taylor swift nominations

Remember when Taylor wrote the song “Mean” about a critic that said she couldn’t sing? That song went on to win not one, but two Grammy’s. Now the song “Blank Space,” which was written as a parody of the way the media portrayed her for multiple years, is nominated for three Grammy’s. Taylor always copes with her feelings through her music, and her hard work and passion is getting the recognition it deserves. Taylor is coming out on top after being constantly and unfairly put down. Karma is a funny and wonderful thing, isn’t it?

Remember What Happened The Last Time Taylor Swift Performed At The Grammys?

Taylor Swift is nominated for seven Grammys, including Album of the Year for “1989,” and on Sunday it was announced that she’ll return to the stage for a performance at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards.

While it’s still unclear what song Swift intends to perform (“Blank Space” and “Bad Blood” are up for awards, while she recently released the video for “Out of the Woods”) it’s important to remember what happened the last time Swift performed at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards.

Remember now (👆👆👆)? Of course you do.

Watch Swift’s gut-wrenching performance of “All Too Well,” and let us hope we can expect greatness this time around, as well:

The 58th Annual Grammy Awards will air live on Feb. 15 on CBS at 8 p.m. EST.

I love both Nicki and Taylor but...

Is anyone actually looking at the nominations list for video of the year? Nicki said she was talking about a video that “celebrates women with very slim bodies”. The nominations consist of 3 men and 2 women. And Taylor Swift is thin, whereas Beyonce is not. She was very obviously talking about Taylor but then she says “didn’t say a word about you”. Then she tries to turn it around saying its about Black women in the industry not getting recognized. How many nominations do you have? Beyonce is also nominated for the award you’re referring to so your point is invalid. I fully support women of any color, but I’m not seeing any real issue. I think Blacks and women were accurately represented in the nominations considering 3/5 of the nominations included a Black person, 1 was a person of color other than Black, and 2 were women. Please show me where the issue is. I’m honestly trying to understand, but I’m not seeing it.
