Tameka Raymond spent some time with her sons in Miami for her birthday and snapped plenty of photos. Those boys are too cute for words. And I see little Cinco takes after his father with a thing for older women–we see you tryna get at Rocsi! LOL
Side note: How random of a group is Tameka, Rocsi and Raphael Saadiq (pictured above)??
Kile Glover (pictured above on the right), the 11 year old son of Tameka Foster/Raymond and Ryan Glover and the stepson of Usher, has passed away. He was declared brain dead after a jet ski accident and had been on life support. He was taken off life support this past week. Our prayers are with the family and friends of Kile, especially his parents.
I like the show so far. ..it’s just as “boring” as Hollywood Exes….
I like Christina and Torrei…so far..
Ceelo and Christina have great chemistry. ..and both dress different. ..i mean he dresses her lol…
Torrei…i feel sorry for her…sometimes it may come across as being bitter but she’s been there since day 1…and i think she should remain positive. ..i won’t speak negative about her ex and his baby back ribs lol
Tameka….i feel like she can be negative and judgemental. ..i do feel for her due to her loss but she could be a little nicer…
Usher’s 11-year-old stepson has been declared brain dead by doctors following the accident Friday when he was struck by a jet ski … TMZ has learned.
According to our sources, Kyle Glover (son of Usher’s estranged wife Tameka Foster) has not experienced any brain activity since he was admitted to the hospital. We’re told there has been no decision yet as to whether or not to take him off life support.
Our sources say Usher arrived at the hospital last night and Tameka has not left the hospital since she got there.
As TMZ first reported, Kyle was struck in the head by a passing jet ski while riding on an inner tube on Lake Lanier in Atlanta, GA.
Tameka Raymand Loses Custody Battle In Emergency Hearing
It was a showdown in court today as Usher and his ex-wife Tameka battled it out in an emergency custody hearing, after their 5-year-old son Cinco’s near-death accident. Even though there was compelling testimony from both sides, Usher won and will keep full custody of both of their sons.
They both took the stand along with Usher’s Aunt Rena, who was caring for Cinco at the time of his accident, and while Tameka made it clear that Usher hasn’t been communicating with her on who has been watching their kids, Usher claims that he has always kept Tameka in the know. Tameka also told the judge that Rena has a disability that should render her incapable of caring for two small kids, but when Rena took the stand, she insisted that she’s been taking care of the boys for years and Tameka never had an issue with it until now.
Usher’s lawyer said the kids are “thriving” with their dad and the bad press has been circulated so that Tameka can gain custody. Meanwhile, Cinco is reportedly still in the hospital not because he isn’t okay, but because Usher refuses to sign him out until “every possible test has been completed.” He also said Usher’s aunt is a “very attentive and wonderful person,” and Cinco has a “wonderful, responsible, and caring parent” in Usher.
Here’s what happened during cross-examining:
Usher admitted that he didn’t know whether or not Rena had a cell phone with her when she watches the kids. She apparently didn’t have a cell phone at the time of the accident so Tameka’s lawyer questioned Usher on why he thought it was appropriate for his caregivers to not have mobile phones on them. Even though Tameka claims he didn’t tell her that both of his nannies weren’t working for him anymore and that’s why Rena was watching Cinco, he insists he told her face-to-face. Tameka says one of those nannies no longer employed by Usher is currently suing him.
Later, Tameka told the judge that she never knows where her kids are and who they are with which constantly worries her. Apparently there was another incident on Father’s day when Cinco came home limping with a gash on his toe. Tameka emailed Usher to figure out what happened but he didn’t respond, so she took Cinco to the hospital. Shortly after that incident, she claims that someone was cleaning Usher’s house and found a loaded gun that they set out in the open where it remained for days.
Here’s a few quotes from Tameka during cross examining:
On How Cinco Is Doing My son is alive. I see he’s doing well. There are several issues that I’m concerned about that don’t seem quite normal. I would say he’s at 70 percent but he’s well because he’s alive.[…]No, he’s not able to be released.
On What She’s Concerned About I’m trying to narrow it down to why we’re here today. My son was at a pool that I now [know] does not have a gate or any kind of safety fence or anything around it. He was stuck in a drain that doesn’t have a drain cover. A caregiver who does not swim and clearly did not administer CPR or CPR training. I have a concern about so many aspects but mainly, bottom line is my son had to be revived and brought back to life. My son died on the scene from what I was told by the doctor.
On Rena Aunt Rena was Usher’s father’s sister. He had no relationship with her while we were married. He got into a relationship after I encouraged him. […][I’ve known her] since 2007. I never knew she was supposed to be a caregiver at all. As far as I know, she’s been on disability because of a vehicular accident and has a really bad back.[…]I never knew Aunt Rena could swim due to her disability.
On How She Found Out About Cinco’s Accident My former husband didn’t even let me know my son almost drowned. It was about 3:30 [that day when he called me.] An hour [went by]. I was told [by Usher] that my son was injured and got a cut on his arm. I thought his arm may have been broken. He called and said that his arm has been cut and was on his way to Children’s Hospital. [When I saw him at the hospital] I broke down immediately. [Cinco] was screaming and he had a mask on his face and he was trying to get to me and they were restraining him on this table.
[Usher] started explaining once I was in the emergency room. The police were there, doctors rushing in. This was not a cut. Then he started to explain what happened. I asked him where he was. The caregivers that I’ve known him to have that he introduced to me in January, I didn’t know they [weren’t with him anymore.][…]I don’t know who my kids are with. I would assume it’s his girlfriend, his mother…I can’t even speak to my kids when they’re with him.
If you took past headlines for face value, someone might be fooled into thinking Usher and Tameka Raymond weren’t competent parents. Particularly because there court battles are normally sprawled out in the media.
After the tragic events of last year, which resulted in the death of their young son (and the bitter custody battle that ensued) you’d think that the Raymond’s might show a more united front as parents.
But instead Tameka Raymond used this as an opportunity to file an emergency request for primary custody after the couple’s 5-year-old son - Usher Raymond V - nearly drowned in a pool on Monday. It seems they don’t even trust each other and things are obviously still bitter between the pair judging from the long awkward silence during court proceedings
During questioning, Tameka broke down in tears talking about her son’s accident, saying she didn’t know if her child suffered permanent brain or heart damage.
But a judge ruled in Ushers favour, dismissing her claims that he was an inattentive father who employed incompetent caretakers, in this case his aunt Rena, to look after their children. The accident was simply the misadventure of a young boy and thankfully the quick actions of workers at the house meant their son survived, for the most part unscathed.
Usher has had primary custody of their two boys since the Jet Ski tragedy in 2009 that claimed the life of Tameka Raymond’s 11 year old son, Kyle Glover.
Meanwhile Communication between the duo showed progress after Usher extended an empathetic hug to Tameka after it’s adjourn.
Hopefully the family can move forward and this will be the last of the messy court battles.
