  • BINTI: HOME by Nnedi Okorafor: Granted, this one is a short story, but if you haven’t read part 1, BINTI, you are missing out. African-inspired sci-fi. You need this. 
  • PLASTIC WINGS by C.T. Callahan: Angels and humans fighting to the death, I’ve always been a sucker for a good angel story.
  • THE HATE U GIVE by A.C. Thomas: This tackles police brutality and I cannot wait to read this and recommend it to everyone I know. 
  • THE BELLES by Dhonielle Clayton: Girls who can manipulate beauty. Fresh concept and fantastic idea, I need this! Ahhhh  
  • DEAR MARTIN by Nic Stone: This one makes me already love it by its fantastic blurb. Police brutality, Martin Luther King, Blackness. Yes. 
  • YOU DON’T KNOW ME BUT I KNOW YOU by Rebecca Barrow: Accidental pregnancy, adoption, secrets! Yes!
  • UNRAVELING LOVELY by Ashley Woodfolk: Social media, diversity, and dealing with a tragedy.
  • LITTLE & LION by Brandy Colbert: A black and jewish teen and mental health! Ah, this sounds like a dream come true.
  • THE YEAR I LEARNED EVERYTHING by Roxane Gray: Not much has been revealed yet but Gray is a name you can expect nothing short from perfection of.

Hey guys and gals! I know I preach that our goals are more than just numbers on the scale, here’s my two week progress. This includes the first 6 Crush60 workouts. I’m working on my nutrition very slowly. I know it’s key and I’m making progress.

Here’s the stats:
Weight -2.4 pounds
Fat % -0.40%
Fat weight -2 pounds
Muscle mass -0.4 pounds? I don’t know why.

I have lost inches all over my body in the past month, which is more indicative of progress than what a scale can ever say! I’m almost back in a 3x shirt, and 44 pant.
Progress is slow, but very healthy! This is key guys! Always remember Rome wasn’t built in a day, they worked daily on it!
I’m excited to get more workouts in with Crush60 and show you guys more results!
