bec goes book-seeing skoob books, london england

of course the first store i walk into in london is a bookstore. wandering the outskirts of my hostel, i was searching for somewhere to get a cheap and quick bite of food when i came across this gem. of course i had to walk in and holy shit. this is what a second hand book store is supposed to be like. the ones in sydney have got nothing on this. the prices were so affordable: like £4 for most of the books i looked at, i don’t know what that’s like in uk standards but coming from australia, that’s a great price.

it felt wonderful to wander through the maze of aisles, examining old and new books alike. their ya section left a little to be desired but their scifi/fantasy section made up for it in spades. i’ll definitely have to go past again before i leave and purchase something.
