells her that everyone feels regret sometimes. When you’re in middle school, you look back on your elementary school days and think about how stupid you were. When you’re an adult, you look back on your previous years in much the same way. However, making mistakes and even having some regrets are a part of being human and being alive. Those hard times that you experienced make you who you are now. No one can truly return to the past and even if you could—you wouldn’t be you anymore. So keep your chin up, live each day as best you can, and eventually all of your regrets will fade away into the night. The past will always be the past, but you can still change your present and future.
I think this is the first Tenbushuu CD that I’ve listened to all the way through (I own all 12 of them lmfao) because I generally fall asleep two or three tracks in… I really wanted to hear all of Maeno’s no matter what so I listened to it in the middle of the day and I was rather touched by it. ヾ(:3ﾉｼヾ)ﾉｼ As someone who often feels regret herself and stays up at night thinking about all the bad decisions she’s made, I feel like this CD really did help heal my heart a little bit.
Ahaha in the free talk, Maeno says he only knew who Jikokuten was (before recording this CD) because he was an NPC in some online game he played. Then Maeno apologized for being an undereducated “maniac” omfg baby klsdfsjsldjf ヾ(:3ﾉｼヾ)ﾉｼ
(Last two scans are interviews with Kimura Ryouhei, Hino Satoshi, Konishi Katsuyuki and Toriumi Kousuke for the first CD ‘Shugou-shin hen’ or 'Guardian Deities’)
Just a translation of their answers for the questions “Do you share any similarities with the character?” and “Please tell us about lines or scenes that left an impression on you." (phrased differently but same question)
The official Twitter for Tenbushuu ni Iyasare series just updated like… two minutes ago. A quick translation:
(Notice) “Tenbushuu ni Iyasare series” does not make use of the dummy head mic. Our apologies…! However, there is a theme song (BGM) inserted, which makes it a CD that invites the listener to a good night’s sleep.
Not that I was expecting anything like that, although it seems to be a given that most of these talk CDs (especially those that are meant to be listened to in bed) nowadays make use of the dummy head mic. Oh well! Still looking forward to it, or rather, looking forward to it even more now! (´￢｀)
天部衆に癒されCD (Tenbushuu ni Iyasare CD) from B’s Log Jan 2013
Gotta love the chibis! ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ
Ashura-ou : “I am here only for you. That is why I want you to tell me more about your true feelings”
Karura-ou: “For the time being I will hear you out until you are satisfied, so until you naturally fall asleep, tell oniichan (older brother) anything?"
Taishakuten: "Well, I guess just for tonight, I’ll have to comfort you. You better be thankful a million times for your own luck and my magnanimity”
Bonten: “If you drop a tear, I will wipe that tear away for you. So relax and come let me hold you”
So um I tried my best! While I’m scanning stuff in, I’m focusing more on translating the text so apologies for the bad quality! Also if the translations don’t sit well with you, please let me know! (✿◠‿◠)
This came early! ♥ ヽ(；▽；)ノ I’m sure most of you would know what this series is about by now. I’m starting from the last CD because I don’t own the first two yet… This one has Toriumi Kousuke voicing the beautiful Bonten. In case you’re wondering, this series does not make use of the dummy head mic.
Putting this before the actual post just in case: there might be spoilers!
The sample voices for the Tenbushuu ni Iyasare series Guardian Deities edition will be put up in early December. Apart from the sample voices, there will also be a countdown drama! This is a drama starring all members. Though it will have a very different atmosphere from the original CD… Please look forward to both!
argh sgjassd all this anticipation is murdering me
