Hi there Tanner G!

How are you doing? I’ve looked it up and I have found a load of books with characters who suffer from Schizophrenia so hopefully you’ll find some you like the look of! Here is a list I found with 71 different books with what you want. I’m going to list the top five so you don’t have to go through them all!

  • I Never Promised You a Rose Garden by Joanne Greenburg / Chronicles the three-year battle of a mentally ill, but perceptive, teenage girl against a world of her own creation, emphasizing her relationship with the doctor who gave her the ammunition of self-understanding with which to help herself. \
  • The Girl in the Maze by R. K. Jackson / When Martha Covington moves to Amberleen, Georgia, after her release from a psychiatric ward, she thinks her breakdown is behind her. A small town with a rich history, Amberleen feels like a fresh start. Taking a summer internship with the local historical society, Martha is tasked with gathering the stories of the Geechee residents of nearby Shell Heap Island, the descendants of slaves who have lived by their own traditions for the last three hundred years. \
  • Inside Out by Terry Trueman / In a busy coffee shop, a robbery goes wrong. Two gunmen hold seven hostages, including teenager Zach Wahhsted. What nobody realizes at first is that Zach is anything but ordinary and his troubled mind is more dangerous than any weapon. \
  • Breathless by Jessica Warman / When Katie Kitrell is shipped off to boarding school by her distant father and overbearing mother, it doesn’t take her long to become part of the It Crowd. She’s smart, she’s cute, and she’s an Olympic-bound swimmer who has a first class ticket to any Ivy League school of her choice. But what her new friends, roommate, and boyfriend don’t know is that Katie is swimming away from her past, and from her schizophrenic older brother, Will, who won’t let her go. And when he does the unthinkable, it’s all Katie can do to keep her head above water. \
  • The Day the Music Died by Blair Evans / In one day, I lost the only thing I ever truly loved - music. With nothing in my life and no centering influence, I followed a path some would call delusional and make believe. But it’s hard not to succumb when you suffer a grief like mine. All I want is to know the difference between talent, inspiration and acts of chance. I will solve this riddle of musical deicide. \

Hopefully these books above and the books in the list are what you’re looking for love. Goodreads is a really good website (it’s even an app) and it helps you find new books and also shows you what other people rated it.

You’re worth more than you know.
