Han Solo being an amazing husband and father headcanons please! ❤️

Hi anon! Thanks so much for your request—this is what developed in response. I hope it fits your ask alright! It’s got some mother stuff in here too for Mother’s Day, and a little dancing (though real dancing is upcoming) for @knightedrogue‘s belated birthday. Sorry it’s 40 pages long friend

Things Han Solo Built

The first, of course, was the maple crib. Both inspired and simple, each bar spooled smooth and spaced at flawless intervals. No menacing edges. Burnished just with beeswax because, Han said, the kid might chew the wood. Leia found the crib reassuring as time contracted to the baby’s due date of late June. She knew Han would be a good father; his parental viability had never concerned her. Still Leia appreciated this manifestation of Han’s own labor, painstaking taken to an entirely unknown level. Finished, sturdy, meticulous, safe, the crib seemed to give off its own light and warmth, there in the loft under a window, waiting for the baby who turned out to be their daughter.

I thought I would start off this blog with some character descriptions, so, here you go!

Veronica Sawyer- a quiet and very smart girl, not incredibly well know until one day she runs into Heather Chandler and helps get her out of a troublesome situation. Heather Chandler decides to let Veronica into her “group” and immediately Veronica becomes very popular (all same as musical). Veronica tags along with the Heathers on their shopping trips and milkshake stops without too many problems until the Heathers begin edging Veronica on to do some not so nice things to her fellow classmates.

Heather Chandler- easily the most popular girl in school, right ahead of her fellow Heathers. She allows Veronica into her group to have someone forge a hall pass for her every once in a while. Seemingly sweet is her Tangee lipstick and soft blonde curls, but Heather Chandler isn’t afraid to embarrass someone for entertainment.

Heather Duke- head of the yearbook committee and the student government association. Not incredibly interesting as a person but excellent eye candy for many of the boys with her glossed lips and rouge. Second most popular girl in school, right behind Heather Chandler. Easily the smartest Heather, with all of the books she reads.

Heather McNamara- she may not be the least popular Heather but she is definitely the richest Heather, with her dad owning the only engagement ring store in all of Sherwood. She’s the head cheerleader but the least outgoing of all of the Heathers, making her the Heather with the best relationship with Veronica. Still not a truly nice person but has a sensitive side.

Jason Dean- the semi-new kid at school, he just moved to Sherwood about a month ago. He’s in Heather McNamara’s last period class, American History, and is always in his leather jacket. He’s never seen talking to anybody, his normal habitats are behind the gym smoking a cigarette between classes and, during class, some seat towards the back. Although he’s never pulled it out on anybody, he does carry around a pocket knife.

Kurt Kelly and Ram Sweeney- the two football stars of Westerburg High and the most popular guys. They normally spend their school time flirting with the Heathers, and now Veronica, and their afternoons at football practice. They possibly spend a little bit too much of their time at football practice because neither of them are very smart.

Is this good??? Idk. Although the jdonica relationship will be healthy I’m not gonna have JD have absolutely no problems at all what so ever because, like, that’s not Jason Dean. Also, if you’re worried about this, no I’m not going to change the slushie thing to a milkshake thing. Milkshakes are a treat for the Heathers and Veronica, slushies are for JD. Also yes I know I replaced JD’s trench coat with a leather jacket, I feel like it would be more appropriate for his character in the time period.
