Drunk dial reveal AUs

1. Marinette drunk-dials Adrien to tell him she’s in love with him, but chickens out and accidentally tells him that she’s Ladybug instead. She doesn’t remember what she said the next morning, but Adrien sure does, and now he can’t get it out of his head - is Marinette really his lady, or was Drunkinette just fucking with him?

2. Adrien drunk-dials Marinette. Predictably, she freaks out, drops her phone, and lets it go to voicemail. He leaves a very long voicemail complaining about how torn he is between her and Ladybug and rhapsodizing about how much he loves her freckles and her hair and her nose and how inspiring she is. Ends the call by saying, “I love you, Princess.” In the morning, neither of them can quite meet the other’s eyes without blushing.

DAY 2 OF THIS WONDERFUL SHIP’S WEEK: hero/villain

talking from experience, when all you wanna do is finish your damn project the person trying to pull you away from it (for whatever reason) may seem like a monster or a villain but in this case lance was only looking after shiro.

Hak is not a Nice Guy™: A rant by me

**Note: I apologize in advance if this comes across as angry and vitriolic, but I really like Hak a lot. I think he’s a wonderful leading man who genuinely cares and respects Yona in ways I so rarely see in popular media, so to see him being criticized for not being a Nice Guy™ really, really grinds my gears and I felt it necessary to say something. So… yeah.

So I go on a manga reading website to read AnY, and in one of the forum I see a great big jumble of bullshit masquerading as a forum post. I’ll spare you guys most of it, but I screenshotted the part that made me livid because, especially for the anime but also for the manga, I see the same sort of reasoning ALL THE TIME.

Not only is this just…. super gross generally, but it shows a fundamental misunderstanding of Hak as character. Hak is not a Nice Guy™ who is caring for Yona with ulterior motive of “Oh, if I just stick around long enough and remain hopeful, someday she’s gonna fall for me, right??” No. NO NO NO NO. That is not Hak. That was never Hak. He is not here at Yona’s side hoping and waiting for the moment that she’ll someday love him, and it sure as  hell isn’t the reason he’s still there after all this time. Does he love her, and did he try to make such apparent to her originally? For sure. Does he believe if he just remains persistent, she’ll someday love him back? No. Nooooooo. NO.

I’ve finally had the chance to start working on the second to last chapter of obs&bh! I still hope to have it finished by Sunday :D

The title comes from the song ‘The Greatest Bastard’ by Damien Rice which is so ridiculously appropriate for the chapter. Honestly, pretty much every line could have ended up the title!

modern au mchanzo where hanzo and mccree bump into each other in a coffee shop or whatever and mccree accidentally spills hanzo’s coffee on the floor and because he’s a gentleman he buys him a new one, and they’re both pretty flustered but hanzo has an appointment so he has to leave quickly. later that day hanzo talks to genji about his boy troubles and laments the fact that he didn’t get the cute guy’s number before he left and genji acts exasperated but is secretly pleased that hanzo comes to him to talk about silly things like cute boys so he’s supportive. then the next day genji’s hanging out with mccree and mccree gives him the exact same story of how he ran into a cute guy at the coffee shop but forgot to ask for his number. genji immediately knows what’s up but doesn’t tell mccree who hanzo is and instead tells him something like ‘this is a sign that you need to start dating again mccree, will you allow me to set up a blind date for you? i know just the guy’ and mccree is like ‘whatever’ but then it turns out hanzo is his blind date and they become boyfriends the end

We’re up all night thinking about what she has that we don’t but instead we should ask ourselves what part of us we never let him see. Because the truth is that we guard ourselves and we hide important pieces of our lives to avoid getting hurt. But really, if we don’t put our whole selves out there, even though it means exposing ourselves to potential pain, we don’t have a right to complain that we failed because technically, we didn’t even truly try.

See we do this thing where we hide half of ourselves from the people we care about and then wonder why we’re not enough. But the truth is, maybe the new girl doesn’t push him away when he tries to hold her hand on the train. Maybe when something’s wrong she cries into his chest and tells him about it instead of saying she’s tired and going home. Maybe his phone calls don’t get pushed to voicemail. Maybe he knows why she doesn’t get along with her mother and what she’s insecure about. Maybe sharing all those vulnerabilities made him feel wanted, trusted, needed, and safe. And maybe if we had been open about all these parts of our own lives, we would still have him.

But the reason we can’t do this is because maybe we do show all of our cards, and he still leaves. And then we’ll know that everything we have is still not enough. Or what’s even worse, maybe it’s too much. But either way, there’s nothing else to blame it on besides our true selves not being what he wants. And that’s way too hard of a truth to risk having to face. So instead we just hope that the parts of us we want him to see are enough. And when he wants more, like we know he will, rather than opening up, we let him leave.
I will be honest to God about how i feel. If i feel sad, i will tell Him. If i feel pained, i will tell Him. Instead of being hypocritical to my feelings and acting like i’m not weak, i will be honest to Him, because He knows me anyway.

Favorite Moments from every Season >>> Season 1

Sansa and her “Stark connection”

Since the fandom is always saying how Sansa is not a Real Stark ™    I wanted to  make a post in which I explain why Sansa, born in the Winter (unlike Arya or Bran or Rickon born in the long Summer), in Winterfell (unlike Jon or Robb born in the south) will always be a Stark ( no Lannister or Baelish or whatever…), no matter who she is forced to marry (to survive I might add..).

In AGOT Sansa (before her father died, and when she was meant to marry joffrey) is already very proud of her Stark origins.

Alyn carried the Stark banner. When she saw him rein in beside Lord Beric to exchange words, it made Sansa feel ever so proud.

While prefering The Seven (like her mother) she does admire the poetry of the old gods.

Besides, even if she could leave the castle, where would she go? It was enough that she could walk in the yard, pick flowers in Myrcella’s garden, and visit the sept to pray for her father. Sometimes she prayed in the godswood as well, since the Starks kept the old gods.

By the time she reached the godswood, the noises had faded to a faint rattle of steel and a distant shouting. Sansa pulled her cloak tighter. The air was rich with the smells of earth and leaf. Lady would have liked this place, she thought. There was something wild about a godswood; even here, in the heart of the castle at the heart of the city, you could feel the old gods watching with a thousand unseen eyes.

While she is called little bird, or little dove (when people want to undermine her), she is called wolf  too.

Tyrion found himself thinking of his wife. Not Sansa; his first wife, Tysha. The whore wife, not the wolf wife.

“Your Grace has forgotten the Lady Sansa,” said Pycelle.

The queen bristled. “I most certainly have not forgotten that little she-wolf.” She refused to say the girl’s name.

And Sansa herself when she is in put  a hard position takes courage in her Stark origins. Its something that gives her  strength:

Do as you’re told, sweetling, it won’t be so bad. Wolves are supposed to be brave, aren’t they?

“Brave. Sansa took a deep breath. I am a Stark, yes, I can be brave.

"Winterfell?” Robert was small for eight, a stick of a boy with splotchy skin and eyes that were always runny. Under one arm he clutched the threadbare cloth doll he carried everywhere.

Winterfell is the seat of House Stark,” Sansa told her husband-to-be. “The great castle of the north.”

“Do you require guarding?” Marillion said lightly. “I am composing a new song, you should know. A song so sweet and sad it will melt even your frozen heart. ‘The Roadside Rose,’ I mean to call it. About a baseborn girl so beautiful she bewitched every man who laid eyes upon her.

I am a Stark of Winterfell, she longed to tell him. Instead she nodded, and let him escort her down the tower steps and along a bridge.

Petyr put his arm around her. “What if it is truth he wants, and justice for his murdered lady?” He smiled. “I know Lord Nestor, sweetling. Do you imagine I’d ever let him harm my daughter?

"I am not your daughter, she thought. I am Sansa Stark, Lord Eddard’s daughter and Lady Catelyn’s, the blood of Winterfell.

"As was bringing me here, when you swore to take me home.”She wondered where this courage had come from, to speak to him so frankly. From Winterfell, she thought. I am stronger within the walls of Winterfell.

I will tell my aunt that I don’t want to marry Robert. Not even the High Septon himself could declare a woman married if she refused to say the vows. She wasn’t a beggar, no matter what her aunt said. She was thirteen, a woman flowered and wed, the heir to Winterfell.

.His seamed and solemn face brought back all of Sansa’s memories of his time at Winterfell. She remembered him at table, speaking quietly with her mother. She heard his voice booming off the walls when he rode back from a hunt with a buck behind his saddle. She could see him in the yard, a practice sword in hand, hammering her father to the ground and turning to defeat Ser Rodrik as well. He will know me. How could he not? She considered throwing herself at his feet to beg for his protection. He never fought for Robb, why should he fight for me?

From the high battlements of the gatehouse, the whole world spread out below them. Sansa could see the Great Sept of Baelor on Visenya’s hill, where her father had died. At the other end of the Street of the Sisters stood the fire-blackened ruins of the Dragonpit. To the west, the swollen red sun was half-hidden behind the Gate of the Gods. The salt sea was at her back, and to the south was the fish market and the docks and the swirling torrent of the Blackwater Rush. And to the north …She turned that way, and saw only the city, streets and alleys and hills and bottoms and more streets and more alleys and the stone of distant walls. Yet she knew that beyond them was open country, farms and fields and forests, and beyond that, north and north and north again, stood Winterfell.

but personally my favorite line about Sansa being always a Stark and belonging North in Winterfell  (Never a Lannister! , no matter who she marries) is this quote by Ned:

When it was over, he said, “Choose four men and have them take the body north. Bury her at Winterfell.”

“All that way?” Jory said, astonished.

“All that way,” Ned affirmed. “The Lannister woman shall never have this skin.

Sansa whole story (to me) is about her journey retaking her Stark origins which were stolen from her in the worst of way, just like they killed her wolf Lady. But just like Lady remains, Sansa place is and always will be in the north, as a Stark of Winterfell.

Boy will you ever.

Did you wish that was you? // Shawn Mendes

Overview: Y/n has been in love with her best friend Shawn, she finally gets the courage to tell him but instead she finds him kissing another girl. He tracks her down and their feelings are revealed.

Authors note: okay so this is not a request but I got some inspo last night and I really just wanted to write something

“If you don’t say anything, Shawn’s never going to realise how his best friend is so in love with him,” Shay tells me, curling the last strand of her hair before flicking it over her shoulder. Her eyes meet mine in the bathroom mirror.

“There’s no point. We have a great thing going and if I told him how I really felt- it would just ruin our whole friendship.” I scowl, annoyed at my lack of faith in myself to just tell Shawn how I feel.

“Y/n. I swear you may be book smart but you are not boy smart.” She giggles and I look at her questionably.

“Excuse you, but I have a lot of knowledge on boys-”

“Oh honey,” Shay coos, patting my hand that was resting on the bench. “You both are actually so cute.”

“What do you mean?” I start to pack up the make up brushes that Shay had been using.

“You’re into him. He’s definitely into you. You’re both too scared to tell each other how you feel. It pains me to watch the both of you together.”

“He’s not into me.” I don’t look at her but I feel her turn to look at me.

“Alright, listen. Tonight at the party. Shawn is going to be there and so are you. You’re going to go right up to him and tell him how you feel.” She holds my shoulders in a tight grip, forcing me to meet her eyes. “He leaves for tour day after next so if things really fuck up you won’t have to see him- deal?”

I nod hesitantly, stomach flipping at the prospect of what I was about to do.
