Just Remember

Alright, so, this is probably going to be my last Fic post in THIS blog, it will still be active, it will still post Voltron stuff, I just start posting the fics from my WRITER Blog, so everything is orginized and stuff :D

Anyways, I was having a shitty morning with myself so, I wanted to scream but I couldn’t bc I was in traffic and like, so many people around so I did the best thing: I wrote.

Langst but also happy langst. Even Lance have these moments guys, they are valid and okay.

Ps. Hope it’s not too hard or stressful to read?

Disclaimer: Voltron dosen’t belong to me.

Shiro’s disappointed glare.

Lance punches the bag.

Pidge’s annoyed roll of eyes.

Another punch followed by a kick.

Keith’s exasperated scoff.

Kick, punch, shout.

Hunk’s exhausted sigh.

Punch, kick, punch, tears.

Coran’s shake of head.

Tears, punch, shout.

Allura’s skeptical frown.

Screams.

Lance screams and shouts and curses. He lets it all out. He lets his words and shouts echo around as he falls to his knees in the middle of the training room. He hiccups as sobs shake his body. He doesn’t bother to wipe away his tears, he lets them fall to the ground and stain the mat below him.

He curses loudly and lividly for every part of him that makes him feel unworthy. He weakly punches the mat as he whimpers and his shoulders lose their strength.

Shiro’s disappointed glare turns into a concern one once he catches Lance’s weak whimpers as he cradles his own hand to his chest.

Frowning in worry, Shiro steps into the training room and takes a seat besides the brunet as Lance tries to hide his injured wrist.

“Lance, buddy, there’s no need to push yourself, I told you.” He reprimands gently, giving him a look when the brunet doesn’t allow him to get a better look of his wrist, “This training is new, you don’t need to be an expert the very same day you learn it.”

Lance sighs as he lets Shiro takes his wrist into his hands and the older teen inspects it carefully. and just hums dryly as an answer.

“Buddy, you’re already our sharpshooter, it’s okay to take your own pace as you learn to improve yourself.” Shiro says quietly after a few minutes in silence as he wraps Lance’s wrist in a white bandage, “You are getting used to the new form of your bayard, these things take time.”

“I know.” Lance answers softly, a small frown on his face, “But I feel like I’m letting you all down if I don’t learn to use it fast enough. What if we are in the battle field and because I still don’t know how to use or if I shot someone innocent or worse, one of you guys, by accident and -”

“Lance.” Shiro cuts off, not unkindly, “You’re our sharpshooter. The entire team and I have full faith in you.” He offers a proud smile at the brunet, “You would never miss a shot.”

Lance takes a deep breath as he let go of his abused lower lip. He sighs, wiping the thin line of blood coming from the corner of his mouth as he raises his head.

“It’s all in your mind.” Lance tells himself, placing a hand over his eyes to block out the light. “It’s all in your mind, it’s all in your mind. It’s okay. It’s valid. Just remember.”

The brunet takes a deep breath. “Just remember.”

He stays in silence for a little longer.

Pidge’s roll her eyes annoyed as Lance cheers in victory when the screen in the break room flashes the words of ‘Victory For Azul’ in big gold letters.

“Yeah, ok, you win this round, Mister.” Pidge says, shoving him by the arm, smirking when the brunet’s laughs, “I will win the next round, for sure.”

Lance chuckles as he raises his hand and ruffles Pidge’s wild bed hair. “We have been playing this game for like two hours, Pidge, aren’t you tired of me already?”

Pidge scoffs as if the mere question offended her. “Pick up your controller, Mr. Spanish; I’m kicking your ass.” She declares as she presses a few buttons and the screen shows the announcement of Round 4.

Pidge wins until Round 10.

Lance’s mouth twitches as his brain keeps filling him with the missing scenes with his team.

Inhale. Hold. Exhale.

He falls back on the mat and lays down, closing his eyes as he repeats his breathing exercise.

“You’re okay.” He breathes out softly, “You’re okay, you’re okay, you’re okay.”

Keith scoffs exasperated as he watches his boyfriend hog the entire blanket in their bed.

“Lance, no.” He whines, stomping his foot against the floor, “Stop hogging the blanket every time I go take a shower.”

“Nop.” Lance replies from the bottom of the mountain of blankets, “You’re the one who wants to train so late, bear the consequences, buddy.”

“Babe!” The black haired man shouts annoyed and Lance suppresses his snickers as Keith’s pouts.

“Nope.” He repeats gleefully before yelping in surprise when a body slams itself from above, successfully crushing him, “Keith!”

Keith laughs playfully as he lays above Lance comfortably on his stomach, meeting Lance’s bright blue eyes easily even in the darkness around them, “Hi there.”

Lance snorts before he smiles. “Hello, hello.” He answers softly, reaching towards his boyfriend and Keith quickly meets him halfway.

“You’re comfy.” Keith confesses quietly against his lips and Lance laughs.

“Oh, hush.” He says as he smiles and nuzzles his face against Keith lovingly.

Lance hums quietly under his breath as his breathing goes back to normal after a few minutes.

He taps the surface of the mat he’s lying in with the tip of his fingers, following the rhythm of the song he’s humming.

Hunk sighs exhausted as he takes in the sight of his best friend covered in food goo.

“Lance, buddy, what’cha doin’?” He asks, fighting back the grin that threatens to appear as the brunet blinks surprised.

“Uh…” He starts, voice trailing unsure, “The mice made me do it?”

Said group of mice squeak at the accusation before Hunk accepts his losing battle as he laughs.

“Let me guess?” Hunks say and Lance nods, waving his hand as permission, “You tried to make my goo cookies?”

A pause.

“No…?” Lance answers, smiling innocently as some goo falls from his hair and Hunk shakes his head.

“Dude, if you wanted some you could have just ask me.” He says, stepping into the kitchen and wiping some of the goo from his friend’s hair and then grabs a clean cloth from the counter.

Lance pouts as he accepts the cloth and wipes his face. “I didn’t want to bother you.” He confesses softly.

Hunk snort amusedly. “Buddy, baking, food and you will never be a bother for me.” He reassures, smiling big and bright at the sheepish brunet, “Now, come on! Let’s do some baking!”

“I heard baking!” Shiro’s shout echoes around them as the leader of Voltron slides into the kitchen with a bright smile, “I call dibs on Lance’s biscuits.”

“No, no, those are mine, Shiro!” Come Keith’s shout as the younger brother jumps on Shiro’s back to fight him.

Lance and Hunk start baking, ignoring the wrestling brothers on the floor.

The brunet takes his training gloves as he sighs calmly when the door of the training room opens and closes and steps makes their way towards him.

He doesn’t need to open his eyes to acknowledge the warm body lying beside him.

He takes Keith’s hand into his own in silence.

Coran shakes his head and Lance’s face fall.

“Hey, come on, now.” Coran says as soon as he notices the brunet’s sad eyes, “You are doing great, Lance! You got 9 out of 12 correct!” He praises, smiling big and proud at the brunet sitting in front of him.

Lance pouts. “Well yeah, but still, I’m still nowhere good. I can barely understand it! I will be a miracle if I’m ever able to speak it with you guys.”

Coran’s face softens at the words. “Oh, Lance, the mere fact you want to learn Altean is enough. Allura and I are so grateful that you are giving us this small time of normality that allows us to remember our roots.”

He leans forward to ruffle Lance’s head. “You’re doing great, mikró ílio.”

Lance blinks before he beams. “Little sun.” He translates softly and Coran smiles back just as brightly, pride clear in his eyes.

He doesn’t know how long they have been lying there, but at some point, Lance’s humming had stopped but Keith’s voice had filled in the silence, singing softly and quietly under his breath,

Lance allows himself to smile.

Allura’s skeptical frown turns into a confused one as Lance points at the corner of the screen.

“Okay, I understand your point, but wouldn’t it be easier to create a distraction and then just take the quintessence?” She asks and Lance taps his chin in deep thought.

“Well,” He starts, “It’s an option, but remember that the quintessence is something real valuable to the Galra, specially to Lotor now that Zarkon is out of commission. Their guards have been doubled since out last attack.”

Tapping twice into the screen, the video of their last mission appears. “See? The room is filled with druids plus some Galra Soldiers and the occasional Supervisor making rounds. A direct attack would only put them in higher alert even when some of us are sneaking in.”

“So sneaking in from the start is the best option.” Allura muses and Lance shrugs.

“It’s our best shot.” Lance declares, smiling when Allura nods her head at him and smiles.

“Well, you’re our sharpshooter, there’s no way we’re missing this.”

“Thank you, amor.” Lance says softly, turning his head to meet Keith’s face and his heart flutters when Keith’s blue eyes meet his own.

Keith stops his singing to smile gently at his boyfriend, “You okay?” He asks quietly, reaching out to brush Lance’s bangs away from his face and his eyes turn tender when the brunet nuzzles his face against his hand.

“Nah, my mind is still being a bitch.” Lance confesses, turning slightly to drop a small kiss against Keith’s palm, “But you being here kicks its ass, so I will be.”

“And I will be here.” Keith says, leaning forward to drop his own his against the brunet’s forehead.

“Thank you, amor.”

SNK Guidebook Scans: Hange Zoe

See those little blurry words on the left side of Hange’s spider web of abilities?

It says “Intelligence”, and it goes to eleven.

I’m happy to announce that our beloved Hange Zoe has the highest intelligent score of any character in the Shingeki world. Erwin and Armin only scored 10’s.

(Once again, thank you, Julystorms, for destroying your book in order to provide scans of all the Guidebook pages!)

Stumbled upon this game/app

You raise and train your own digimon
I’ve been at it for 30 minutes(lost track of time playing it)

And??? It’s pretty fun for a non official digimon app, has its flaws but worth it for killing time

Game loads up and you get to pick which baby digimon to start raising
Swipe till you pick between Botamon, Punimon, Poyomon, Pabumon, or Yuramon
(Don’t worry though!! You get 4 save files to raise them all!)
Once you select a baby you get their egg, tap on it till it hatches!
Soon as that happens you get a Miccrosoft sam Voice reading you the how-to play
To my knowledge these rules only pop up the once, so I screencapped them to read through later.

After that you can feed them, clean up after their poop, and play with your baby!
It comes with two games, Digimon Dash, and battle mode.
Digimon dash is your typical tap to jump across obstacles games
Battle mode is battle mode
There’s online battle and regular
My Yuramon was a newborn so I didn’t wanna hurt the little one so I did regular battle mode. To initiate battle mode you have to shake your screen and it will find a wild digimon, tap the screen when indicated and you can power up your attacks, tap your digimon to dodge the incoming attacks from the enemy
And keep going until you level up to evolve!!! You can only evole mid battle, but I’m not sure if you stay at the new level or if you power down afterwards.

It plays very solidly, this feels absolutely like it could be official enough, hell it’s THE most fun and accurate phone vpet simulator because it features actual Digimon.
My biggest gripe and complaints are that the adds tend to pop up randomly and everywhere a LOOOTT, no joke every other tap to click something and an add shows up
They’re easy to exit out of, no video apps, but still.
And the only other complaint I have is that it’s way too quiet. There is 0 sound except for the biips when selecting items. I understand sound is copyrighted and all that, but if they’re using characters and a series that already aren’t there why not toss in music??? At least during digimon dash and battle mode.

Anyway, it’s pretty fun, I just hit level 4 and I wanna see what evo i can get (there’s even bad evolution lines in this game!!!!!!)
7/10 recommend if you really like the raising a vpet digimon aspect and Care for that more than it being a game app
4/10 recommend if you’re looking for more of a game than the other side

Topi’s Daily Card #992:  Adriana, Captain of the Guard

Yet another RW commander with a focus on combat.  To me she’s a little unexciting, but she does have a lot of power behind her.  A five mana 4/4 is a little misleading, because attacking by herself makes her a 5/5, and if you spread he love around, she’ll be a 7/7 in a traditional 4 player EDH game.  Giving everything else melee gives you a pseudo anthem for every combat, making a token strategy pretty potent for her.  Keep in mind putting things into play tapped and attacking doesn’t trigger melee for the creature that just came in, meaning their power and toughness will be unchanged.  I see her more as a support card in a deck more focused on wide token attacks, perhaps a Naya deck with Rith at the helm.  After all, when you’re attacking everyone, it’s essentially an Overrun just without the trample.  I’d love to see melee more often in EDH.  It’s got a lot of power that I’m sure people will easily underestimate, even if they think they’ve done the math.  Lowly saprolings or soldiers suddenly turning into an army of 4/4s is pretty awesome, after all.

Miss V // 3 - Joker Imagine

// Part 1 // Part 2 //

Sorry, I’m a dipshit for taking this long.

_______________________________________________________________________

I rolled over in the extremely large bed that sat in the corner of Bruce’s room just under the window sill that illuminated the white satin sheets, making it seem that I was in a movie where the girl wakes up flawless and untouched by the havoc we call sleep. Instead I sat up with hair in my mouth and makeup smeared in the corner of my eyes, yes I was an absolute mess.

“Jesus.” I mumble into my hands as I rub my eyes a headache starting to creep into my head from my temples.

“No my names Bruce, I thought you would know that by now?” Bruce says smart allectly. All I do is roll my eyes and search for the pill bottle I so desperately desire. “Is someone grumpy this morning?” He wiggles his eyebrows as he passes me the pill bottle. He is in an unusual good mood.

“Yes, Im grumpy and yes I will bite.” I snap opening the bottle and downing three pills, sighing afterwards.

“Well I need to head out, my company isn’t going to run its self, see you at dinner tonight.” He says stoking your cheek and kissing your forehead tonight.

Dinner? What dinner? Then it hits you, his big company gala was tonight and you were his date for tonight. How could you be so stupid. You groan and slump back into the bed, where you find yourself thinking about the green haired man, who enticed you so much.

Springing out of bed you went to take a shower, riding your body of any traces from last night. Once you were done you wrapped yourself in a towel and grabbed your black body con dress. You slipped on the expensive clothes after throwing you hair in a less than perfect messy bun and applied your makeup, your eyeliner being just as sharp as your new knives.

You grabbed your silver gun and thigh pocket knives and walked out the door towards your car. It wasn’t extravagant like Bruce’s or Joker’s, just something to  get you point A to point B. You decided last night you would be taking the week off from work, to have some “personal” days, when in reality you had some work to take care of.

Pulling out of the driveway you headed off towards an old club you used to do business at, parking a couple blocks away you grabbed your purse and started your walk. Feeling a presence behind you, you held your head high while grabbing a knife and tucking it into your sleeve waiting for your moment to attack.

A tap on your shoulder sends you into a frenzy of chaos. Swinging around and plugging the knife into the “attackers” arm you hear a slight yelp as you throw them to the pavement. You straddle them and hold a knife to their throat. “Can I help you?” You ask turning your head sideways with a creepy smile forming your face.

“T-The Joker sends a message.” He stumbles obviously trembling with fear. You swing your hand in a go on motion. “He says to wear red, so the blood tonight won’t show too much on your dress.” He says holding his hands in the air as you press harder into his skin.

“Is Mister J making a grand appearance tonight at the wayne gala?” You question in a sing song voice.

“Yes Ma’am.” He says shaking even more now.

“Good.” You hiss as you slice his throat, leaving him lifeless in a dark alley. “Such a shame I just got a manicure and I chipped my nail on a dirt bad like you.” You spat wiping your hands off and continuing towards the club.

You give the simple password to the big goon hiding behind the door and you are escorted to a back room where the man of the hour seems to be hiding.

“Jasper baby, did you miss me?” You seethe through smiling teeth as you make your grand entrance.

“Oh darling, where have you been?” He asks grabbing your waist pulling you into a hug.

“Ive been living a different life for a while.” You state straightening out your dress and turning your attention back to Jasper.

“And?”

“I hate it. Im coming back into the game.” You say in a demanding tone.

“Well who says we want you back?” He challenges circling you like a hawk waiting to devour his prey.

“You’re kidding right.” You smirk giving him a chance to back down before he ends up like the man on the road only minutes ago.

“Of course I am love. Its good to have you back, Im assuming you need your old set up again?” He quirks, raising a brow. You give him a simple nod as he gives you some papers as he sets up some calls.

“Welcome back Miss V.” A smirk spreads across both of your faces.

This is going to be so……delightful.

This is just a filler, sorry its crappy….Im sleep deprived. Let me know lovelies if you want more.

Summarized Patch Notes

I will link to the full patch notes on another post, but here are the basics that were talked about in the live stream.

They’re changing the matchmaking. To summarize, your overall skill level comes first, and you overall reputation level comes second.

“If you play a lot but suck at the game you will be paired against people that also play a lot and suck”

Deadzone Tweaking Slider

You can now make your controller’s stick faster, but I would recommend on tweaking this personally. Don’t just slam the slider to max.

Soft Feints are Removed

Soft Feints are when you cancel out of a light attack or guard break into another attack quickly. This is a bug and not a feature. Ubi is considering putting this back in the future to counter the turtle meta, but right now we don’t want that.

Unlock Exploits are Removed

Some players would attack and unlock on a player to make it unparryable. This is also not supposed to be here, because it’s unfair.

Flicker on Zone Attacks being worked on

This is when you see the red bar on your stance triangle quickly change from one side to another into a zone attack.

RAIDER BUFFS

Heavy attacks can now be canceled into Stunning Tap. All attacks can also be canceled into Stunning Tap. Stunning Tap can now follow into the light combo.

Raider’s Guard Break and throws are improved. Stampede Charge now drains enemy stamina and does not regenerate until after the throw Charge is finished. Stamina for the Charge is reduced. If you connect the Charge to a wall, Raider’s recovery is shorter to help combo into your attacks. The knee hit of the charge now deals physical damage.

Raider’s Stamina pool has been increased from 120 to 130.

Chop and Poke second light and light finisher deal increased damage. Winding Slash light attack damage increase.

Peacekeeper

The stabs during Guard Break have been changed. The first and second stab now deal both 8 damage over 8 seconds. The third stab deals 16 damage over 8 seconds. This is to stop people from just stabbing twice and jumping away to try again.

Lawbringer

Moveset page fixed to reflect his recent changes. Shoving an enemy and then activating revenge will no longer unbalance enemy. Swift Justice and Long Arm had bugs that are fixed.

Shugoki and Nobushi: Out of guard mode attacks are now consistent with guard mode attacks. Nobushi has also been getting some feedback, with discussions of change being talked about. This might happen down the line.

Warden: Warden’s Shoulder Bash was accidentally messed up. During start-up you can change targets, but this was accidentally removed. It will be put back.

XP Increase across all matches by 25%

Four new weapons and two armor gear per hero. Epic rarity gear can be looted at reputation 5. Crafting costs revised so earlier gear costs less to upgrade

Elimination

One revive per person per round. If you aren’t executed you can be revived only once. This is to help speed the match up.

Season 2 will give everyone a headstart pack. Everyone gets 4 loot crates and 12-days of Champion Status

Colorblind is still in the works.

PC Stuff

Players can now choose which controller-icons can be used in-game. You can use PC, PS4, or Xbox One icons.

Icon blinks to notify players the match is starting.

Other things

There is no plan to balance PC and console differently.

Gear appearance from Heroic to Epic cannot happen. Appearance changes are only on similar gear rarities.

You old gear will be updated, not reset. Values will update so you gear does not become obsolete.

Mythic packs do not include DLC characters

DLC characters have the same number of emotes and executions that other heroes did at launch. More will be added.

Ranked and Tournament moves will be discussed on Monday.

Season 2 will start next Tuesday, May 16 at 8am EST with about an hour of downtime for the updates.

anonymous asked:

“Biggest mischief?” Mello paused, fingertips brushing up past his lips. His eyes iced over for a second as he recalled something that had been hilarious at the time.

“I vandalized Near’s room once with black spray paint.” Mello said softly. “All of his toys, his bed, everything. I thought it was the funniest thing ever. I even hid in the hallway closet just to see his reaction. I never saw him run before that day. I think I might have given him a genuine panic attack.”

Mello tapped his cheek a few times, looking a little too upset at a situation that should have had him in stitches. Shouldn’t it?

“Roger had me gardening from fucking sunrise until nine at night for a month.”

h3chy  asked:

When a permanent is half tapped, what can and can it not do? Can it still block? Can you still use it to attack? If I have a creature that says "Half tap this creature do ____" Would you be able to use the half tap ability twice? Do you think the half tap mechanic should be for the Ass creature type again or its whole new creature?

A half-tapped creature has the same limitations as a tapped creature. It cannot attack, block, or activate abilities that require any form of tapping as an activation cost.

If a creature has half-tap [F] as an activation cost, it must be untapped to pay that cost. It cannot pay [F] as an activation cost when already half-tapped.

On the other hand, if a creature has an activated ability with half-untap [P] as an activation cost, it can pay that activation cost in any state other than untapped. (So a double-tapped creature with a [P] activation cost could theoretically activate that ability four times.)

Since the Ass creature type was specific to Unhinged, I think most creatures with [F] and [P] abilities should be the new “Shrimp” creature type.

Thanks for the great questions! :D

Lil Pokémon GO tips

● Even if you’ve read it before, it is still not possible to get back your failed pokeballs by tapping them. You fail, you lose them.
● If your bag is full go fight in a gym, you can earn experience and use potions without getting rid of them, and if there are pokemon around, use razz berries. After that you can come back to a stop and get more items.
● Assigning a pokemon to a gym gives you stardust and coins. Once you do it just head to the store and click the shield icon. Don’t worry if your pokemon loses right away!
● If you’re trying to catch a new pokémon that’s strong, don’t hesitate in using berries and other pokeballs. If you use normal pokeballs you’ll most likely lose much more.
● Using an incense can be very difficult. Make sure you use it in an area where you know there are good pokemon (a big city would be the best) and if you’re walking you’ll be able to attract more pokémon.
● If you’re going out, make sure you’re hatching an egg or two.
● Eggs give more candy than catching a pokémon (3 candies per pokemon caught)
● When you’re fighting in a gym, swipe your pokemon to dodge and tap it to attack.
● A good level to start powering your pokemon is at around level 13 or 15.
● You can only change your nickname once. Be wise.
● Pokémon in 2 km eggs: Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Magikarp, Pidgey, Caterpie, Weedle, Spearrow, Clefairy, Zubat, Rattata, Geodude.
● Pokémon in 5 km eggs: Ekans, Abra, Growlithe, Paras, Staryu, Venonat, Goldeen, Cubone, Bellsprout, Ponyta, Odish, Psyduck, Drowzee, Porygon, Nidoran (both female and male), Machop, Krabby, Sandshrew, Meowth, Horsea, Poliwag, Exeggcute, Tangela, Mankey, Magnemite, Slowpoke, Doduo, Vulpix, Diglett, Tentacool, Shellder, Seel, Gastly, Rhyhorn, Grimer, Koffing, Farfetch’d, Voltorb, Lickitung, Tauros, Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime
● Pokémon in 10 km eggs: Snorlax, Jynx, Lapras, Dratini, Eevee, Scyther, Magmar, Pinsir, Onyx, Chansey, Kabuto, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Electabuzz, Omanyte, Aerodactyl.
● If you want to gain lots of xp, use a lucky egg. But be careful! I suggest you use it in a place where there are many pokemon and pokestops so you have pokeballs guaranteed (bonus if they have a lure) and when you’re ready to evolve several pokemon (evolving a pokémon grants you 500 xp, having a new pokémon in your pokedex grants you another 500 xp, giving you 1000 xp. If you do it with a lucky egg you’ll gain 2000 xp).
● Keep catching all the possible pokémon you can, you’ll get more xp and candies (and even more if you transfer them)!
● Eeveelution trick: Name your Eevee “Rainer” to evolve into Vaporeon, “Pyro” to evolve into Flareon, and “Sparky” to evolve into Jolteon; note that this can only work once with each name. Once you name your eevee close the game and open it again so you can be 100% sure that it was renamed and saved. After your first eeveelution of each one you need to be more sure of renaming it but there’s still the chance of not evolving to the desired pokemon so take your chances.
● Favorite the pokemon you want to assign in gyms/don’t want to transfer.
● (Personal experience) There’s higher chances of new and rarer pokemon to appear at later hours. I managed to catch a pikachu, a meowth and an arbok around my house!
● (Personal experience) It’s possible that there’s a higher chance of catching a pokémon if you have plenty of it caught already. I have about 20 eevees and I can manage to catch a 200-300 cp eevee with a normal pokeball at first throw and without using any berries. On the other hand, I have few clefairies and even a 94 cp clefairy can escape from me. Unbelievable!
● Last but not least: Gotta catch ‘em all!

My Pokemon go tips

So a few tips I’ve picked up;
🔸Tap the pokeball while its rolling if you miss as sometimes you can get it back.[update -think this only works if you have less than 20 pokeballs]
🔸Gyms are only accessible when you’ve caught enough pokemon to get to level 5.
🔸If a gym is your colour you can add a pokemon if its over level 2, i think the higher the level of the gym the more pokemon can be added, though its one pokemon to add per player.
🔸With pokestops you need to spin the disc, so long as the name has loaded you’ll get items, you dont need to pop them to collect you can just close the pokestop and they’ll automativally be added.
🔸The game loads faster if you have the area in your offline maps in the Google maps app (handy if your in an area with patchy signal like me)
🔸Turn off the sounds to try and save battery.
🔸Turn battery saver and vibrate on, then if you turn the phone so its upsidedown the app stays open with the screen turned off and vibrates if anything is nearby. So you can put it in your pocket and concentrate on where your going.
🔸Catching pokemon and battles are easier with AR turned off, the pokemon doesnt move side-to-side so its easier to catch (though you cant dodge either in battles so its up to you) [update-you can dodge but its slower to recognise it]
🔸When battling a gym swipe side to side to dodge and tap to attack (button mashing attack if you’ve got ar off seems to be quite effective).[update-there is also a much better post about technique when it comes to gym battles]
🔸If you’re a passenger in a car (dont pokemon go and drive) going above 20mph it wont work properly the game wont register the movement and you cant load pokestops, though sometimes if you’re quick you can get pokemon.
🔸Pokestops reload every 5mins if you are still walking round. Though you can close the app completely and reopen it and you’ll instantly have access to the items (though it only works twice before you have to wait).
🔸Transferring multiples of pokemon to the professor gets you an extra candy in that type which you can use to power up or evolve the one you’ve decided to keep.
🔸If you have a pokemon in a gym you can get a defender bonus in the shop (shield on the top right) for each pokemon you have in a gym you get 10 coins, when you collect it you have to wait 20hrs to be able to collect again, so if your capturing multiple gyms in your area maybe hold off on collecting it.
🔸With CP it seems the higher it is the better, it can be made higher by powering up your pokemon with the candy or evolving them.
🔸Lures/insense follow you around if your walking and run for 1/2hr, the module ones for at pokestops are the same, so find somewhere to sit if you plan to wait in one spot for them to run out.
🔸With nearby pokemon (bottom right corner) if you select them then go back to the main screen, turn around slowly on the spot and a green line will come out from the nearby box when you are pointing in the correct direction to head on to find the pokemon.
🔸You have one unlimited incubator which you can use all the time, but if you want more you need to buy them using coins and the break after 3 uses[update- sometimes you get o one when you level up]. The incubators only recognise steps when the app is open so remember not to let your phone go to sleep, though it does recognise the steps if you have the app in the sleep mode mentioned above.
🔸If you come across a pokemon which has really high cp use a razz berry and it makes it easier to catch. (think you get razz berrys after a certain level, i guess its 5 but i only really noticed them after level 6 myself)
🔸lucky eggs give you double experience for 1/2hr, this is useful for going up levels, there’s a much better post about this going round if you need more info.
🔸Sometimes you need to battle a gym multiple times to lower the prestige before you can take it over.

Thats all i know for now, will update with more later as i find out more (updated 4, putting updates on points in square brakets, new points are still added to the bottom of the list). Hope it helps if anyone has questions, if not its a handy reference for me.

Things Blue Mages say
  • Draw. Go.
  • In response, Counterspell
  • It has Flying. You can’t block it.
  • It’s unblockable. Just plain unblockable.
  • I draw my deck out and cast everything.
  • No, you can’t have that.
  • Actually, I’ll take control of that. Forever.
  • Yeah, that goes through.
  • Mmm, bounce that.
  • Before you declare attackers, I’ll tap all your guys.
  • I think Snapcaster Mage was a reasonable card.
  • Blue has the weakest creatures in the game.
  • I mill you for a lot.
  • Then I exile your graveyard.
  • I really like Jace…
  • …but he was never the same since Mindsculptor.

Reblog if you’re guilty of saying any variant of these.

Commander’s Toolkit

Value White Cards

Below are some cards that should go in every white deck, besides the obvious (Path, Swords, Avacyn etc.)

1. Grand Abolisher

Grand Abolisher is one of my favorite mono white cards, because it stops blue and black strategies and other combat tricks in their tracks. Also pesky sac outlets and other activated abilities are prevented too, allowing you to do anything unhindered.

2. Return to Dust

Easily one of the best artifact/enchantment removal spells out there. Allowing you to remove up to two artifacts or enchantments if it’s cast during your turn.

3.  Leyline of Sanctity

There are few things better than having Hexproof right at the start. If this is in your opening hand, you instantly become difficult to deal with especially against decks with little enchantment removal availability.

4. Containment Priest

This is a really good way of dealing with cheaty archetypes such as reanimation and some tapped-and-attacking strategies. Since none of the cards entering via one of these methods are cast, they become exiled instead.

5. Sun Titan

No white deck should be without its trusty Sun Titan. It’s a great wall, beater and a way to recur some useful items that were removed earlier. It’s ability is also easy to recur with flicker and sac abilities.

6. Rest in Peace

Although this card can really bite you on the ass at some point during a game, it’s really good at making sure nothing is recurred  I run one in every white deck because reanimation and Marchesa, the Black Rose decks are common in my group.

7. Cathars’ Crusade

This card is a must in creature loaded and token decks because the creatures see each other enter they all get counters for each other creature that entered, which can make your creatures stupidly large later on.

8. Weathered Wayfarer

This creature is a great early game ramp card, especially if other players are playing ramp. This creature allows you to keep up with the other players by making sure you always have extra plains, especially good with cards that allow multiple land drops.

9. Martyr’s Bond

This is like a white Grave Pact, only better, allowing for the removal of non-land permanents when they go to the graveyard. What’s even better is that it doesn’t affect you.

10. Grasp of Fate

Despite having owned this card for some time I have only recently discovered it’s existence. Allowing you to Oblivion Ring for each opponent, and for the same price. Brutal.
