Talented Iraqi Architect Manhal Al-Habbobi  منهل الحبوبي talks about his journey for the design of the New Iraqi Council of Ministers Building which he won the competition to build. A very moving speech about his vision and inspiration by the heritage, continuity, and infinity of the Mesopotamian civilization which enabled him to find the right symbols for his architectural design. TEDxBaghdad seems to have had some good speakers. Looking forward for more!

The TEDxbaghdad caption for the video: How can you encapsulate thousands of years of culture and civilization into one design? Manhal Al-Habbobi accomplished this feat and will invoke your senses by taking you on a tour of Iraq’s ancient history emblazoned in a work of architectural genius.
