Let's Build a List!

As suggested, we should build a masterlist of all cannonical queer characters within Tamora Pierce’s books!

This will be a group effort, considering there are a lot of books and a lot of side characters. Just drop an ask or reply to this with any queer characters that were established by the book or WoG and any other relevant information about them!

Here’s some to start us off:

  • Lalasa Isran
  • Tianine Plowman
  • Nestor Haryse
  • Okha Soyan
  • Duke Roger of Conte
  • Daja Kisubo

UPDATE:

  • Rosethorn
  • Lark
  • Thom of Trebond
  • Rizuka fa Dalach (Rizu)

It’s weird how your mind shifts dreams around from books you’ve read. In the Protector of the Small series, Kel wants to train to be a knight and is given hell for it. My brain shifted it to she was trying to join the football team (hi, modern setting!) and scrambling to be there on time and in the right place, but she was still using words like “tunic” instead of “uniform” while finding her stuff.

wtf, brain.
