Quick fact. Ready?
Melatonin is a hormone in charge of regulating one’s circadian rhythm. It is produced naturally by the pineal gland as night time approaches, but this secretion can be disrupted by too much light exposure during the evening hours.
What kind of light? Blue light in particular. This is often given off by electronics such as cell phones, tablets, and televisions.
I love love love the thumbnails you've been posting!! I can't believe you did those in 10-15 min. I was wondering if these are scenes that you've visited/painted live, or if they're from films/photos? If it's the latter, how do you decide what subjects to paint? If it's the prior, do you get any weird looks for dragging your tablet out in a public space? Thanks <3 <3
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoy these, I love doing them so much <3 These scenes are completely from my head, completely original. one of my main goal is to improve my imagination skills, so that means I try to use less photo references as possible. The subject appears while I’m sketching abstractly. Sometimes only a single stroke makes me see a scene that, later, I try to paint. I set up a day to study from photos/traditional master paintings and another day I apply my studies to original sketches. That’s why I also published my patreon page, I want to write my progress and improvement while recording my art process and sharing them in depth with those who would like to learn more about my workflow!
I only draw in my traditional sketchbook in public, but I’m a very shy person and I try not to get attention to myself x) I painted outdoor once with my tablet and it was a cool experience! Since it was in college, people were just too busy to wonder what the hell this person was doing haha
You are a reaper, actually one of Death’s favorites. You’ve been following the story of the Winchesters for a while, staying out of sight, never letting them see you. You slowly fall in love with Sam, even though he doesn’t know you exist. But that all changes one day.
“A reaper cannot
be pregnant.” He answered. “It’s unheard of, and that child is going
to be a monster!”
With those parting words, he vanished, leaving you clinging
to Sam, his words echoing in your ears.
“Sam, do you think?” You started to ask, your face pale,
your hands shaking. You hadn’t expected that reaction from Cas. Not at all, and
it had shaken you to your car. Sure, you knew that as a Reaper your child would
not be normal, but you hadn’t expected it to be named a Monster before it had
even been brought into this world.
Hey, so I was wondering if you could write a fluffy Kevin imagine where he and the reader are being teased berceuse Sam and Dean know they like each other but they don’t really know the other likes them! Does that make sense? Sorry’
I would love to! Kevin is my favourite SPN character to write/read.

“And that, kid, is how I got laid by one of the most beautiful girls ever,” Dean said with proud smile while Sam scoffed.
You had been peacefully reading in the Bunker’s library until Dean decided that it was too quiet, and so he ended up telling you the worst story you had ever heard.
“Seriously, Dean? This is what you do for fun?” Sam asked from across the room.
“Hey, at least I don’t do nerdy stuff,” he replied to his brother, and you rolled your eyes as they started bickering.
You stood up and walked to the table where Kevin sat.
Kevin Tran was about the same age as you, and the only person you could talk to when Sam was too busy doing research or Dean was just being annoying. He was a prophet, however, and since he had the task of translating the angel tablet he wasn’t always available for chat. But on the rare occasions when you would convince him to have a break, you two had gotten to know each other magnificently.
Truth to be told, you had actually started to develop feelings for him. Feelings you didn’t really want. Kevin was a great guy, but deep inside you knew you were scare about having a relationship with him, or anyone else for the matter. Your brief “love life” before getting into the hunting business hadn’t been too successful, plus you two would always be in danger, being people the Winchesters cared about. Oh, and there was also the fact that he couldn’t possibly like you.
Pulling away from your thoughts, you smiled at Kevin, who had put down the tablet. This struck you as weird, since you usually had to call his name a few times.
“They could easily be a married old couple,” he joked looking at Sam and Dean, who were still arguing.
“Yup,” you laughed. Kevin turned back to you and smiled. You felt a blush creeping up to your face and tried to force it down by putting your cool hands against your cheeks. “So, you ready to take a break?”
“Definitely,” he said, rubbing his eyes. “I’ve been staring at this thing for hours and still can’t figure out anything.”
“Well, anything in special we should do?” You asked him. You always let Kevin pick what to do, as he rarely gets away from the tablet.
“A shower would be good right now,” he says casually and your eyes widen accompanied with a blush nothing even a demon deal could stop. In the distance, you can hear that Sam and Dean have gone silent. Kevin noticed your face and immediately mirrored it.
“I-I mean, that I would take a shower. No-not with you! I mean, we can do stuff afterwards, but I wasn’t saying that we should shower together,” he said quickly. You look away your face crimson red.
“Yeah,” you cough, and Kevin stands up rather quickly. A few seconds after he leaves, Sam and Dean burst out laughing.
“Oh my god,” Dean says, struggling to breath. “You should’ve seen your face!”
“Shut up,” you say, grabbing the nearest book and pretending to read. Dean, and Sam surprisingly, keeps laughing. “Seriously guys, just shut up.”
“You like Kevin,” Sam says with a grin. “(Y/N) likes Kevin! (Y/N) likes Kevin!”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” you mutter, hoping that Kevin can’t hear them.
They finally begin to calm down, and you march out of the library, your head held high as Sam and Dean giggle quietly.
About twenty minutes later, there’s a knock on your door and Kevin walks in.
“Hey,” you greet him with a smile. “So, thought about what you wanna do?”
“Actually, I think you should pick today,” he says. “We always do the stuff I want.”
“Yeah, but that ‘cause you don’t get many breaks.”
“Well, I want to do something you like,” Kevin insists. You sit up on your bed, ready to argue, but before you can do anything he grabs your hand and pulls you up, effectively making you quiet. “C’mon, just this once.”
“Okay,” you squeak at the closeness between you two and at the fact that he’s still holding your hand. Clearing your throat, you look down, thinking. “Well, how about some baking? Even though I’m not really good I think it’s fun.”
“Sure,” Kevin smiles, letting go of your hand. Sighing internally, the both of you make your way into the kitchen, carefully avoiding passing by the library.
To your dismay, however, Dean is in the kitchen already, grabbing something from the fridge. He smiles when he sees you and in that moment you want nothing else than to tape his mouth with tape and lock him in his room.
“Lovebirds,” he says with a nod of his head.
You blush again (which is all you seem to be doing today), and look anywhere else but Kevin.
“Get out Dean, we’re gonna do stuff,” you say, glaring at him, but immediately regret what you said.
“Stuff, sure,” he smirks, “just make sure you don’t make a mess.”
He walks out, patting Kevin on the shoulder and chuckling to himself. Cursing under your breath, you soon began getting stuff out of the cabinets. In a few minutes you find all the ingredients you need and you turn to Kevin, who has been standing by the table just looking at you.
With his cheeks becoming a light pink, he stands close to you, and you begin to give him instructions.
“Okay, we’re making chocolate chip cookies, so I need you to mix the flour, salt, and baking soda.” You start mixing butter along with a few more things, and in about thirty minutes the cookies are in oven.
Leaning against the counter, you softly laugh at Kevin, who has flour smeared all over his face.
“You look like a clown,” you comment, making him smile.
“Better not let Sam see me then,” he replies while rubbing a wet cloth over his face.
“Sam see what?” Said Winchester walked in, his brother following behind.
“Nothing,” you said with a wave of your hand, hoping they would go away. No doubt they were here to embarrass you. Sam understood what you were trying to, and shook his head slightly, making you put your head in your hands.
“(Y/N), are you okay?” Kevin asks, worry in his voice. You smile and put your hands down.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” you say.
“So, when are these cookies gonna be ready, lovebirds?” Dean asks, making you clench your jaw.
“In about ten minutes,” Kevin says heatedly, “and why do you keep calling us lovebirds?”
You look away from Kevin while he looks at Dean confusedly. Why did you get out of bed this morning?
“Kevin we know you like (Y/N),” Dean says, grinning at him. Okay, so you weren’t expecting that.
You turn to look at Kevin, who is now the one avoiding to look at you.
“We’ll leave you guys alone,” Sam smiles, walking out of the room and taking Dean with him.
“Do you really like me?” You whisper after a few moments of awkward silence. Kevin turns to look at you, his hand on his neck.
“Well, yeah, I mean, what’s not to like?” You blush at his comment, but he puts a hand to your cheek. “You’re smart, kind, funny, and beautiful. I’m just surprised you didn’t know.”
You scoff and look at him, getting lost in his gaze.
“I know you don’t really feel that way but-” you silenced him with a kiss. You meant it to be short, but as Kevin put his arms around your waist, you realised you wanted more. All the emotions the both of you had been bottling up for a few weeks now came out with this, and you finally separated because of your need for air.
“Who said I didn’t like you?” You asked, kissing him again.
