teenage mutant ninja turtles theme song

theparadoxwitchofvoid  asked:

If I met Daveed I'd probably say something incredibly stupid like "I came to see my favorite fighting Frenchman." With Rafa it'd be something along the lines of "Rafael has the most attitude on the team" and then proceed into the teenage mutant ninja turtle theme song. And this, kids, is the story of how I would get myself thrown out of a clipping concert.

One Direction as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (insp.)

↳ (2/5) Louis as Raphael

“The red turtle. The guy that the brothers always want watching their back in a fight. He is a man of action. He has a somewhat cynical and sarcastic sense of humor. Usually depicted as being sullen, fierce, strong and rebellious. The show’s (1987 animated series) theme song states that Raphael is ‘cool, but crude’. Raphael is a sarcastic wise-guy, and supplies comic relief alongside Michelangelo, whose humor is usually attributed to his ignorance and spaciness, whereas Raphael is more sarcastic and witty.” +/+

My Top 10 Favorite Animated Opening Theme Songs

My buddies did a list of favorite original songs from animated shows. I haven’t because it would take a while. Until then, here’s something else. I did put a few rules for myself on this on. NO anime openings. NO English dub opening songs (sorry Pokemon). Lyrics or instrumental don’t matter, but the songs have to be so good I’d want to listen to them on my music player.

10. “Judo Flip” The Boondocks

I loved The Boondocks. I also loved the music in this show. It was mostly done by the artist Asheru. It was fresh, hip and soulful. This opening lets you know that you’re dealing with someone who has been enlightened by their struggles.

9. “The Chosen One” American Dragon Jake Long

Listening to Dante Basco freestyle is both great and hilarious. I like both versions, so they share this spot. Pop punk with a smidge of Chinese influences and you got yourself a cool theme song.

Ya’ heard?

8. “What’s New, Scooby-Doo?” What’s New, Scooby-Doo?

I love pop punk. I love pop punk! Simple Plan is a long time name and they made an upbeat, lively theme into the Scooby-Doo lineup. Think of it as a updated version of the original show.

7. “It’s Ladybug!” Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir

Yeah, it’s kinda campy and silly but so is the show. The theme lets Ladybug and Cat Noir share the spotlight and paints the show in your mind perfectly

6. “We are the Crystal Gems” Steven Universe

I never get tired of hearing this song. All the actors sing beautifully. Optimism and harmony. What more can you ask for?

5. “In the Loud House” The Loud House

I love pop punk. I grew up with it, and I still like it today. This song is as energetic as the show itself. It fits and the theme of family is still there.

4. “A World Without Danger” Code Lyoko

The show is fine. The theme is uplifting to me. Filling me with hope and optimism. The idea of a bright future and that electronica sound is fantastic. I know it’s too corny for some, but sometimes I really need that optimism in my life.

3. “He’s Iron Man” Iron Man: Armored Adventures

I’m going to be honest I don’t really like this show that much. Major problem? It’s boring. Plain and simple. The premise isn’t super great either. Tony Stark as a teenager? Forget it. But the theme is a riffing good time. Rock with the little bits of electronica to throw in the tech influence and you’ll be cheering for everyone’s favorite jerk with a heart of gold. Just not the kid in the show.

2. “Spectacular!” The Spectacular Spider-Man

My favorite of all the Spider-Man cartoons, and that’s because I grew up loving the 1994 series. It’s not nostalgia. It’s my lifelong hero being perfected. The theme is catching and creative, not relying on previous themes. I jam out to this song, throwing my hands in the air saying “spectacular” over and over.

1. “Fight As One” Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes

You hear this theme and you know it’s ass kicking time. A rock tune that gets you pumped to save the world. When the world is in despair, you put your cape on and fight. Because if we can’t save the world, you can bet your ass we’ll avenge it.

Honorable Mention: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Pick one. Any one.

Marmin Week, Day 2: Talk Nerdy to Me

Armin and Marco are roommates with Eren and Jean. They watch nerdy shows and sing along with the theme songs. They also double-date a lot.

Noel and the TMNT2 cast sing ‘TMNT’ theme song!

Why don’t we have stuff like this anymore? Now it’s like “don’t do drugs, or you’ll burn in hell” or “OMG pizza will make you fat”. Like seriously the teenage mutant ninja turtles knew what was up.

“Tangled” Animated TV Series Based on Film Coming to Disney Channel

Per Variety:

“Tangled” is heading to the small screen. Based on the 2010 feature film from Walt Disney Animation Studios, the animated television series is slated to premiere on Disney Channel in 2017.

Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi will reprise their roles, voicing Rapunzel and Eugene, also known as Flynn Rider, respectively.

The series follows the success of Disney Channel’s 2012 “Tangled Ever After” short, which brought in five million total viewers.

The Disney Television Animation project reunites the movie’s composer Alan Menken and lyricist Glenn Slater who will work on the series, which is being developed by exec producer Chris Sonnenburg (“Enchanted”), who will also serve as supervising director, and Shane Prigmore (“The Lego Movie”), who is co-exec producer and creator director.

“The genius of the original movie was its seamless blending of cinematic adventure, character-driven comedy and touching emotion. And we are fortunate to have several of the creative talent from that movie on board with this new production,” commented Gary Marsh, president and CCO of Disney Channels Worldwide. “With the addition of Chris and Shane as executive producers, we have the perfect team in place to create a series worthy of the original film.”

“Tangled” on Disney Channel is set between the events of the original film and the start of “Tangled Ever After.” The series follows the long-locked Rapunzel (Moore), as she acquaints herself with her parents, her kingdom and the people of Corona, and realizes there is much more she needs to learn before she can truly accept her royal destiny, causing her to put her crown and put her marriage on hold to seek out epic adventures, much to the dismay of her father, the King. Accompanying Rapunzel on her journey will be the charming bandit Eugene (Levi); the plucky chameleon sidekick, Pascal; the no-nonsense horse, Maximus; the Snuggly Duckling Pub Thugs; and newcomer Cassandra, a tough-as-nails handmaiden, who becomes Rapunzel’s confidant.

Jase Ricci (“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”) is the story editor on the “Tangled” series and Kevin Kliesch (“Tangled Ever After”) will serve as the score composer. Claire Keane (“Frozen,” “Tangled”) consulted on development of the series.

The “Tangled” series is the latest step in the Disney franchise, following the huge box office success. The Golden Globe and Academy Award-nominated film opened with $68.7 million and earned $200 million domestically and over $593 million globally. The original song “I See the Light,” recorded by Moore and Levi, also won a Grammy Award.

“Tangled” is also featured at Disney theme parks, and Rapunzel has become one of the top-selling Disney Princesses among Disney Store and Disney Publishing merchandise. The tale is being adapted for a stage show on Disney Magic cruise ship, set to premiere onboard this November.

Predictions for Ninjago movie

I know, it’s too early to guess. That’s why I’m doing it - I want to see how much I can get right. I’m basing it off all the films I’ve watched targeted at kids and young hearts. Majority sound too trivial to list. I hope Lego looks out of the box and surpasses my expectations.

Also, I do expect I’ll get a lot of things wrong, and some are just plain gambles and guesses, so we’ll share a laugh when the trailers and movie come out.

Characters and Plot

  • The five ninja, Wu and Nya as the important main characters (duh) with all their core traits highlighted
  • More Nya focus for feminism, with a lot of scenes of her being badbutt cool
  • Lloyd’s master builder status will be addressed
  • A cameo by one or a few Lego Movie characters
  • OR many Lego Movie characters shown in one scene where Lloyd shows up for his master builder business
  • a romance subplot (likely Jaya)
  • Quirky but evil new villain with an army of robots/zombies/idiot minions/skeletons/whatever non-human species you’d be OK to kill voiced by popular actor
  • Disappointing lack of:
    • P.I.X.A.L.
    • Skylor
    • Every season-exclusive character (tournament characters and Cyrus Borg)
    • Overlord
    • Garmadon (or less attention)
    • Dareth (unless writers love him)
  • A small possibility of Kai having his Lego minifigure hair and scarred face instead of TV show (or a moment’s reference of it)
  • A temporary betrayal by one of the ninja (or a main character). At least a cowardly kind.
  • If you do, do not hope for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to cameo even in the background due to fans comparing them

(note: official sources say it’ll be part of The Lego Movie universe)

  • Lego movement and stop-motion (like Lego Movie)
  • Very similar style with The Lego Movie
  • A lot of animation action scenes
  • Scenes of the ninja just hanging out being teen bros
  • A healthy amount of laughter

  • The Fold songs featured (at least two!)
  • The Weekend Whip (kinda the Ninjago theme song) played right after movie in credits

anonymous asked:

holsom for those ship asks if u ship them?

  • sings the teenage mutant ninja turtles theme song until it gets stuck in the other’s head:
    • are you kidding me it’s holster 100% of the time. every time he goes home over break he watches everything he had recording on his mom’s dvr and comes back singing the tmnt theme song for like 2 weeks and disrupting the coral reef until ransom has to hum the song under his breath to remember his flash card info during his tests.
  • rides the biggest, scariest roller coaster at the amusement park – twice
    • they both do this. they are adrenaline monsters and we should be afraid.
  • stays up until 3am hunting for shiny pokemon
    • rANSOM. before coral reef mode sets in he is the Ultimate Procrastinator and overdoes everything that is not studying. beats 2048. cleans the attic with actual chemicals. drives rainbow road on 150ccs until he consistently makes 1st place. exfoliates his skin until hes as slick and shiny as a marachino cherry. holster has to reel him in by the seat of his salmon shorts.
  • trips on nothing
    • holster??? but like over his giant pancake feet???
  • gives really nice massages
    • RANSOM. all his aunties have trained him well. 5/7 times when u hear holster moaning from the attic its because ransom dug his thumb into a hard knot in his trapezius muscle.
  • draws all over napkins
    • i feel like they both do this for different reasons?? like holster would do it if he’s trying to explain something…like if someone asks about got characters he has to draw a fucking map. ransom obsessively scribbles when he’s out and thinks of something for school or an excel sheet. and of course, planning Hockey Shit with Ransom and Holster ™
  • buys +$90 worth of lush products
    • R A N S O M. he knows how to take care of his skin. alternatively, holster, but as a gift for ransom. coral reef cooldown mode involves a lot of bath bombs and scented lotion and sugar scrubs.
  • has a mug reserved for alcohol
    • they would drink straight vodka out of jack’s smelly yellow shoes if they felt so inclined.
  • cooks enough pasta to feed the whole neighbourhood
    • i feel like if either of them could cook this would be ransom. gotta know how to feed a big family, and food is like a Big Thing for Yoruba families. (?? according to my yoruba friend)
  • falls asleep immediately after sex
    • HOLSTER. he fucks out quick and hes out for at least 2 hours. ransom has been unable to get out from under him on multiple occasions–now he keeps a book within reach of the bottom bunk at all times.
  • only drinks soda
    • they are both atheletes and drink plenty of water but outside hockey and kegsters they both drink a lot of soda. and red bull. when they arent drunk at a party or gearing up for a game they are hYPED on caffeine and sugar.
  • makes terrible puns at every given opportunity
    • holster. just…stop. just stop adam.
  • jaywalks
    • neither of them have any feelings toward those white lines on the road. get out of the way cars, greatness is walking.
  • will try any food once
    • i feel like they will both do this but only while together. like, “you up for it bro?” “hell yeah im up for it bro but only if my bro is up for it” “bro im so up for it” and so they eat the thing. they are each a large part of the other’s impulse control.
Bts as Texts my friends have sent me in a group chat called 'losers'

Suga: “I’m going to slap you with my tail and I swear it will hurt a lot more then when I slapped you when you stayed over ”

Jin: “When u need to go to the store but you also have to look like a bottle of Pepto Bismal”

Taehyung: “My talents include being able to sing the entire teenage mutant ninja turtle theme song including all musical back round noise”

Jungkook: “Sometimes I’m just like “EVERYONE LOVE ME”
And other times I’m like “im going to hug you now, this means nothing”

Jimin: “Just because I openly hoe around does not mean it’s a good thing to do”

Jhope: “Me and my cousin naruto ran in front of the White House, the wind in our hair and the sharingan in our eyes, screaming all the way to his mamas house”

Rapmonster: “I feel u don’t understand the extent of to which I want to be a mermaid ”

This Orchestrated version of TMNT theme song always gets me so PUMPED about the show! :) Had to share for those who have never heard it!
