Weekend Hashtag Project: #WHPreflections

Weekend Hashtag Project is a series featuring designated themes and hashtags chosen by Instagram’s Community Team. For a chance to be featured on the Instagram blog, follow @instagram and look for a post every week announcing the latest project.

Mirror, mirror, on the wall! This weekend, the goal is to take photos and videos of reflections, both man-made and naturally occurring. Here are tips to get you started:

  • Notice reflections in all different surfaces around you. Whether it’s a freshly polished mirror, a cup of coffee or a smooth lake, there are reflections ready to be captured everywhere.
  • Play with different forms of photography. A reflection that’s full of life and motion is an opportunity to experiment with Boomerang, reverse video or Hyperlapse.
  • Pay attention to light and how it changes throughout the day. This will affect the brightness, quality and movement of the reflections you see around you.

PROJECT RULES: Please add the #WHPreflections hashtag only to photos and videos taken over this weekend and only submit your own visuals to the project. If you include music in your video submissions, please only use music to which you own the rights. Any tagged photo or video taken over the weekend is eligible to be featured next week.

Hyper Projection Engeki Haikyuu - Winners and Losers Reheasal

  • Kouta and Kenshin - Seijoh’s tallest and shortest players!
  • Shoutarou is completely captured by strawberry milk; he’s getting it almost every day now.  Judai took photos of him while he was taking a selfie with it.  For cat day he also wrote in his blog: “Dogs are good too but… I’m definitely a cat person.”
  • A second-year photo from Shouhei!

Weekend Hashtag Project: #WHPgoodmorning

Weekend Hashtag Project is a series featuring designated themes and hashtags chosen by Instagram’s Community Team. For a chance to be featured on the Instagram blog, follow @instagram and look for a post every week announcing the latest project.

This one’s for you, early risers. The goal this weekend is to take photos and videos that capture the sights and sounds of the world waking up. Here are a few tips to get started:

  • Take advantage of soft morning light, whether it streams through your bedroom window or lights your favorite hiking trail at sunrise.
  • Record quiet moments with your family before the day starts moving: still-sleeping portraits, steam rising off a cup of fresh coffee and reading the newspaper together.
  • Consider morning moments that aren’t slow — not everyone has the weekends off of work. Take a Hyperlapse of the vendors setting up the fish market before the sun comes up, or a Boomerang of park ranger out in the field.

PROJECT RULES: Please add the #WHPgoodmorning hashtag only to photos and videos taken over this weekend and only submit your own visuals to the project. If you include music in your video submissions, please only use music to which you own the rights. Any tagged photo or video taken over the weekend is eligible to be featured next week.

Day 17/30 Studyblr Challenge: Find a new/different study spot to your usual one and snap a photo. I spent lots of time on the go on this beautiful day, working on different projects (doesn’t that forensics summer reading look fun? ;) and learning to take a deep breath and keep going when things don’t work out. Also loving the idea of reasons to be happy- the cute doodle from @calmdownmorrissey really inspired me and I’m working on finding those reasons big and small every day.

Want a blog compliment?   They are open through the end of tomorrow, and I have a little announcement for the end so stay tuned!

Weekend Hashtag Project: #WHPdreambig

Weekend Hashtag Project is a series featuring designated themes and hashtags chosen by Instagram’s Community Team. For a chance to be featured on the Instagram blog, follow @instagram and look for a post every week announcing the latest project.

Your dreams encapsulate your highest goals. This weekend, the goal is to capture that reach-for-the-stars feeling with photos and videos. Here are some tips to get started:

  • Are you training to run your first marathon? Take a video that moves along your favorite route. Starting your own business? Capture the process of making the goods you’ll sell with a Boomerang.
  • Notice other people around you who are working to achieve their dreams. You’ll see that successes big and small are happening all around every day — a daughter graduating from university, a baby taking their first step — if you only take the time to look.
  • Document your own dreams that have already come true. Photograph your newly purchased home or a plane ticket to a destination that changed your life.

PROJECT RULES: Please add the #WHPdreambig hashtag only to photos and videos taken over this weekend and only submit your own visuals to the project. If you include music in your video submissions, please only use music to which you own the rights. Any tagged photo or video taken over the weekend is eligible to be featured next week.

THE B.A.P VIEWTIFUL LOVE PROJECT

On November 24, 2015, when B.A.P had been getting messages and messages from BABYz, apologizing for being unable to net the group any wins for their return to the kpop scene with Young, Wild & Free, Himchan posted this on Instagram:

“It doesn’t matter. As long as we have you guys, that is enough and overflowing. Don’t be sorry. People always say, ‘I want to make it so that you only walk a flower path,’ right? For us, the path you guys are on is our flower path. The fact that we are walking together…I’m happy and thankful for that alone.”

Along with this touching message, he posted a beautiful photo of flowers, giving us a gorgeous visual to go with his gorgeous words.

There’s no denying that, since the beginning, things have been rough for both B.A.P and BABYz. The group has been through mistreatment and abuse, through physical and mental hardships. Their amazing talent and promising careers have been greatly damaged, simply because they were brave enough to fight for their personal and professional rights, and BABYz have been with them through every up and down.

This is where the Viewtiful Love project comes in. BABYz have always had one of the best reputations amongst fandoms for being friendly and accepting, but there has been a lot of negativity within our ranks lately. Though we are still supportive, loving, and accepting, many of us have also become at times bitter, saddened, and frustrated.

The Goal
The goal of this project is to bring some hope, positivity, and happiness to not only these six wonderful men to which we give our love and support, but also to each other. Instead of focusing on the bad, being frustrated, apologizing or feeling sorry for the things that go wrong, we will work towards making this path as beautiful a flower path as it can be.

The Method
Taking inspiration from Himchan and his Instagram posts, we are asking BABYz, worldwide, to send us beautiful photos that they have taken, accompanied by uplifting messages for the boys, individual members, or other BABYz. These photos will be uploaded to the viewtiful_love Tumblr, Instagram, and Twitter, along with the name of the submitter (or whatever name they wish to submit), and what country/city (again, whatever the submitter is comfortable with) that the photo was taken. This way we can offer support to not just B.A.P, but the entire fandom, by offering glimpses into the beautiful parts of our lives and this amazing world we live in, and encouraging words to come back to when things get difficult.

How To Contribute
What To Send
• An original, self taken photo of something beautiful in the world around you. Please make sure that it is as high a resolution image as possible.
• The location that the photo was taken, as specific or vague as you wish it to be. We at least ask for country, but don’t go out of your comfort zone.
• A message or quote you wish to send, and whom you would like it directed to: A member of the group, the whole group, or BABYz. This is optional, and secondary to the photo, but is a way that you can help increase the positivity. If you send a quote, be sure to give credit to the person that originally said it.
• Whatever name you would like the photo credited to. This can be your real name or a screenname.

Note: You may submit more than once. In fact, we encourage it. Depending on the volume of submissions, if we receive multiple photos and messages from any one person, we will space them out amongst those from others.

What Not To Send
• Please DO NOT send photos that you find on the internet, or that you do not own. Part of the point is to see the world through BABYz’ eyes, and we don’t want to contaminate that sentiment, or have anyone stealing photos.
• We also ask that you do not send selfies or pictures of friends/people. We don’t want anyone’s identity compromised or likeness uploaded.
• Keep your messages and photos clean and suitable for all ages! Nothing racy, inappropriate, or crude. No negativity, bashing of B.A.P or members of B.A.P, nor bashing of any other kpop groups. Our goal is positivity and love, so keep that in mind. If your message is deemed inappropriate by our admins, we will upload it without a message, and contact you for a new one. If you answer, we will later edit that message into the posts where we are able (this means Twitter will stay without a message). Inappropriate photos will be deleted and ignored.

Where To Submit
• Send submissions via email to viewtifullove@gmail.com
• Send to our submission box on our Tumblr, viewtiful-love.tumblr.com
• Send via private message on our Twitter, @ViewtifulLove

We do not know yet how well this project will go. We would ideally love for it to go on indefinitely, with as many BABYz worldwide contributing to the joy and happiness of the fandom as possible. If we are successful, we hope to post photos and messages every day, but we will need help. Please consider reblogging, retweeting, or otherwise sharing this project with other BABYz and B.A.P related groups. It will take as many of us as possible to make it a success.

Day 365 (2017-06-13)

Still the same path.

And it’s finished. I’m surprised that I actually managed to keep photographing every day for so long. When starting, I expected to keep this up for few weeks, maybe months, but not for the whole year. Long term projects are just not for me. Or so I thought. But somehow I’m here at the photo with number 365, completing one year of photos (even if I had trouble keeping up with posting them).

That said, I plan to continue the daily photo challenge is some way, though I’m not yet sure what form it will take. I’d like to push my photography skill forward, not just ability to keep up doing something every day. I’ll probably abandon the limit of single theme and try different approach, but there’s no plan yet.. Until I decide, I’ll will continue with taking nature photos and posting them here.

And last but not least: Congratulations to everyone who joined this journey of daily photos, even if you haven’t gone as far as I did. And thanks for supporting me.

Weekend Hashtag Project: #WHPyoungatheart

Weekend Hashtag Project is a series featuring designated themes and hashtags chosen by Instagram’s Community Team. For a chance to be featured on the Instagram blog, follow @instagram and look for a post every week announcing the latest project.

Age really is just a number. This weekend, head out into the world and capture playful, candid photos and videos showing how life is better when we keep a touch of whimsy in every day.

Here’s how to get started:

  • Turn the mundane into the magical by observing daily scenes through the eyes of a child. Clouds become animals, the ground turns to lava and a cardboard box lets you travel through time.
  • Have you kept any mementos from your own childhood? Take a video, Boomerang or multi-post to show their presence and meaning.
  • Just grab your camera and be joyful. Be spontaneous. Be silly! We could all do with taking ourselves a little less seriously.

PROJECT RULES: Please add the #WHPyoungatheart hashtag only to photos and videos taken over this weekend and only submit your own visuals to the project. If you include music in your video submissions, please only use music to which you own the rights. Any tagged photo or video taken over the weekend is eligible to be featured next week.

beautifulstrnger  asked:

Rin as husbando/papa headcanons please senpai <33

Oh, how you tapped into my soul with this one.

Rin

Husband:

  • Being the obsessively organised person that he is, Rin would no doubt spend a ridiculous amount of time cleaning around the house when he has the spare time. This habit doesn’t bother you at first, until there’s an instance in which he cleans and organises so well that he loses the electricity bill that you were yet to pay. Hell was raised after that day…
  • Any photo of Rin crying like a baby on your wedding day was framed and hung around the house, much to Rin’s absolute disgust. It was a joint project between yourself and Sousuke, with the latter taking every opportunity to laugh until he cries at each and every photo whenever he comes over to visit.
  • When the pair of you were looking for your first house, you made the poor choice of allowing the rest of Rin’s friends to weigh in on the decision. The kitchen table of your tiny apartment was crowded with the entire former Iwatobi and Samezuka teams with each yelling out what they wanted out of the house. Haru, naturally, passive-aggressively campaigned for it to have a pool. Makoto politely suggested to him that it would be far out of their budget. Nagisa wanted a crystal chandelier that was bigger than the entire house itself. Momo wanted a bug sanctuary and Nitori quietly requested for a library. You ended up putting your foot down and kicking the hooligans out of your apartment for ruining your budget expectations.

Father:

  • Rin is one of those fathers that is constantly has to keep track of his kids. He has to know where they’re going, at what exact time, who they’re going with, what they’re doing, how they’ll be getting there… He’s even gone to the extent of following his kids on a few occasions, just to make sure they were doing what they told him they were doing. There are multiple times in the family where the kids stage a revolt against their father’s helicopter parenting.
  • When his children were first born, there is almost no doubt that Rin would be crying even more than his newborn. And as much as he protested, there were multiple pictures taken of that moment for his partner to mock him over for years to come.
  • Swimming would most likely be the first sport his first child would be exposed to. Pretty much canon at this point

*Christmas evening, opening presents*

(Y/N): Okay, my turn. I got each of you a present that I though was pretty unique, yet maybe a little cliche.

Steve: Dafuk does cliche mean?

(Y/N): Never mind… anyways, here they are. Take the one that has your name. *each opened their gift to reveal a pair of colored pants*

Ponyboy: Well, this is… unique…

(Y/N): I told you. There’s something I need to do for my photography class that requires fashion and you boys.

Dallas: Nope, count me out. I ain’t doin nothin that requires me to put on a green pair of pants and stand in front of a damn camera. No way man.

(Y/N): Dally! Please? If I don’t do this then I’m gonna fail and I can’t have that happen to me.

Dallas: …fine. But it better not be right now.

(Y/N): No. We’ll do it when the snow melts.

Darry: Wait, I have a question…

(Y/N): What?

Darry: Why do I have the pink pants?

Steve: Yeah, and why do I have to wear purple?

(Y/N): Stop complaining! It’s only for a couple of pictures!

*day of the photoshoot*

(Y/N): Alright, each of you get on the ledge and give me your… I don’t know… your toughest look.

Dallas: I have no problem doin that.

Johnny: Do we really have to do it now? It’s freezing!

(Y/N): Don’t worry, it’ll only be a couple of minutes. *takes a couple of photos and all go back home*

~the day were you gets your project and grade back.~

Teacher: Very well done, (Y/N). I enjoyed the color. Congratulations.

an A+

*at the Curtis’s household*

Sodapop: Hey (Y/N). How’d your project go?

(Y/N): See for yourself.

Two-Bit: An A+?! (Y/N) that’s great! There’s just one thing…

(Y/N): What?

Two-Bit: We never got to see that picture.

(Y/N): Oh, welp, we’ll hang it up so everyone can see it.

The picture now hangs in the Curtis’s living room beside the couch. Every now and then, you’ll catch one of the boys wearing the pants you gave them, and it will remind you of that picture, which makes you grin so crazily everyone will think you’re crazy. :)

This Photographer Traveled To 37 Countries To Prove That Female Beauty Is Everywhere

The photo project “Atlas of Beauty” took photographer Mihaela Noroc to 37 countries, where she saw endless versions of beauty over 15 months.

Two years ago Romania-based photographer Mihaela Noroc decided she needed a change in her life.

Havana, Cuba

“I had jobs that I didn’t like. I was working just for money, had exhausting and uniform days, and I realized that all my life could be like this.”

Riga, Latvia

Amazonian Rain Forest

A vacation abroad inspired her to make a change.

El Palco, Chile

“A trip to Ethiopia showed me some wonderful women, far away from our modern world and trends. This was the moment when I realized that beauty is everywhere and I could show this to all the world.”

Omo Valley, Ethiopia

This led to her photo project “Atlas of Beauty,” where she spent the next 15 months traveling the world taking pictures of women in 37 different countries.

Medellin, Colombia

There are many aspects to beauty:

Plantou, Tibetan

“We shouldn’t lose our cultures, traditions, and origins because these make us different and beautiful.”

San Fransisco, USA

Yangon, Myanmar

Tbilisi, Georgia

Maramures, Romania

Ecuador

Shiraz, Iran

“I can say that every day of traveling confirms to me that beauty really is everywhere.”

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Mihaela hopes to continue her ambitious project and plans to travel to even more countries in the future.

“I want to publish the first edition of the ‘Atlas of Beauty’ after I make another journey,” she said. “I need more images and more diversity to show that we live in an amazing world.”

loosingmymindtothewalrus  asked:

For your snapchat brainstorm: What if there was Mama jirard snapping photos of him and hana baking cakes and cookies all the time and like shane takes videos of pbg and jared arguing over weither a shirt is pink or salmon

YES also

-Jared either sending the dog filter or 20-chinned photos depending on who it is

-Shane rarely uses it, but he likes taking pictures of people on campus and then drawing over them to make them look ridiculous

-Satch taking really nice photos (and really nice selfies) also posting updates on his VR project every once and a while

-Jirard always responding to people’s stories, asking them if they need anything, or congratulating them on stuff

-PBG snapchatting during class (and pretty much about his entire day)

-Jon would take videos of him and Jacques’ banter, as well as drama updates

-The Hidden boys’ stories get. Wild. During. Sleepovers.

-Jimmy using all the filters and being really cute and happy

-Caddy and Luke trying to take the most unflattering pictures of people possible

-Continue? boys posting videos of them doing weird crap and no one really understands it but they love watching the chaos

-Hana starts out really not taking selfies or anything, but after a while gets more confident thanks to her friends and s l a y i n g

-Mai secretly taking pictures of Jared, or Hana’s boy of choice, and sending it to Hana with the only caption being “ ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)”

-Wallid takes videos of people running and then places bee emojis all over it to make it look like they’re running from bees

-Mimi just literally posting drama and no one would really care enough to look at her snaps

-Kakusu never ever using it, but when she did the phone would usually malfunction,  making it look like her eyes were glowing for some strange, unknown reason.

-even Miss Shizuka would have one and use it often

Many of you have asked “where are you?” “what happened with this project?” “I want more! When are more coming?”

Starting things is always the easiest part, finishing anything is the hardest. I paused this project because of the fact I wanted to ensure I made it to the finishing.

Both this 365 Days of Lomography project, and the previous 365 Days of Leica were, at their root, about the hope of normalizing seeing the world with a photographic eye. I wanted to get out of the idea that “photography” happened only at photo shoots, and that every day “photos” were for iPhones and those images were dispsable; *cough* Snap Chat.

In 2013 when I got my Leica, I wanted to learn it inside and out, and also apply the photographic strictness to my everyday snaps, and I fell in love with it through that 365 Days of Leica project in 2014. But part of what made that project so successful was how simple it was. I had one camera, one flash, one film, and it could all hang around my neck at all times every day. I wasn’t carrying “gear” with me, I was just out and it was an extension of me. What I didn’t anticipate about the Lomography project was that shooting different cameras, that have different flashes, and different films, some of which I could attached to a stap, some that  I couldn’t, was going to complicate the process JUST enough to create a gap between seeing a shot and shooting it.

Every photographer thats been shooting for more than a few years will tell you “the gear doesn’t matter, its how you use it.” Of course thats true; to a point. Terry Richardson’s early work proved that point in spades, as he shot with basic point and shoot cameras virtually all the time; to the point that models got upset that he wasn’t taking the shoot seriously because of the gear he brought. However, the point and shoots he picked were smart choices; so although gear isn’t the most important part of photography, having some idea of why that piece of gear is great makes all the difference in the world. Understanding its limitations, playing up to its strengths, and having a photographic understanding turns that “cheap camera,” that “point and shoot,” that “toy camera,” into a tool. I think the best way to look at cameras is like a paint brush. Paint brush technology is simple. Wood, hair, bonding agent, GO. Knowing which brush for which scenario is where the skill/talent/experience comes in. Cameras are the same way, a disposable camera is great in certain setting and complete shit in others. A 5D Mark ii is great in almost all settings, but to me feels like “Jack of all trades, master of none.” My normal every day carry is my Leica M6 and a Leica is an amazing camera, and especially for how and what I shoot; and really thats just it. Gear choice is about finding the camera that fits YOUR shooting style.

At the end of the day the best camera is the camera you will shoot with the most; the camera the seamlessly bridges the gap between inspiration and execution. What  365 Day of Lomography showed me was that, for me, even the smallest gap between seeing your shot and shooting it, breaks down the system. Often times my cameras had to be in my bag, so Id see something, stop, get out the camera and the moment would be gone. Not all the time, at times the Lomo cameras captured images in such a way no other camera would have been better, but restricting my photography in every scenario to cameras that has specific strength started to get in the way of the goal of the project. Not being able to control the circumstances of what I was shooting and having cameras that needed more control meant the gear was getting in the way of the photo. I started to realize that the project itself, being focused on cameras, hardware, technology, rather than the photography wasn’t sticking with the goal of applying a photographic eye to day to day photos. It was applying specific hardware to every scenario and hoping it fit.

So with all that said, what does it mean? It means I’m taking everything out of the way between me and the photos. I’m going to re-start the project under the name 3 Sixty 5 Photography. Returning to the idea of shooting every day, and not restricting myself to how, or what I shoot it with. I want to be free to use the Lomography cameras and play up to their strength. To shoot my Leica, to shoot my polaroid, to shoot my 3D Nimslo; and even to experiment with whatever else comes along. At the end of the day I want this project to be about the photos and not the “how.” Of course, as a photographer, and a tech guy, I love the technology. I love the “how" part and so I certainly want to keep talking about photography, equipment and gear. But I want to remove the restrictions and “rules” from the project, because it wasn’t leading itself to the best work.

Starting TODAY I’m going to resume posting photos daily; and I will be making up some ground that I lost while was paused. Given the pause in time Im going to remove dating the photos and simplify the project to numbering the photos 1 to 365. My hope is that I will catch back up to end the project in early 2016, like 365 Days of Leica. I’m super excited to be able to mix Lomography, Leica, Polaroid/The Impossible Project and medium format. Im exited to get back to the project because I LOVE the structure of shooting daily and creating something unique; and Im even more excited to be able to do so with all my tools.

To all those that have stuck by and anxiously waited for more THANK YOU! I think you’re going to be excited about whats to come. The only bit of house cleaning to mention is that given the change the URL is going to be changing from 365daysoflomography.tumblr.com to 3sixty5photography.tumblr.com. For your RSS-ers you’ll need to update. For the following Tumblr will do the work for you.

The tale of two cities according to Heiko and Stephi - Part 88

It’s the fourth advent today, Christmas is close. And there are only six doors left on the advent calendar. At least for the people who didn’t open (and eat) everything that was behind all of the doors on the first day. As you may see, Heiko and I only opened the doors but didn’t eat anything. This shows how serious we take this project. Can you imagine how hard it is to open 17 doors (photos were taken yesterday) and not to eat the chocolate?

I guess many of you know this tradition but maybe not everyone does. So I will make a short explanation (not only Heiko can be informative). An advent calendar has 24 doors, behind every door is a little piece of chocolate (there can be anything else behind the doors, but chocolate is the tradition). Every day in December until Christmas Eve (December 24th) you are allowed open one door.

This weeks praise to all the chocolate and sweets you get during Christmas time.

Weekend Hashtag Project: #WHPfriendshipis

Weekend Hashtag Project is a series featuring designated themes and hashtags chosen by Instagram’s Community Team. For a chance to be featured on the Instagram blog, follow @instagram and look for a post every week announcing the latest project.

International Day of Friendship is on July 30, and to celebrate, this weekend’s goal is to make photos and videos that capture every aspect of friendship. Here’s how to get started:

  • Grab a friend or a group and take a fun selfie that shows what it’s like when you spend time together. Try using Boomerang to add motion.
  • A horse who hangs with a duck? A puppy cuddle puddle? Share a photo of your pets or an animal odd couple.
  • Find letters from pen pals, care packages, friendship bracelets and any other tokens you have that mean friendship to you.

PROJECT RULES: Please add the #WHPfriendshipis hashtag only to photos and videos taken over this weekend and only submit your own visuals to the project. If you include music in your video submissions, please only use music to which you own the rights. Any tagged photo or video taken over the weekend is eligible to be featured next week.

Instagramming the Arctic with @swdavest

For more photos and videos from the arctic plains of Alaska, follow @swdavest on Instagram.

“My husband built a hotel here a few years ago. After we met, we came back to do another building project,” says Stanche Sweatman (@swdavest), who shares photos and videos from her life in arctic Alaska on Instagram. “This time around, we’ve been here just over year.”

Instagram helps pass the time in a place where, in the winter season, it’s dark nearly 24 hours a day. “My husband is busy working most of the time, so I escape every chance I get to take pictures and spend time during the day and evenings on Instagram.”

With temperatures often dropping to -40°F (-40°C), the temptation to stay inside where it’s warm can be strong—but the extremely photogenic and alien arctic landscape often wins out. “Instagram is my motivation to brave the weather and get out regardless of the temperature or conditions and take pictures,” says Stanche. “I think the extreme cold somehow comes through in my pictures.”

Unfortunately, dark winter days mean occasionally missing out on an exciting photo opportunity. “Once, we received a call from friends who told us there was a polar bear in town. It was only about five minutes from our house so we took the truck and went to have a look. We stayed in the truck and watched the bear, about 30 yards away, eating a seal, oblivious to our presence,” Stanche says. “It was too dark for good pictures, but still a great experience.”

Weekend Hashtag Project: #WHPcolorfulcooking

Weekend Hashtag Project is a series featuring designated themes and hashtags chosen by Instagram’s Community Team. For a chance to be featured on the Instagram blog, follow @instagram and look for a post announcing the weekend’s project every Friday.

This weekend’s prompt was #WHPcolorfulcooking, which asked participants to take photos of healthy food using colorful ingredients. Every Monday we feature some of our favorite submissions from the project, but be sure to check out the rest here.

My blog is a project I started at the beginning of the year. Everyday one picture - I wanted to see what kind of pictures I take, even if there is “nothing” to picture. And, to focus. Besides the weekends, I have only one, two hours to make the photo of the day. To take this photos every day, puts pressure on me and calms me down at the same time.

http://facebook.com/todososdiax

brought this to school for a project but I decided to take it back and just submit a picture instead, cause I could never replace it if it got lost. c:

Weekend Hashtag Project: #WHPactionpacked

Weekend Hashtag Project is a series featuring designated themes and hashtags chosen by Instagram’s Community Team. For a chance to be featured on the Instagram blog, follow @instagram and look for a post announcing the weekend’s project every Friday.

The goal this weekend is to make photos, videos and illustrations that capture a peak moment of action. Inspired by National Comic Book Day in the US, here are some playful ways to make images that pop with energy:

  • Use dramatic lighting, creative poses and bright colors to make ordinary life feel more comic-like.
  • Keep in mind the environment in which your action is taking place. Control your backdrop by framing the desired scene in camera, then photographing your subject as they pass through the frame.
  • Try placing your camera low to the ground and shooting upward at your subject for a more dramatic perspective.

PROJECT RULES: Please add the #WHPactionpacked hashtag only to photos and videos taken over this weekend and only submit your own visuals to the project. Any tagged photo or video taken over the weekend is eligible to be featured Monday.
