Boba Maps - Bay Area

Just as I thought I was getting the hang of making boba maps, a fellow bobaholic from the Bay shares this EPIC Bay Area boba map he made as a bucket list. With over 295 boba cafes on the map, I’d say it can be a solid boba bucket list for anyone. Like/reblog if you agree, and check some of those out if you’re in the area!

My friend brought me to Plentea in SF to try their tapioca milk tea! It’s cute they are served in these thick glass bottles that you can take home! Apparently if you bring your bottle back next time they will give you a discount~!

I got matcha green milk tea and it was quite delicious~!!

Tea Lyfe – Strawberry Horchata with Boba

(Location: San Jose, CA)

San Jose went on a boba explosion this year with a new boba place popping up almost weekly (that’s an exaggeration). Tea Lyfe is one of the shops that stood out from the crowd, and their concept is very similar to that of Boba Guys in SF. The Horchata Boba is their signature drink, and it wasn’t actually as great as I’d hoped it would be. The horchata doesn’t carry as strong of a flavor as other places that do the horchata boba, and was a bit watered down. However, the boba is cooked very well, and overall, the drink doesn’t disappoint.
