84. “Come on, baby, up to bed.”
It had been a long day for the both of you, traveling all day. You had taken the week off to travel with Harry for Dunkirk promo and it was late at night when you finally wheeled your suitcases back in your home. Neither of you unpacked, too exhausted, but you did switch to more comfy clothing and then headed downstairs to make tea.
Harry followed you soon after as you were pouring a cup for each of you, twining his arms around your waist. You smiled to yourself and leaned back into him. “Hello.” You murmured.
“Hi.” He kissed the place just behind your ear, sending a shiver down your spine, “Did you enjoy our little trip?”
“I always love traveling with you.”
He spun you in his arms until he was looking at you, gently pushing a hair behind your ear, “I’m glad you tagged along. It’s a lot less lonely when you’re around.”
You didn’t answer him, just leaned your forehead against his and closed your eyes for a moment.
“Wanna watch a movie?” He murmured after a few moments.
You sighed, “Too tired.”
“Just until we fall asleep. Until we finish our tea, yeah?”
Too exhausted to disagree, you nodded and turned back to the tea behind you. So you and Harry headed to the sofa, cups of tea in hand. You’re not sure when you fell asleep, but you were roused by Harry sliding his hands beneath you, “Come on, baby, up to bed.” He whispered before lifting you, cradling you to his chest.
A soft moan emitted from your throat as you buried your head against him. Once back upstairs, he lowered you into bed, pulling the blankets up around you before slipping under himself.
“Harry.” You mumbled when he didn’t wrap his arms around you after settling into bed.
“Yes, love?” You could hear the exhaustion in his voice as well so you turned to him instead, wrapping your arms around his waist. Answering by pressing kisses to his bare back until you felt the rumble of moan come from him. He twisted in his arms to face you, “Thought you were too tired.” He smirked, the ghost of mischief dancing in those eyes as he slanted his mouth to yours, fingers lightly gripping your chin.
You melted at his kiss, melding your body to his as his mouth moved slowly against yours, so slowly you had time to really consider the taste of him, notice how soft his lips were.
“I am,” You said finally, “Too tired.” You clarified. But you continued kissing him, your toes curling with every stroke of his tongue.
“I don’t want sex.” He murmured between kisses, “Just want you like this for a bit longer.” He sighed in pure bliss into your mouth.
And so you kept kissing him, kept moving closer to him, breathy moans coming from both of you. Finally, you pulled away from him, exhaustion threatening to pull you under.
You blinked at him a few times, noticing his now red and swollen lips, the dazed look on his face, the way his lips quirked just a little as he looked at you.
“I love you.” You said finally, frowning because for a minute you weren’t sure if he knew that. And it was very important to you that he knew, in this moment, how desperately in love with him you were.
His smile widened as he curled a piece of your hair around his finger before pulling you on top of him and wrapping his arms fiercely around you, “I love you too.” He said and kissed your hair.
You yawned and nestled under his chin. The last thing you remembered before falling asleep was murmuring, “Thank you for another adventure. I’ll never forget this.”
And you wouldn’t. You’d never forget a single moment by his side because each moment was always more exciting than the last. That’s what a life with Harry entailed. And you were constantly grateful that he wanted you along for the ride.
