Is the Syrian People's Revolt Coming to an End?

Who would have thought that ammunition shortage and not body counts would determine the end of a revolution? Personally, I do not know enough to sufficiently determine if the Free Syrian Army Fighters are in the right.  I can say that I have extreme admiration for individuals who are brave enough to defy a government so much stronger than them.  I admire anyone who is willing to sacrifice his or her life for ideals, even if I do not hold those same beliefs.

It seems unfortunate that the group is not receiving any international assistance.  The United States is always looked to in these sort of matters, especially when we were already at odds with the current government.  I think the general consensus is that we should lay low for a while.  We need some time to regain international credibility and lose the red, white, and blue bully costume.  Yet, it seems a contradiction that we posited ourselves in the affairs of a country where our presence was never petitioned, but deny assistance to in a region where it is desired.
