🔮✨☕ Feel Better Tea Spell ☕✨🔮

For when you have general aches & pains or a slight cold.

Ingredients:
🍵 1 part Rosemary (aches & pain relief)
🍵 1 part Fennel seeds (pain relief, digestive aid)
🍵 1 part Chamomile (nausea, helps calm you down)
🍵 1 part Eucalyptus (congestion, mood lifter)
🍵 optional: sweetener (honey/sugar/agave)

How to:
☕ add all ingredients into a strainer/tea bag and pour boiling water over them, steeping 5-10 min
☕ as it steeps I like to imagine all of the good stuff from the herbs seeping into the water, filling it with my intent to feel better. (If you’re into verbal spell work, I very much enjoy @awakenedchaos “Universal Healing Spell” chant.)
☕ remove strainer/bag and add sweetner if you wish, stirring clockwise
☕ as I see the steam rise before my first sip, I thank my deity for the relief I will be given.

Mugwort Tea

Mugwort tea is said to induce prophetic dreams and is used in divination. This is my personal recipe that has worked so far for me c:

  • a teabag of chamomile (Celestial Seasons does several blends like Tension Tamer and Sleepytime that can be used too!)
  • a tea egg/ball (little mesh or metal ball that the loose leaves go in)
  • ½ tsp to 1 tsp mugwort
  • ¼ tsp of wormwood 
  • 6-10 oz hot water
  • some sort of natural sweetner like sugar, honey, or agave nectar or stevia because both herbs can be gnarly bitter

The amount of herbs can vary depending on body size. I am petite so I use a smaller amount. Both mugwort and wormwood can be toxic so take a few sips and wait ½ hour before downing the cup. 

Place chamomile tea bag in a mug with sweet stuff. Place the mugwort and wormwood in the tea egg/ball and set in cup. I think that most egg/balls have a little chain with a hook attached to the end, put the hook on the edge of the cup or you will lose it in the tea forever. Boil the water. Most mugs hold 12-16 oz. 

Pour the water over the tea bag and the herbs, let steep for approximately 10 minutes. Mugwort can cause super drowsiness so get ready for sleeping before ingesting.

**It is always a good idea to write down the mixture of herbs and set aside a small sample just in case you have a bad reaction. I am not an herbalist and if some shit goes down, get your ass to a hospital if need be!

Drink coffee! Yum!

No.. not your overly sweetened starbucks frappacinos, sorry..

But good old plain coffee.

It is full of antioxidants annnd it can improve your metabolism by 3-11% !

Add a light sweetner and cream or just drink it black and enjoy the benefits!

Low carb dark chocolate coconut cookies!

66 calories and 2g net carbs each :)

Makes 20 cookies!

Ingredients:

1 ¼ cup almond flour
¼ cup shredded unsweetened coconut
¼ cup 85% dark chocolate ( chopped)
3 tablespoons coconut oil ( melted)
1 egg
Sweetener of your choice
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions:

Mix together almond flour, baking soda, shredded coconut, salt, chopped dark chocolate in a large mixing bowl. If you are using granulated sweetner, mix it in to this mix. If using drops, add it in the next step.

In a separate bowl, beat egg until uniform in color. Add in melted
Coconut oil, vanilla and whisk well.

Add liquid ingredients into almond meal
Mix and fold with a spatula until just combined. Cover and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Roll 1 inch balls of dough and place on nonstick baking sheet about an ink apart.

Press down lightly to flatten a bit. Bake for 7-10 minutes or until edges are brown. Enjoy!

A lovely noodle dish, popular amongs it’s citizens in Republic City due to it’s quick preperation time. And just like the titles states, these noodles are really cooked in an instant! 

You don’t even need a stove to cook them! Convinient, eh? Because of that, this recipe falls under the category of my mini series of Avatar inspired food that can be cooked without a stove, to honor the people in college and such, as requested by the wonderful @daughterofthemoonslayer

What is your opinion on 0 cal drinks, like cascade ice or lifewater or diet coke? Are they healthy

Let’s focus on the water and sparkling water. I’ll get to the diet soda in a minute. Flavored water has it’s pros and cons. And this depends all on your weight loss journey, fitness journey, and lifestyle. These waters contains some unhealthy sweetners. Then again, if youre a regular customer of Splena and Sweet and Low or even Stevia and Truvia (which btw is still hotly debated as “unhealthy”), then like me, you wouldn’t care about the artificial sweeteners. Also, some waters contain caffeine. So be wary of that. Read the ingredients! On the plus side, most are enhanced with some B vitamins, which is awesome for your metabolism. As well as C and D. And, some have Electrolytes like sodium, potassium, magnesium and zinc. Overall, Imo…waters like Ice, life water, American Ice, la crioux, are good. Everything kills you nowadays… Shit… Even the sun is bad for us. I drink them. I do drink diet soda, even though they have no health benefits for you… And have 20mg of unwanted sodium. So I do drink diet soda and I’m trying to cut back in all honesty lol. Anyways, anyone else wanna add to this discussion????? just Anon or ask and I’ll post it for everyone. This is just my opinion on the waters.

now let’s get one thing straight

seltzer, club soda, and tonic water are very different things

  • seltzer has no added compounds for flavorings, but it does have added carbonation, which makes it fizzy
  • club soda has added salts and minerals for flavor purposes in addition to added carbonation for fizz so it tastes a little different from seltzer
  • tonic water is carbonated and has added quinine because it was originally developed as a malaria remedy - it also has added sweeteners to cover up the bitter taste of this quinine, which gives it a very distinctive bitter-sweet flavor, ideal for mixing with gin

there are a couple exceptions to these three classifications

  • mineral water is a variation of seltzer where the carbonation is found naturally in springs (some may be added afterward) however the delicate flavor of the natural minerals in this water make it more suitable for drinking on its own rather than mixing with anything, also it usually comes in cool fancy bottles
  • flavored seltzers are abundant and have various different natural and flavors added, however they most importantly do not have any added sugars and are largely intended as an alternative to sodas

important notes

  • seltzer is ideal for mixing with flavor syrups for italian sodas because it has the least amount of dissolved minerals and will therefore make the flavor of the syrup ring truer to one’s tastebuds
  • technically, because of its added mineral and salt content, club soda is nearly indistinguishable from mineral water, so the two can be interchangeable when mixing drinks - however, due to the generally more expensive price of mineral water, the cheaper club soda is preferred as a mixer and its salt content has the bonus action of highlighting complexity in a drink’s flavors
  • the name “tonic water” is misleading, because the sweetner content of this beverage technically classifies it as a soda

Chocolate chip banana bread coconut cookies…ain’t that a mouthful?! Enjoy these little guys for breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert! Xx

1 ½ cups oat flour
1 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
½ cup coconut sugar (or sweetner of choice)
1 cup dark chocolate chips
½ cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
1 tsp baking powder
1 ripe (brown spots) mashed banana

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
2. Mix all dry ingredients together thoroughly, then add milk
3. Mash banana in separate bowl, then add to wet mix
4. Add chocolate chips
5. Place rounded tbsp. of “dough” on lined baking sheet
6. Bake for 6-10 mins, or until firm & lightly browned

Diabetics & Harry Potter

Potion based insulin that has been evolving and around for years. To begin with, large drinks of it was taken twice a day, like an equivalent to the Muggle long lasting insulin. In more modern times there are several variants of this potion that can be taken in several ways, depending on the witch or wizard consuming it. 

Diabetic versions of the sweets in Honey Dukes. Something different to sweetner is used within the food so you get all the sweetness without blood sugrs rising and the unfortunate side effects of eating too many sugar free sweets. 

Spells created to help figure out blood sugar levels, primarily used before newer techniques came in, they are still used by students and travellers to test their blood sugars in remote locations away from more conventional and modern day means. 

Muggle born diabetics and magic born diabetics comparing the different means of testing blood sugars. Magic borns being fascinated by the kits used by muggles and the higher level of accuarcy they have.

Magic borns using muggle insulin as it works better for keeping their diabetes under control. muggle borns learning about the way the insulin potion works and discovering that, unlike muggle insulin, it works wonders for them.

Each class room having a store of hypo treatment potions and jellies in a cupboard for if a diabetic student has a hypo. They are colour co-ordinated to match the severity of a hypo. 

Spells that tell you the carb content of the food on your plate and informs you of how much you have eaten to avoid giving yourself too much insulin. 

Owls carrying in empty sharp boxes and prescriptions for those using the muggle means of treating the disease. Sharps waste, however, leaves through a different means in one big batch per month.

Madame Pomfrey growing used to treating students with Ketoacidosis over the years and brewing a potion to help with the extreme stages where students cannot keep liquids down. Whilst it does not treat the condition, it does help to keep liquids down. 

Baking Cakes With LOA

When you are ready to receive, it will manifest in your reality.🙌💃😆

If you’ve ever baked a cake 🎂🍰, or cooked a meal🍝🍜, you’ll know that there is a certain amount of preperation that goes into getting to the final result.

You gather the ingredients, put them together in the right amount, then prepare them by cooking them until they are the correct temperature. And then when all is said and done, you sit down to enjoy your cake or meal.

After you enjoy your meal you clean up what you use and put the ingredients back where you like them to be so that they are available for future use.

You can either enjoy the process, and learn and grow from the challenges that might surface, or you can whine about the challenges and add to the negative energy that causes you to have less and less success.

Maybe you didn’t add enough sugar (or whatever sweetner you prefer to use…maybe you added too much…The point is you wanted to learn how to bake this cake, and you wanted it to be delicious, so the challenges weren’t filling your mind with self-defeating thoughts…
Instead they were inspiring your growth in skill.

You simply said, “Oh, needs more sweetner, or less sweetner.” And you went at it again until you got it how you liked it.

It took time to cook it, but when it was ready, it was ready!

This is a good example of what happens with us and the law of attraction, or just life in general - whether or not you believe in LOA.

We want something (like the cake), but instead of thinking the (positive thoughts, and having the positive energy) of “Ok let me put together what I need to bake this cake.” We say there’s no cake here, feel bad about it, get mad for not seeing the ingredients or other options, don’t think about going to a store to buy a cake as an option - or the possibility that someone may gift us a cake or the infinite possibilities that could flow to you…We just say I want the damn cake now and it’s not here wth…and then we try to use a proceess to make the cake appear faster from that vibrational place of lack and negativity.

That’s not the best focus for what you are wanting to do. İt definately can lead to you changing your perspective. However, it is more often too discouraging to gradually move up from feeling wise.

If you are in a better mood, a more positive mood, or start gradually reaching for relief into a better mood, more ideas and actions can flow to you, and you don’t get so attached to the cake not being sweet enough that you aren’t able to take the appropriate actions.

If you are grateful for whatever you have and playful about the idea of having some delicious cake, you are in better harmony with receiving the cake however it is able to flow to you through your paths of least resistance.

👉Learn to control your own mind.👈

👉Recognize that fear is a means by which you are more apt to be controlled by too much of a focus on what you don’t want.👈

Remember that LOA matches what you send out. And if you don’t believe that, you must have noticed at least that you can feel the difference between negative and positive energy. And you don’t like to be around the negative energies too much. And the fear of what you don’t want has a serious influence on the actions you take and the thoughts you think.

👉Energy influences your perception of reality.👈

You do not control the Universe, or other people in the Universe, although you can have some control over your own thoughts and mind.

When you do have more control over your own mind, that’s when you are more able to work in harmony with the Law of Attraction to experience better feeling results and more positive and healthy results.

Why?

🌟You are tapped into who you are at your core.🌟

You want to be kind and to good to others and yourself. You want to have that good balance of thought and action. You don’t want to be so far spiritually that you ignore the practical actions of life on Earth, and you don’t want to be so physically focused that you neglect the spiritual aspects of your life either. You want that good balance that creates the happy good feeling meal or cake.

We get too physically focused, in a sense, when we give control of our minds to destructive fears and thoughts. It becomes hard to overcome until we are able to gradually shift focus on to love and positivity.

We get too spiritually focused when we start neglecting our basic needs and the fact that we are also physically focused human beings that are living life here on Earth with its Earthly challenges.

When we get to focused on abundance, that’s when we start exhibiting things like greed at the expense of the well-being of others. There is a balance to be had.

You CAN have a massive share of wealth and have a balance of it benefiting the highest good too. It’s all about your focus and energy.
