When a lime fruit drives along the lakeshore to meet a sheep

… something like this yarn might be the result.

The sweetgeorgia panda top (60% merino, 30% bamboo viscose, 10% nylon) from this photo became a 2-ply sock yarn. What I am especially happy about is the fact that I finally managed to get a decent yardage. 100g spinning fiber ended up being 410 m (448 yards).

The stuff was delightful to spin as - due to the fiber content - there was no pre-drafting necessary. I’ve splitted the top in half lengthwise and spun it worsted style. During plying the colors lined up pretty well without me being religious about that. A bit of barber poling will probably some make nice color transitions in the knitted fabric.
