tairu panda

This is one big ass photoset… And a totally fun project. With all the Mario Kart 8 hype that’s been going on for the last two months I did some Mario Kart themed commissions. I’m super grateful for all the support from everyone who commissioned me and I hope you guys are having fun with Mario Kart 8 as much as me and my friends are!

WAHOO! 8D *nyoooom*

Get ready. FIGHT-O!!

I was inspired by a song that lead me to drawing a face, which lead to some positive feedback on twitter, which lead to me making an entire picture out of it. So that happened! It was heavily inspired by this song: Blinded by Light. Sometimes the most random art comes from the music we listen to.

I also like saturated colours! 8Dc

Sleepy panda bear~

My first drawing of 2014! I was doing some more experimenting and stuff with colour and fur and somehow this happened. I was also freezing my toes off, so I guess I was compelled to draw with warm cozy colours (pretty much the exact opposite of what I’m in now… brr.)

This thick coat would come in handy for the winter, you’d think.

Somewhat like a snuggle, with a bit of a nuzzle. I’ve been missing California a lot lately. It was so nice being able to visit Tavi in January and just live life in the states. I reside from Atlantic Canada, so it was quite a long flight. It’s really something else to break free from the boundaries that technology has on us and actually see each other face to face again!

It’s the little things I enjoy the most, like just hanging out and doing nothing, derping around, tickling each other, awkward-over-the-chair hugs, being scared shitless in San Francisco at night (~o.o)~ ooooogity boooogity. Stuff you normally can’t do to a computer screen (unless you’re really good at acting (lol) there’s an awkward image for ya) Heheh, I honestly feel like the luckiest guy in the world to have what I have: Flying from one end of the continent to the other, seeing new people and making new friends, mixing cultures, trying new food, traveling, and being reunited at the airport which is just such an amazing feeling to me. It’s both an obstacle, and a gift to be able to do what we do. I am very thankful for everything.

I can’t wait to derp around with my orange panda-man again and make it as memorable as last time. There will always be a next time.

If you haven’t noticed, I’m a big old sap. I am very aware!
