I can’t imagine my life without her. Having me at the age of 13 years old and raising me as a single parent, she has taught me so many life lessons and values, she’s truly my bestfriend. -Something that makes me beautiful would be that I am a very understanding person, I’m compassionate and caring and the least bit judgmental. -Beauty isn’t about having a perfect body or a perfect face, beauty comes from who you are, not what you are. -Once you learn how to be happy, you won’t tolerate being around people who make you feel anything less.

My name is Jessi, and I’m 23 years young. Somewhat of a military brat, I’ve lived many different places growing up. Currently in Alabama working my way back to my hometown of Dallas, TX. As far as “talents” I like to consider myself somewhat of a media nut. I’ve consumed much of my life with editing pictures and videos. My new passion is babies and motherhood. Although I have no children, I am training to become a doula then a midwife.

I love, love, love music and the many genres that it encompasses. I can listen to anything from American folk to underground hip hop on any given day.

In 5 years, I see myself, hopefully, having a successful career and doing what I love most. I hope to change the minds of women by educating them about their body and the many options and choices they have for themselves and their children. Why not love what you’ve been given?!

I believe my inner beauty is the ability to see past the outer appearances of people. I would rather base my opinion of you by your actions and words than what you wear or how you look at first glance. Color/race/ethnicity means nothing to me. I celebrate every person regardless of where they are from.

I look up to my mother most because she is one of the strongest women I know. She raised 3 smart kids with the mindset that we could all move mountains and encouraged us to love everyone no matter their background. I hope to be half the woman she is.

Encouragement is key! Love yourself no matter the flaws. It’s taken me years to love me, but I do now and celebrate my body. The more open your mind and heart are, the more accepting and loving you are towards yourself. Smile! Embrace the life you have been given!

Quote: 34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:34 in the Bible. I was once so anxious and worried about everything because of my lack of self esteem. This quote helped me get through some tough times in my life and I’ve embraced it ever since.
