Hades (ハーデス) The god of the Underwold in Greek mythology, son of the Titans Cronus and Rhea. According to a single famous passage in the Iliad (xv.187–93), Hades and his two brothers, Poseidon and Zeus, drew lots for realms to rule. Zeus got the sky, Poseidon got the seas, and Hades received the underworld, the unseen realm to which the souls of the dead go upon leaving the world as well as any and all things beneath the earth.
In Saint Seiya, he is one of the many gods that challenge Athena in Holy Wars to win control over Earth. Unlike Athena, who reincarnates in a similar looking (human) body every era, and Poseidon, who reincarnates in a descendant of the Solo bloodline, Hades chooses the human with the purest heart as his host. These have included Alone (ND & LC) and Andromeda Shun (SS).
His army consists of 108 Specters, 3 of which are the most powerful and command the rest (Judges), and Pandora, who acts as leader on his behalf. The armor Hades wears is a Surplice, not a God Cloth.

Capricorn Shura (山羊座のシュラ) In Greek mythology, the constellation is sometimes identified as Amalthea, the goat that suckled the infant Zeus after his mother Rhea saved him from being devoured by his father Cronos. Capricornus is also sometimes identified as Pan, who saved himself from the monster Typhon by giving himself a fish’s tail and diving into a river.
As revealed by Masami Kurumada in vol.12 of his manga, Shura became a Gold Saint at the age of 10. In the anime, he is depicted as one of Athena’s most loyal Saints, while in the manga, he doesn’t really believe in “fighting for a god” per se. It’s only before his death that he regains faith in Athena and remains loyal to her during the Hades arc.
