[This prompt was requested by @anonymousedward, who requested some Garou del Toro who is making a monster movie and just wants a few things to go his way.]
Garou had his head in his hands when Mumen walked into the office, growling at a stack of photos of synthetic masks and body suits and CGI concept boards, quietly muttering, “All I want is for the monster to be sexy, and I really don’t think that’s so much to ask.”
“It is a little unorthodox,” he said as he walked behind him, rubbing his shoulders and trying so, so hard not to smile, especially as his boyfriend-turned-director picked up one of the many storyboards and went on a rant about the importance of ‘sexual tension’ and ‘animal magnetism’ and something about his vision for the fiftieth time.
“And the costumes are perfect,” he all but yelled, making Mumen jump as he rifled through the mess on his desk and pulled out several shots of the other actors, practically throwing them back at him, “especially given that it’s a period piece, but it’s all shit if the audience doesn’t want them to get together.”
Mumen finally failed and laughed as he hugged Garou’s neck, pulling him back against him even as he grumbled, barely managing to say, “I promise, Garou, they are going to love the beast just as much as they love the story.” And when Garou asked just how the hell he figured, Mumen’s mirth softened, and he pressed a kiss to his cheek as he mumbled, “Because you’re really good at making people fall for a monster.”
