tears are salty

How Do You Know - Part 2

A/N: I FINALLY WROTE PART 2 AYEE! Are y’all proud of me now? I’ve just been so busy with school and I didn’t have time. I’m probably gonna fail my test tomorrow cause I wrote this instead of studying but oh well
I wanna thank everone that messaged me and requested a part 2, you’re a real one! I suggest reading the first part so this whole thing makes sense. Here’s the link: Part 1.
Fun fact: I tried uploading this like 4 times but my laptop kept crashing before I could save the draft so that’s great :))) Anyways, I hope you like this one!

It was as if time had stopped. Jonah couldn’t move, couldn’t talk. He only stared at the kitchen door where you had been standing just seconds ago. Confusion and shock were written all over his face, making it clear he had no idea of what was going on. Your words rang through his head, loud and clear, while he was trying to put the pieces together. And then it hit him. “…break up with (Y/N)” That must have been what set you off. That little part of his speech must have been the only thing you had heard.

Suddenly the room started spinning. Jonah’s vision turned blurry, his ears were ringing and his breathing came out shallow. He saw the guys talking to him but his mind couldn’t comprehend what they were saying. When did they even come in here? It was as if someone had taken over his body, making him lose all senses. His thoughts were racing, going a million miles per hour. He tried to stop his body from shaking but to no avail. Tears were streaming down his face, making it hard to see. There was a deep ache in his chest which finally pushed him over the edge. A hand trying to grab him was the last thing he saw before everything went black.

You were curled up on your couch, surrounded by tissues and stared at the wall blankly. You had run out of tears after crying for hours straight. Now the only thing that was left was the dull pain. You tried distracting yourself but your mind seemed to only focus on the one thing you desperately wanted to forget. You kept telling yourself that you were okay, that this was for the best but you knew you were lying. How could you be okay? You loved this boy with everything you had. The hurt you felt when hearing his words seemed humanly impossible. It was as if your whole world had fallen apart, destroyed by the one person that had made it complete. Jonah was your everything, your forever and always, your first and you thought he would be your last too.

“How could you be so stupid?” You were angry. Angry at Jonah for doing this to you, angry at the boys for playing along but mostly angry at yourself for letting him wreck you like this. You wondered how long he had felt this way, how long he had been faking it. Maybe it was never real to begin with? You thought back to all the memories you had made, the day you had met, your first date, going on adventures in the middle of the night, him teaching you how to play the guitar, slow dancing to random songs in your small dorm room, all the inside jokes, all the laughs you shared, every hug and every kiss. No. That couldn’t have been fake. You knew Jonah better than anyone, you could read him like an open book. You remembered how his face would light up whenever he saw you, the small smile he would wear when you were talking and the love in his eyes whenever he would look at you. Thinking back to the incident, you remembered how excited he had been when he saw you and the way his face fell when you started screaming, the confusion clearly prominent on his face. He didn’t want to break up with you.

The ringing phone next to you brought you back to reality. Zach’s name along with a dumb picture of him flashed across the screen. The boys had been calling you non-stop since you got home but you declined every call. This time though something told you to pick up. “Hello?” Your voice came out quiet and shaky and you mentally cursed yourself for sounding so vulnerable. “Oh god, (Y/N), you finally picked up!” You had never heard Zach sound so stressed like he did in this moment. There were a lot of different sounds and voices in the background, making you wonder where he was. “Listen, Jonah, uhm he- he had a panic attack. After you left he got so quiet and we tried talking to him but he wasn’t responding and then he started shaking like crazy and collapsed onto the floor. We’re at the hospital right now and I’m just- I’m so scared. (Y/N/N), you need to come please. He needs you. We need you” The last part came out in a whisper but you still heard him loud and clear. “I’m on my way” was the only thing you said before hanging up and jumping off the couch.

Zach’s words hit you like a bus. You felt everything and nothing at the same time. Your emotions were going crazy and there was no way to control them. Quickly, you threw on a hoodie, some shoes and grabbed your key on your way out. You didn’t even bother checking your appearance, knowing you looked like death. You sprinted to your car, Jonah the only thing on your mind. Driving as fast as you could, not even bothering if you hit any red lights, you made your way to the hospital. When you walked in you already saw Zach and Daniel waiting at the door for you. Catching their attention immediately you ran over to them and wrapped them in a tight hug. You could see the worry on their faces and their tear-stained cheeks made it clear that they were as scared for him as you were. The three of you walked to Jack and Corbyn and once they saw you approaching, they got up and hugged you too. That’s when the tears started falling again.

You had been sitting in the waiting room for what felt like hours, trying to get comfortable on those chairs. Your crying had stopped but the atmosphere was still tense. “Are you here for Jonah Marais?” Hearing the voice, you all jumped to your feet and looked at the doctor. You only nodded your head, unable to form words. “You don’t need to worry, he is stable. Mr. Marais had a panic attack due to huge stress and passed out. I believe you all know what had caused the stress in the first place. Anyways, he woke up about ten minutes ago and is now ready for visitors. But be careful, don’t overwhelm him.” The doctor gave you a little smile and turned around, leaving to go see another patient.

You just stood there, awkwardly staring at the door. Zach gave you a little push and nodded his head, signalling for you to go in first. You closed your eyes, taking in a huge breath and walked towards the room. You entered and closed the door behind you.

Jonah heard the door close and looked up. Once he realized it was you a huge smile made its way to his face. But it was soon gone when he remembered the events from earlier. He looked at you carefully, wondering what you were doing here. You walked further into the room, stopping directly in front of the bed he was lying in and surprised him by bending down and wrapping your tiny arms around his shoulders. Jonah didn’t hesitate for a second and pulled you down so you were sitting next to him. He nuzzled his head into your neck and breathed in your scent. He didn’t know when he would get to hold you like this again so he wanted to savour this moment.

He pulled away when he felt something wet making contact with his shirt and when he looked at your bloodshot eyes and tear-stained cheeks his heart broke a little. “Don’t you dare do this again, Marais, do you understand me? Do you have any idea how worried we were? We didn’t know what was going on, nobody wanted to tell us anything. I was already preparing myself for the worst. And the boys were so scared, I mean, they wouldn’t admit it but I could tell by the looks on their faces. We thought we would lose you!” He just stared at you, taking it all in. He looked at your cheeks that had red dots all over them from your salty tears, at your nose that was red from blowing it too much earlier, at your lips that were quivering, into your eyes that were still glossy, at your hair that was hastily thrown into a bun and had a few strands falling out and at your fingers that were playing with the hem of his sweatshirt out of habit. He knew he had to tell you. It was now or never.

“I love you.” You froze. Looking up you were met with Jonah’s eyes staring at you. Did I hear right? You thought you were dreaming but judging by the hopeful look on his face it was real. Tears started to make their way down your face again but this time out of happiness. You let out a little giggle and leaned forward “And I love you.” That was all it took. Jonah placed his lips on yours, pulling you into him again. You both smiled into the kiss and only pulled away when you heard cheers coming from the doorway.

“I can’t imagine my life without you. It’s you and me forever, princess.” “I know, Jonah, I know.”

AitD part 9 sneak peak ;)

so this is actually part of a wip tag (i was tagged by this lovely ❤️ @smollbaekhyun) but i decided to just show you guys a bit of part 9 to aitd, since i know many of you are anticipating it! Enjoy ~

“You lied to me!” the 15yr old Jungkook screeched in agony. He couldn’t stop the salty tears from streaming down his puffy face, as he looked at his older brother with pure hatred.

Jin, lifelessly looked at his youngest sibling and sighed in an annoyed tone, “What was I supposed to tell you?”

“The truth!” the doe eyed boy spat.

“It doesn’t work like that Jungkook, especially in this family.”

“Family?!” Jungkook laughed, sounding as if he had gone insane. “You think I’d call this a family?!”

At that, Jin closed his eyes in frustration – he knew that it was never easy for any of them to find out the truth, but Jungkook was by far taking it the worse. He recalled the others had shown great anger momentarily, but then they would get over it. Hell, even him himself hadn’t shown any emotions when his father told him the truth about his own mother. But maybe that was because Jungkook was different from the rest of them. He still… felt emotion, he still cared for others, and hadn’t become a cold-hearted machine that followed orders like the rest of them did.

And that’s when Jin discovered he had to change that.

“Why are you getting so upset Kookie?” the elder said with a chilling voice. “I understand that your mother dying is quite saddening, but…” he trailed off, only to find the boy looking directly at him with fiery in his eyes.

He knew that he should have stopped – but he couldn’t. He needed to break him. So, he didn’t let the twisted smile on his face disappear, as he spoke the dreaded act Jungkook had committed;

“…you’re the one who stabbed her to death.”

Tea time for @oh-who-knows (requested by @winglysimmer ). Prompt: worry

(sorry I didn’t do actor!au. It’s a big headcanon I don’t want to mess up :( I hope this is ok)

They’ve grown soft.

They’ve grown soft in all the ways that made them hard before. The etchings along their mouths; the doughyness on their tummies; the callouses on their hearts. But they’re soft now, faces cradled between tiny palms covered in things that would have made him cringe before. Placing kisses on cheeks covered in dirt or sauce or tears.

They’re soft now.

And the bleach, it burns. It stings his eyes and curdles his lungs and he’s breathing so hard as the tears dry against his skin, salty and sticky. Salty and sticky. He’s swimming in his head but it feels like it’s real, and he’s grown so soft. Why has he grown so soft?

She’s beautiful. He’s said the words “perfect” enough times into her golden hair that there are enough words to count every strand. And he’s said “I love you” enough times to fill an eternity but it would never be enough. It could never be enough.

He’s so soft now, but the bleach turns his hands pink like the dresses of her dolls, and he knows they will crack and peel in time. And his husband–so strong and so soft–would heal him. Kiss him. Not even respond when he questions what he did to deserve him. He doesn’t deserve him.

“Honey.” And the voice sounds like it. Sweet and delicious, and it’s the voice that turned him soft, and sometimes he hates. He fucking hates it. “Come to bed, please.” He begs. He begs.

“The tub…” He says. It’s a croak, a crack, a pang.

“It’s clean.” He settles down next to him, places his hand on his forearm. Firmly. Not soft.

“What if…”

“We have a long day tomorrow, love.“ His hand squeezes, but it’s gentle. “We need you rested.”

“But the tub.”

“Levi.”

He’s forgotten. He doesn’t seem like Levi anymore. Glitter and pop-tarts and ballet lessons. Car seats and Happy Meals. Little hands between his and Erwin’s, kicking up wet sand as they make footprints along the beach.

Family.

“She…” Levi drops the sponge from his hand. It makes a wet plop as it hits the porcelin. “She’s too young… She’s too young to be….”

“They’re professionals. They know what they’re doing.”

She’s adopted but when Levi turns his head to look at his husband, he sees the same gentle concern in his eyes that she gives to him… And he wonders who is rubbing off on who, and just how important blood is when it comes to relation…

And he’s grown so soft.

“She’s so beautiful…” Levi says quietly. It unravels like a ball of string, tumbles on the tile floors, sits at Erwin’s lap waiting to be wound back up again. “She’s ours…”

“And she always will be, darling. She’ll be healthier. Stronger.”

They’d grown so soft.

“But what if–” Levi reaches over the edge of the tub, grabs the sponge and leans over the ledge with sore knees embossed with checkerboards, and he scrubs. He scrubs and scrubs and Erwin pulls him back. Pulls him into his chest and wraps his arms around him.

Strong. Strong.

“She needs this.”

“Tell me.” He squeezes the sponge in his hand and it drains water across the front of both their shirts. It’ll stain; it’ll stain; it’ll stain. “Tell me.”

“Levi…”

Levi shudders, and the words rail out of him like marbles down a washboard. “We broke her!”

“She’ll be ok.”

He becomes soft, malleable like clay in Erwin’s lap, and he cries and cries until there’s nothing left but salty stone. And he’s a father. A father that bleeds and cries and would die if it brought happiness and health to her.

Moving on After Fred Weasley Passes Away - Headcanon/Would Include

Warnings: This broke my heart to write):

  • You wouldn’t cry much towards the beginning. Of course when the news hit a barricade of tears fell freely but after that, you learned how to bottle it all up. Everything was so unreal you weren’t even sure if it what was real anymore.
  • Fred was your best friend, your other half, the love of your life.
  • After the Battle of Hogwarts you’d travel back to the Burrow with the Weasley’s.
  • He was buried shortly after the Battle. His casket was a sleek black color and shined in the rain that fell. You placed a flower on the top of his casket and choked on a shaky sob. George stood behind you and his hand found it’s way into yours, giving you a squeeze of reassurance as he cried with you. You had never felt more lost in your life. Your fingers twiddled with the diamond band wrapped around your finger. It felt more like a piece of mockery, there to remind you everyday of what you could now never have.
  • Molly spent an entire week in the twins’ bedroom. She didn’t talk, hardly ate, just stared blankly at the wall next to Fred’s bed. He had pictures of his Hogwarts adventures taped to the wall and she had memorized every prospect of the photos so much she couldn’t rid the image from her brain when she closed her eyes, but she didn’t want to forget.
  • At the end of the week George entered his and Fred’s bedroom for the first time since the Battle. He spent an hour talking to his mother. You never did find out what he said, but you remember the burning visual of Molly exiting the room with reddened eyes full of heartbreak.
  • Ginny spent the nights sleeping in her room with you and cuddled against your chest, silently weeping to herself. Your presence made her feel close to her late brother, like he had never actually left.
  • George, Molly, and you would clean out Fred’s half of the room. It was full of tears and once happy now sad memories. Like the large maroon tie blanket you had made for Fred on your anniversary. Or the book on Magical Creatures that Fred had stolen on accident in Diagon Alley while he spied on you from behind a bookcase. You were shopping for all your school supplies and the redhead had torn from his family, catching glimpse of you in the robes shop and managed to follow you two stores later not wanting to leave you. You eventually caught him as he tripped over a pile of books, the binds of knowledge cascading to the floor with a crash. You smiled and helped him up while introducing yourself. The rest was history.
  • Arthur stood in the doorway of the room watching the three of you clean. Deep aging wrinkles indented his forehead making him appear older than he really was. His face was long, drowning in sorrow. He didn’t say a word, just watched.
  • Ginny cried alone in her room. Harry tried to comfort her but his success was no avail. She locked herself away for three days, lost in a sea of depression.
  • Ron turned to Harry and Hermione who welcomed him with open arms. He was the first to open up after his older brother’s death.
  • You stayed at the Burrow for a almost three weeks before flying to France. You choice was rash but you needed to get away. Molly understood and wished you well. You didn’t know how long you would be gone but you hoped it would give you some time to come to terms with the heartbreak you were experiencing.
  • Fred used to tell you when you were in school together that he always dreamed of going to France. He never knew why. He was rubbish at speaking French and had no idea how he’d survive, but it was a dream of his.
  • Percy, Bill, and Charlie all stayed at the Burrow for a month or so. Their hearts ached at the lose of their younger brother.
  • George… George no longer felt like himself. It was as if a part of himself was missing, torn from his soul. He dragged through the day’s, closing down the shop for a while. After spending two weeks at the Burrow he moved back to the apartment above Weasley Wizard Wheezes that Fred and him shared. The second he walked through the door he broke down. Tears splashed against his cheeks as he finally let all his emotions pour out. He called you, practically begging you to keep him company.
  • Of course you obliged and flew back home immediately. You lived with Fred in the apartment too. It was your home as well and you had been putting off going back to the apartment as much as possible. The home held so many items from your past involving Fred and you. Where he proposed to you, where you had you first blow up fight, where you had you first time together, where you had the million of talks about your future together, and so much more.
  • This made Molly feel a little better when she heard you would be staying with George for a while. She hated the thought of George being all along right after losing his best friend, his twin, his other half.
  • You left France still clutching a box full of Fred’s belonging. A heavy feeling invaded your heart. You took a train to London after landing then joined George at the shop.
  • The minute the door swung open George’s arms were thrown around your frame as he pulled you into a tight embrace. The barrier you had been working so hard to uphold, crumbled at his touch. Not because you felt you could finally let go of all the emotions being kept inside. No, you cried because George’s embrace reminded you of Fred’s. The way his hold tighten as you sobbed mirrored Fred’s actions identically. Your chest ached as you came to realize you future with Fred was gone. George’s salty tears splashed on the crown of your head.
  • The first week barely any words at all were exchanged. You would mumble a small ‘good morning’ to each other during breakfast but that was usually it.
  • George spent the days in his room and the nights at a bar across the street. This continued on for a week until you confronted him. You waited up all night, worried sick. He stumbled in around three in the morning, eyes brimming red, breath stenching strong from alcohol.
  • “George Weasley, what the hell?” You would screeched. His eyes snapped up at you resembling a deer caught in headlights. His gazed quickly fell to the floor as he shut the house door and brushed past you. You yelled after him making him halt in his path,
  • “George pease just talk to me! I know this is hard for you, believe me I do. He was your brother. You two have never been apart so I can’t even begin to imagine what you’re going through. George I’m here for you and you can talk to me because I lost him too. You did everything with Fred, you two started this business together and we both know he just wants you to be happy again. Please… just try, George. Try for me, try for Fred. Please. I just want to be here for you. If there’s something I did. If you hate me-” Your voice broke at the end and your knees gave up. Crashing to the floor a echoing cry invaded the air. George stood motionless watching you fall apart before his eyes. He could almost hear Fred scolding him and urging him to act. Fred would want George to comfort you, Fred would want you two to be there for each other.
  • George hesitantly crossed the room and bent to your level. His hand reached out, brushing a strand of messy hair from your face. Glancing up at him you started in to question him but George beat you around the bush. He seemed half sobered up and shook his head.
  • “Y/n… it’s not you, I swear. You’re the most purest human being in the entirety of the world, please don’t think that way. Every moment you and Fred were together I could never shake that from my mind, how perfect you are. But god Y/n every time I see you I think of my brother. He loved you more than anything in this world and I know he would hate me right now for not being there for you. I feel like I’ve let him down and that hurts more than anything. I see Fred everytime I look in the mirror, everytime I see the pictures on the fridge, everytime I walk into the shop, everytime I come home and everytime I see you.”
  • His words took you by storm but for once, it made sense. You had been sleeping in Fred and your bed, helping start the shop back up (mainly by yourself), and it probably didn’t help that you had been stealing items of Fred’s clothing, just wanting to be close to him again. For the first time since the Battle, you admitted the burden you’d been holding inside.
  • “I wish I could’ve saved him. If I wasn’t distracted by the helping that student- if I would have been paying more attention to Fred… he’d still be here.” You quivered. George’s eye soften and he shook his head.
  • “Y/n you know no one could’ve stopped what happen. I’ve spent every night laying awake wondering if I could’ve changed something. I’m not sure what god planned this, or if there even is one, but Y/n we had no control over this.” His arms locked around you pulling you against his chest. His lips planted against your forehead sweetly covering you in a blanket of comfort.
  • You spent the rest of the night in George’s arm. You shared memories of Fred, some sweet, some funny, and some that made you cry again.
  • “Remember the time the two of you enchanted endless snowballs to pelt, well technically, Voldemort in the face and Quill in the back of the head?” You giggled into the glass of cherry red wine you held to your lips. George leaned into the cushion of the couch and shook his head with a smile.
  • “Classic!”
  • George spent the night in Fred and your bed- to keep you company of course.
  • He kept you company for the rest of the nights to follow
  • The two of you began to drift into a weird zone
  • You had always lightly fancied George but it was Fred you loved.
  • He would randomly start bringing you home flowers and other small gifts
  • Some days George would come home to find a bundled up new sweater placed on his work desk. You always claimed the things you bought him were on sale so you just couldn’t resist but George knew better
  • A strong connection was growing and it confused you- George too. You wanted another shot at happiness but you weren’t sure if you were ready yet until another vacant Friday night rolled around and you found yourself laying on the couch in George’s arm talking about the week and before you knew it he was leaning forward.
  • The first time you kissed George you screwed your eyes shut tightly and imagined his lips as Fred’s. You knew it was horrible but you had no clue what else to do. It was like you were cheating on your fiance- your dead fiance, with his twin brother. But when you realized it was George, you didn’t entirely hate it. It was actually quite a fulfilling kiss. A part from inside of you warmed up for the first time in a long time.
  • George had a sickening vibe settling in the pit of his stomach after he pulled back. His heart sped up at the newfound affection the kiss brought although kissing you made him feel like he was betraying his brother. Fred planned to marry you for Merlin’s sake and there George was, making out with his dead twin’s girlfriend.
  • But you kissed him again the next day and he didn’t pull away
  • And the next
  • And the one after that too
  • Kissing you made George think of his brother. Fred loved you and George could understand why. Kissing you, sleeping beside you, comforting you, it all made George feel as if he was somehow growing closer to his twin.
  • At first your relationship with George was based solely on the fact that he was identical to your late lover but as time passed on George made you feel differently than Fred did. Despite you never thinking it was possible, George taught you how to laugh again. He would slowly crack back into his prankster self again. It took his almost a full year after Fred’s passing to invent a new product for the shop or even enter the store for more than passing to get to the apartment. He tested out the product on you during breakfast one morning. Pouring a lilac solution into the base of your black coffee and giving it a swirl, George carried on with breakfast as if nothing had happen. Dragging in, you hugged George from behind before taking a seat at the nook. You instantly sipped on the brewed mixture in front of you and spit it out in shock as the odd flavor set in.
  • George howled in laughed and bent over the kitchen stove pointing towards you. Furrowing your eyebrows you set the mug down and spoke up agitated,
  • “George what the hell did you put in- oh my god!”
  • You realized the change in tone quickly and covered your face in embarrassment. Your voice was as deep as a well making you sound similar to that of a male that had spent over half his life heavily smoking. George rushed over and planted a kiss to your cheek.
  • “It worked!” Although you were thoroughly ticked off at his choice of targeting you, you were happy he was back to his old ways. The bills were piling up by the second and the landlord wanted the shop either back up and running, or both of you to move out. Dumping your infected cup of coffee down the sink drain you started to make a new batch. Smiling to yourself you laughed softly,
  • “Well, I’m glad to have you back, George.”
  • That was only the beginning. George and you spent almost every moment inventing and creating new sale items. The first handful were absolute rubbish but it didn’t matter. Both of you were trying to get back in the swing of things and sometimes that took a while.
  • Within three months Weasley Wizard Wheezes was back up and running again.
  • Sales flooded in and shot straight through the roof steadily for a long term.
  • As a ‘thank you’ present for helping him get back on his feet George invited you out for a fancy meal out on the town.
  • You decided on a Muggle restaurant and dressed to the nines. George’s jaw skimmed the floor when you walked out of your room and slipped on your heels. He held your hand and escorted you out.
  • During dinner you had ntoiced how fidgety and nervous George was acting. You made the choice to question him on it over a glass of champagne right before the main course and he physically stiffened. Tilting his glass back, George chugged down the large intake and wiped his lips on the red amber napkin. His hands clasped together then unclasped at his side. His soft eyes found yours and he darted them back down to the tablecloth.
  • “It’s just- well, Y/n… what are we?”
  • It would get silent very fast and he would instantly fill it.
  • “What I mean is, I like you… I like you a lot but I know how you felt about my brother. I saw the glint in your eyes that would sparkle whenever you saw him and how happy you two were together and Y/n I want to be able to make you as happy as Fred did. With that being said I don’t want you to be with me because I remind you of him or because you can’t stop thinking about Fred. I’m not gonna lie at the start of our, uh, relationship I was hanging out with you because you made me think of Fred but all those late nights and million cups of coffee have made me realize the truth. I love you Y/n- and not because you dated my brother. I love you for you and I think I have for a very long time. What I’m asking is… Y/n would you um, like to be my girlfriend?”
  • You cried, a lot. George’s heart broke at the sight only confirming the love swelling in his heart. His feelings were genuine and it warmed your soul. You lunged across the table knocking over the bread bowl in the process and threw your arms around George’s frame.
  • “Of course I will! Oh my god, George. You’re making me cry like a bloody fool!”
  • George called his mother the second you got home. Molly was hit with a wave of shock at first. She gave both of you long speeches trying to inspect if the love was real or a mask to feign the hurt of bonding over the lose of Fred. She demanded both of you come home to the Burrow for the week so you did and the moment she looked into both of your eyes, it was clear as crystal.
  • “Good lord you are in love!”
  • It was hard for the rest of the Weasley family to accept at first. You understood completely since you had the same weary, unsure feeling as well but eventually they came to accept it. They were all happy to you and George happy once again.
  • But as happy as you were, small memories with Fred would constantly pop up.
  • Like one night when George and you were lying in bed together whispering softly realization would settle in and you’d comment,
  • “This is where he proposed. We were lying right here when Fred asked me to marry him.”
  • You knew how horrid it was to put this on George but you had no control. George thought about this all the time and was reminded of your relationship with his brother at every corner he turned.
  • You would then apologize feeling god awful for saying such a thing but George would hush you saying,
  • “It’s alright Y/n. Just because he’s not around anymore and because we’re together now doesn’t mean we have to pretend he was never alive or your relationship with him didn’t exist. He loved you, and I know how much you love him. I’m not upset- actually I’m more than thankful my brother managed to snag a girl like you. You two were perfect together and he will always love you just like how you will always love him. Fred… he is… was my brother and for a long time I thought he would hate me for me being with you and for a long time I thought my heart tricked me into loving you. That maybe it wasn’t love I was feeling but rather so the relationship my brother and I had and maybe because he loved you so much, being with you would make me feel less lonely about losing him but I know the truth. I love you, Y/n. Hell, maybe I always have but the important thing is I love you now and I will love you tomorrow and I will continue to love you years from now and that’s not because of Fred, it’s because of you and who you are. I love you.”
  • You two learned how to live your life no longer feeling guilty for the love you shared. Fred smiled down his heart warming at seeing his two favorite people in the world relying on each other and sharing a piece of their heart together.
  • He proposed to you in the middle of a busy work day right as you were restocking a shelf. The rest of his family were there to see. Molly, Hermione and Ginny cried a river while the boys patted George on the back. On your wedding day the tears were never ending, though happy ones.
  • You two eventually moved to London- kept the shop but decided you needed more room, well of course your growing stomach demanded that. One cold night in the middle of December George and you were blessed with the birth of your first son, Fred ll. He had a head of wicked red hair and a small mischievous smile toying on his face and you had never felt more complete in your life. George planted a kiss to your head muttering a string of ‘thank yous’. You knew in your heart this was exactly where you were meant to be.

Today had been one of the worst days of your life.

It had started out just like any other day, you walked to school beside your boyfriend of two years, Peter Parker. The two of you always walked to school every morning, seeing as you lived in apartments that were close together. It was almost like a tradition for the two of you; meeting at the corner of the two of your building, before walking the fifteen minutes it took to get to school.

Once the two of you had arrived at school, everything went downhill, fast.

The moment you stepped into your first period class, your stomach had turned sideways, feeling as though your guts were turning themselves inside out. It felt as though something bad was going to happen as soon as you sat in your desk.

And something bad was happening, indeed.

Sitting in the cold, wooden desk aside Peter, you lowered your arm so that you could grab ahold of your bag. Pulling out a pencil, you straightened your back and relaxed into the seat. Raising your eyes, you noticed your teacher standing at the front of the room, a stack of paper in his hands.

    Pop quiz.

An hour later, there were tears in your eyes, as you knew that you had down awful on the quiz. With the grade that you already had, this quiz would have decided your grade for the next few weeks.

And that was not the end of the story.

By the end of the school day, you had taken three tests, been bullied by the most popular girls in school, and tripped into the mud outside the school’s front doors on the way home. Now, you stood in front of Peter’s apartment, tears in your eyes. The cold, salty tears stung your dulled eyes as you knocked on his front door. Peter opened a few moments later, his body wrapped in a sweatshirt and a pair of jeans. His wide eyes scanned your shivering frame before he was immediately grabbing you by your waist. He pulled you into his chest, strong arms wrapping around your hips. You inhaled his familiar scent as he pulled you closer to his chest, something that seemed almost impossible. The teen in front of you seemed sympathetic, his eyes filled with sadness and his heart filled with hurt.

If Peter was being honest, when he saw the tears in your eyes, he was filled with a sudden rage. He wanted to find whoever had done this to you and use his newfound powers to show them that they should never hurt you. The teenage, human spider hated that you were in pain, even if it were not physical.

Peter pulled you out of the rain, his grip never leaving your body. He pulled you into his apartment with strong hands guiding you to his room. He ducked past his Aunt May, trying to avoid her pestering questions, wanting nothing more than to get you warm and happy.

When he reached his room, he grabbed a pair of his old sweats and a large shirt of his. He handed them to you, not uttering a word before gently pushing on the small of your back. He pushed you towards his bathroom, letting you get changed out of your wet clothes and into his fresh, warm ones. While you changed, Peter moved across his room, turning on his television screen. He let the vibrant screen play quietly in the background of his room for a few moments before he grabbed a movie beside the television. He pushed it into the slot of the screen before moving back to his bedside, moving the blankets and bunching them up in order to make part of a fort.

When you exited Peter’s bathroom, you were surprised to see what he had done. Your eyes scanned the small room and laid them upon Peter’s figure; he was sorting the blankets and pushing pillows to the side of his bed so that there would be room for the two of you.

Making a sound from the back of your throat, you alerted Peter of your presence. The teen turned his attention in your direction, his eyes immediately falling upon your frame. His chocolate brown eyes took in your broken stature; scrubby, red eyes, sunken-in frame, and wet, knotted hair.

“Oh, baby,” Peter spoke sadly, moving the distance to take you back into his arms. He let your forehead fall against his broad chest, new tears soaking his sweatshirt. Peter rubbed small circles into your back, his head laying atop of yours, breathing in your scent. He let you cry for a few more minutes before he pulled you towards his bed. He layed you down in front of him, letting him lay behind you. He wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you back into him. The position felt natural, as if he were meant to lay beside you.

For the next hour or so, you and Peter cuddled into each other and watched movies, letting you get more comfortable.

While you were focused on the movie, you did not see Peter watching you. You did not notice Peter’s eyes as he scanned your face with adoration in his eyes. He watched your eyes as they crinkled when you laughed, and the way that your lips curled at the end when you smiled. His eyes shined and reflected immense happiness when you smiled, grinning happily when you did. His eyes roamed every inch of your face, from the scars and lines. He knew that you did not like the scars and acne marks on your face. You claimed that they were ugly; that they made you look different and not perfect.

    But Peter thought differently.

He thought the marks made you beautiful. He thought they made you look strong; as if you had survived through hell and much more. Peter thought that scars were not a sign of imperfection; they were a sign of strength and beauty. He loved the scars on your body, even if you did not.

Lifting his hand, he let the tip of his index finger trail along the scar behind your ear, dropping it to follow the short line to its end. He moved his hand again, towards another one of your scars. It was one caused by acne, a scar that you hated because it was on your face, right underneath your cheekbone.

When you felt the tip of his finger trail across his face, you turned, watching Peter as he stared at your face. His chocolate brown orbs gazed into your eyes, taking in every feature of your face with complete and utter awe. His lips twisted into a smile as he watched you take in his features as he did to you.

With one final look, Peter lowered his lips until they were inches away from yours, “You are so gorgeous, love.”

You shook your head with a blush, before you leaned up to connect your lips to his. Peter responded almost immediately, his lips moving against yours. He tilted his head so that his lips could slot against yours in a smoother fashion. You groaned against his lips, moving your lips faster so that you could keep up with him. Peter moved, his back muscles shifting as he let you fall back against his bed sheets. You sighed happily, complete euphoria and love rushing over your body.

    This was Peter Parker.

The man you had loved since the day you met him.

The man you would love for the rest of your life.

You moved, your back lying flat against the sheets of Peter’s bed. Your hands clutched the sides of Peter’s face, one pulling itself through his hair with a groan. Peter smiled against your lips, his contagious personality rubbing off, causing you to smile as well.

“God, I love you,” Peter groans. His hips roll into yours for a short moment, eliciting a moan from your mouth. He continues to roll his lips into yours, sighs of happiness and love coming from both your mouths.

To anyone other person, the scene may have looked like two people wrapped up in lust and euphoria.

However, that was not what was happening.

    No, this was different.

This was something bigger; something pure and beautiful. Something that no one could have predicted, a motion that most people would never achieve in their entire lives. This was something that made the stormy days brighter, and the bad days just a little bit happier. It was the sort of thing that made your stomach flutter with excitement and your heart beat just a little bit faster. It made your eyes shine brighter and your steps feel lighter. This thing made you happy, sad, and excited all at the same time; the simple mention of it made you nervous and happy all at once.

    It was love.

This love was the feeling in your stomach when Peter mumbled how much he loved you; it was the feeling of Peter’s lips against yours. Love was the ache in your gut as Peter’s hips rolled against yours.

And most of all, it was what you felt for Peter; and similarly, it was what he felt for you.
