This one is from “Teenage Mutant Ninja Roommates.” Right before this photo was taken, we had just all been scolded by the Line Producer Scott for dancing to “I Can’t Wait” by Nu Shooz in-between takes. Apparently it was “night time” and we needed to “tone it down a bit” because we were “in a neighborhood” or something. Anyways… That was a fun night.
Here’s Adam looking great and getting mic’d up by Christina (sound). It was the hottest shoot day we’d ever had and you couldn’t even escape the heat in the shade. I actually got heat exhaustion that day 3 hours into the shoot. I’ll never say “hats are dumb” again.
It was so hot during the day in Santa Clarita during shooting for “Teenage Mutant Ninja Roommates, we couldn’t wait until night time. At lunch everyone hung out at the pool or took a nap. I had to go lay down in one of the actor’s trailers cuz I got so heat sick. And of course it became polarizingly cold at night. Never can win in LA, you guys.
To get a shot of the water sinking in from the drain pipe the crew had to create an entire drainage system and pump all the extra water out to avoid flooding the sound stage.
The sludge mixture that looked like poop water was made with brownie mix, pudding mix and oatmeal. It was entirely edible, albeit disgusting.
